A couple of my questions going in... How will Janelle's game be different as a married woman? Her flirt game was huge in the past... Also, how well will she weather the inevitable baby critics, and will she address it head on from inside the house? Coming in as a Rachel fan, will Janelle clash with Britney? Will Boogie have game? Seriously. Not being mean. He's never played the game without Dr. Will for more than a couple days. Will Father Dan have any new swimming students? ;)
As mentors, if that is indeed the case, each of these vets has such a different style of game. I wonder if the newbie HGs got to select their own Vets... If you were in the BB14 house, which of these BB Alumni would YOU choose to as a mentor? So many questions... Answers tonight!
This is going to be a fantastic season of Big Brother.. I just know it! The casting choices are superb! The house decs look amazing! The producers are reaching out to the fanbase! Production is staffed by people who really want to be there!

My daughter's name is Joella but we call her Jojo (she's 4)so she is really excited there is a Jojo so we want to like her but I had to check a serious eye roll after reading her bio. As I was watching the CBS news this morning they had Juile Chen on,,Kent asked about Janelle and Boogie and Julie said,,Oh no I cannot confirm what BB guest are coming back..Kent said,Well you need to keep an eye on the CBS site because they already posted,Janelle,Boogie,Dan and Britney,,lol Julie's expression was priceless.

Hmmmm If I had to choose a mentor I think I would have to pick Dan. He was pretty level headed and he was a well respected player.
ReplyDeleteWhile I love Janelle I think I would pass on her. She is a fierce competitor and I think the other mentors would go against her players. She also might be a little disliked due to the fact she just had a baby. I don't really think she should even be in the house but I'm looking past it and won't even think about it. :-/
I would definitely pass on Boogie. I have no idea what his game play would be like without Will. I wouldn't want to risk it.
With Brit I would be a little apprehensive as well. She was kinda mean at times. And I feel a TV only HG might be turned off to her a little.
8 more hours! I've never been this excited for a BB season to start.
Happy BB Premier day!! I have warned my family that I will be out of commission for the next 3 months. I can't wait for the feeds so we can see what the dynamic in the house is after almost a week in the house. Woop Woop!!!

I notice ppl talking bad about Janelle leaving her child. I don't know if I could have done it, but you know fathers do it all the time and don't get all this bad talk. I give her props and I think it will give her more power in her game.

ReplyDeleteI didn't start watching BB until season 11, so out of all the returning hg's, I only know Brittney. I think she started out really nasty in her season, but she did get better as time went on. If she's more like she was towards the end of her season, I think she'll be a great addition to the house. And her diary sessions were always hilarious, so they'll be fun to watch!

Hey Carolyn. I had the same questions. I was thinking maybe they put the houseguests into 4 teams and the vets will mentor them as teams??? I totally agree about Boogie and wonder how Janie will do.

I would pick Dan, I think. I have this tremendous talent at being indecisive.
It will be very interesting indeed to see Janelle in the house now as compared to before.
I know she has her critics, but women face a double standard when it comes to being away from a young baby.
Would I make the same choice? No.
But I'm not going to judge her ability as a parent either.
I'm just so stinking excited, like a little kid trying to get through Christmas eve. :-)
I'm going to take my daughter to Madagascar right now. She's also a big BB fan!

SOOOOOOOOOOOO excited. I'm half tempted to either put my kids to bed at 7 and risk them being up at 330/4am or let them stay up til after bb is over and risk super crabs in the morning. Decisions, decisions. :)
ReplyDeleteIf I had to choose a mentor it would probably be Dan. He's my kind of guy and I doubt his game plan would be much different than it was before. Boogie would be too big a risk as no one really knows his type of play. Britney cracks me up but not the most strategic. Janelle is a great competitor but I think her mind will be at home with her baby and not as focused as she was in the past.
Got my big brother shirt on that I won from bbdish last year! Can't wait for 9pm!!!

I’m very excited for Big Brother to finally premiere tonight! I have been patiently waiting and it’s finally going to happen! I thank my coworker, at Dish, every time I watch an episode, for suggesting this show to me in the first place, a couple of years back. I don’t get to watch it at home tonight because I’m going to be at work, but thankfully my Hopper is going to record every episode with PrimeTime Anytime. It’ll be interesting to see how all of the new house guests react to the returning guests to the house, and I do really wonder how it’ll all play out.

I am pretty happy with who the "mentors" are. Boogie, not as much as the others, but maybe he will surprise us. I did watch that show about opening the restaurant with him and he came across as a smart business man (most of the time) so maybe without Dr Will, we will see a different side of him. If they are "playing"
ReplyDeleteI have to say I am pretty biased about who I would like to see make it to the end already. I loved Janelle. She played a really good game TWICE. On that note, so did Britney, but because of her 2 efforts, I am leaning more towards Jedi Janie. As for Dan and Boogie, they both one it once before. As with every year, the new HGs will have to give me a week or so to get "to know them".

I was going to apply to be in the house this summer but didn't since I've been watching since season 3 (kicking myself now because I LOVED Britney and Janelle and would have LOVED to have met them!!!
