PoV Spoiler & Aftermath

Good afternoon, BB Lovers!  What a day! What a day!  America's Vote to Nominate the 3rd HG has really set the house in a tizzy, especially since they don't know it was us.  Paranoia and mayhem are at an all time high on the live feeds, just the way the good BB intended. ;-)

The feeds went to trivia at 1:30pm, signaling the start of the PoV Comp.  As soon as the feeds come back, we'll have the spoiler and aftermath here in this post.

4pm
Feeds are Back!
ELISSA has won the PoV!

Playing for PoV today are Judd as HoH, Kaitlin, Aaryn and Elissa as nominees, and McCrae and Helen as the 2 players Judd picked to play.  McCrae wants to win this one badly, so he can not use it, keep the noms the same, and keep Amanda safe.  They had a big scare last night, due to Aaryn spreading a rumor that Amanda was going up as the MVP nom.  The feeling around the house is anyone but Aaryn.. as she is the stated target. But every HG in the house will be much more at ease if Elissa doesn't win, since they have no idea who the next in line for the MVP renom is..
~*~

Rewards/Punishments:
  • McCrae got $5,000
  • Elissa cannot play for PoV next week
  • Aaryn has to dye her hair brown? --she mentioned this in the shower, but later said she got NO punishments.
  • Judd -Solitary Confinement
  • Helen has an 8pm curfew.
  • Kaitlin -No known reward or punishment as of 5:35pm.

4:00pm
Cam 3/4 Howard, Candice and Spencer went immediately to the Have Not Room to begin plotting what they hope will be Amanda's demise.  Howard is afraid he may be the one to go up.

Cam 1/2 Aaryn hopped into the shower first, afraid whatever they did during the comp would dye her hair brown? Or that's a punishment  Helen and McCrae are waiting their turns..

  1. I have seen some complaints about the vote being unfair because people didn't understand the rules and in the next breath that Aaryn would have got the most votes if she hadn't been on the block. This makes no sense.

If people were 'accidentally' voting for MVP, then Aaryn's nomination affects nothing because she would not have been in the running for MVP. If people were correctly voting for the 3rd nominee, it stands to reason that Elissa had enough votes to at least be in the top 3.

Regardless, at this point I don't care which of the 3 goes home although I personally think Kaitlin has gotten off way too easy. I am just waiting for POV to be over so I can plan my night accordingly. Will I be doing my happy dance or will I be pulling out my black mourning dress and a bottle of wine?

  2. Carolyn - you would be my favorite person of the day if the next words you type are "Elissa wins POV" :)

As I posted in an ealier thread, if Elissa is going to be my favorite player then she is going to have to overcome adversity and find ways to keep herself in the game right?

  3. Good afternoon Carolyn and all dishers. And i thought this would be a boring week with Judd as HOH! Boy was I wrong, thanks to the MVP twist.

  4. Hi all! Who are have nots this week? Did I miss it?

  5. Thank you so much, Caro for all you do. My summer would be lost without you! I must say that I have been waiting YEARS for BB to let America nominate someone. I really wish they would've chosen a season where no one came in with an advantage / already established fan base. I'm extremely curious to see how America's nom could play out in the game. It's really too bad that the idea might be dismissed because of how it's gone so far with the same person winning each week. I really hope that Amanda and McCrae stay safe. It would be a travesty if Aaryn makes it much farther. Jmo
Love you all here at BBDISH! Xoxo

  7. WOW! 62% of us taking the quickie poll want Elissa to win POV.

I am assuming since the feeds have been down an hour and a half that it must be an endurance comp although I don't recall them being on inside lockdown long enough for that, were they?

  8. NancyJo, they're on the portraits above. Andy, Jessie, Candice and Spencer. :)

  9. I have a couple of conspiracy theories. AGP put Elissa in the house for a short time to make a twist of the MVP. All the votes cast are never revealed so it would be easy for AGP to just announce that Elissa won the first 3 weeks and they also manipulated the vote to put her on the block this week. They also may push the cast to vote he out via DR sessions.

