Contest for the Finale & A Little Math
OK.. since everyone's chatty now, let's talk about the finale. There's a Canadian website having a contest (open to Canadians only), and the Grand Prize is a 3 day Trip to L.A. & Tickets to the Finale.
Being the nosy little scout I am, I went straight to the rules to see if I could find the dates, figuring they'd have to disclose it, and sure enough...
- Winner and Guest must be available to travel, from September 15, 2008 through September 17, 2008.
Should Winner and/or Guest be unable to travel on the dates and times designated by the Sponsors, the Prize will be forfeited and awarded to an alternate winner. Winner and Guest will be responsible for transportation to and from originating airport, travel and medical insurance, travel documentation, airport improvement fees, taxes, gratuities, telephone calls, in-room charges and any other expense not explicitly included in the Grand Prize.
OK.. let's take it one step further. If the Big Brother 10 finale is on Tuesday, September 16th, it is also exactly 6 weeks from tomorrow.
That means there has to be a double eviction of some sort.
According to the company that does the tickets for all the live shows, the dates they have (or had) seats for are the following:
★ 8/7/08 ★ 8/14/08 ★ 8/21/08 ★ 8/28/08 ★ 9/4/08 ★ 9/9/08 ★ 9/11/08
All but 9/9 are Thursdays. September 9th is a Tuesday.

ok i have a question... how does the final 3 elimination work... there isn't a week between final 3 and final 4 is there??
if so... then there must be a week when a houseguest comes back or someone doesn't get evicted, right?
I don't know these things though... just curious as to how the weeks are going to play out. can anyone help?
Sweet. I entered!!! If I win I'll have to work overtime since I'm taking vacation on September 20th - which I'd TOTALLY do. This is extra awesome because I now know I won't miss the end while I'm off in Europe after the 20th :-)
hey all...i was just wondering if Renny is getting ready to give Jerry a "show".....she said last night that she would put on makeup and a sexy number and do a dance for Jerry!!! Did anyone eles hear it?? I think it will be soooo funny!!! she's gettin ready now!

I heard her say she would do a show for Jerry to but only if he was sleeping lol And as far as April goes I really think she is with Ollie for air time also and come on now they both said they had seen previous episodes of BB so they know they are being seen doing the naughty!! I really do not get Ollie I mean he don't drink nor curse but he will have sex on camera??? I am loving Dan he is so sweet and cute and I think he did a good job the other day by telling them keep up the AP talk he likes the attention lol

I would so much love to go to one of the shows. But, alas, I can not currently afford to do so.

well I just looked and all tickets are gone. Now it looks like I may have to call one of my "friends" to try and get me in. Darn it!
April has commented at least twice she is going to get "the 7" together to make sure everyone is still on the same page(which we all know they are not anymore).

Ok...So I finally broke down and used the link to get the live feeds! I figure I will only have to really pay for 1 month! I am soo loving Renne! She makes so many little comments that just crack me up! And don't get me started on her impressions. I would love for her to win it all, but somehow just don't think that she will get that far! Can't wait to hear her jury question for the final 2.

All I heard were two guys discussing (what I assume to be) ways to torment the hg's. They listed:
1. Take away Jessie's daily protein drink
2. Make Jessie wear a shirt every day
3. Take away Renny's medication
I guess they want to be starting something! (to paraphrase M. Jackson)
Okay, my one drink has now turned into 3, so I am going to turn down the volume on my live feed and turn up the volume on some Barbra Streisand - I know, I'm such a gay boy - but, LOVE HER!!
Hope to see some action tonight. If not, we still have two more days to go.

Now there was just some woman giving a bailey's and guinness drink recipe on the feeds. I think someone left too many bluetooth devices next to each other in the control room.

Sitting here WATCHING the feeds and LISTENING to Barbra I've realized who my faves are: Keesha, Dan, Renny, Memphis(not in particular order)
Keesha because she is cunning and playing the best(in my opinion)
Dan because he is sexy and sweet and playing well
Renny because she is hot and funny, and playing well and laying low so far
Memphis because he is hot and stealth and laying low so far(even being on the block)
Now. If any of them go home before the other I will be sounding off in due order
Am I being chatty tonight? Damn, I try to just watch the feeds, read the blog and comments and lay low myself. I guess the few drinks don't help in this endeavor:)

i dunno. I just heard voices that weren't hg's and turned up the sound. There wasn't much happening on the feeds except that.
[I know I hear voices, but they've never been about Jessie's shirt or Guinness! lol] The two guys were cracking each other up about how to drive the hg's crazy.
Carolyn, I greatly appreciate your sleuthing skills! I don't think I'd like this show as much as I do if it weren't for this accompanying website!
