Dishers, we have lift off! The high speed feeds are now accessible from the Launch Pad here on BBDish.
The image to the left is what currently appears on the Quad View.
Feed 1 is Nasa, Feed 2 is Cspan...
OK, so it's not quite BB yet, but it soon will be! :)
And a dishchick can always hope in vain for a glitch from the BB Control Booth that allows us all an early peak inside the house, right?!
The launch pad is on the left side bar, just a little way down, and it'll only work if you've already signed up for the feeds.

How can I access this? I have the feeds for the first time this season and am still learning how to navigate RealPlayer... Anyway you could help walk me through it? Thanks! So excited...

ReplyDeleteJust look to the left of the picture of Janelle, where it says "Launch the Live Feeds," then click on the fast ones. :) 1-2-3-4-Q All will work just fine. :)

The live feed signups are how we keep doing what we do.
oksy, so, I think the live feeds are gonna work for me since I can see the quad view by following the link on sidebar..can also watch the other channels, but how do I switch from quad to one of the other views? Where are all these super duper controls we are supposed to have? I've clicked on everything in the toolbar on RP and am just not finding how to switch views, not to mention the really cool flashback feature we've been hearing about...will this stuff show up once the feeds are truly live or is there some setting I need to adjust on my end? Anyone?

As far as the improvements go, you wont be able to see those from the launch pad right now- only from inside superpass once the feeds Officially go live. :)
For right now, the launch pad is just for a sneak peek and hopefully a leak!
In terms of switching views, just for now, click each of the feeds individually from the launch pad, then check where it says "File" and you'll see the different feeds listed there, and you can switch between em.

ReplyDeleteIt's funny, every year I get the feeds and every year I find it cumbersome to get to where I'm going again. I always have to relearn. Real Player's navigation never makes much sense.
David - lol :) I'm glad you're enjoying the bonus features! You can launch the feeds from the Launch Pad here on bbdish, ya know. :) The do occasionally offer a quick glimpse inside - whether it's an oops, a test, or a way to generate more buzz...

What time will the feeds go live on Thursday? I don't really need an exact time(I know you probably don't have one anyway. lol) I'm just looking for a ballpark time. I'm going to a taping of "So You Think You Can Dance", but if the feeds start right after the show is over I might skip it. :P

I am very excited about this season. I am quite confident that it will be a wonderful expierence for all involved!
I also think that someone is toying with us. Personally, i think it makes the season much more fun; With all the speculation and such!

I am so glad I got rid of my job at the grocery store. More time for the feeds! at home, at work at the library, okay 45 minutes of cleaning work in the evening. i should be able to handle 45 minutes feed downtime? BBdish mobile updates on the cellphone of course!

Well it's great that you guys who have the feeds somehow have CSPAN and NASA. I am still seeing the BB1o highlights. How do I get to see what you guys are seeing on my Real Player? I have Superpass and everything. It's not showing CSPAN or NASA just BB10 ...
