Afternoon in the BB10 House

This is the afternoon of "How you feelin', Keesha?" Every time either Memphis or Dan get near her, these are the words that come out of their mouths. If they're not careful, this very action is going to drive her to the paranoia she's been able to avoid thus far.
When she's not around, they're all about "Renegades" and planning to be the final 2.At the moment, they're all outside. Keesha's in the jacuzzi, and Dan is shaving Memphis' back.
Memphis: What're friends for?
Dan: Not shaving each other's backs, I'll tell ya.
Keesha's having a good giggle over it.
Dan: Why do you smell like cocoa butter?
Keesha: America would much rather see Dan shave your back than me.
Dan: Dude, your back hair is so thick, you're jamming up this razor.
Memphis: Shut up, man.
Dan: You've heard of Sasquatch? Got nothin on this man, here...
Memphis: Look, you n your dirty mustache got nothin on me...
Dan finishes and comes over to Keesha...
Keesha: Don't you dare wipe that hair on me..You're such a jerk...
Dan teases Memphis about it some more... saying the backyard is now quarantined because of the hair...
Memphis: Dan, it's a man thing. You wouldn't understand.. Now what bothers me is people who have hair on their back and don't do anything about it.
Keesha: Dan, you are a little brat.
Dan: Keesha: I'm that kid who plays dodgeball, and when he gets hit, doesn't leave the game.
***Talk about a warning flare.
Memphis rinses off and jumps in the pool... Dan counts the floating back hairs...

Memphis: Unh uh. No.. I offered him a dog..

Following a few minutes of Fishies, we rejoin Memphis, Dan and Keesh in the backyard. Renny and Jerry are napping... not together.
Chatter about back hair removal, tanning, skin cancer...

Jerry groans his way out of bed.
Renny gets up and comes outside.

Chatter about the weather in California... The HGs are grateful they weren't in season 9, because it would've been too cold to get in the pool.Renny: I think this is the 1st time in my life I've ever gone such a long period without seeing rain.
Dan: I hear that.
Keesha: I wonder what they're doing inside...
More luxury comp fantasies... Then they move on to talking more about season 9.
Renny says it was a lot of t-n-a. Dan says that's not what America wants... Plus, they blur everything out on tv anyway.. A little more chatter about BB9, then fishies... Rather extended fishies, starting at 2:51pm BBT...

Keesha: I do.. I just hate being on the block . It's very nerve wracking.
Memphis: What a day, whatta day..
Keesha: We have to clean this whole house tomorrow...
They realize they there's plenty of the house they don't use any more, and the cleaning does help the day go by...
Keesha: Do you guys know what time it is?
Memphis: No idea. Did you look at the time, Dan?
Dan: No.
Keesha: I said to Jerry.. What's up? He said, I don't know. You tell me. He kinda weirds me out.. The way he stares at us..Memphis: I don't think I've ever been stared at like that in my entire life..
Keesha: Like he's pissed or something..
Memphis: Like an axe murderer.
Keesha: It was bad. And he kept doing it for a while... Wouldn't it be crazy if this was it? If it really just stays us four?
Memphis: That was a huge thing... That we had a week in a day...
Keesha: In an hour! Have they ever done that before?
Dan: Not everything in an hour...
Keesha: Ya know.. Maybe one of the twists is that the money's so much more...
Memphis: That's what Dan was saying.
Keesha: Maybe there's 3 prizes.. A million, five hundred and 50...
Dan: That's a lot of prize money.
Keesha: My friend Colleen's a big fan, and she was saying sometimes they give away a million...

Did anyone notice BB messing with us about 2:15 BB time? Dan and Memphis were eating at the indoor table across from the picture wall.
BB zoomed in on the pictures of Libra then April, Michelle, and Ollie. Obviously in order of eviction.
Then they zoomed in on Jerry and then Dan. Then it stopped!
Little BB buggers - but it makes you wonder!

I am going to so miss Renny. I feel real bad for Keesha. Keesha was the first to accept Renny and also Dan. Keesha has been loyal to both of them. It upsets me that M/D want to get Keesha out third. Hopefully Keesha can win POV and be F2. She deserves something. Dan has the AP money and Mem the car--poor Renny didn't get anything either, but hopefully we have Americas Choice again this year. I'm not liking Dan to much lately.

I have to stop by and drop a line. I've been reading this blog since All-Stars and its has fed my addiction well. However, it is fairly rare that I post - even as much as I enjoy the posts from others. Earlier today, however, I thought of you and the others here in this little family when someone gave me a link to free feeds for BB10. I checked it out, and its almost like the live feeds don't compare with what you do here. I enjoy getting up with my morning coffee and the DishChicks each day and I just thought you should know that even though there are people who don't post much, we are out here and we appreciate you for doing this for us. We know it takes time, effort, patience and lots of Cuban coffee - hey, I can't even keep a blog of my own life, but I can take to time to read yours every day! - and we want to thank you guys for giving us a great way to start the day.

P.S. Go Dan! I know he's been falling in favor with some lately, but I love this guy. He makes the riskier decision to be more melodramatic, but it's worked out for him so far, hasn't it? I was watching MTV the other day (why?) and it was one of those True Life I'm a.....shows. Anyway, it was about a girl who'd moved to Vegas to make her dreams come true.
She got a job at Hooters and started entering beauty contests they have almost weekly I guess at bars out there.
Anyway, my point was Natalie from Season 9 was a contestant in 2 of the contests with her. She didn't talk but it was definitely her. I'll never forget that face! LOL. Actually when she wasn't being holier than thou and was just quietly smiling, she's a very pretty girl.
Yeah that was a lot of comment for a small little tidbit. Sorry. LOL

I have to chime in here. It has been a very difficult and painful summer for me, and the dish and all the wonderful people here, have helped me a LOT. Thank you Carolyn and everyone from the bottom of my heart! I’m sick and tired of staying in bed,

I also agree with others who have noted how likeable this group has been - much better than BB9! Even Jerry, as nasty as he gets sometimes, I still sort of forgive him for some reason. I hate, hate, hate to see Renny go. And I'm not super crazy about Memphis. But overall, I like these houseguests and enjoy watching AD more than any other season.

Wish I can help, but I work 45 hours a week and spend another 10 hours a week traveling to and fro. This is one reason I do not get the feeds. Plus we (my husband and I) just found out that his cancer has returned. Already been through 5 operations and has to have another one. This time the drs want us to go to Rhode Island and see the specialist there. So I will most likely be missing quite a bit of the next season when we go.
We would understand if you "slack off" a bit.
Genie is right and Carolyn, I would be the first on the list!
Oops! I just read the other comments about it! And I didn't think about you having to blog again back to back! I'm so sorry Carolyn. :( That is a lot of work, I can't imagine how exhausted you must be after the season ends.

Carolyn I am in complete agreement with those who say that you help more than you know. I wish you could know (literally) how many peoples lives you touch and how you help us through difficult times, make us laugh, and lift our spirits just by being here, being you, and giving us a safe place to get away from our own craziness and the opporotunity to enjoy someone else's.

Carolyn, I agree about the dentist. I bit one once as a teen,and had panic attacks for years because of something happened when I was young(before the bite)Now just float me away.
Of course my all time fave poem ever is shel silversteins, The crocodile and the dentist. If you've never read it you MUST!! it's in: Where the Sidewalk Ends. HILARIOUS!

Carolyn, bless you! My mom passed away last Sept. from cancer, but she fought a hell of a battle! Eight years, but moved into her spine and that finally got her.
My daughter and I both have worked with cancer survivors when my mom was alive and since she has passed. I thank all who do work with survivors, specially children.
