For the love of Bengay, it looks like Big Brother will finally add a mature player (we're talking septuagenarian here, people) to the cast when the show returns to CBS this Sunday. CBS is expected to reveal the entire cast tomorrow morning on The Early Show, but EW.com has already learned that a 75-year-old man (and ardent fan of the franchise) will be among the players vying for the $500,000 cash prize this summer. For a show that typically features 20-something hotties with gorgeous bodies, recruiting a great grandfather is a (welcome) first for the show.

"It’s the most diverse cast we’ve ever had in terms of ages, backgrounds, points of view, and personalities," executive producer Allison Grodner says of the next installment. "Big Brother 9 involved couples, singles, and soul mates who were young, single, impulsive, and ready to party. We do a 180 with Big Brother 10. This summer you’re going to find a 22-year-old body builder and a 75-year-old great grandpa in the house, and everyone else in between. We’ve had diversity of age in past, but he's clearly the oldest contestant we’ve ever had."

6 More Days 'til Big Brother 10

Happy Monday, Big Brother lovers!

By this time next week, I'll have already completed the first overnight report of Big Brother 10, and the HGs will be waking up and starting their day in the BB10 house. Hard to believe! Just 6 more days to go.

Tomorrow morning on the Early Show on CBS, Julie Chen will introduce us to the HGs, but we're expecting photos before then... some time late this evening, actually. We'll be on the lookout for 'em, and we'll get them all up for you as soon as humanly possible.

FYI, all of the links for the live feeds here on bbdish will take you to the Early Bird Special page. At 2 weeks free & 12.99/month, the offer's pretty hard to beat, but it only lasts a little while longer. I strongly recommend taking advantage of it before July 13th when it disappears forever.

So... a couple of things to report.

First up, under the heading of, Some people take BB a LOT too seriously, someone in the UK actually called in a bomb threat to their BB house last night, necessitating the evacuation of all the housemates... for a couple hours, till the bomb squad gave them the all clear. For the ebay fanatics, there are several active BB Auctions happening right now, including Adam's BB9 Bag - the proceeds of which are a donation to the Humane Society. I'm hoping to be the winning bidder on that one, but it never seems to quite work out. Ah well. lol.

Next... Evel Dick posted on his myspace blog that he's looking for a few good creative types with video making skills. Here's the gist of it:

I want your creative skills and comedy skills here....
Make some parodies of Big Brother, any season or any person that has ever been on the show. Make it good, if you don't need to say who you are in it, and everyone who knows the show knows who you are doing (you know what I mean, you dirty minded perv's) you have done a great job.
Maybe a great fight from the past. Maybe a great one liner. Something that will always stick with you about a particular season or person that was in the house (Jase primping.)
Try to go back a bit too. It will be too easy for you to do someone from BB8 or BB9. You are welcome to, but put some thought into it. Don't make me suffer through shit either, well the interns they are sending me anyhow.
I have ideas too, so they better be better than anything I come up with.

Next... for those who are wondering, Yes, we're aware of the cast list that's been circulating for the past several days... It happens every season, and so far, it's never been right. This one may well be legit, it may not, but with so little time left to wait for the 100% real thing, we're willing to be patient and wait it out. ;)

Meet Our New Youtube Channel

I'm getting excited. Our favorite addiction is kicking in high gear this coming week. We will get a peek at the houseguests, a peek at the house, and by Sunday we will be watching them in action. I'll be here again "capturing" videos of all the wild times the season 10 live feeds have to offer us.

In case anyone missed it. Carolyn our wonderful BBDish creator got a shout out on the July 2nd Live Chat with Sheila. A clip of the shout out has been added to the Dish Chicks New Youtube Channel:

Big Brother 10 Cast Reveal Tuesday on the CBS Early Show

Happy 4th of July everyone! Forgive any typos... 90F & a Pina Colada may not lend itself to flawless grammar, so I'll let the picture do the talking.

In case that type's a little too small for everyone, the Early Show Big Brother Cast reveal will be Tuesday morning! It'll be followed up on Friday with a house tour.

