Rachel and Adam are doing their best to soothe a very tearful Jordan, when Shelly walks in, pushes the wrong button, intentionally antagonizes Jordan and Jordan unleashes holy hell on her!

Jordan: No, I don't think I do!
Shelly: When you calm down, we have to talk.
Jordan: No, I don't wanna talk.
Shelly: I'm not playin' Jeff's game, so you're pissed.

Shelly: Jeff did. I can't wait til you see the DRs. I CAN'T WAIT!
Shelly: (loud) Because, you know what?! As bad as I feel for you? I Feel like shit too!
Jordan: (loud) You should feel like sh*t!
Shelly: I do!
Jordan: You should! I gave you a F*ckin call! I wanted to talk to MY family! I gave YOU
Shelly: I know!
Jordan: That's how you repay me?!
Rachel pulls Jordan out of the room.. and into the Candy Room to keep her from slugging Shelly... The fight continues enroute.... Rachel is physically holding onto and pulling Jordan...
Jordan: You LIED the entire time!
Shelly: Oh, Jordan..
Jordan: Cuz all y'all think Daniele is a god!
Shelly: She did too! She was the 3rd vote.
***Shelly, there was no 3rd vote. Rachel hoodwinked the both of you. Fat lot of good it ended up doing, but she was not a 3rd vote. Had she been, Dani would still be in the house. Now be a decent human and give her back her stuffed dog.
Rachel: Oh yeah...
Jordan: (now yelling at Porsche and Kalia as well) ALL Ya'll follow Daniele cuz you think she's the greatest! Her season was 4 years ago, and who gives a F*ck if her dad is Dick?!

Jordan: Oh, God.. I'm so stupid!

ReplyDeleteLet me say first that I could never play this game. But I know that it is a game. My problem tonight is how Shelley has played it. If she got impatient and decided now was the time to split with the very people who protected her by winning comps that she couldn't win, and giving her a phone call from home when she needed it most, then the least she could have done was told them up front and "straight shooting," as she calls it. Telling them when she made the decision to defect would have been the sportsman's like thing to do, and what is she (or does she claim to be) other than a sportsman?

ReplyDeleteThere are so many things I would like to say about Shelly right now. No one in this game has ever touched me in such a negative way. I will say, in her pre-season interview she made the comment that she would throw up if she were ever compared to Rachel. I don't have to think about karma coming back to bite her in the butt. When all is said and done, she is going to realize the the reaction to her has been far more negative than the reaction to Rachel ever was. And when she watches the show where they interviewed her daughter and realizes that not only was she a little disappointed in her mom, but at the age of 8 she is already wiser and more mature, I think Shelly will have a lot of regret.

Out of everyone this season, I am so disappointed in Shelly. With the exception of Adam, most of them have no idea how the real world works, what’s expected of you professionally, and how you represent your family. I started out this season a big fan of hers – now, sadly, I just want her gone. Thank God Shelly's husband Tony is a stay-at-home dad so Josie doesn't have her as a day-to-day role model. BB can bring out the best and the worst, and it’s sad to see this is the real Shelly. All the compliments and encouragement for others are her cover, and it’s blown when she leaves the house. I hope she soon sees the light and realizes she has to go back to her former life in less than a month. $500,000 is a lot of money, but it’s not going to set her or her family up for life. And don’t get me started on how cocky Porsche is, she’s ridiculous. And who would have thought Rachel would be the glue holding Jordan together tonight? Go Rachel, and Go Adam for final 2!!

ReplyDeleteDid Will and Mike play with high morals? Did Dcik Danato play a morally perfect game? Did **** play with morals? That could fit almost any winner in the history of Big Brother.
There have been a few exceptions but no one has won playing a purely moral game. Even Father Dan said he was going to have to do a lot of penance for some of his moves in his winning season.
Morals and Big Brother should never be used in the same sentence as a possible game winning way.
This is a game of getting to the end by any means possible.
Just because your favorite person didn't make it past an eviction is no reason to try to play the morals card on the person who ultimately outplayed them.
The Survivor theme is Outwit, Outplay, Outlast. (Maybe not in that order but that's the mantra of the game.) The same theory works for any game being played with cash as the end goal.
With all my trash talk I feel I have high morals but dangle $500,000 in front of me and I don't know what I would do until the opportunity arose.

