BB12: Week 6 Begins - Game Resets
Good Evening BB Dishers! :)
What a night we've had so far on the live feeds ! And we're in for a brand new roller coaster ride.
Rachel is on her way to Jury with the cryptic message from ChenBot saying it might not be the last time you are in the house... or words to that effect. What does this mean? Will other Jury members be given the opportunity to get back in the game or is this open just to Rachel? AGP, you're wicked! :)
Brendon fought hard and earned this week's HoH, effectively making Have Nots the three people who, from his limited perspective, backstabbed Rachel- Britney, Ragan and Matt.
The question remains who will he put up? Any two of those three; or will he target one of them and put up a pawn? Will Britney and Ragan keep their cool or will new smackdowns ensue?
Matt still has the Diamond Power of Veto in play which gives him the right to use it up to Eviction Night and change one of Brendon's nominations, choosing who will go up in the person's place. And with the Brigade in his corner, his position in the house is secure even if he is put up as the replacement nominee. With three votes to evict, the Brigade has the numbers.
There has been a lot of speculation whether Matt would use the DPoV. In my personal assessment, the only way he would use it would be if two Brigade members are on the block. Would he risk using it in any other scenario, and lose his alliance?

- Britney and Matt are making slop.
- Ragan just got out of the shower and changing in the Cabana
- Hayden and Lane are at the dining table.
- Kathy is puttering in the kitchen
- Brendon is alone in Taj, no doubt already missing Rachel, and pondering his next move in a house without any allies.

- Brendon joins Lane and Hayden in the Cabana. Talk is about sports, music and movies.
- Enzo has come out of DR, sits at the table and does some loud eating. Kathy joins him.
- Britney is in the bathroom. She finishes up and joins Ragan in the Insect Room.
- Enzo joins the crew in Cabana. Talk is about the HoH Competition.
- Kathy passes through and Brendon asks her how it felt to eat.

Ragan & Britney
Ragan is crying in the Insect Room. He says that he needed to get knocked down a peg for how he was acting last week. Britney agrees. that she did as well.
Ragan: I feel like such a do*che bag right now.
Britney: Why?
Ragan: For the way I acted after the competition and calling Rachel a witch.
Britney: No one will understand the way we felt.
Ragan: It's just that I am having a pity party.
They comfort each other a bit.
Britney: If Rachel was the Saboteur will we find out?
Ragan: Yeah there will be a message.
Lane comes in looking for Matt's key (**not sure) He goes to look through Matt's luggage but Britney tells him he put "it" in the trash bag and he stops. (**Close call) He manages to lighten the mood a lot. Matt joins the group just as Lane is teaching Britney wrestling maneuvers.

Enzo and Hayden
Brendon was called to DR after Matt, leaving Enzo and Hayden alone in Cabana. Enzo is saying how badly he did in the competition. He just gave up because he was getting even more tangled. He demonstrates his maneuver and cracks Hayden up. Enzo's comp confidence is shattered a bit. Hayden goes through all the competitions Enzo did well in, and boosts his mood.
Back in the Insect Room
Lane, Matt, Britney & Ragan
Lane is regaling them about his dating past. He tells them a story about a time he went to a girl's home and she had a special throat spray, but he wound up passing out. They start with gross sex stories...

Cabana
Enzo and Hayden are hoping the next PoV will have prizes. They are congratulating themselves because they are getting others to pick off everyone else. They think that it was meant to be that Brendon won the HoH and will pick off Ragan or Britney for them without them getting their hands dirty.
Hayden wonders what Rachel thinks now that she knows about the Brigade. Enzo says they're playing a good social game. They think whoever wins next week will put up Brendon and Hayden says he hopes they put Kathy up with him. Cue Kathy as she walks into the Cabana. She leaves again to go to the bathroom to straighten her hair. Enzo falls asleep and BB tells him three times to Stop That! (**Because Show Time is on)