Sheila Live Chat Tonight, Early Bird Special & Ebay Roundup!

Good evening, Big Brother lovers! 2 posts in one day? Must mean we're getting closer to the mayhem that will be Big Brother 10...

I just wanted to take the opportunity to remind everyone about Sheila's chat tonight at 6pm BBT on the feeds.

Also, since I haven't officially said anything about it yet, I got word from the folks at real today to start tooting the horn about the early bird special for the live feeds. Toot! Toot!

If you sign up for the free trial of the live feeds before July 13th, you get a nice 10% discount, and it works out to 12.99/month, instead of 14.99/month. Either way you slice it, phenomenal deal. What's that work out to? Fifty cents a day, 2 cents an hour... and that's if you're paying the premium price?! Nuff said.

On to ebay... In addition to the live chat tonight, Sheila's got a special buy it now auction happening on ebay. Here's how it works:

Big Brother 10 Allison Grodner Interview "The Game Starts Before they even enter the House"

She is the Allison your Grodner. You shall have no other Grodners before her...

Ahhhh-men.

Allison Grodner gave an exclusive interview to WeLoveBigBrother.com yesterday, and spilled some nice details. The clip is just below here, and it's definitely worth the 8 minute listen. The bullet points below are the main points I garnered after 2 listens to the interview.

• The game starts before these people even enter the house...
• Era Decor confirmed.
• Audience participation confirmed.
• All strangers.
• Wide range of ages.
• Very diverse cast.

Ms. Grodner sounds very excited about the upcoming season. Us too!

She made mention of this a couple times... Veddy interesting! I wonder what it means! lol.

Early BB10 Cast Reveal?

Happy Tuesday, Big Brother lovers! The BB10 News is definitely heating up. First off, there's going to be a live chat with Sheila that is happening on Wednesday, July 2 at 6:00pm BBT/9:00pm Eastern. You can click the pic to sign up for the feeds and gain access to the chat.

According to BB Alum Diane Henry's announcement (via bulletin) on her myspace, it sounds like the cast reveal may be happening a bit earlier that usual... like tomorrow?! Here's what Diane had to say, "So Wednesday we're doing a press junket and introducing the new BB10 cast mates so if anyone has some good questions that we might not think of let me know ok! Just wanted the fans to be a part of this somehow : )"

If you've got questions, here's the link for Diane's myspace. And thanks very much to Quirkydude for the heads up about Diane's bulletin! Ironic though it is, with nearly 6,000 myspace friends now, we never actually see bulletins. They fly by way too fast!

Here's the thing... Diane didn't specify an actual date, just Wednesday. It would make a lot more sense for the cast reveal to be Wednesday, July 9th than Wednesday, July 2nd. N'est-ce pas?? Wednesday, July 9th would definitely fall more into line with the 5-7 days before the first airing cast reveal...

Still, I'm just tellin' ya what she said...

Like I said, typically, the HG reveal doesn't happen until they're all sequestered in the BB house for the summer, and that's generally 5-7 days before the first show. Frankly, I don't know what to make of this. Nonetheless, I'll be on high alert all day Wednesday the 2nd looking for the info! :)

Incidentally, Sheila will also be on housecalls this coming season... Wednesdays. That's confirmed. We've also heard rumors that BB9 Matt may be in the housecalls lineup. Another rumor running around was that Kaysar may be out of the HC lineup... Hmph! Thankfully, our friend Lessa from BigBrotherCraze quashed that one... So for Housecalls (so far) we have Wednesday-Sheila, Thursday-Dick and Friday-Kaysar.

And then there's the Wednesday afternoon Dick-a-thon - Dick reports that in lieu of the 2 hours of fish/flames/guinea pigs/whatever that preceeds every live show (to make sure all us feeders actually tune in to CBS for the live show) on the feeds, we'll be seeing him do an interview show... on the feeds during that time period.

Lastly, remember the guy who had the oddly public argument with Evel Dick? Well, I got word from the Silver Kid today that he will not be on the upcoming season of Big Brother... I know you're all heartbroken. ;)
