Big Brother 12: The Overnight Report
Good Morning, BB Lovers! Happy Friday the 13th! Muhuahahaha!!!
Wow! What a difference on the live feeds from one hour to the next. While the Brigade definitely has the numbers to make a run for the final 4 at this point, Brendon's HoH win - whether earned legitimately or thrown by the Brigade, once they realized Brendon's lead was so huge, they didn't stand a chance anyhow- has set a very new tone in the BB12 house.
Where just a day ago, and for 2 weeks solid, we had the ultimate in cattiness from Ragan and Britney, now we have weepy and remorseful. Kinda different when you're the one in jeopardy, huh? Here's the deal, kids. You are the side alliances, and therefor, expendable. Your Brigade aligned "friends" will be working diligently for your jury votes this week, but odds on, that's where one of you will be going.
Although Matt does have the Diamond PoV, I really can't imagine him using it other than to save himself or another Brigade member, in the event there are 2 on the block... How about you? I'll be adding that as a new Quickie poll...
Also, what do you guys make of Julie's comment to Rachel last night? "You're going to the Jury House, but this may not be the last you see of the Big Brother House." Really Julie? Do tell! Theories, dishers??

Brendon, Hayden & Enzo
When Brendon leaves the room for a minute, Hayden and Enzo reveal that while Matt is hell bent on getting Brendon out next week, they have other plans. They see Brendon as their new protector, and as such, will do what they can to keep him in the game another week. Plus, they admit to each other, they kinda like the guy. Still, they'll be prodding him for information and planting seeds along the way tonight...
As far as Brendon is concerned the 3 of them are now in an alliance, so it's working out just as the Brigade had planned, for the most part.
Talk turns to who Brendon will be putting up on the block.
- Clearly, Hayden & Enzo are safe.
- While he thinks Lane is the saboteur, he thinks it's valuable to keep him in the house to mess with other people, so Lane's safe.
- Kathy is, as always, a "waste of an HoH," so she's safe.
- The options are clear: Matt, Ragan & Britney. The question is which 2 to put up straight away, and which to use as the renom, if necessary.
By the end of this discussion, it's clear that Britney is not Brendon's target, and Ragan is, but he is looking forward to having the 3 of them come up to HoH for meetings and watching them all throw each other under the bus.
When this HoH confab is done, Hayden and Enzo find Lane and quickly fill him in on the pertinent details:
- Brendon thinks he's the Saboteur, and
- Matt & Ragan are going up, with Ragan as the target and Britney as the ReNom if necessary.

It's like a game of telephone with the Brigade members tonight. Lane fills Matt in on what Hayden and Enzo shared with him regarding Brendon's plans.
Lane says he's ready to let go of Britney at this point, although, he will use the PoV on her, if he gets to play & he wins, just as he suspects Matt would do for Ragan. Matt says he's ready to let go of Ragan too... but... what if they could set up Kathy to take a fall this week?
After discussing their ideal final 6 HGs, both agree that they may have to push up Kathy's departure date from the original plan, thereby strengthening their own jury votes from their respective side alliances.
***And there's another possible use for Matt's Diamond PoV. With what Julie said to Rachel last night, "but this may not be the last you see of the Big Brother House," I really wonder if by using the DPOV, Matt will receive a shiny new box to open... containing the likes of Rachel.

Ragan: I hope he gives a classy speech tomorrow.
Britney: Don't hold your breath.
Matt tells them he doesn't think they're the targets; he is. He tells them he doesn't even think they're going up, but he will for sure.
They move on to make fun of Kathy... Kathy overhears from the next room and let's them know about it. After a few tense moments, Kathy accepts Britney & Ragan's apologies and says she knows they're just behaving that way because of their predicament. They tell her they tease her out of love...

