BBDish Breast Cancer Fundraiser
Happy October, BB Lovers & Happy Breast Cancer Awareness month! As I announced on BB13 Finale Day, we're doing a BBDish Reality Star/Fan Breast Cancer Fundraiser!
All monies will go directly into the account of the Breast Cancer 501c3 charity "Save Our Sisters," and since this is a zero overhead fundraiser for a charity with no one on a payroll, 100% of every penny received will actually go for it's intended purpose: Savin' the Boobies!
One thing has changed: the list of reality stars participating has grown tremendously!!
As I mentioned in post on finale day, this is a Chance Drawing for Phone Calls from your favorite Big Brother Alumni, and here's how it's going to work:
***When purchasing your tickets for the Chance Drawing, please specify which Reality Star you are interested in talking to! The HGs I've spoken to who have committed to fan phonecalls are:
As the daughter of a 28 year Breast Cancer Survivor, this cause is very near and dear to my heart, and the success of this event is so important to me. I really hope you'll all participate, buying at least 1 ticket for the chance drawing. Frankly, I hope you'll buy dozens! But if everyone buys just 1... think of how much good we can do! Think how much good THEY can do! Meet Team SoS Miami! A handful of em anyway. :)
Their mission? Educating the public about breast health awareness in a positive, proactive way through dragon boating; promoting a healthy, active lifestyle and providing organized opportunities for physical fitness, wellness education, and psycho-social empowerment among Breast Cancer Survivors and their supporters; serving as role models; mentoring those newly diagnosed with breast cancer; assisting in providing breast cancer screening and treatment to underprivileged women in our community; raising funds for breast cancer research and other breast cancer affiliated women's services.
Sounds pretty awesome right? :0) Well, they are pretty awesome!

The fundraiser will run the entire month of October, which is Breast Cancer awareness month!

- The Reality Stars are donating 5 Minute Phone Calls to Fans, as well as signed memorabilia, in some cases.
- You choose which reality star or stars you'd like to talk to when you purchase your tickets.
- You'll be entering a Chance Drawing with single tickets for $5, 5 tickets for $20, and 15 tickets for $50.
- 1 ticket gets you 1 chance at a phone/skype call.
- All proceeds go directly to Team SoS Miami, an All Breast Cancer Survivor Dragon Boat Racing Team that not only races, but also has a large focus on breast health education, as well as providing mammograms and related therapies for those with breast cancer who are under-insured or lower income.
