Big Brother 12: Nomination Ceremony Spoiler & Aftermath
Round and round and round he goes! Where he stops, nobody knows! Such was the afternoon on the live feeds with Brendon as HoH, preparing for noms!
The Nomination Ceremony Spoiler, and it will most certainly be a spoiler, and Aftermath will be going up in this post, just as soon as the feeds come back.
It's a whole new game, BB Lovers. Buckle up and enjoy the ride! While you're at it, spark up the feeds!!! It's the only way to really watch Big Brother!
At first, we were all quite sure he would go with either Matt and Ragan or Britney and Ragan, but then, out of left field, he came up with Britney and Lane. He also told Britney, got spanked by the DR for doing so, and had to backtrack with her to a point where I'm not sure he even knew what he was going to do once the DR called him back for the final time.

Hayden: I didn't know you guys made a deal
Ragan: In all fairness he did say he hadn't 100% decided and we shook hands.

Ragan: It's BS to say I haven't been competing...
We're in spin cycle moving to Cabana... They're talking about the Meow Meow... Okay... Lane's not looking too worried with the Brigade behind him. Matt is grandstanding with the Brigade and the DPoV behind him...
Back to Hayden and Ragan
Ragan: I feel like his main targets are the two of them... If I win or Lane wins we take ourselves off he will replace us with Matt or Britney. That's what my gut is telling me. It's the only thing that makes sense to me.
Ragan is calm as well saying that he at least is getting the full Big Brother experience but he wants the opportunity is win HoH. (**maybe throwing HoH's at Matt wasn't a good idea?)
In Cabana, Britney nails it.
Britney: If I get Ragan gets PoV, I go up (against Lane). If Lane wins PoV, Matt goes up (against Ragan).
Matt is speculating a double eviction this week. Brintey leaves to get them food.
Enzo: Who's going home?
Matt: Don't worry about it.
Lane: Where's Hayden?
Enzo: What if he goes home?
Matt: Don't worry about it.
Enzo: He told me you and Britney were going up, and then he called up Britney at the last minute...

Britney is back. Brigade meeting over. Hayden is alone in the kitchen making a plate of food.
Enzo: You gonna spotlight him?
Lane: He's not gonna see it coming... Looks like he was gonna cry out there
Enzo: It's tough nominating two people.
Matt: It's tough knowing next week you're nice and f'ed.

Matt: whoever stays this week needs to nail him and nail him hard.
Britney: I wish we could have done it this week. How much easier would our lives be?

Hayden thinks it will be Britney. Lane tells them Brendon said Britney deserves to be here, so it will be Matt.
Lane: So next week, we win. What do we do? Do we get rid of him?
Hayden: If you win, you put up Britney and Kathy.
They talk about next week's double eviction.
Enzo: If Ragan wins, he will put up Matty. Then what? He throws a grenade on the Brigade, yo!
Hayden: We pick Lane over Matty?
Enzo: Or Matty over Lane? (He gives Lane a wicked smile)
It's very hard to hear them. They are whispering and their mic volume is low. They keep saying "backdoor him" and I can only assume they mean Brendon. They are discussing that Britney backstabbed Lane.
Lane: You can't sideline backstab!
Matt: I can't believe he would pick Britney over me or Ragan over me. I feel almost offended.

Lane going up is a left field maneuver. Didn't see that one coming last week or even this week. I can see Brendon looking at Lane and possibly Enzo as floaters.
Also interesting to note Brendon trying to ally himself with Hayden and Enzo and also Matt and Ragan. The latter another out of left field play. This could be a fun week.
Just finished dinner! Fading fast... I've never not been able to stay awake for noms... I am lame! But an early bed time means an early start tomorrow for veto day! :-)

I have been home for 1 week as of yesterday. Had my blood levels checked today and another CT Scan on my left lung for the blood clots. I go to the pulmonologist Monday and to Temple Lung on 9/02/2010 for a 2nd opinion. The drs here want to operate and remove part of my left lung that died due to the 2 blood clots. I just want to be sure before anyone cuts anything out of me.
My pain is down to about a 2 which is awesome. :)

Putting Lane up is certainly interesting. It's a lot tougher when the HOH is essentially playing on his/her own. When you have others on your side, consensus builds. In Brendon's case, it's tough for him to get a read on the house.

Have you ever tried a TENS unit, works great for back spasms and other areas as well. Stay hooked up to it all day and just turn it on whenever you need it for about 30 minutes then off again til the next time.

In my fantasy, Brendon went with his original final plan and put up Brit and Lane. BB came out and 'no Brendon you can't put Brit up because you broke the rule so she is not surprised'. Brendon now is trying to figure out who he should pair with Lane and Lane is going ballistic saying 'that's not fair, the whole nomination should be voided and pick two others'.
BB is baffled and Grodner is racing to the studieo to figure out a new plan.