Brendon, Hayden, Enzo
Brendon wants to know which HG convinced the others to get Rachel out, instead of him. While he starts out soft selling it, by the end of the conversation, Enzo implicates Ragan and Britney.
From here, Brendon goes up to HoH to listen to music and re-read his letter... Enzo goes to check in with the Have Not crew. They talk about Brendon's letter a bit, and get in a little Rachel bashing, for good measure.

The ever widening chasm in the Brigade... Again.. What a difference a day makes. Spark up those feeds, folks! It just got very interesting.
Hayden and Enzo have a discussion in which they say they now trust Brendon more than they trust Matt. Matt has said that if he isn't up on the block, and he wins the PoV, he will use it to take down Ragan or Britney. This doesn't sit well with the boys at all, and they say that if Matt does this, they will part ways with him.
Further, they agree that if either of them win HoH next week, they will not be putting Brendon up on the block. And they believe that if Britney goes this week, then Lane will be back with them 100%. While both Matt & Lane have tight side alliances, they view Lane as a solid guy and Matt as... well.. a diabolical, evil genius... though those are Matt's words, not theirs.
It's a whole new game, and this concludes the Overnight Report.

Good Morning, BB Lovelies! :) Happy Friday! While I'm working on the overnight this morning, I'll make every attempt to remember to publish comments at the top of every hour, til it's complete.
If Matt's smart, he tells the Brigade about the DPoV and uses it to put up Kathy will the four of them agreeing to vote her out. That shows Brendon the odds he is up against going into a week where he can't win HoH.
Loving the new polls. I think Matt will use the DPoV no matter who is up. The only question is who will he take off at the last minute.
He's too much of a drama and show ***** to let it go to waste. It wouldn't put a target on him, the way I see it. He will want to show it off for "Good TV".
But I really do hope he doesn't use it. He knows he's got the votes to stay from Hayden, Enzo and Lane. I want him not to use it simply to mess with Production as in yet another twist is wasted.
In that sense I would love to see Regan get outed as the Saboteur. That would be another screw up for AGP, but with the way Production is handling the lame suggestions he's being given to choose from, I doubt that will happen. AGP is playing it safe on this round. They need to succeed at something this year.

I suspect it's not what some of us might hope for, as in a way for her to return to the game to play.
I've been thinking about that one all night and I think if Production goes with a night of seeing faces in the mirrors, or something similar (hasn't that been used the last 2 seasons?) then Rachael will make her appearance from behind the walls, which can be taped before she actually goes off to the Jury House.
Oh, and good luck Carolyn. You have a lot of material to cover in what would now be about 90 minutes if my brain is working in correct BBT.

Good morning everyone! I really wish someone would find out about the brigade and break them up! Them running the house has made for a less interesting season in my opinion. Although I am glad Rachel is out of the house! Ragan, again, why do they have always find the most flamboyant gay guy to put on the show? I hate stereotypes :(

I have just read the bullet points this morning but Hayden and Enzo better hope that Matt doesn't catch on to their plan of keeping Brenden around. I feel like Matt has a pretty good read on people in the sense of them holding information out on him. I can see him going with Ragan and Britney all the way and trying to bring Lane into it. But if the dpov is used this could end up being very bad for hayden/enzo. And if the Sab does something to expose the brigade or how close hayde/enzo/brenden are getting there is going to be a lot of stuff hitting the fan this week.
Brian... I don't think Matt is allowed to tell anyone about the DPOV.. I believe he will only use it on himself -- there's no other Brigade member in danger other than him.. and a remote chance Lane would go up -- but I doubt it!

Carolyn: Question! In the post from last night you (or Genie) transcribed that Enzo said he wonders what Rachel thinks now that she knows about the brigade?! Oh what in pray tell did I miss?! Did they say something in a goodbye message? Did she guess and call them out when I wasn't watching?! I am floored by this... especially with the prospect that she may be returning!
Love Carolyn's theory on the possibility that if Matt uses the DiamondPOV that that could cause Rachel's return...But any scenerio that brings back Rachel would be hilarious :). Just IMAGINE the reactions. And I really am ok with Britney or Regan going home. Both showed a less-than-likeable side last week :(. Brenden is still my fave HG left.

