Hello all you wonderful BB Dishers! :)
Who will win this important PoV and will they use it? What are the stakes?
- Brendon wants the nominations to stay the same because he says that Ragan is his target.
- Ragan and Lane want to win for the obvious reasons.
- Enzo wants prizes and hasn't really shown an inclination to put himself out there for anyone.
- Hayden probably won't use it because he doesn't want to burn bridges with Brendon. He can always tell Matt he is protecting him from being the replacement.
- Kathy wants the PoV to keep herself safe because she is convinced there is something shady afoot.
- Matt, as the holder of the DPoV, is sitting pretty and is poised to make a power move. The thing that would completely foil his plans is if Kathy wins the PoV because she is the replacement he is gunning for at this point since Brendon as the HoH is safe.
- Britney, for obvious reasons, doesn't want the PoV to be used to insure her safety.

Ragan gets all emotional and expresses how much he adores Britney and they both say how much they despise Brendon.

Matt tells Lane his best bet is to try to get Britney or Kathy up on the block.

Brendon, Enzo and Lane are grinning BIG.
Kathy joins.
They are talking about the competition.
Kathy: I was trying to put the pieces together and I was getting dizzy...
Talk turns to double eviction. Enzo and Hayden tease Kathy. Surprisingly, she didn't do well. Britney joins.
12:50 PM BBT
Ragan goes to the kitchen to talk with his other half.
Ragan: Because quote, unquote I have been throwing competitions.
Matt: And I know he didn't mean it but it was a dig to me too.
Ragan: And look at you. You're so composed and I'm a nervous wreck.
Matt: F him. He's gone next week.
Ragan: Do you think you have enough votes if you go up?
Matt: Mhm. If I do, I have no reason to keep up my end of the deal. If I don't, well...
A door opens. They change the subject to the PoV Robot and we get bubbled.
Ragan: Britney said he said Enzo (as the Saboteur) and gave all the reasons he believed it.
Matt: We tell him (Enzo) and get him all fired up against him (Brendon).
Ragan: Wait until after the nominations.
They go on to make fun of Kathy and how badly she did in the competition.
1:15 PM BBT
Enzo, Lane and Hayden have a quick whisperfest in the bathroom. Very hard to hear. Sounds like Lane is concerned that he will be going home. Enzo tells him not to sweat it. Lane and Hayden move to the Cabana.
Lane: Did Brendon say anything about me going home?
Hayden: No you're not going home. It might be Matt or Britney. I have a feeling it will be Matt. Me and Enzo are going to put pressure on him to put up ... (*Skippy the bubble monster)
Hayden: If Brendon puts Matty up, we take you off. Next week we pull you into our (?) alliance with Brendon and we go after the pair outside (Britney & Ragan) and keep Kathy along for the ride. It's worse case. It sucks for Matty.
Enzo joins them in Cabana and concurs with the plan. They tell Lane to talk to Brendon and tell him he doesn't trust Britney. Ragan comes in and the discussion flips to anti-Brendon.

I think he might just be trying to make as many deals to get him through next week as possible... if they don't pan out, he was gonna be in trouble anways... if they do work, then great!

Blue and Stephen are on the right track.
ReplyDeleteThe more I think about it, the more putting up Lane made sense from Brendon's perspective. We have the advantage about knowing about every relationship in the house. Since Brendon and Rachel were so isolated, though, he doesn't have that benefit. So from his eyes, Lane had no clear alliance other than his friendship with Britney, so putting Lane up could maybe allow Brendon to see who comes to his defense, even though Lane isn't the target.

I honestly have no clue who I'm rooting for. I kinda want Matt to have to use the DPOV, just to shake things up. And I'm not a huge fan of Brendon (or anyone else for that matter), but I'm liking his game this week, and it would be interesting to see if he can stay off the block for another week and continue to build relationships in the house.

Whether or not Lane feels a friendship, attraction, or anything sibling related to Brit, I just can't figure why he (or any of the other three boys) don't realize now is the time to step up and crack the Brigade open.
ReplyDeleteIf one of them does it now, they still have enough other HGs in the game to fall in behind them for exposing the Brigade.
Granted, the Brig was good for the first half of the game, but the pond is getting drained pretty low now and things are exposed.
Also, I think Lane is fine, and smart enough. But as is often the case with massive guys like him...Disputes can often be settled physically. So his strategy may only go so far.
Britney, on the other hand, being tiny, has had to develop a whole different level of wits and smarts to get her through situations. C'mon, she's still standing this late in the game after having folks gunning for her almost every week. Whereas this actually is Lane's first time to face adversity in the BB house.
If he could see this and align with her, even just based on their friendship, the combination would be formidable.
One of these guys needs to come to your senses! and if Lane steps up, I think Britney would be completely loyal until the final two or three. Then game on!

The things that make this site so special to me are #1 the commenters and of course you and caro and lessa but #2 is the way you break it down, like in this post with the stakes! You basically catch everyone up in a quick few lines yet I know you have to really pay attention to every convo to catch those stakes!
They should totally have BB commenters like they do in sports. You'd be hired in a a minute!
I'm hoping Ragan wins POV, Matt is put up and Matt uses the DPOV. That would warm my little heart! Just to see him use it would warm it really because I want to see the drama and gameplay that will cause. Enzo needs to be taken down like TEN notches!

@Genie: I don't agree. I think celebrity BB would be a bust. None of the celebrities would be able to stay in there for 70-80 days, there would be a TON of walk outs/quits, none of them need the money and wouldn't have an incentive to try as hard and it would be a constant plugging of new products/shows/albums and just a really disingenuine process.

What kind of veto do you think we are looking at today?
ReplyDeleteMy vote goes to one with a creepy, massive talking stone object that tells them clues about house guests or asks them questions about days that things happened and they have to run around and find objects with either the house guests name or numbers on it that combine to make the day the stated event occurred, and have to bring it back to the weird talking stone thingy and the last person to come back is out unless one of the other people is wrong.
It could also be an "endurance" veto... they normally have one around the final 6 or 7 like the egg, spoon fence veto last year that Kevin won.
Well I figure Oct-Mom would be the drama.. all drama.

Kathy was bored and just wanted to see where Brendons mind was at because she figures she might be renom. ReplyDeleteI wonder who is hosting the POV Comp - I didn't catch if it was Matt or Brit - so I'm wondering if Rachel is coming back to host the comp......that might be the reference that Rachel has not seen the last of the house....and I'm not sure if they will bring anyone back because if you do the numbers - and maybe I'm wrong and didn't count right - but to have 3 house guests left at the Finale night on 9/15 - there has to be a double eviction at least once - and I can't imagine them doing 2 double evictions....but you never know......

Although I am worried about my girl Brit going home as a renom I just love the way the house has been since Brendon won HOH. Now this is what I call BB, intrigue, mystery, hard to tell who's on first, etc.
I am positive Brendon will put Matt up as a renom but what Matt does with his DPOV powers in terms of who he puts up, who knows???
And I can see Brendon doing a total Chima when he reliazes he got got by BB, we know how gracious he is when he loses. Going to be a good week in the BB house. Let the games begin.
