Rachel: Why??? Why does she wanna personally dig at me constantly? I did nothing to her. I was nice to her. The whole entire speech was bad remarks all directed towards me.

Rachel: What's the point of her saying you're catty and this is the best for the house?! WTF?? Who does this girl think she is?

Rachel: I've tried to be nice to people and play a good social game.. What's the point.. She, as a competitor, feels the need to target other competitors? What's the point?

Rachel goes on.. Shelly recommends she go upstairs to talk to Kalia and get her answers. Rachel goes to the kitchen area.. and airs publically... Adam, Lawon, Jeff and Jordan are present.
Rachel: (to Jordan) I'm gonna go talk to Kalia.
Jordan: No!! You're mad. You stay down here!
Jeff: Woah! And what should I do?
Rachel says she wants to go upstairs and confront her. Jeff encourages her.
Jeff: I want people to step up and win and make their own decisions. I'm done making speeches and trying to lead. People gotta lead themselves.
Jeff's gears up and gets on another tear... Spark up your feeds, folks. This must be seen. It's coming so hard and fast, I can't get even half of it. And, frankly, I don't know how much longer they can keep Rachel from going up to HoH and going ballistic. For the moment, smashing coconuts is a good way to take out their aggression.

okay, I was on the Dani/Kalia train at the beginning of today - but already I am now beginning to SHIFT! I CAN'T BELIEVE IT! I'm definitely not a fan of Rachel, and Jeff/Jordan were getting on my nerves for awhile... so seriously, who do I have left to root for?! Shelly the snake? no. Adam, the lost puppy? no. Porche the vain lapdog? no.

Kalia and Dani are just being TOO mean. I know that Rachel is pretty annoying, dramatic, and has been extremely catty - but two wrongs don't make a right! It's quite uncomfortable to watch them put her down so much... and to rope in her best friend in the house, Porche (who I completely don't respect at all) and just rip on her 24/7 is so distasteful and nasty.
Dani, Kalia - you guys need to not have such an ego. I was happy when you won because I was bored of seeing the vets walk all over the brain-dead, worshipping newbies... but now YOU GUYS are getting on my nerves.
Sigh! I just love this game, I just so love all the twists and turns. All the drama, heartache, torture and mayhem. Yes I am hooked.

Best case is whichever one loses still doesn't get evicted and then Brendon comes back and let the games begin.
Truth be told I only want to see Brendon back to shut up Dani and Kalia and the nonstop bashing. For Rachel's game, sanity and reputation I think she is so much more likeable on her own like this. If she wants to recover her reputation without Brendon at her side might be the best way to do it.

Anything the Vets / HasBeens get at this point is payback for their attitude during the first 3 HoH reigns. I'm lighting candles that Dani gets HoH again and even the score 3-3.
I think I am completely alone in this but I've been alone before.
Look at me already planning my perfect game for next week. I need to stay in this week.
I'd love to see Jeff go this week but with the hope that it's Dom coming back I have to hope Rachel because an eviction will crack her and it should be an easy win for Dom or whoever gets the votes to come back to get back in the game.

ReplyDeleteI love this seasons cast! It's been drama and verbal venom but I still can't say I really dislike any of em and that's a first for me. (well now that Brendon's out anyway. The way he seems to have diminished Rachel is nauseating)
That being said, I am team Dani all over the place. I'd really enjoy if Jeff went this week over Rachel. If she gets the boot this soon after Brendon was ousted, that poor lady will never hear the end of it albeit in a very passive aggresive ego melting way. I'd love for her to stick around til Dani and Kalia get rid of the rest of the rif raff so she can potentially find her sparkly vegas self again and maybe, just maybe get a better balance in her relationship.

