Thursday Afternoon with Howie

Following HoH Lockdown on Thursdays, the HGs clean house, get gussied up for the Live Show, and have a tech rehearsal. If you're reading this anywhere but http://bbdish.blogspot.com, it has been illegally copied.

Because CBS & AGP want to make sure we all tune in for the live show, they tend to make sure no info other than the off misleading tidbit makes it to our ears. The feeds become like a game of cat and mouse, and since we're the mouse, we decided we're not playing that game this season.

So... it's break time for the Dishchicks! The HGs have been locked inside since 10am Wednesday, and we've got to be ready to transcribe til the sun comes up, if need be.

If you haven't taken advantage of the 3 day Free Trial for the Live Feeds yet, I strongly encourage you to do that now, and get them set up and working on your computer while there's time to figure out the new set up and deal with any challenges you might encounter... before the live show tonight.

We'll see you back here in a new top post at 7:50pm Eastern/4:50pm BBT for the Live Show Viewing Party.

For Now, please join us as we welcome another blog from BB6 and All Stars Howie! As our resident Alumni blogger for the season, Howie brings with him the knowledge of experience, as well as the perspective of a strict tv only.

The 1st section was written prior to the Wednesday Show & the 2nd section was written after the Wednesday show.

Before the Wednesday Show...

Happy Belated Birthday to BB6/7 Kaysar (8-10-10)!

Either there are real bad players in this house or Rachel/Brendon vs. The Brigade are that GOOD. The floating thing is great. But all of a sudden these floaters are going to get run out of the house, as the Brigade is still FOUR strong.

The complexity of the game has not changed one bit because none of these cowards want to step up. Everyone is gunning for Rachel/Brendon, and that is how it has been since day 1!

The house needs Rachel/Brendon to keep everyone else safe. Well, after one of them is gone, then the rest of the house had better head for the hills, because the Brigade is going to run everyone out of there. They are still 4 strong, and no one knows about them. Either a floater wins HOH on Thursday and makes a big move to change the game, or the Brigade continues their DOMINANCE!!!!

If you're reading this anywhere but http://bbdish.blogspot.com, it has been illegally copied.

Love,

Beefcake Howie

***Psst! Howie!! Even if a non-Brigade member wins, Matt has the Diamond PoV, and he can change the Nominations at the last minute, so the Brigade ought to be 100% safe, regardless of who wins HoH this week.

After the Wednesday Show...

I think it is funny how the whole house celebrates that it is a Rachel/Brendon week. And that next week they get the remaining Rachel/Brendon alliance out of the house.

It is just a two-week vacation for the Brigade.

Well... let me tell you something. The joke is on the rest of the house.

While all they do is focus on the Rachel/Brendon alliance. The Brigade is strengthening and getting ready to make their run to clear out the entire house.

I have never seen a house so oblivious to the game as a whole, except for BB6 when our focus was on James and not the Nerd Herd. And everyone saw how that turned out.

If the Brigade continues to go un-detected and two members are NEVER on the chopping block, then they will have the votes to go to the end. I cheered on the Rachel/Brendon alliance, because I like the underdog. I like the Brigade as well. But now, I absolutely love the Brigade.

They are so under the radar at the half way point that it is comical. I hope they kick everyone’s ass!

Love,

Jedi Howie

Excellent, Beefcake/Jedi Howie!!!

I agree with you about the Brigade. I don't have any clear favorites this season, but I have to give it to the Brigade for making it so far completely undetected! Didn't they form their alliance week 1?

They will be going all the way to the end. And, while I have said this a couple of times now, I will repeat it here: I'm really looking forward to when they have to start eating their own. That's when it is going to become most interesting for me.

Thanks for your assessment, as one of the handful of people in America who has actually survived that house.....twice, even, LOL,....your perspective is most appreciated!!!

Have a great week, and let us know if you land any jobs as a t.v. Weatherman anytime soon!!!!

If you read this, please tell Janelle "Hi" for me!!! I love her!!!

I keep seeing people state the DPOV has changed because the holder is no longer the sole vote.

The only reason it was originally the sole vote is because there were FOUR people left. It was just like a normal Golden Veto.

I know this is a Howie post, but wanted to say that I and the Alzheimer's Auntie are sitting down to a grilled Orange Ruffy, baked potato, and sweet summer corn/zucchini/squash melody for dinner.

And it is YUMMO!!!!!

Just butter, and no sour cream on the baked potato for me, though. Thanks.

And enjoying a glass of sun tea I made fresh today, with it!!!

The HG's have been told to dress comfortably, and they are.

That's confirmation for me. It's a physical comp. Probably a Coordination style comp. Not exactly Endurance, but close to it.

This week's HoH will not be determined during the Live Show. We will not know until much later after the Live Show who the next HoH will be.

And Kathy just mentioned to Brendon: "I am sooooo weak right now"

Does that mean she will be throwing the comp. tonight?

I'm listening to "Don't Stop Believin' " by Journey.

I don't know why, but it seems to fit for this night.

Don't stop believing in this season. We have a long way to go. And tonight starts a new game in the house.

Pull it up on YouTube, and listen to it. It will get you pumped for tonight!!!!!! I promise!!!