- Brendon comes out of DR. He looks for people but they are all in the Insect Room.
- Ragan is called to DR.
- Matt and Enzo come to sit at the bathroom sofas, waiting their turn.
We get bubbled.
Feeds back
- Brendon and Enzo are in the kitchen/dining room and Matt joins. Brendon asks who is in the DR and neither of them answer him.
- The rest are still in the Insect Room.
Enzo: This challenge was hard and I don't care what anyone says.
Matt: It was hard.
Enzo: I did good in the last PoV.
Matt: And you got a TV before that.
Enzo: And I got the movie.
Matt: You got some HoH curse.
Enzo: F yeah.
They both say they're tired.
Matt: When did they say your room would be ready?
Brendon: They said a while. Who went to DR?
They go through the people.
Brief bubbles.
- Brendon is alone again in the kitchen making coffee and cleaning the counter.
- Matt has joined the Insect Crew.

Enzo walks through the kitchen on his way to Taj. Brendon follows him there.
He asks Enzo why every is in the other room.
Brendon: Are they throwing a pity party?
Enzo: I don't know, yo. One of them is going home.
Brendon: They should back up their sh*t.
They talk about the competition and hope that the backyard will be opened tonight so they can play some pool. They discuss people's behavior and how they are not taking into account that most of them will be on the Jury. Brendon explains to Enzo why he blew up at Ragan and Britney, because they were mean to her.
Brendon: Rachel is a nice girl. Sure she has her theatrics for television, but she didn't deserve that treatment.
Enzo says he wishes he could see his wife and little girl. Brendon wishes Enzo could get HoH for that. For him HoH was for Rachel.
Brendon: They sent her home, they unleashed an f'n monster in the game... I still have to fight an uphill battle.
Enzo: Things are gonna turn. It's not gonna be going after Rachel and Brendon... You have me and Hayden. (*I'm hitting the highlights)
Brendon and Enzo discuss how people upset Rachel multiple times. Enzo is being super sympathetic, playing a stellar social game.
Enzo: She went to Ragan to apologize four times...
Brendon: F off. Who are you? (*talking about Ragan)
Checking in on the Insect Room.
Matt, Lane, Hayden & Britney are talking about colleges and Sororities.
Brendon eavesdrops but can't really hear. He thinks they are talking about BB comps. Enzo asks him if anyone congratulated him, and Brendon says no.
Kathy comes in and asks about sleeping arrangements. Kathy thanks Brendon for not making her a have not.
Brendon: I would hope no one would make you a have not.
Talk turns to the HoH Competition. Brendon goes to check for libations. Kathy tells Enzo that was an f'ed up question Julie asked her. Enzo says she answered the same thing she said to Rachel's face.

Cabana
Ragan is in there alone wrestling with his emotions. The camera keeps panning from him to a pen-like object on the sofa. He says it's so embarrassing that he is crying.

- Hayden, Kathy, Enzo and Brendon are in Taj and realize that there are only 8 people left in the house.
- Matt, Britney, Lane and Ragan in Insect Room are talking about everyone's individual quirks.

Bathroom
Hayden tries to console Ragan telling him that it will be okay. He could win PoV. Ragan says he isn't in that head space right now. Ragan tells Hayden that he is feeling disconnected from himself.
Ragan: Don't get me wrong. I don't like Brendon and Rachel at all..
Hayden: I know how you feel. I have said things about them that I am almost ashamed of.
Ragan: It's a mixture of things that happened today. I feel bad in my behavior...It's not the things I have said to them
Hayden: You were in a tough spot. You were bullied, and they sent Kristin home. It's not the same situation, but we feel the same about certain people.
Ragan: I like Matt and Britney and I...
Hayden: And you will be going against them..
Ragan: I won't though. Maybe I'm bad BB player, I'm won't throw them under the bus. Even though Brendon and Rachel think they're in love... Three years from now, I will be surprised if they are still talking. But Britney and Matt and I will be friends for the rest of our lives.
Brendon comes in.
Ragan: Congratulations Brendon. I know we have our differences but you rocked it.
Brendon: Thank you.

