BB12: Saturday Morning - Pre-PoV
Good Morning BB Dishers!!
What drama will unfold on the live feeds today?
We're waiting on an early PoV! And if you haven't heard, everyone except Matt and Britney are playing, the two players who think are Brendon's backdoor targets. Although Brendon has made it very clear that Ragan is his target, strange in the light of their conversation yesterday which seemed to be breaking new ground and understanding, Britney is still worried. Matt, on the other hand, is far from it, given his acquired DPoV.
Right now, the house is at a pivotal point; and with fewer players, alliances might crumble and friendships might end. Hayden and Enzo consider Brendon their new side-alliance, and aren't too sure that keeping Matt in the game is in their best interest; Matt, understandably, is not too thrilled with the Brigade. Lane is ready to let go of Britney; Ragan is still teetering on the brink of emotional upheaval but is steeling himself to fight for his life in the game; and Kathy, well she is still in the house.
One thing for sure, those who have been sitting back and letting others do the dirty work for them, will have to step up to the plate, and compete, or be gone.

Ragan gets up to go to the bathroom, and returning to the Insect Room, he says to Matt, "They're so full of sh*t." Matt, gives him a sleepy, "Yeah"; and Ragan settles back into his cot.

They're up!
- Brendon is in the kitchen munching on something, then heads to HoH, and back to bed.
- Britney and Hayden are in storage silently getting fresh batteries.
- Lane is still in bed in Jumanji. Hayden grabs the soft blanket and hops into bed.
- The Have Notties have not made it out of bed, neither has Enzo.
- Britney is drinking some milk with Advil. She heads to the bathroom to blow dry her hair.
- Kathy comes out of the shower. The exchange good mornings.
- Britney goes to the kitchen to check on her slop.
- All quiet on the BB front, for now.
- Britney sits down at the table alone to have her slop. (*Talk to us honey! What's on your mind? What are you looking at?)
BB: Britney. Please go to the Diary Room.
While visions of PoV Plums dance in their heads...
And Kathy performs auto-eye surgery...
- After a quick DR session, Britney quickly finishes her slop, and gets back into bed.
- Kathy blow-dries her hair.
- **Genie sips her coffee.
- After finishing up her morning routine, Kathy gets back into bed.
A cap tells it all. BB turned ZZ.
They all get their rest in while they can.

Kathy takes the opportunity to go up to talk to Brendon in HoH.
Kathy: I just wanted to talk to you for a second.
Brendon: Yeah (mumble)
Kathy: I don't know. Something's not right
Brendon: What do you think?
Kathy: I wish Rachel were here to talk to her. They are gunning for me and you.
Brendon: Who's gunning for me?
Kathy: The famous group... I know what was said when you and Rachel were on the block. I'm telling you the truth. I want you here with me because you're on my side. All that happened last week, all that crying, call that ganging up on Rachel... They are trying to get you to the Jury house. I don't know why you put Lane up. I do know, I'm right there (to be evicted) and you're there too. Unless we get someone else on board, they're fixing to run this game?
Brendon: I have two people on the block and two people to replace them.
Kathy: Who is your target?
Brendon: I told them last week whoever wronged Rachel is going home. Lane isn't going home. If anyone wants to use the PoV, I have Britney or Matt.
Kathy: To be honest, they're not nervous. Something else is going on. And it makes me nervous. The only person upset is Ragan.
Brendon: Interesting.
Kathy: If either of those three (Matt, Ragan, Britney?) win, you're gone. If Hayden or I win, you're safe. Enzo won't either.
Brendon: A lot of people look after themselves, but I don't think Enzo will throw someone under the bus... (*Oy)
Kathy: I don't know. There is something off. Something isn't right. I don't know what it is. Something isn't right.
(**Oddly, Kathy has more of a clue than Brendon.)
Kathy: I will try with everything I have for the PoV because it might be used.
Brendon: It's good to have it for yourself...
They go over the reason why Lane would pick Hayden over Britney, the PoV queen. Brendon wonders if Hayden and Lane have something. Kathy doesn't think so.
Kathy: A lot went on last week that bothered me.
Brendon: That's why they are on the block and have nots.
Kathy: They deserve it. It's getting to me.
Brendon: If Ragan wins the PoV...
Kathy: He wasn't happy at all that I was chosen
Brendon: He will want to use it on him which will give the opportunity for us to get him to spill his guts. That's why Ragan is upset, because he's worried will be up.
People are being called to DR and Kathy makes her exit.
There's a new sheriff in town!
And her side alliance too!
- Kathy is listening to the rambunctious discussion in the Insect Room (off the feeds).
- Britney comes out and doesn't say a word.

