I have great news! Big Brother has been renewed for BB17 in the Summer of 2015~AND~ BB18 in the Summer of 2016!
What a hoot the BB16 houseguests were! In addition to their enduring humor and the hotness, what I enjoyed most about this season was the clarity that This. Is. A. Game. from just about every single HG. No matter what.
That.. and just the sheer pleasure of watching Derrick play the hell out of this game and every single HG in it.
If you're not on the east coast, and you'd like to watch along with us, you'll be needing a live stream. Here are a couple of options for you:

Wow Carolyn I can't believe it's finally finale night! I feel like the summer just started! Thank you and Lessa for all your amazing work ! My mornings won't be the same without the overnight report, and as I usually do I'll probably still come to the dish out of habit for a while! I Found your site back in season 8, and although I don't comment very often I have been here for every season since and I'll be coming back as long as you're here!

ReplyDeleteRescued a stray kitten the other day. He was literally about to die but is now running around! Pecan still feel his ribs, but happy and purring. Has an injured "arm" but we took him to the vet and started antibiotics. The think his mom bit him. She had stopped caring for him as well. Very cuter Siamese gray tabby mix. Dang free cat already cost over $200 lol. Big is taking care o little so I can watch the live feed... But itty bitty may distract me for a bottle... Mat pass him off to big as well :)

Thank you, Carolyn, for another wonderful year of BB. The blog was way better than the game!! I think they tried too hard to make it twisty, and it wasn't really Big Brother -- to me. The cast wasn't my problem; it was the changes to the game that bugged me. Hopefully, the show gets renewed tonight. I'd hate for BB to end like this. Derrick should take the victory tonight... he actually played a complete game.
ReplyDeleteCuriously, Chenbot said she liked this season so much better than last because Season 16 wasn't dominated by a big group running the house. Such a TV-only!!

Hi Carolyn and BBDishers. The finale is here so quickly and I'm sad to see it end for another season. I'm happy it is being renewed for two more seasons though. Also BB Canada is starting soon and Survivor is on now. Keeps a reality junkie like me happy.

I’ve been following this site for many years now and even though this years house guests have been a breath of fresh year from last season, there have been many personal tragic events but some great ones that have occurred. I just wanted to say how much I appreciate all of you here on the Dish. Carolyn you always make this a very enjoyable place to be and I pray that you find some peace this week. I hope you make your 25 pound goal tomorrow and that your new friend turns into an everlasting love that you deserve. I truly enjoyed this season of BB. I could have done without the BOB's and instead had the Have-Not comps. But production really has improved in the quality of the comps. Even the houseguests say so.
I'm hoping for a Hitmen final 2 with Derrick taking the title! He played a masterful game without crushing people.

I heard that instead of the standard final 3 making an appearance on The Talk tomorrow, they're being bumped for Frankie. :(

I'm so sad that my summer guilty pleasure is coming to an end but I'm so excited to have another 2 summers of guaranteed fun! Derrick has been amazing in this game and I'm glad that one of my picks from the beginning is at the finale! :)

ReplyDeleteCarolyn, as the mother of 2 severely autistic children I just want to thank you for all you do. I would be totally lost without you! You still allow me to enjoy the show I love so much even though my time is so limited. I wasn't able to hit the tip jar this year thanks to insurance considering autism therapies "experimental" in my state but, I live in a very rural area of Wyoming and have to do a lot of my shopping for my kids and family via the internet (almost always through Amazon.) I started using your link to Amazon at the beginning of the summer and it will be my "go to" link from now on. I wish I could do more but it's the least I can do for you for all your sleepless nights! Again, thank you and I can't wait until next year.

ReplyDeleteWell the end of the summer is here (sigh)and I will miss reading all of Carolyn and Lessa's posts. Thank you ladies for all that you do each year. I am already looking forward to next season with y'all. This season has been different then the past few seasons (although there are always those we LOVE and really really DISLIKE (I don't HATE). I have been a big fan of Derrick's since day 1 and I am happy to see him here at the end. I have adored most of the house guests this year and even the 2 or 3 that I wasn't particularly fond of had their endearing moments. Again ladies, thank you so much for all of your hard work and enjoy the rest of the summer.
