    Whohooooo Sunday Show!

    Today on the feeds, Shelly was released from solitary confinement and received her phone call from home which lasted 3 minutes. Josie got the teacher she wanted! Sweetness! Shelly has had a resurgence in her mood.

    Shelly relayed to Dani and Jeff a conversation she had with Brendon about him and Rachel. She was pointing out to Brendon that right now Rachel can spew her venom at other houseguests (like Shelly) but when they get out, he's going to be the only one that she can spew venom at. Soooo basically Shelly gave him plenty of ammo to use against her in the likely event that Brendon goes up tomorrow as a replacement nom.

    hey all, I'm sitting in a hotel on day 3 at disneyland and boy am I beat. Waiting for my daughter and her friend to come back so we can head on home. Thankfully the hotel has free wireless so I can watch BB on the link you so nicely provide.

    I wanted to post early to try to clarify some things.

    It could be the paranoia of the game, but I'm beginning to feel that people may think I defend Jeff & Jordon no matter what they do and criticize Brendon & Rachel for the same actions.

    My personal feeling and bias is that I prefer J&J. I am not, nor have I ever been, a hardcore JeJo fan although it may seem that way to some. Based on the last 3 weeks they were the ones I felt myself rooting for. I like Adam, I don't have a problem with Kalia and I give Shelly kudos for the game she was playing until she overplayed.

    I am not blind to the fact that J&J have faults. Jeff sometimes says hurtful things and has a bit of a bully attitude. Jordon's halo sometimes shows signs of tarnish. I hated the way they treated Russell and Michelle in their season and was not rooting for either of them to be in final 2 by the end. I have seen good qualities in Rachel when Brendon was gone and Brendon was tolerable last year when Rachel was gone.

    When I am trying to look from the outside without bias, I try to take into account what the player's know and not what they assume. From Dani's perspective, she has 5 people she would like to evict but she can only evict one. I understand why Brendon seems like the overall best target. From Shelly's perspective she tried to keep Rachel in the house. Yes, she had her own reasons for doing so. But she feels as though she got no credit for it nor any thanks from Rachel.

    No one can make it through an entire season without eventually voting out or nominating a member of their own alliance unless their alliance only includes 2 people. No one can make it to the end without a lie. Dan probably came the closest. I don't like to see alliance members turn on each other before they have to but it happens almost every season. So I give them all more leeway in the BB world than I would give a person out in the real world.

    So, on a personal level I prefer Jeff and Jordon. I prefer the way they relate to each other and the way they relate to other people. On a game level I prefer Jeff and Jordon. I prefer the way they usually act when they are making deals or campaigning. Yes, both couples will sacrifice each other to keep themselves safe. In that aspect they are the same. Watching it unfold and play out in front of me, there is something about the two couples that is very different.

    Right after that Rachel noticed several large birds circling overhead. From the description, I automatically thought of vultures. (They are much more common than a lot of people think. Even in populated areas.)

    Rachel thought crows but Brendon nixed that idea. Brendon thought eagles but Rachel said they don't fly in groups. Then Rachel said hawks (which is what a lot of people confuse vultures for) but she thought they were solitary birds also (which they normally are.) Rachel finally thought that they might be vultures but decided they don't fly in groups either.

    She almost had it. They do fly in groups. I would be willing to bet that her last guess was correct. And really, what would be more fitting than to have vultures circling over the BB house in search of the dead and dying.

    Thanks for the "google it" advice on the parentheses. I did, and I think I'm clear now. Period inside the parens and outside the quotes, unless it is a complete sentence.

    Dishchicks:

    I've just to commend you for what a great job you do with this site. I've perused a few others and yours is by far the best. Most of the others just paraphrase the conversations instead of typing them verbatim like you do. The verbatim words give a whole lot more context to how the HG's thoughts are processing. Thanks so much!!

    Also, thanks for keeping things clean and pleasant.

    Now I'm waffling on whether I think it is in Dani's best interest to put Brendon up or not. I was thinking in terms of jury votes, but I forgot that a few weeks in the jury house decompressing takes a lot of the personal spin off the Hg's decisions and they often vote purely on best gameplay, winning most comps, biggest moves, etc.