Pleasantries. Talk about Brendon's choices for Have Nots. He's feeling remorse.
Brendon: Well did I surprise you with my nominations?
Britney: Yeah!
Brendon: Was it better for you that you didn't get the opportunity to play the Veto
Britney: Could the draw have been worse?
Brendon: I'm not trying to back door anyone. I like Ragan and he deserves to be here too, but Ragan has sat back and let Matt get the blood on his hands. But Matt is going to home before Ragan. I think you have a valid point. You have fought to be here and you deserve to be here...
He hopes that Matt and Britney will return the favor.
Britney: The thing is if Ragan wins PoV.
Brendon: That's a tough decision... As far as you and Matt, I am a man of my word.. and I want you to keep your word to. I don't want to be nominated or backdoored.
Britney: Definitely. (**She was talking about getting rid of him last night.)
Brendon: I don't put you up this week; you don't put me up next week. It doesn't mean we're an alliance. Yeah I can put my faith in Enzo or Kathy but are they going to win anything? You're not my target.
Britney: I figured it out (giggles)
Brendon: All that personal sh*t last week... I think you and Rachel will get over it in a heart beat... Did you ask Lane why he picked Hayden?
Britney: Lane asked me, what do you think you should do? I said you should pick me or Hayden, but the competition might be partially physical so Hayden would have been the better choice.
Brendon goes on to say that he wanted Ragan and Lane to understand what it feels like to be on the block and put a fire under them. He notes that Enzo has never been on the block either... They go down the list of players deciding who will use it and who not. Brendon tries to reinforce the idea that he, Matt and Britney can "piggyback" HoHs off each other because they all three worked hard to be in the game. He tells her that he thinks Ragan threw the Paint Can HoH to Matt.

I reallllllllly hope Matt is too afraid to use the DPov even if he is on the block and is cocky and thinks the brigade will vote to keep him and he goes home... with the DPOV in his pocket.... Marcellas can FINALLY be relieved as making the worst move in BB history!

Looks like brits going for sure unless Matt uses DpoV in a way that saves her.
Unless Kathy wins POV and doesn't use it, Brit is the replacement nom. Brendan The Wise, thinks if he keeps Matt off the block he's basically ensured himself another week.
So Brits only chance at staying is Matt using DpoV in her favor. Unlikely. He probably wont even use it.

Just to reiterate many of our comments and thoughts, this has to be a season AGP has to be embarrassed by. Her last effort at a twist is so lame, Saboteur #2.
Exactly what has Ragan done in an effort to get the $20K? Two voice over recorded lame messages. Which he had the chance to choose. C'mon. That would be a gift to him if he receives it. And I dont feel at this point in time he would have been America's Choice.

Good AM- AGP is not embarrassed about anything. The ratings are excellent, even beating out the season finale of other shows. Ratings is what it all comes down to for AGP.
Divr: I completely agree. I think America should vote on if he deserves the money. He did NOTHING to earn it... nothing at all... he didn't sabotage anyone's game, the things he chose to do didn't come close to sabotaging anyone's game, he didn't have to commit any overt acts (like Annie physically locking the storage room in the dark with everyone sitting there).... I mean soooo pathetic. And the Diamond Veto was sort of a bust too because there wasn't a cool comp that went along with it like the coup d'etat riddles... it was just basically handed to the HOH... it was a desperate attempt to get their pathetic twist back in the game... They need another Pandora's Box, they need to actually have some crazy game changing thing inside and they need to present some sort of twist we have never seen before...
OH, I am always cheery and happy. If I am not, the only person I can blame is myself. It is all in one's outlook. :-)

Can someone confirm something for me? With the DPOV, Matt can take himself off, AND he chooses the renom, right?
Morning Carolyn and Genie, I think best case scenario is Brendon wins POV and leaves the noms the same...if Matt should dare to use the DPOV on Ragan he loses the brigade..if he uses it on Lane, he loses Ragan...I just can't see him using it...at the moment I don't see anyone using the POV other than Lane or Ragan...thoughts anyone...my brain hurts from all the different things that might happen...oh and I hope Ragan has to actually DO something in the house as opposed to just playing a video...my hope-Ragan goes home.
According to Janelle who has read the rule book on a number of occasions. Her comment regard the Diamond Veto is the HOH and POV are exempt. And if used the HOH is eligible to compete in the HOH comp. She commented it is basically like the Coup de Tat.
And of course in its previous entry into the BB house, it was much more powerful than it is now. Due to the fact it was granted on F4, which basically gave the holder the power of who was evicted, not just who was put on the block.
Carolyn: I was checking out some ratings stuff, and ABC's Wipeout was beating BB for top spot (at least according to the study that I read and we all know the networks hire their own experts who can present the statistics most favorable to them)... so even if more people are watching BB this summer, I still don't think AGP takes very kindly to many many people choosing to watch people bounce on massive red balls instead of an intellectual thriller like BB! LOL
@MichelleInIndiana: I was thinking that at first... that the HOH would get to participate again but I am not so sure. With Coup d'Etat it was BOTH nominees that got taken off, which makes sense that the HOH would get to play again.
However, in Season 9, Josh and Sharon were co-HOH and that was the week the door was locked and the couples split up and only ONE of the nominees went home.... They did not get to participate in the next HOH. Also, the week that James was evicted, Ryan was HOH. James got voted back by the house no more than 15 minutes later, and Ryan still didn't get to participate in HOH...
AGP was been inconsistent in regard to this... I think if both noms are changed and someone who was your target wasn't even an OPTION, you get to play again. I think if you succeeded at your HOH but something happened that slightly altered your plans, but there was still a CHANCE your target went home but didn't, you don't get to play in HOH that week despite the changes.