The show tonight was ok. I loved seeing Dani leave, but Jeff really got screwed in my opinion.
Jordan obviously had many different emotions running through her: shock, fear, anger, and betrayal.
While I do NOT condone cursing and personal attacks, I think Jordan acted quite normal for someone in her position.
I know they have Double Evictions every year, and it's a part of how the game goes, but I can't help but think that Jeff got the short end of the stick. He's won more comps than anyone else so far (3), and worked hard to get himself where he was. And now, everyone left in the house is pretty much benefiting from his work. Plus, he didn't really have the chance to give Jordan a proper farewell. I know it's part of the game, but I can't stop thinking that :(
And Jordan did have a good point. She gave up a phone call that she could have easily kept, just to give Shelly a few minutes of happiness. I realize it's a game and I've said it a million times, but it still doesn't seem right the more I think about it.
And kudos to Rachel for helping Jordan. She is really a good friend; it's a shame they always portray her in a negative light on the show.

Carolyn, personally I love that the first three 'vets' have gone to Jury and I hope they are followed by the last two.
ReplyDeleteI've voiced my displeasure of bringing back former players into the game many times. Let new people come through that door. Let us get to know 14 new faces each season. I'm not sure about other countries versions of Big Brother and if they do this mix of old and new but I don't think so, or if so they don't do it as much.
Each season, millions of people hope they make it to the game. This particular season there were 6 people who missed that chance.
I would have preferred to see the vets be first out so they didn't get a free vacation in a luxurious house, but it didn't happen. This is the next best thing.

ReplyDeleteHI!!! I JUST got the chance to watch the show... And laughed at the irony of the BLOG, (I'd say the show, but we know where the real action is), losing its two biggest players. I guess we're all back at square one, whichever side we're on.
ReplyDeleteExcited to now see Jordan and Rachel get to play as singles and as a team. Jordan may not be the brightest bulb but there really is a reason she won her season. She can hold her own and I'm looking forward to it.

ReplyDeleteJeff/Jordan have always supported Shelly through out this game,they even saved her last week!, it was only until her suspicious behavior had them thinking otherwise of her.
Although I do think it was in Shellys best interest to evict Jeff. I do not want her in the house anymore. It quite amazing how she is now BBF with both Porche and Kalia.

Morals or Money, huh? I suppose that's all up to the people that decide who goes home with the money. A couple of seasons ago, most of them decided that morals mattered and Jordan won. Yea, I know...Natalie took home some money too. Again, it really depends on how the people you've put out of the game (and how you've put them out of the game) look at it. I regret that I don't have a lot of hope this season with what's left.

ReplyDeleteAnd, before you all jump on that one, being genuine does not mean that she's not also playing the game or that she hasn't had moments of her own. It means she expected to have to go against Shelly at some point, but didn't expect to be stabbed from behind the way it did happen.
Shelly will now pay the consequence for her actions if Jordon gets HoH ... I know I won't cry for her, in fact I'm praying Jordan gets her chance ..

Sure is, Caro. I think I read somewhere that Survivor is more the show that rewards that bold, aggressive gameplaying whereas BB it's much more strategic and low-key. After tonight's outcome, I'm starting to think there might be something to that.

ReplyDeleteWow, what an emotional night. I hate to admit how wrapped up I have been in this game. I shed a few tears watching Jordan sob and blame herself. Broke my heart.
ReplyDeleteI understand making good game moves. But this was truly personal to Jordan. Shelly can try to play it down, but it was a big deal. I can't believe that she couldn't just leave Jordan alone for a while. And to even insinuate that what she was feeling in any way compares to what Jordan is feeling? Wow...just, wow.
A lot of people are commenting about Shelly's actions and what her daughter thinks. As parents, we think about how our behavior/actions affect our kids. It's the number one priority when you are a parent. And as a mom, I worry about Shelly's daughter. I hope she isn't being bullied or harassed because of her mom's behavior. It's sad to think Josie may lose friends. And Shelly may lose the respect of the people around her because of her behavior on a show.
ReplyDeleteThe best players always seem to be the first to go. Maybe Dani shouldn't have had an opinion or tried to make a controversial move. Maybe Jeff should have slept all day every day.
ReplyDeleteShelly is doing whatever it takes to get her where she wants to be. It's gotten her this far, and even after getting got last time, everyone still told her stuff! If she is sitting in final two, she deserves to win. I strongly dislike that she took Rachels dog. As a 48 year old woman, I would eat a couple of pieces of someones chocolate, but I wouldn't dream of taking the dog. Rachel has been on her best behaviour lately and I for one am very impressed.
I'm also impressed with Porsche and Kalia. They won comps that were anyones game, when they desperately needed to. Adam is safe with either side. Jordan will pull it together and fight or she will give up and go be with Jeff. Any way the chips fall, the game will be interesting - and we'll eventually get to see Brendon, Dani and Jeff in jury! They will all laugh at being ousted and be friends again, so we all should stay that way too :)

I don't usually respond by name to comments I don't agree with because I don't want to cause hard feelings or start a debate. But Jane's comment about Jordon's modest intellectual capacity really rubbed me the wrong way.
ReplyDeleteJordon does not speak well-especially in a group. That could be the way people speak where she's from. It could be nerves. It could be that she herself is modest-not her intellectual capacity.
There are different ways of measuring intelligence. When people allow her to talk without interrupting her and actually listen to what she has to say, she is actually quite smart. As far as her child like quality, when it comes to human nature Jordon, like most children, is wise beyond her years.
If being smart, strong and intelligent means being like Shelly or Dani, I'd rather be stupid and childlike.