Elissa has said a couple of times she didn't want to be away from family the whole summer and most suspiciously, she was certain she would get MVP for the 4th time.

She came up to HOH with a puzzled look and said AGP had not told her yet and in prior weeks she was told by this time. Then she was called again to DR and came back all smiles and told the house that she thought America was selecting the 3rd Nom (so she was obviously informed in DR).

OK, now after they all were told who was the 3rd Nom, Elissa accused GinaMarie of being MVP and putting her on the block. Now Elissa claims she wants to go home because she in on the block again.

CBS and AGP should release the votes and let us know who won and the order.

I joked after Thursday's twist, that the Brenchel fans would just blindly vote for her again and maybe that is what AGP will blame if she goes home.

Elissa has an unfair advantage with her link to Rachel and I personally would like to see her go home. When the others realized she controlled the 3rd Nom each week and all they had to do was stay on her good side, she didn't have to work vey hard in the game.

America's MVP vote (for the best player that week) should go to who we think is playing the best game and not someone who has a famous sister with twitter followers (or a rigged vote by AGP).

My best player the 1st week was McCrae. The week she was on the block and orchestrated the save Elissa vote, I thought Helen was the best player. I also think Amanda is playing a good game.

Someone in the house suggested Elissa won MVP and put herself on the block. I would have thought DR would have explained to them what the twist was by now, and I don't see how the MVP could Nom themselves.

  10. Although I have followed this sight for years this is my first time commenting ever! Yay me :) I for one voted Elissa as the 3rd nominee, not because I don't like her, but because I wasn't to see her play the game. I feel she has slated by with the MVP thing and hasn't really done anything on her own to preserve her life in the house. Even the previous times she was on the block Helen and Judd did all the work to keep her safe. Hopefully this week we see what she really has in her!

I've been reading Caro's blog for six years? Lovin' every minute of it.

  14. I think lots of people were confused about the voting on the MVP twist this week...let's hope Elissa wins that POV!

    ReplyDelete
  15. Grendon you mentioned the people upset about the vote. Some of the Elissa/Rachel fans didn't watch the show and didn't read the change in wording at the top of the voting screen. They just log in every week and vote for Elissa as much as possible.

From what I have read, Aaryn received like 90% of the vote. Some people voted for Elissa because they didn't pay attention, but there were also people who voted for her because they actually did want her to possibly be nominated. (I split my vote between Aaryn and Elissa)

I am pretty sure that Amanda got enough votes to be the MVP replacement nom, but there is nothing confirmed about that. She got a lot of votes on a lot of different polls, so I wouldn't be surprised.

Anyone complaining that it was unfair are just upset that Elissa was nominated at all. They all got such small amounts after Aaryn, that it was definitely going to be a crapshoot between the people who have polarized audiences. Elissa is one. There are enough people who didn't like Rachel and/or don't like Elissa to vote for her nomination. Just like there are people who dislike and voted for Amanda. I think they were tied in a lot of the polls.

I'm actually an Amanda fan (Although she REALLY needs to tone done the pushiness of her own agenda. She is shooting herself in the foot. I'm hoping McCrae wins this, and Aaryn goes home.

But I would be ok with Elissa going home this week and Aaryn going next week if the house follows its pattern of flipping. I just personally can't stand looking at Aaryn without getting just... angry. She def has to go before jury.

  18. NO freaking way! Im SO glad shes showing she wants it. Congrats Elissa!!!! Now we get see the next nom....Im thinking its Amanda and if so im a little afraid for her. Hoping to see Aaryn or Kaitlyn walk out the door on Thurs.

Does anyone else think this couldnt have worked out better for CBS? *hint*

  19. Caro - I said it and I meant it, you are my favorite person of the day! Elissa won POV, FANTASTIC!

My bet is on Amanda or GM for America's replacement nominee. A thought just crossed my mind tho, I wonder if Elissa was serious about wanting to go home and decides not to use the POV on herself.