Hi Divr....I agree completely with the sab twist being the worst twist ever...so not desrving of $20,000....that's why I want him to go this week...besides the fact that he is so ridiculous...he has been crying for 2 days, yet he still thinks Brendon and Rachel were acting so awful when they were on the block...I think he's worse, such a baby!

Hello again, I am terribly verbose this morning...last night on BBAD, Ragan was crying at the possibility of going up against Matt and he said "Matt has such integrity"....oh I almost felt sorry for him...wait til he finds out the truth. UGG
The best part of Matt using the DPOV will be that Brendon gets to play in next weeks HOH. I don't think Matt has thought about that. He is too consumed in believing his own hype about what a masterful, brilliant BB player he is.

I think, except for Kathy and Brendon, the others are very amusing. They are at times very quick witted and I love the banter between them for the most part.
Brendon has stepped up since Rachel left and although he's wishy washy, he is being more personable and it looks good on him.

But it really ISN'T the same thing. The reason it appeared the same as the coup was because it was used in the final 4 that time. This time there are multiple options for a renom and he only gets ONE and not two. That makes it different... therefore I could see them not allowing Brendon to play next week in HOH because one of his noms still remained on the block.

I have a feeling Brendon won't be able to play if it is used... History seems to indicate that as long as one of your noms stays, you don't get to compete.
Jeez, even Ryan as HOH in Season 9 got his person EVICTED and then he re-entered the house 2 seconds later... his HOH meant nothing and he STILL didn't get to compete... If your HOH can mean NOTHING (functional equivalent of using the coup d'etat) and you still can't compete, I'd say Diamond Veto wouldn't let you compete that week either.
Also, Sharon and Josh in Season 9, they thought they got Allision and Ryan both out, but after eviction, the door was locked and Ryan stayed... common theme is that at least one aspect of the nominations stayed the same, even if it isn't what you wanted. As long as ONE of your original nominees or your veto replacement is still on the block at eviction, you don't get to compete because you still have a chance for the house to vote them out.
I think competing in that week's HOH will only apply to the coup d'etat because it is the grand daddy of all powers and the HOH was completely wasted.

If it is going to be a double eviction this week, when does CBS start advertising for that?The more I think about it the more I think Matt won't use the DPOV...even if he's up against Ragan...and Brendon did promise not to put him up as a renom, but...even if he does go up, I think he just leaves it alone and watches Ragan go out the door and then he has a reason, excuse to put Brendon up. I couldn't really figure it out...if Britney goes up against Ragan who does the brigade want to go?
I worry about Brendons game play..he is so worried about people being mad at him he could be persuaded to do almost anything. He doesn't want to hurt the HGs feelings.
I really want Matt to have to use the DV..I just want to see everyones face when he has to use it..

AJS: I thought your question was theoretical, LOL! I thought you meant just you can't see anyone in the house, whether they win or not, using it. I think Kathy would consider it because she knows that she needs Ragan and Britney to help her stop the boys from taking over the house, but saving Ragan likely means risking Britney and Britney has one more things... So yeah, I tend to agree with you strictly talking about people who are actually competing. Law School has got me all fucked up... I always think in theoretical terms and not real world! LOL

AJS: They normally advertise it at least one show before it is to happen, if not on the first show of that week (which would be tomorrow). In Season 6 when they did the double eviction (where it wasn't fast forward but where the elimination was 2 days after the live show) they didn't let the at home audience know until just before the live vote... but fast forward is such a staple in the show, beyond a mere double eviction week, that I think we would know by tomorrow if it were this week because I htink they always advertise the fast forward weeks.
Hi Everyone! Looking for opinions...if Matt does use the DPOV that is perceived as having gotten a special power(just for being the HOH) and may be a reason not to vote for him in the end if he gets to final 2. What say you fellow dishers??
Whats this... Kathy playing the game... and I mean ACTUALLY playing... like making game arguments to keep herself and take out strong players instead of just talking smack and throwing people under the bus? BRAVA! LOL!
Also, my sister just texted me (she is a lurker here... don't know why she doesn't comment, she has such great insights!) and she reminded me that Kathy was VERY sick the first few weeks and was even still on IV... that is likely why she was so weak. Then she sort of fell into the floater role and I can see her starting to pick up the pace this week... Anyone agree?