I re-watched the Pandora episode and
when Matt read the card for the DPOV it said:
"You must keep this power a secret or risk losing it."
Got me an account and signed onto BB CBS and voted for Eggplant and Escargo . . .
I so hope they get something ickie . . . although eggplant I hear is good.
What happened to Blue? I saw him post something about where did his posts go, then an abrupt departure . . . I so hope he comes back, he is such an important part of the dish . . .
Watching the Left Coast version, hey Brendon went home and Rachel won HOH again! Russell has come back on and Jeff and Jordan got married . . .
I wonder if the house would have flipped there votes and brendan would have gone to jury instead of Rachel, If AGP would have had enough time to mak HOH a quiz?

In reference to the DPOV when Matt read the card didn't he say he had to keep it secret?
Y'all were talking about Matt's letter from his wife on the other comment section. I remember when they interviewed her she said she specifically worded her letter to him to help him out with the lie he made up about her having a disease. So, it wasn't a matter of the other HG's taking the letter's meaning in one way or another. It was meant to deceive the HG's and help her hubby. She plainly admitted it. Not sure what could've been done about it though.
Lane and Hayden are keeping their pretend alliance with Brendon. Brendon won't notice . . . but at least he will have a couple of people to hang out with, even though they are letting him do their dirty work . . .
I can't believe after all the excitement of the HOH comp and who was going to win it we are left with all this dullness. I mean really, I thought for sure tonight would be full of drama but this is ridiculous.

Oh, I have to tell y'all. I almost went into a panic when BB was beginning to start tonight. I put it on the channel I usually watch and they had the Cowboy game on. I was like NOOOOOO!!!!!...lol Thankfully, I live out in the boonies (Wow, I never thought I'd say that when it came to tv...lol No cable out here.) Anyway, I get 2 or 3 CBS stations and the one of the others was showing BB. Whew.

I just watched the interview with Brendan's Ex-Fiancee. I can see some of her points... even though I always take an Ex with a grain of salt.
I think Rachel, a strong headed woman of her own right with her own life is exactly what Brendan needs to get a grip.
I think Julie Chen has endeared herself to ChenBot these past few seasons. :-)

Re: the DPOV someone asked how long Matt has to use it. I thought that when he read the card when he got it the card said that he had to use it either during tonights eviction or next weeks. I could be wrong though. It certainly wouldn't be the first time...lol

I don't think it matters what Matt's wife's intention was. BB can't read her mind. She could have written it's raining kittens and Matt could say it's her way of talking about the illness. Unless BB sees a clearly coded message she can write what she wants. She also said that after the fact, so there is no reason BB would have known at the time, and they didn't have to air it either. To top it off, she doesn't have a contract. So it's all moot.

I think that Matt is irritated with the bro-gade. He's made comments in his DR about how he's tired of pulling the weight for the bro-gade and the others not winning comps. So I'm not sure if he realizes that the others are throwing comps or not. Maybe this week there will be several discoveries in the house. Hopefully someone will discover Matt's DPOV and everyone will find out about the bro-gade and Matt finds out the other members of the bro-gade are throwing comps. Wouldn't that make for an interesting week...lol

Technically, Hayden was on slop during the solitary confinement even though he didn't eat any.
I'm hoping for a POV this week, where they have to eat nasty things.
This is just my opinion, but I don't think the fact that Brendon has only had altercations with Britney and Ragan is proof that he is a bully. There has been no reason for him to confront Enzo or Hayden. He thinks they are his friends and he really doesn't have a conflict with Lane. I'm not saying Brendon is right, but it does take two to tango.
Also, I think one of Brendon's problems is that he is attracted to a certain physical type. Unfortunately that physical type does not seem to share his personal beliefs or values. Because he makes bad choices based on physicality he has found himself trying to force the woman into a role she with which she is not comfortable. Brendon needs to look at why he makes those choices, then he can deal with why he is controlling.
Again just my opinions.
I hope Matt is irritated. He should be furious. He has done all the strategic work, all the physical work and made all the enemies. Hayden and Lane aren't total slackers-they at least look like they are trying most of the time. Enzo is the worst alliance member ever. To top it off, he kissed up to B&R all week. I suppose that could be considered strategy, but I wouldn't want to stand next to him in final 2.
There is still time for things to change-hopefully. Right now, if I had to base it on who has been the most decent or likeable I would give it to Hayden and Lane. If I had to base it on who played the best game I would give it to Matt and Brit. I have a feeling we won't get both this year-likeability and good gaming. They just don't make them like Dan anymore.