ReplyDeleteNow...on the Shelly contravene. We all know lying, cheating & backstabbing is part of the game. Sometimes these things get taken to the limit & folks get hurt. My reason for disliking Shelly now is her ability to expound all of her virtues as a wife, mother, & BB player. Tell us & everyone in the house how honest she is, that she would never lie, call people names, back stab anyone they turn around & do it tenfold! Her disdain for Rachel is unfounded. She had the chance to give Rachel her dog back & bald face lied that she didn't take it. She's lied so much that I truly think she believes her on lies. I really don't care at this point who wins as long as it isn't Shelly. Like I said, I'm gonna give my America's vote to Rachel. I'm truly impressed w/the way she's evolved since Brendan left. I think as long as she & Jordan stick together they'll make it thru this & have a good few weeks wither it's in the house or the jury house.
Wow, I am so proud of Jordan. She completely stood up to Shelly. I couldn't believe how Shelly went at Jordan, completely unprovoked by Jordan. And to keep denying that she has/took Rachel's puppy. "I'm 41." That just goes to show that she knows how immature and petty it is to take people's things.

ReplyDeleteThe Natalie you are talking about was on J&J's season. She did play dirty. That's why she lost. But the main difference was she didn't form the deep personal relationships with people so she didn't end up hurting people the way Shelly has.
BTW-I'm sure Shelly's best friend Cassi will be happy to know Shelly finally decided to make a newbie alliance after she helped cause Cassi to be evicted.
ReplyDeleteHere's a minority opinion: I was wondering since I have never seen Jordan knowingly lie (as she did when she tried to cover up the fact that Jeff threw the Veto that sent Brendon home) before in 2 seasons, if she simply received the reward for her earlier actions. I always thought Jordon was special because of how good her heart was. I was unhappy to see how quickly she took to lying. If she had told Jeff to tell Rachel the truth would the eventual result have been any worse?

ReplyDeleteA few weeks back Jeff and Jordon thought Shelly had thrown the have/have not comp. Shelly was hurt and crying because what J&J thought of her was the one thing that mattered more than anything in the game. J&J both apologized and comforted her and kept checking to make sure she was o.k.
All Shelly did was stand in Jordon's face and justify her own actions in an attempt to make herself feel better. Not Jordon-herself. I hope Shelly does start to feel bad and I hope that Jeff and Jordon do not forgive her.

Falling madly in love with Rachel watching her rebuild Jordan is the perfect way to phrase it. I feel the exact same way. And Jordan is so hurt and such a sweet little button, it's painful to watch. Shelly was totally antagonizing her and Shelly was a mess only a week ago, with Jordan building her up. And Shelly goes out to the kitchen saying she'd never act like that. OH MY GOD SHELLY EW to you.

ReplyDeleteI agree that with the comments about the unleveled playing field with vets verses newbie houseguest. Vets clearly assumed lead roles in this competition, used newbies to vote their way while deeming them "floaters" and backstabbed each other in the process. If only, in the beginning the newbies had stuck together but remember Shellie and Khalia voted with the vets and power they could have collectively used was lost. As for now, I am not buying this new love for Rachel. What choice does she have at this point? While she may genuinely feel bad for Jordan, while she is filling her ears about the rotteness of others she should be experiencing some remorse of her own. She and Brendon sold out Jeff and Jordan earlier to Danielle--remember? Jeff and Jordan sold out Brendon--to Danielle remember? They all have abandoned their alliance at some point. Further, I do not believe for one second that Rachel would not have aligned with Danielle for her own safety if she did not have such contempt for her. Her contempt for people has always trumped her game moves. As for Shelley, I agree with most of the comments, while I understand she is there like everyone else to play a game in her own interest, she did not have to constantly make moral declarations about her character verses others, lie about being content with making it to the end with J/J winning and then flip with such heartlessness at the end. I think she has lied so much she can't distinguish the truth. She can't have it both ways. I applaud the newbies that are making bold moves and acquiring victories in the end. I believe Khalia is the only one that has not back stabbed anyone, has stayed true to her word, won
(2) HOH competitions and made a bold move when it counted. Although she has been critized for wisely seeking advice from veterans she took her eviction nomination in stride, never spoke badly about Danielle although Danielle did not return the favor. Her biggest fault is accepting smiling faces and confiding in them. Since she is least controversial television will probably side with ratings and follow the current trend of rewarding people with bad behavior.