@Sparklin I think Dani will spew whatever she has to at whoever she needs to in order to manipulate her way to a win. I think she wants out of ED's shadow and wants a win on her own terms, which is understandable I guess.
ReplyDeleteI think BB players really hate it when someone as nice and sweet as Jordan wins the game. It just goes to show that it is possible to play the game with integrity and come out of not losing your own self in the process. I would imagine that really irks people who didn't make it number one spot as they figure they worked harder for it.
Seeing all that the BB house does to people, maybe retaining your niceness and decency is actually the hardest task to do and therefore puts Jordan up there as a superb player of the game.
Brendan for me, I want to see everyone.....gasp!!!!
ReplyDeleteI find it quite funny that Dani has only lied once in this game. She has made quite a few assumptions about what other people were going to do. Who their targets would be. How they really feel about other HGs or the game itself. She has stated those assumptions as fact, as if she overheard the evil plan or she's privy to other people's innermost thoughts. It's never "I think" with her, it's always "I know".

ReplyDeleteWhat a day! It's rare to see Jordan have a meltdown. It broke my heart to see her genuinely hurting. She has been nothing but kind to these people. Don't know what happened and I guess we won't know until Sunday.
Jeff was right about one thing ...Dani is using Kalia. If Rachel wins veto, Jeff is evicted and comes back, Kalia has two strong enemies in the house. That's never good. It will take the target off Dani, at least for a while, which is exactly what she wants!
I also wanted to mention that I am seeing some rumblings on twitter about Kalia breaking the rules by telling Jeff outright that he is going up. Thoughts?

She's got the newbies wrapped around her finger (good game play on her part) but there is no need to rehash the same old venom constantly...or at least be amusing about it (a la Britney).
I sway from week to week and usually am for the underdog unless that underdog is useless like Lawon - personally he was a waste of a house guest. He pretty much told Kalia he was useless but keep him in and he would be her spy...grrr!

If Shelly really had the mothering instinct and strength of character she constantly brags about and if she really cared about being a positive role model for her daughter she's not doing a very good job. So that no one jumps down my throat-I'm not saying it's Shelly's job to be their mother. But she keeps reminding everyone that she is a mother and that the most important thing is making sure she is a good example and that she doesn't make herself look bad. Not only is she sitting with the mean girls and listening to everything they say, she's adding her nasty little comments as well. I hope that she told people not to let her daughter watch the show.

I thought Rachel enjoyed kicking people when they were down last year (Kristin). She did the same thing this year (Cassi). Apparently once a kicker always a kicker.
I thought Dani was constantly kicked when she was down on season 8. One would assume that, knowing how it feels, she wouldn't do the same thing to someone else. Apparently once you've been kicked you kick other people even harder.
Grendon, I totally agree with you about Shelly. And I will add that normally I have no problem with cattiness, mean girls, saracasm, because those make up at least three of my personalities. But do it upfront and own it. Don't sit there and say you've never lied in this game, etc etc. And try to act like you are the epitome of all that is good and light. I can't respect that when you don't practice what you preach.

ReplyDeleteAnywho... I still have hope for a Dani, Kalia, Rachel alliance.. I love JJ generally but they are as useless as anyone else... I think they have a chance to make good with Rachel by keeping her safe and Rachel has the chance to regen herself.
I don't think Kalia is a puppet so much as both her and Dani have the same enemy both wanted her and Dani out.
Jeff is correct. Kalia put him up because she'd love it if he went home if Rachel wins the POV. She tried to feed Jeff that line of bs about how he was not the target and she needs him to play in the veto, but he correctly didn't buy it.

Uh Kalia you might want to be a little more understanding about reputations once outside the house. Not many people leave the house without being tarnished.

The two happiest and smartest people in the house are Adam and Lawon, they don't do anything but no one is mad at them either. Lawon and Adam for final two, lol.

ReplyDeleteI definitely agree with you about Kalia talking out of both sides of her mouth. If her target was really Rachel she would have put up someone like Shelly as the pawn. That would have ensured Rachel to be voted out. J&J might have voted to keep Rachel, possibly Porsche. At worst it would have been a tie.
With Jeff the votes are too risky. A lot of people are afraid of him. Some consider him a threat strategically, some are just threatened by him. Plus, Dani may convince Kalia that Jeff actually is her target.
She should have been honest. She should have just said, "Look, I don't like either one of y'all MFers. I don't care which one of y'all leaves. Just make sure one of y'all gets the hella on up out a my house."

I have never had the live feeds because I work all week and have two children who demand all my attention when I get home. However, I just couldn't stand it this season.