Grendon, you asked why Brendon was blaming only Matt, RAgan and Britney, just rewatched the live show (huh) anyways . . . after the big blow up in the backyard, Brendon actually pointed at each of them and told them that he would win HOH and take them out. Not sure why he has tunnel vision, I so thought he would also target Kathy.
Oh well . . . It was good to see the HG's trying during the competition . . . if they were throwing it, it wasn't very obvious . . . okay, maybe MeowMeow . . .

I have like Brendan from day one... Good looking, smart and caring. He has some issues for sure... but what human hasn't. He knows about it as he has been talking to himself in some insightful moments. He is nice and cooks and cleans for those who are mean to him. A good guy. He won't last for long unless he wins every PoV.
I HAVE ALWAYS LOVED SENSITIVE, EMOTIONAL, PHYSICALLY STRONG MEN. Especially those who are not afraid to cry openly.
BTW... can we make the Sab.2. sabotage himself for a change... so he gets sent packing.

Stephanie from the West Coast I haven't noticed a baby bump on Ms. Chen, but now when I re-watch the show I'll be looking for it. That would be nice. I was in ways an only child because of wide age differences. It's nice to have a sibling close to your own age.

Part of the reason Brendon went after Matt, Brit and Ragan in addition to their being smaller than him is also because Rachel with her passive aggressive games led him to believe that they hurt her. Rachel played Brendon like a fiddle and being the tool he is, he would of course run to her defense.
When Lane and Hayden challenged Brendon the night Rachel went after Kathy demanding an apology, Brendon was quick to back down when a guy his size stands up to him. That is why I think he is a bully. Lane especially was really angry that night and Brendon saw that and quickly dropped it.
Yet when Brendon got angry he went after Ragan twice and Matt once (with Ragan) without having a clue what was going on or what was being said. I can't ever see him doing that with someone his own size.

Everyone's wondering about Julie's comments re: Rachel may be able to return to the house.
What if it's that if Matt uses the DPOV next week and the HOH gets to choose an evicted houseguest of their choice to bring back or person evicted at the last hoh comes back.
Not sure that can happen but it would explain the words "may". That word makes me think it's dependant on someone's action in the house.

It's not about disagreeing... either they have shown remorse or they have not. Rachel did yesterday. That is a fact... like her or not.
I also thought that if Matt turned on the brigade he would end up with a jury house full of people that hate him. But if he was in final 2 with Ragan or Kathy, do you think they would really vote against him? I mean, it is just a game. And they would have to realize that the way they played the game was what put them in the jury house.
He could pull it off too. No matter who is on the block, if he used his DPOV and put up a brigade member he could have the votes. Matt, Ragan, Kathy or Brit on the block leaves 3 votes. Hayden, Enzo or Lane on the block leaves 2 votes. If Lane wasn't in on the throwing of this last comp he may be a little disgusted now too. And if Matt put Enzo up and told Hayden and Lane that he got sick of Enzo floating and that Enzo would have the votes if he made final 2, he may still have the option of working with them.
I know it won't happen-but it would make the game more interesting. I didnt mention brendon in any of these scenarios because I prefer not to think of him.

I enjoy BB of course, but there are times where I'm sitting here watching BBAD, and I think to myself, "I could be sleeping, or reading, or watching a movie, yet here I am watching a stranger straighten her hair with a flat iron."

