Rachel won the HoH Comp!
To reiterate the info we got during the live show:
- There will be another Pandora's Box, and it'll air on Sunday's episode, so chances are excellent it'll happen tomorrow.
- There will be another eviction on Wednesday, bringing the HG count from 5 to 4.
- On Thursday's Live Show, The Final 4 will become the Final 3, and the 1st part of the Final 3 HoH will begin.... drumroll please... ENDURANCE on the Live Feeds!!!
When the feeds came back, all the HGs were coughing and hacking... but Rachel had a smile on her face... Then Adam was kind enough to offer a simple, "Good job," to which Rachel replied , "Thanks," and tadaa, we have a winner.
We join them a few minutes later...

Someone pinch me please. I have become a stone cold huge Rachel fan wanting to see her get the big win. I just love this Rachel with all the spunk and competitiveness but also who focuses on her social game.

ReplyDeleteI really enjoyed Porsches HOH blog, she was very classy and hardly conceited at all. I was very impressed. And she def. looked great tonight.
For all the times that Adam has stuck true to his word, I think he has to be a little hurt by Kalias vote. And she sorta dug her own grave by saying they were undecided up to the last minute. He'll know it isn't true ~ and especially after Shellys speech. That was just very odd.
I know Rachel is jumping up and down and screaming...inside :)
A celebrity in the house wouldn't be bad for the house, unless he/she is someone really annoying I guess, so Pandora's box would have to be bad for the HOH. It would have to sound good though or why would you take it. This shall be interesting.

I am a huge Jordan fan, but I have to say that I think Jordan sounded kinda condescending towards Rachel when Julie asked her that question. Didn't sound to me like she's real thrilled with her alliance with Rachel, and I'm really surprised by that after seeing them together this week. If the question had been asked to Rachel, I think she would have been a lot more sincere towards Jordan. Oh well, still love Jordan, but I hope her comments (Or lack of positivity) don't make Rachel question their alliance/friendship.

yay Rachel! I am officially on that train Sweet Steph! Rachel has really proved herself in this season and I am so proud of her. I think she is probably very nice in "real" life. IMO she deserves to win it all. With Jordan in 2nd and Adam in third. Jordan and Rachel has been true to their alliance from day one. Adam flipped for a bit but I chalk that up to "losing his head" for a bit. Now he is back on track!

ReplyDeleteJordans response to Julie regarding Rachel didn't come off very nice, but, she did explain to Rachel that we would understand her humour. That she says nice things about her in dr and we do know she really likes Rachel and that she sticks up for her. It seems like Rachel is a little hurt and Jordan is a little worried but they have been great at talking things out and working through them. Hopefully they do that tonight ~ oh, up in HOH room...YES!!

I'm REALLY happy that work cancelled my OT so that now I'm home in my jammies watching tonight's show on the DVR, eye balling the feed and reading the blogs, lol..... and praying that my deployed son will have a chance to call his Mama. ReplyDeleteI was a big Rachel fan last year and have been so all this year. I agree with others who say she is misunderstood and think she gets blamed for stuff she never said or did. But....I am sooooooooo sick of Adam!! OMG....he actually said he would be happy to go home this week "because I'll have a chance to fight to stay" "I didn't get to fight this week" well, yeah you did Adam...you fought for about 3 minutes on that dummy!!! I totally agree with ED who said Adam is the most annoying house guest this year.

ReplyDeleteOkay, none of us like to watch the liars lie, especially at this point when it is so familiar that it becomes transparent. I suppose this is true because somewhere deep in our consciousness we are still disturbed because we can separate right from wrong. Of course I am referring to those of us who are not so jaded to think that this is a seminar on "Entertainment Through Lying". You can tell you are still one of those who prefer the truth if part of you are still pulling for Jordan. HOWEVER, and I do need to capitalize that segue, Jordan has only come up on two situations where she needed to lie, and NONE of these were to get her off the block. In both instances (one was covering for Jeff about his throwing the corn hole when Rachel asked her, and the other was covering for Shelly about something she said that also amounted to insignificance) we have seen Jordan coolly and smoothly lie. I often wonder what degree of fabrication she would rise to if her BB life were on the line. And yet, I also wonder if even that would taint her because of the child-like innocence that pervades her soul. And if THAT is true, does it amount to my valuing sincerity above truth? And how can both exist within the same being without that being being bothered beyond mere minor disturbance? I have not heard her even ONCE complain about the necessity to lie. Indeed she expounded one evening on how truly necessary it was in this setting. Those words from this being is pure cacophony to this person's ears.

Did Rachel screw up? Now she can't compete in the most important HOH and can't vote this week. She has opened the door for the Newbies by not letting Adam win. Even though the rules, twists and competitions have been rigged to give her an advantage she may not be able to get out of this one.
