Late Afternoon into Dinner
After much scurrying about by the HGs to get dolled up and ready in a hurry, the feeds went to fishies at 4:05pm. What are they getting ready for? They didn't know, and neither do we. All they knew was to be in the living room, camera ready by 4:15pm BBT.

- ***Gimme an E!!!! This long of a lockdown means a very big build, and that typically means one wonderful thing: Endurance Comp! Yippeeee!!! There's nothing better than an endurance comp on the live feeds!
Memphis: They're closin' up early. That means there gonna do something big.

Memphis: I accept your apology.Memphis tells him that he could've called him anything else in the world, but that one thing is his hot button, because of his family history.

Keesha and April are whispering to each other on the couch about Jerry, well within ear shot of all the others.
Keesha: I got tricked into that one, huh?
April: He's an idiot.
Keesha: I mean, he came over to me and said he was gonna apologize and I said that's a good idea...
April: He came to me and Ollie today and said, I may leave this house in a week or 5 weeks, but the day I leave, I'm gonna apologize. So Ollie said, why don't you apologize right now? He said, he didn't want it to seem like he was trying to reconcile for game.. I can't even look at him right now. I'm so angry.
Keesha: I know. I'm like, what did I just miss?
- ***I'm wondering the very same thing.
Renny comes out, too. She's pissed at Jerry too. He's fast becoming a new target.

It's becoming clearer why Keesha is upset with Jerry. She's recalling that he spent several minutes glaring at her for merely speaking to Memphis today... and now he's all about apologizing to him.

- ***And so it begins! :) I'm so psyched! lol. I love Endurance Comps. All day long today, I've been thinking it could be time for one. They usually wait til week 5, but this season they're short 1 HG, and they're ending the season a week earlier than usual, so the timing makes perfect sense!!

Ollie sticks his head in t tell them dinner is ready.

Everyone sits down to eat, thanking Renny and Jerry for cooking. All except April who said a few minutes ago that she's beyond disgusted that Jerry (who doesn't wash his hands after using the bathroom) touched the food.
Renny says grace, Catholic style... :) April has now joined the table.
Ollie: Is everyone down for Heads up 7 up tonight?
General sounds of approval, then...Renny: What's that, Ollie?

Just posted this in the other thread -- but I'm hoping it is a birthday dinner/part for Renny and Keesha! Although the 'meet in the living room, camera ready' part seems a bit odd for a birthday celebration. They wouldn't announce the AP thing to the whole house, I wouldn't imagine...I'll be glued to my computer now waiting for the Dish Report. :D
Good evening everyone!! Gee and i thought I'd be able to hang out a bit with you today....and it turns out I couldn't :( I had to rush off and pick up my kiddo from camp. She's sick. Poor thing.
You guys sure crack me up!! Saw a couple things I wanted to comment on:
1) Yes women are very protective when it comes to their gay male friends. (I lost my best friend a few years ago, I still miss him tons. That said, I need to find a new gay friend. They add so much to life) :)
2) About Jerry and his temper; I think he may have been in training in his military life. I know my fiancee was "in" for almost twenty years. When his temper starts to go I think they forget the people they are speaking to aren't new recruits :) That's the life they know. I'm certainly not making excuses, but I can relate.
And about the whole...he touched her boobies thing....April asked!! And I seriously still don't think Memphis should have reacted the way he did. He is only provided a lot of ammo for a lot of people down the road. He's jeopardizing himself!!
Darn fishies...I want to know what's happening.

Carolyn, question for you...when do they usually get a luxury comp? Seems like they usually get a BBQ at one point and I can't remember when. I was just starting mine up and wondering if they would be getting one or not.
Boomer, I was thinking the same thing re: a dual party since they snubbed Renny yesterday. In between would be more suitable than to wait until Keesha's actual day. With the schedule change this would be the time for it.
Maybe since they are out of food they will have a catered dinner or something.
Like you, I'll be glued here and refreshing constantly for Carolyn or X to tell us what's going on. I have the feeds on so I can BARELY hear the fish music too. headphones are a wonderful thing when you can crank up the sound and still hear the music.
And no, I don't eat pig feet. I'm not that local, some of my Texan must still be in my blood. But I'd be more than happy to go in and chew on Jessie. Those hams would take a while though. And not sure I want any steroid laden meat. (SPEW! Just the thought of getting that close to him makes me ill, but I'd do it for Dish.)
I hope you are right that it is something for Renny and Keesha. all other BB's there was some kind of gift/cake for the HG's birthdays. I can't believe they did nothing for her. So I hope his is it!!!!

Jessies HOH blog I read online today at the cbs big brother site. Its horrible, he goes on and on about the pictures and how much they meant to him. But they were only of him!
They must be doing another interview. Maybe Jay Leno or David Letterman? They tape early in the evening, then air late night.

Expect the Unexpected! This is the first surprise of the season, and I hope it's not the last. I know they say they're going back to the roots of BB, but I miss some of the twists and I hope somehow this is a fun twist!