I am really glad that there is a change in power! I needed a break from all the negativity and nastiness. Don't get me wrong-- I love the Betrayal and Backstabbing but I really found Regan and Britney's behavior hard to watch. now Regan is feeling remorseful--if he ever watches any footage of himself he will really be crying i would think!

Watching the whole house in the have not room is cute, it is obvious that outside the game they do get along for the most part.
If I was a have not I would be curled up in a comfy bed until it was time to go so sleep. Why sleep on those horrid cots a second longer than you need to. Maybe because they are all relatively small they are not that uncomfortable, even Kathy didn't mind them last week, ugh!

The only way Brendon has a hope is to uncover the Brigade. They are ruling the house. If Matt would let him go through, Matt might have a chance to win. If it gets down to only three Brigade at the end, I think they will vote out Matt. Then Enzo, Lane and Hayden will go to final 3.

The only person I really wanted out out out next week is Brendan. He's boring as hell, moody and sucky. I hope he is different with Rachel gone now. I think he annoys me so much because I had a boyfriend like him and I remember not being able to breath anymore lol...

Something I can say about BBAD that is good. And I have always said this. At least when the control room hits the bubbles machine, BBAD keeps going.
Only one time has BBAD blocked viewers and that was over a medical emergency.
I hope Production does HoH Reveal before BBAD is over. It's so much better to see it on a 42".

@ Genie, I know. It is obvious I am not a fan of Brenchel. Rachel by herself I think I could have gotten behind. I can tolerate the hateful bashing it is the whining that drives me nuts, lol.
I always take the approach that it is a game so anything goes. To each his own for their tactics even if they are not tactics that I like in a person. But once you decide to play the game then own your actions and I can live with it.
The HGs I like the most are the ones who raise hell but then accept their evictions with grace.
It's so funny how quickly things turn. Britney and Ragan are completely different people now. I guess hypocrisy is part of BB. I loved their earlier discussion and how now they are somewhat remorseful. Britney reminded me why I didn't like her from the beginning.

I have to laugh about the cuticle trimmer, I watch the HGs use it and it makes me scheeve (sp?) wondering if they are disinfecting it between uses. I could never live in the BB house, I would get ridiculed out for my obsession with germs and dirty sloppy people.

For Ragans character, the best thing that could happen to him would be to be the next HG to be evicted. He would go to the jury house and despite what I think of Rachel, I do think she would forgive him even though he wouldn't forgive her.
Although dramatic and over the top, Rachel does have a zest for life you have to admire and I suspect she is more capable than most of letting bygones be bygones, especially without the venom of Brendon wanting to control her.
A tactic is a premeditated maneuver for a specific outcome. Evel Dick used that brilliantly. I did not, unfortunately, have the feeds then, but I could tell even in my TV only bubble.
What Britney has been doing since the beginning and Ragan this past week was pure malicious spewing and served no purpose except to make themselves somehow feel superior to the objects of their loathing.
That said, I am not here to judge them. I don't like them. I am in the unfortunate position to have to listen to them occasionally to provide some kind of complete picture into the feeds when I am transcribing.
I don't like negativity. It just messes with my body, my mind and my spirit. I'm not perfect. FAR from it. I just prefer to see the bright side of things instead of focusing on the bad, the mean and the nasty :)

He was referring to Ethyl Chloride. Not that I condone it, but I have a past and Ethyl is part of it. It's supposed to be sprayed on a rag/bandanna and it freezes. You put it in your mouth and inhale. What it actually does is freezes your lungs so you get less oxygen and get dizzy and lightheaded. I'm not advocating it. It's very very bad for you. I've known guys that have used it for years and have COPD from using it. You can get COPD from other things besides smoking.

Genie - Well said! I love this game, because it's a game. Well played moves and strategies are fun to watch, as well as the drama. But when any HG gets too catty or personal...it is hard on the ears and soul. It's a dilemma I have had over the years of BB. But I have always have the option to mute or exit. I too strive for the positive in everyday life.
