While I'm waiting for BB to wake the HGs, I want to tell you about someone I've never met in person, but who had the kindness and generosity of spirit to help launch BBDish some 9 seasons ago on his own very popular site, Aldavs, which later became DogDaveBB..
He didn't know me, he never met me, we'd never exchanged so much as a single written word, but there I was, a featured link on his page.. and people started coming from everywhere. For those of you who've been with us here on BBDish from the beginning, there's a very good chance that's how you found us in the first place.
Fast forward to a few weeks before this season began.. No one can find DogDave.. Dingo and I both try contacting him through various means, and nothing.. Then last week, Quirkydude texted me, "DogDave had a stroke a while back and is in a care facility." Woah... Awful! Just completely awful. I call Quirky and he tells me that DogDave cannot speak or write, but he can understand.
I DM Dingo over on Hamsterwatch, and she's already working on setting up a donation page where his fans and supporters can show their love, and hopefully help defray some of the overwhelming medical expenses he and his wife now face.

DogDave is how I found you many years ago. I honestl couldn't tell you how long I have been reading your site. Quite possibly since the beginning.

He isn't how I found your site, some 5 years ago, but I do know who he is from my on-line travels, mostly through your account.

I personally know him on a casual basis and have been worried about him ever since I had an awful dream awhile back about him. Got scared even worse when his site wasn't up.

Oh yeah I did find your site through him. he highly recommended that I read it because you were fair in your treatment of all HG's and did a great job.