About Rachel being a face in the wall, I was actually thinking that is why the others were sequestered! Once they got released I was thinking they may have been taping things, and Andrew mentioned a couple things were missing prior to his evcition, including the king of the chess set. Maybe each evictee took something :)
But I do think Rachel/America's vote of HG's sent to jury may return through another Panadora's box. As Risk or Reward depending on the HOH.

I really think Matt will use the DPOV, and renom Kathy, no matter if it's himself or ragan/britney. This would guarantee Kathy's eviction, he saves 2 ppl{and 2 jury votes}..And it renders Brendon's HOH this week fruitless.
As Far as Rachel coming back, I think Brendon might get the pandora's box, and be able to spend time with her, much the same way Natalie did with her BF last season.
Novalix, I watched the Pandora/DPOV episode again because I was curious and Matt was told that he must keep it POV a secret or risk losing it.

Hi Carolyn! This is my first time commenting. I LOOOOOVE your blog! Kent is a good friend of mine and we always talk about your blog.
I think Julie meant this may not be the last Rachel sees of the BB House beause next season will be another All Stars and she could have the possibility of being on next season.
Also, I think Matt will use the DPOV on anyone just to use it. He won't let a power like that go to waste. Just for the shock value, I think he'll use it and put up Kathy.

Okay, finally starting TOR... just answering your initial questions! :-)
1. I think that Rachel will be another Pandora's Box... if it is opened she is back, if not, she goes back to the jury house... I think they would need to bring a HG back sooner and later so I can't imagine an America's vote after 3 more weeks.... I am thinking it will have to be this Thursday or next...
2. As smart as Matt is, his ego is just a little bit bigger... I totally agree that he wouldn't use it unless he had to save himself (even with another Brigade member I think he might not do it... no blood on his hands if they go and he still has pretty much everyone else on his good side) But then last night I was thinking about how big his ego is and I could honestly seeing him using it just so everyone knows that he is the great, almighty Matt... "winner" of the diamond veto... yada yada yada! If he is smart, he will find a way to not have to use it, but lets hope that big ego of his gets in the way so he is next weeks target! :-)

I think there is a good chance Matt will use the DPOV this week. He is smart and I think he sees that Enzo/Hayden could make a powerhouse with Brendon (altho with Hayden winning one gimme HOH and Enzo nothing, it's not that much of a powerhouse lol). My opinion, he uses it and puts up Kathy and Kathy goes home. I hope it doesn't turn out this way but...
Here's hoping if he does use it, Rachel is somehow brought back just for the drama! :)

Hopefully Matt does see what The Hair and No-Hair are up too. Then he can pull off Ragan or himself and put up Kathy. They dont even need hayden and Enzo to save Brit, cause Lane would be a sure vote.
At this point in the game where winning comps is more important, a Matt, Lane, Brit, Ragan Alliance would be stronger than the Brigade
As far as Matt using the DPOV, I dont know if he will especially if Regan is on the block. Matt said a few weeks ago, that he wouldnt put Regan on the block, but he would vote him out if he was up. And if Matt was on the block with Regan he would know that Regan would go to jury because Matt has the votes to stay. I think Matt is getting to ahead of himself, and he is already counting his money. So far he is playing a great game and the Brigade is the biggest alliance in the house, but with the way things change in this house so quickly if the Brigade turn against Matt which they could Matt could end up going to jury. I am not saying this could happen, but you never know.....I think if Matt uses his DPOV it could change things with the Brigade
So it's been driving me nuts whether or not Matt could not say anything about the DPOV, I though he couldn't but wasn't positive. I just went back and watched and when he read the card under the DPOV it did say you can not tell anyone. So that will be his out with the Brodage but if he uses it to get rid of Kathy that goes against Hayden and Enzo...that will start another war in the house.