The books and show are VERY different (sorry about raising my voice). I have read the entire series and trust me it doesn't ruin the series. It's already so far away I don't think that could happen.
This is really crazy that it is taking so long! I took my dog for an hour long walk and couldn't wait to come home to see and I have still been staring at a trivia screen for 40 minutes! Maybe Lane went all psycho/drama - now, that would be entertaining!

Genie - OMG! I am sooooo envious. I took Latin in HS b/c I thought it would be helpful in law school. Then in college I took Spanish. I remember little of the formal Latin stuff....and truth be told, I'd still be in college trying to graduate had my spanish professor not helped me out!!! Good Evening everyone!!! This is taking way too long.....so I thought I would share something that I found funny from last night before the live show.....
Enzo was in the kitchen eating food from off the top of the stove and he looked at the stove and he said "it's only 4:00" - when in reality the stove was on and it was showing that the stove was at 400 degrees!!!! The microwave said it was 4:18 - and "skippy" made a point of zooming in on both the microwave time and the temperature of the stove....LOL
Also - I hope Brendon puts Lane up - I was watching him Lane in the comp last night and I don't know about anyone else - but I thought he was kinda laggin - stopping to pull up his shorts, looking around.....I think he wanted Brendon to win - so Brendon can get out the side alliances - so it goes to show that you have to hustle if you want to be safe and win HOH......same with Hayden too - for guys that are used to dealing with ropes and cattle - they sure acted like they had never seen a rope before - IMHO.
Hoping the "Skippy" didn't fall asleep and forget to turn the feeds back on.....

Caro, if by chance you come back and read the comments, I just got some new stuff at our pharmacy...they are a compounding pharmacy, it's called Ketoprofen gel, it's working wonders for my RA....it should do good for back spasms too. Also Midol works for spasms, that's what I took for a ruptured disc that would spasm the hell out of my back...

what I don't get is that Brendon said he would not backdoor Brit, will he stick to that or will he put her up as a renom if one of the two get themselves off the block? I would be very upset if Brit didn't go up at all but then again if he put matt up, he would take himself down then he would have to put brit up so this could be very entertaining....

The reason(s) that Lane went up is that Brendon is pissed that Lane never tries in comps and also that Brendon and Rachel were convinced that Lane is the sabotuer.
Hope Ragan wins the POV and pulls himself off. Brendon wouldn't put up Britney - not after telling her that he would not backdoor her. Maybe Kathy would go home?

All that happened is he was forced to talk to Britney again and she talked Brendon out of putting her up. He's a sucker. It's Lane because he had already told Matt he wasn't going up. It's exactly what seemed like was going to happen after that final talk with Britney right before fishes. Brendon being Brendon. Couldn't think on the spot.

I think after his 'tit for tat' convo with Britney, he figures he is down at least one out of the four for next week...and probably Matt too so he will only have one person to worry about, whichever one stays. I doubt he is worried it will be Lane :)
This is all very suspicious.. I do think that Brendon was made to change his nomination after telling Brit. They sure go to bubbles fast when talking about how Brendon told Brit she'd be going up, and how that changed all of a sudden.

Kevin - The Rule: The HoH is not permitted to inform the nominees that they will be going on the block prior to the nomination ceremony.
I like it. He can't really go wrong here. Ragan goes home, or Britney, if Ragan gets POV and Matt would have to out himself having the DPOV.
After BB called Brendon out about telling noms ahead of time, I got the impression he was sort of hinting to Brit that he might have to back door her even though that isn't what he wanted to do to her because he had made the mistake and told her prematurely that she was a nom. That is when I saw Brit pedal fast to try to make a deal but never got the sense that they had the time to finalize things.
If she is smart and gets to play for POV she should fight for her life.

If Hayden and Enzo's plan, the new one where they take Brendon and Kathy to F4, were to come to pass I believe it would be the most boring F4 ever. People think the Brogade is going to be a boring F4, this is much, much worse.

I am having a feeling that Kathy will go home today! Unless, Matt does go up uses the DPOV and the Brigade decides their best bet is to still get rid of Ragen..... My only concern with this is that I think the DPOV can be used at elimination on the live show! Will Hayden, Lane and Enzo have enough time to collect themselves and see that or will they vote out Kathy?
Here is hoping that Matt goes up, the plan is to get rid of Ragen, and the rest of the Brigade just follows with the original plan?

So let Matt use the DPOV and put up Kathy. Just remember it takes 4 jury votes to win. You can guarantee he won't get Brendon, Rachel, or Kathy.
