ReplyDeleteHi everyone! This is only my second comment of the season, been hectic around home with my one grandma breaking her pelvic bone and moving her into a memory care facility and my other grandma being in the hospital for COPD.
I really think Dan has set himself up perfectly. I can see him letting Dani win this comp and Ian winning the second comp because then he doesn't have to make the decision of who to take. Either way he is going to F2.

I think Dan's comments to Dani (first about his "new book" about the master learning from the student) and about her looking down at her hands and not seeing any blood and him up to his elbows, I think was more for Shanes benefit ( and the jury) than for her benefit. Basically what he just did was to say it was her idea and she took him off the block to get rid of Shane. Whether or not that goes over Shane's head or not remains to be seen, but I am pretty sure Brit will pick up on it. Jenn too probably.

ReplyDeleteThat was a sad showing for 1st part HOH. What happened to the days of ED hanging in there for hours? Dan said they started at 8:15 so they barely made it an hour. Next year I think they need to be muzzeled so they can't make deals on the fly! Still hoping Ian can pull out a win.

ReplyDeleteJudging from conversations and attitudes during the competition and immediately after, I'm thinking BB might have separated the houseguests after the live show was taped, did DR sessions so they could get the authentic, unmisted reactions, then sent them out for the comp. Regardless, Dan's Mist is impenetrable... I do dig this season.

ReplyDeleteI fully believe that if Ian makes the Final Two, he will win - even against Dan. The problem is, I think both Dan and Dani know that so neither of them will take him to the Final Two...So Ian needs to win the next two stages of the Final HOH Comp...and he is seriously doubting himself right now. I just heard him speculating that this entire season is an elaborate prank on him because there is no way this could be happening. He's a smart kid, has studied the game, and is STILL a little "mist-i-fied" by Dan's game play.

Hi all, Rob Tan, BB15 will supply contestants with a new drug. It helps prevent "misting". I wonder how many times Danielle has checked her butt in the mirrors - quite funny. BB14 is winding down, a memorable season for sure.

ReplyDeleteSo true. That was one of the most memorable Endurance Challenges of all BB History. I count that one in my Top 3 and probably #1. The other two?
Season 6 when Kaysar came back but gave into the pilot's wife from Dallas after holding onto a button until Daylight BBT, then trying to make a deal just so she could get her pics and letter. Then she stabbed Kaysar in the back and nominated him and got him voted out.
The other? Was it Season 5? The season won by Drew Daniel. The all night standing on a platform and Diane won in the same hours after daylight. People were actually standing there peeing on themselves throughout the night. I recall Jase whipping it out. He was the only one not to actually wet his pants.
Those were intense comps. I don't think the players of the last few season could survive any of those endurance comps. Now I think Allison Grodner plans the endurance so that it ends before BBAD. I don't recall ever seeing a comp run over into that time slot.
Noooo, Grodner never sticks her fingers in the Big Brother cake mix.

ReplyDeleteI've also been rewatching old seasons...right now it's Season 8. Always loved Evel Dick. That was the first season I got the feeds and fully understood the game. The ED/Zach Endurance was the greatest. I think that ED had a mist to battle Dan's. He could be a complete a-hole to someone, tell them he was being an a-hole, and still get them to do what he wanted them to do. I think the two of them together would be like BB porn. Throw in Dr. Will and Boogie and I think our brains might explode.

ReplyDeleteBB8 was the first saason I had the feeds. Loved ED's Pranks. He would rubber band the hand squirter in the kitchen sink so when someone turned on the water they would get squirted. Loved it.

ReplyDeleteNotice how calm Dani is after her total "jaw dropping shock" (wink wink)? When Dan held his funeral she cried for hour upon hours, even after he told her he was just working the room. I truly believe she is sad to see Shane go (we all know how over the moon she was about him) but she also clearly had to hear and know what Dan was going to do.

I aim to please also but sometimes things get so intense and explosive that your aim is worthless. It just goes all over the place... messy, messy, messy.

I'm going to sit back and eat while I pay more attention to the feeds for a bit. Night 2 of Chicken Fajitas ... YUMMMY! Wish I had shrimp though, or maybe beef. All 3 would be perfect. 1 of each.

Is it my imagination or did Danielle's sniffleous get louder when she heard the cameras going in for a close up? They do talk about hearing the camera sounds so it tells them they are being filmed closely.