  20. If Judd is really smarter than we think, wouldn't he find it a little funny that he was not invited to be in the MC and that now Howard and Spencer waited until AFTER Judd won HOH but before he made nominations to offer him an alliance?

    1. I agree! Let's send Judd some juju so he figures it out. I always agree with Caroline's comments when she's transcribing along with your posts.
I'm so worried about Amanda and am hoping that GM is the replacement. Fingers crossed!

  22. Oh for crying out loud! Howard just said he believes good will overcome evil in this game. Who is Howard recruiting for his army-Spencer who called Andy the 'F' word, GM who referred to black people by the 'N' word, Aaryn (if she's there) who...well, there are too many insults to list and Kaitlin who laughed right along with her friends.

The angels in heaven are shedding tears for you Howard.

  23. POV win or not, as a fan of the game, i cant be a fan of Elissa. She has been a non entity

    ReplyDelete
  24. So Helen and Candice are bitchin' about McCrae not playing his own game because Amanda is running him. They should kiss Amanda's behind for that. If McCrae hadn't went to Amanda's side the MC would still be together, Elissa would be gone and Jeremy and Nick would still be there.

And if Candice says one more time that Amanda isn't playing the game well I am going to hurl. At least Amanda isn't being played.

  25. What ding dong would believe that Elissa would put herself up...

    ReplyDelete
  26. No confusion in regards to America wanting her out. I knew exactly whom I was voting for. She was many people's choice to put up with the hopes that her and that whining voice walk out the door Thursday. Fingers crossed Amanda is up when she takes herself off. Bye bye Amanda (hopefully)

  31. Oh my. On my lunch break tapping in the feeds and of course, I was right. They all think she put herself up there? I knew regardless they'd all find a way to say it was her. Really gotta be stupid to believe one would do that in the bbhouse. All this speculation is driving crazy.

Hope ya having a good day Carolyn.

  32. Hoping for Amanda to be backdoored and sent packing :)

  33. Grendon I too love McCray. He has been my pick when I first saw their pre interviews and I haven't faltered at all. I think he is a nice kid with a good heart and I would love to see him win it all.

    ReplyDelete
  34. Aaryn is racist. She is the one who deserves to walk out next.

    ReplyDelete
  35. Happy Saturday.

These people and this game is nuts. I really did not expect Elissa to be nominated by MVP... so the notion that some people don't pay attention to instructions seems correct.

I put all my votes on Howard, since his dog fighting story... no longer a fan. I expected Aaryn, Kaitlyn and GM to be top three. But it seems Elissa got in there. I hope GM is the replacement now.

I know people can't stand Amanda because she is assertive and bossy. I personally like her... because she is funny and on TV she comes across as entertaining and standing up for others. Not sure people would vote to nominate her... unless it is the same reason as Elissa... not paying attention to instructions.

Time will tell and the paranoia will ensue and that is at least entertaining.

McCrae was my favorite from pre-season interviews too! I was on the fence with most of the girls. You know what's funny though? I thought David and Nick were the two most annoying from interviews and Jeremy just left me with a really uneasy feeling.

  37. dayum. dayum dayum dayum.

I'm as nervous as the HGs are now. At first I was really excited for the MVP twist, but ...gah. If only Judd hadn't put Aaryn up! I'm so scared Amanda will go up. A lot of people are starting to hate her just because she's aggressive, but I love her. It's Candice I can't stand.

  38. "It'll be alright. I'll just pretend I'm in jail." Judd to Helen....lol

    ReplyDelete
  39. I would rather stare at Judd alone than listen to paranoia and stupid theories going on in the HOH. ;)

Don't even if you're publishing anymore, Carolyn, but just wanted to say my thoughts.....heehee

  40. Amanda's "starting" (as in it's just now occurring to me...hehe) to look like the biggest floater EVER.

She hates Aaryn/Kaitlin, except if she thinks they can do something for her.
She gloms onto anyone who's in power, be it supposed MVP or HOH.
She is definitely trying to control everyone, without ever DOING anything herself - like win something.