If you don't leave what are they going to do. They like to keep the illusion of it only being HGs in the house. Would someone come in and get you? They didn't get Chima, they had to wait for her.
Ohhhh. Kathy and Brendon are figuring it out it sounds like! They see how comfortable the boys are and think they are that way because they are working together and have the votes to do whatever they want. I think if veto is used, 2 Brigade members are going up against each other... most likely Matt... I think we might see the DPOV used this week afterall!
My sister called this happening... Kathy knows about the Brigade (she is a sheriff after all...) and has just been keeping her mouth shut to stay safe until she really needed to start playing. Me thinks this is the week for her to start making some moves...
Despite Kathy's AWFUL behavior there for a few weeks, if she starts playing the game well I have to admit I will be pulling for her.

Everyone seems to have kind of a clue about the brigade but no one can put all four of them together. It's always these three are together or those three are together or maybe.
The Matt, Ragan friendship is so strong that it throws suspicion off him, as far as the brigade goes. Of course it also cause his fellow members to question his loyalty to them.

Stephen, because BB is on so many nights a week, there are different ratings for each night. BB has come in first in ratings on several nights, and one of the biggest surprises is that it beat the season finale of So You Think You Can Dance. However, one thing is apparently consistent, this season is beating last season in ratings. I do think that Rachel will either enter the house or not, based on whether there is/will be a decline in ratings after her BB eviction.

I would love it if one time they would show the comp on the feeds instend of being out for 3 hrs.
If Kathy won the veto Genie, would she use it? You think she would save Ragan or Lane?
I don't think that would force Matt to use the DPOV.

I think Kathy needs to win the POV. Even if she doesnt use it, Matt cannot put her up and his choices for a renom are the Brogade or Britney.

Cant believe that Regan stated last night that Brendon needed to "Own" what he did last week.
Two more things... Enzo and Hayden are closing in on the use of "Like" when they talk, And... With all Regan's crying he isnt shedding any actual tears either...

I believe ONLY if Matt uses the DPOV will one of the two jury members come back into the house.
One thing I'll say about Brendan is at least he is being strategic and not playing personal.

Kassie - I'm not absolutely sure, but they have never shown those comps on the feeds. Too much Production direction. Luxury comps have made it on the feeds occasionally :)
MM - I think Kathy would take her direction from Brendon in case she won. And no, her winning would not make Matt use the DPoV, but it would foil his plans to put her up as a renom should he have to use it :)

I just don't know how much to believe coming out of Brendon and Brit right now. Especially Brit, because she is such a good liar and good at putting up a false front to people.
Genie... I agree... if Kathy can figure this out and rally Brendon and Britney and REALLY get them to be on the same side and see what the boys are doing, I will 100% support her in winning... her under bus throwing those couple of weeks was disgusting but... it is a game and if she figured it out and gets those boys evicted, she deserves it!
So Brendon wants Brit and Matt as his alliance now.

MichiganMan: I think Kathy would use it if she is convinced that Ragan would join her and Brendon... at the same time, I think that she thinks Britney will be more loyal and so she may not use it to make sure that Britney is safe for the week (of course, Matt's DPOV could change all that...)
I really don't want the POV to be used...that puts Matt in a dilema...who does he use DPOV on...if he uses it at all his goose is cooked. I hope Kathy wins it and leaves it alone...could someone please tell me who the brigade wants out more..Britney or Ragan? I am unclear on that.
And the veto competition is under way!

Perhaps you had seen one of the other references to it.
But I went back and rewatched the interview. The show I saw with Janelle discussing the DPOV was the 8-11 show at the 39' mark and she was specifically discussing the DPOV when she stated the HOH would get to play if the DPOV is used. She indicated Chicken George was told if it was used on his nominations he would be permitted to play in the next HOH. She then stated at another point when questioned how it differed with the Coup d'etat, they they were basically the same. You are permitted to pull someone off, and then rename the renom.
And she was very vocal about her displeasure that it was given to Matt without all HG's having the chance at receiving it.