I've been thinking about this thing w/Rachel. If she's not potentially going back into the house as a player then I bet she would only interact with one player. (Maybe a date w/Brendon via Pandora's box or something) I would think they have to be careful what she see's if she isn't going back in full time. They sequester the jury and only give them heavily edit tapes for a reason. Would they tamper with that?? I dunno.

But, since Hayden and Enzo are planning their plan behind Matt's back-Matt can go against them without realizing he's going against them. Therefore they can't get mad.
Everyone on the team has to know what play you plan on making or they all end up running in opposite directions. I would think these guys could have figured that out for all their sports talk.
If Matt uses the DPOV, does Brendon get to play in the next HOH comp? If so, I hope he doesn't use it.

I think that if Matt is as smart as he claims to be he will NOT use the DPoV unless he absolutly has to. I don't think he should expose his Pandora's Box lie unless his life in the game depends on it.
I also hope they bring Rachael back so that she can hang out with HER MAN. These two are no Jeff and Jordan, but she was definatly intertaining. Maybe AGP agrees that he is the boring one of the two and will let them switch places (*extremely wishful thinking, I know*)
One of the many things that I love, love, LOVE about BB is that America's opinion of the houseguests really matters. So much so that AGP reserves the right to change the rules at any point in time to keep us happy -- Yay us:0)!!!

HoH interviews could be intresting to day. Instead of throwing each other under the bus, brit, matt, and Ragn could easily do the same with Hayden and Enzo. Not that Brendan is savy enough to get it, but it would be a good play for Brit and Ragan to cause some brigade turmoil
I have tried to post a comment and just cant, dang technology....anyways.... Rachel is not hte first houseguest that Julie said "this may not be the last you see of the BB house" she also said it to....I think Monet...but right after she said that, she also told Monet about the brigade, therefore leaving no possibility that she would return to the game itself. So I am thinking maybe they will come back for a comp, or something like that, I was thinking that maybe this year instead of video Q & A they might bring the jury into the house for face to face questions...but that doesnt explain why Monet may not have seen the last of the bb house....
Hey Gaytor! That was actually my second post this season (this being my third). I am not as into BB as I have been in the past because there seems to be a lack of drama. I still keep up with the Dishchicks posts though! Hope you are doing well in NOLA. It has been hot here in BR :(
Can someone answer this. My wife and I are having a debate on DPOV. She says that Matt can use it to take anyone off and put anyone up, which includes the HOH, if he so decides, hence the most powerful power ever. Just taking someone off, and having the choice to put up a replacement is GPOV status. She thinks it is fair game to put Brendon on the immediate block, and nothing was said on tape at least that he couldn't. I don't remember hearing that.. can someone explain their understanding.

When I heard Julie comment about Rachel's possible return to the house, I figured it was a way to level the playing field, since Rachel wasn't allowed to complete for the DPoV. Maybe? *shrug*
Britney and Ragan got caught making fun of Kathy? Will they never learn?
Do they honestly think they've done nothing to deserve their treatment? What is in the protein shakes in that house?!
On another note, I can totally see the brigade just kicking Matt to the proverbial curb soon.

I was also happy to hear Enzo and Hayden admit to liking Brendon, as I had suspected all along. I've got to say that Hayden is one of the nicest people in the house, IMO. I would love to see those three team up! Why would you not want to take Brendon to final 2 since no one else likes him?
As for Matt, who knows what is going on with him? After reading his HOH blog, I admit that I like him. I just wish he had never lied about his wife.

I think he was even regreting some of the mean things that he had done to Rachel. You can only hope.
DPOV cannot out up the current HOH, everyone else is fair game! Also last year, Pandora's Box was done two weeks in a row for two different HOH's. I am now wondering if Brendon will also get Pandaroa's Box this week-end and if he open's it he gets Rachel back in the house??? Would be a great twist!
WTF is going on with the flashback machine? I finally have the time to go back and watch all the drama from the last few days and it's not working =(