    Maybe she should get rid of him now before he goes on an HOH/POV immunity run and endear herself to the house by booting him not once but twice. On the other hand, Jeff will be harder and harder to get out and far more of a threat in a final two situation.

    What to do, what to do!!

    Heck, she should just pull a Kalia and evict one of her own - like Kalia!! lol

    Interesting story on 60 Minutes right now. I worked for Weatherford 30 years ago. They went Chpt. 11 or 13 when the oil bust hit and I left and we moved to Dallas before my job in Oil Field Products and Equipment closed down... if it did... I never knew for sure. I took my stock, sold and moved before the stock went down and I lost it all.

    I knew they were back in business but I didn't know about the Zurich thing until just now.

    Weatherford had some equipment on the BP rig when the oil spill happened.

    Just FYI about me. Guess I should stop and read everything before I make more comments. I might be missing out on winning that tshirt.

    I just love the way you explained the Brenchel vs JeJo dynamic and what you meant. I could not have said it any better and it so echoed my own sentiments.

    No couple or game player is ever perfect but better to be at the positive end of the dynamic (like Jeff and Jordan even with their warts) rather than the negative end (like Brendon and Rachel with their arrogance, lack of tolerance of each other and the rest of the house).

    I sorta got the sense that someone had somehow criticized you or something. I hope that wasn't the case. I love this site because we are held to a high standard of behavior (thanks Caro/Genie) yet are free to express our opinions.

    I liked when Lydia was on the show. You always knew when they were playing loose with the DR edits and timeline because she constantly changed her hair so it gave it away.

    Since I never really watch the show during the party this is typical for me. I comment without knowing what is going on anyway. I'll wait for 60 Minutes to be over. I always watch that anyway. I just need to hit the DVR button to get the show when it actually starts because I usually watch a second time to catch things I miss. I found out about the link too late to see it from the start anyway.

    Patti and Genie and anyone who may have asked that I missed. The foot isn't doing as great as I hoped so I'll be going to my Primary tomorrow to follow up. I have to be ready for a busy schedule the next two weekends. Next week for regular shows and a benefit and the following week for Southern Decadence 2011. I can't miss that. I haven't been decadent in so long it's going to be like I'm a born-again Virgin, which I am. My club, my rules. ;-p~

    As for my drugs, I already had so many better ones than what the ER gave me I didn't even bother getting them filled. Really.. Lortab 5mg? I have twice and 4 times that in my magic bag of goodies. My sister wanted me to fill them and give them to her to sell, but that's something I will NOT do and chewed her out for even thinking about it.

    Wow with the edits, I played back the Shelly convo and she seemed to be dancing around the final 3 with B/R just to avoid really answering. Her intent to have Rachel believe the alliance was very clear. So in some ways they were both lying and both telling the truth.

    For Shelly to go so overboard though speaks to something else. She sits on her high horse and holds others to standards that she says she holds herself to but doesn't.

    By the way, if Brendon is the replacement nominee, Jeff/Jordan might be better off keeping Adam, and aligning with him and Shelly.

    Rachel will then only be used by Dani/Kalia/Porsche until she is useless and will be discarded.

    J+J+Adam+Shelly have 4 against Dani and the rest (including Rachel) still 4. And Rachel may decide to still be with J+J team anyway. The least of 2 evils as far as she'd be concerned...

    So keeping Brendan over Adam may not necessarily be the smartest move by J+J... just my two and a half cents...

    I don't know Shelly's exact quote in the 'final 3' convo with B&R. It was just more of a normal campaigning session when someone's on the block. B&R saying what they needed and Shelly asking what they could offer her. Then everyone kind of left it up in the air. They never promised Shelly a final 3 and she never promised them a vote to the best of my recollection. From all the lies that have floated around the house I have no idea why any part of that conversation was important enough to argue over. It didn't really prove Shelly was a liar and didn't really make Rachel look like a liar.

    BTW-Kalia looked really nice in the black outfit she had on at the beginning of the show. It was very slimming. And I think her and Rachel both look prettier when they wear their hair down and straighten it.