Just saw them on the "Insider" showing the clip of them and Judge Judy reacting to the earthquake. It wasn't live though and they also had a short clip of Allison G saying how most of them are not from California and they handled it well and did what they were supposed to do......

About BB 'suddenly' deciding to do AP -- the 'no twists' thing applied to the houseguests coming into the house all being total strangers and not related or known to each other in any way prior to entering the house. AG said in the same interview (I think it was the one with Julie Chen, wasn't it?) that there would still be plenty of twists and turns to the season.
I hope they get a luxury comp!
I have a sneaky suspicion it's going to be some kind of news interview regarding the quake.
Maybe, if they behave and do well, they'll get a nice catered meal.
I seriously doubt they'll do anything for Renny's b-day because BB should have done it on the day itself.
Then again, it's BB, so expect the unexpected. We'll find out soon enough what's really going on.

Does anyone else think this may be a less physical endurance comp to give Jerry and Rennie a chance? I can't imagine them having such an old man hanging like in previous seasons. It could be dangerous even if he is in good shape. I'm thinking it may be a "finger on a buzzer" type endurance comp.

It seems that Jerry is apologizing for calling Memphis a womanizer... Good. ;-) Then Memphis can apologize to Jerry and they can make up. Jerry can try to convice the others to keep Angie.
If it's endurance... my bet is on stubborn Michelle. She is strong and can take more than the other girls I believe. Dan would throw it. Jessie is too heavy. Ollie too big. Libra too heavy. Don't think Renny would last. Definitely not Jerry. Memphis... depends on. April is strong, because of size. Don't think I forgot anybody.

I'm very glad Jerry apologized but I also think Memphis should have apologized too. He said some pretty vile things to Jerry too. Jerry did choose a bad time to do it cuz now he has his alliance suspicious of him.

Also, Memphis apologized to Jerry. Guess that's what a near death experience (the earthquake) does to people. I'm in CA and lived in LA for many years. Every earthquake is different, especially if you are in different locations; i.e., driving on a freeway, in a highrise, in a modular unit (like the BB house) in a multi-story condo or a pool. Also depending on the time of day whether you're sleeping or not. It's the unknown factors that are scary,i.e., epicenter, where to go, (definitely NOT running outside but standing in a doorway or under a desk because of falling debris and breaking glass, or getting to the edge of a pool).
I do agree that they will do one party for Renny and Keesha.
I'm only hoping that Angie doesn't wait too long to talk to Keesha or she'll be gone.
Also, looks like Dan and Libra are working on a seperate secret alliance. Maybe things are starting to happen in the house!!

Keesha went from one of my favorites to one of my least favorite since her HoH started. I find it sad that she is kicking Angie out. It's has to be some sort of hate for her because Angie is beautiful and close friend with Steven, and Keesha thinks only she was allowed to be the gay guy's best friend. Everything Angie has done Keesha, April and Libra have hated her for, from cooking, to wearing Brian's hat, to wearing Steven's something on her wrist. Did anyone noticed Keesha wearing Steven's sweatshirt the other night? Nice double standard.
And now she is mad at Jerry for being a man and apologizing to Memphis for being way out of line for what he said. Keesha has shown to be all about Keesha. Sad really.

Why are people upset with Jerry for apologizing? If it's just a game-play, shame on him. But if it is heart-felt, let him have it!
The ability to apologize is one of the most endearing qualities of human beings.
Don't get me wrong, if Jerry is the next one to go, I won't lose any sleep over it. But don't be hating on people for following their heart.

It's beginning to look like the HG's will be doing a weekly visit on the Craig Ferguson show. It has shades of BB Australia to it. They have a weekly show called Big Mouth where they discuss all the adult issues that are inappropriate for the daily show. (Yes, I said DAILY.) The host asks them a few questions that takes all of 2-3 minutes and they're done. Maybe Alison is paying attention to some of the things other BB's around the world do after all. Now, if she would only take that ball and roll it a little farther, and change a few things up a little more. It's sorely needed since the same old thing is getting a little tiresome. But one step at a time is better than nothing!
I am SO hoping this HoH will be an endurance comp! I am new to the live feeds this season(tho' long time BB addict) and can't wait to watch an endurance comp go down!
And from what I've said while perusing(and stalkin hehe) your site, Carolyn, we DO get to watch it happen live.

OK-I've probably been the number one Jerry basher on your sight. But now these paranoid witches are spinning a conspiracy theory about his apology. (Kind of like they do every time Angie blinks)
I don't think Jerry is a stupid man. I wouldn't be at all surprised to see him kiss butt if he thought it would keep him in the game. But I honestly don't think his apology was some kind of twisted strategy for gamesake.
Sometimes when you say something that you know you shouldn't have said, especially when it blows up into a huge fight, your pride gets the best of you and it is hard to apologize when you should. I really think this was bothering Jerry and he had to wait until he had that moment of inner courage to tell Memphis he was sorry.
KARLO needs to have a new target when they are finished with JAMM, and I guess they packfully agree it should be Jerry first. I just hope Renny is taking notes. I would like to see someone who is quote-unquote older go far in this house.
