By the way, Hayden... If you ruin the fun of Survivor by successfully introducing a Bro-gade, I'm disowning you forever. I'm sure you're all broken up about that.
Yes, yes, I know.. This is Survivor, not the Hayden Show. So, here's the very slightly spoilery official blurbage from the fine folks at CBS publicity:
In a "Survivor" 1st, Each former castaway and their loved one is stranded in the jungle overnight, then are shocked to learn they will play against each other.
"Blood Is Thicker Than Anything" - Blood vs. Water relationships are put to the ultimate test on Day 1, when castaways are shocked to learn they will be separated from their loved ones and have to compete against each other on separate tribes. Meanwhile, a former castaway attempts to rehabilitate their reputation, on a special 90-minute premiere of SURVIVOR
We've got a huge night ahead of us, with both Survivor's Premiere and BB's Finale! And then the Backyard Interviews, during which it is entirely possible that I will pass out.

A small note to those of you who are watching BBAU.
Some of the episodes are difficult to locate. You'll have to do a search on the menu for them.
I keep a note pad to keep track of the episode numbers. Not all of them are numbered correctly when they're posted,and some share two numbers. I found today that 49 and 50 were the same episode.
That wasn't a small note now was it? LOL

ReplyDeleteHi all! I've never watched Survivor before but I have loved the Dish this year (even though I didn't love the HGs) so I thought I'd give Survivor a try. I want to join the ranks of those who love BBAU! I started watching it a few weeks ago and I have seen every episode so far. It is so different from BBUS but I love the HMs and the game. If you haven't seen it yet, I'd highly recommend it! So refreshing after this year's HGs (although I can't stand Tully!) and I bet you'll get addicted! Plus there's a show every day Monday-Friday! Anyway, back to Survivor, I don't know Rupert but I was impressed with him swapping with his wife! Seems like a nice guy.

ReplyDeleteThank goodness I'm taping Survivor since my brother Bob once again called to check up on me. I hate to give him a brush off since he is 800 miles away and he knows how sick I am. He calls every night on his way home from work and just doesn't watch TV at 8pm.

I don't know Colton from past seasons but yeah, that was really sad. I live in the deep south and have had many people in my life "come out" and seen how hard it is. I also teach high school and I know how kids can be. I can imagine that some of the things he went through must have hurt really badly, and to break down in front of the other contestants must have been hard. Also, LOL @ Rupert sleeping. Reminds me of the HGs, but I guess it's not a bad strategy.

ReplyDeleteThey are in the Philippines. Apparently Candice and her husband John were a last minute replacement for RC and her Dad who had blood pressure problems. Maybe that's why the team wanted to vote Candice off.

I heard Elissa's spoiler on the feeds. I don't mind spoilers because, through the years I usually hear things from my patients at work who are rabid fans. However, I don't spoil to other people.
There was an interesting interview with Jeff Probst recently on Entertainment Weekly's website. Sadly one couple had to drop out the day before filming and an alternate couple was quickly flown in. I don't think that is spoiling since this was pre-game and we now know who is in the cast this season.
I hope Katie doesn't go -- I picked her for a fave from the TV show, hoping she's tough like her mom, but guess her puzzle skills aren't so great.

ReplyDeleteOk, it's almost time for our last BB of the summer! This past week, I have thought long and hard about who the winner should be. I think that no matter how disgusting the HG's have been this season and we have hated how they have acted in the house, it's still BB and a winner will be chosen. So, I think that Andy should win. He played both sides of the house with their knowledge of it and with the alliances that he made with all of them, he managed to get them all out of the house and he is in final 3. He was the best player this season. He deserves to win it.