I've been a fan for the last two weeks, but the shine is definitely wearing off. I don't want her to go home, but I really wouldn't mind seeing her as the replacement MVP nom AND finding out that it's an America voted scenario.

    ReplyDelete
  41. So many what if's going on in the house. They are all over the place trying to figure out who is mvp and who the re-nom will be. This is awesome....

  42. I always get a little giggle out of solitary confinement being a "punishment" in this game - if I were one of the HG's I'd think (other than pooping where I sleep) it would be a dream to get 24 hours to get my mind straightened out again.

  43. Round and round and round they go where they'll stop nobody knows. I can't even watch anymore. My head is spinning.

  45. Yay for Elissa finally proving she wants to play! I was so upset she got nominated, but now I'm glad cause she will be in a much better position in the game. I don't participate in the voting stuff because I've always thought that production just does as they please since they never show poll results!

LMAO! Theres a reason I split my votes equally between Aaryn and Howard. Something about him went off on my radar some time ago (im afraid to analyse what it may be) and I listen to that inner voice....unfortunately I dont believe the TV only people will see him as anything but favorable unless they also read the blogs that give us so much more insight. And I think some of his intent may be getting lost in translation or hes just not looked upon as a threat. Im also beginning to lose faith in Candice as a result of his influence.

  47. All I can hope is that Aaryn goes home (or anyone but Amanda). At this point they (almost the entire house)have gone beyond targeting her to slandering every part of her personality.

Hoping for McCrae and Amanda to win next 2 HOH's. I will be happy then. Otherwise, I'm in mourning.

  48. Wonder if Judd could set the time forward on the alarm clock to fast forward his time in isolation.

  49. I was NOT upset that Elissa was nomincated but I am happy she won POV. I like Elissa....I just don't think she is playing yet. I hope Amanda is the replacement. But I really, really want Aaryn to go!

  50. It's been a week in power, and I'm absolutely sick of Helen. She is awful in terms of entertaining TV.

    ReplyDelete
  51. Please...Please Don't let it be Amanda she is my fave. I know she can be pushy but the show won't be the same without her :(

    ReplyDelete
  52. I hope Amanda goes up for the replacement. Its time to get rid of that showmance! I want to see McCrae thinking for himself. I dont like Spencer either with his filthy mouth and thoughts. I would not mind seeing him up there too.

Thank you Carolyn for all your time in keeping all the bb fans updated! You do a wonderful job and WE all Appreciate You!

  53. Good Morning all. I say morning because it actually is for me AND this won't be published until in the morning.

What a wonderful outcome. It couldn't have been better scripted and while my conspiracy theories always includes a script from AGP, I don't think it happened today. Today was pure karma and Aaryn will stay on the block. Now please... All Powers of Superior Beings, please let the week finish out with a brown hair Aaryn walking out the door.

Why would she be upset over brown dye? Then her hair would match the roots. I'm not going to take the low road and say the drapes will match the carpet. OOPS! I kinda did I guess. :-p~

What would be funnier is if it were extremely dark brown and it covered her entire body. Now that would be KKKarma!

I'm off to the feeds to see if they get booze tonight and who has the best conspiracy theories of the night.

    Question.
How the heck do they think Elissa would be able to nominate herself? I'd love to see the BB Rule Book on that subject.

  55. So does Judd get solitary confinement in HoH room since he's the HoH this week? Bc I'd totally hangout alone in the HoH room for 24 hours if I was in that house with this cast haha.

    ReplyDelete
  56. Is it wrong that I like Amanda, as well as her game play? It's just bizarre to me that the one who calls it like it is and talks to everyone is this huge target. Focus more on the two guys that are playing the entire house, flipping every 5 minutes: Spencer and Howard. Just my opinion, tana for the updates ;)

  57. Ppl keep saying elissa has an unfair advantage but I disagree. I propose that she was instantly at a disadvantage which is evidenced by the hg fear and suspicion of her since day one.
