The Feeds Are Live!
Dishers, we have lift off! The high speed feeds are now accessible from the Launch Pad here on BBDish.
The image to the left is what currently appears on the Quad View.
Feed 1 is Nasa, Feed 2 is Cspan...
OK, so it's not quite BB yet, but it soon will be! :)
And a dishchick can always hope in vain for a glitch from the BB Control Booth that allows us all an early peak inside the house, right?!
The launch pad is on the left side bar, just a little way down, and it'll only work if you've already signed up for the feeds.

How can I access this? I have the feeds for the first time this season and am still learning how to navigate RealPlayer... Anyway you could help walk me through it? Thanks! So excited...

Just look to the left of the picture of Janelle, where it says "Launch the Live Feeds," then click on the fast ones. :) 1-2-3-4-Q All will work just fine. :)

Thanks Carolyn, that worked. Just wondering, is there a way to launch them from RealPlayer itself? (I have RP downloaded onto my comp.)
I see no pic of Janelle and no links. I even went in and made sure my Superpass account was still active. What am I missing??
Oh my........I'm quivering with excitement!!!! The live feeds are up. But how on earth do you have them, Carolyn? They aren't showing up on my RealPlayer yet, I can currently only access through your links. Which is just fine!!!! I'm more than happy to go through your website!!!

Interesting! The empty HG on the CBS website is now stating reveal on July 9th! I guess the read BBDish and knew we all found their error, darn it!

It definitely matters where you sign up & it absolutely helps if you sign up through the links here on BBDish.
The live feed signups are how we keep doing what we do.
oksy, so, I think the live feeds are gonna work for me since I can see the quad view by following the link on sidebar..can also watch the other channels, but how do I switch from quad to one of the other views? Where are all these super duper controls we are supposed to have? I've clicked on everything in the toolbar on RP and am just not finding how to switch views, not to mention the really cool flashback feature we've been hearing about...will this stuff show up once the feeds are truly live or is there some setting I need to adjust on my end? Anyone?
I just signed up for this season and took a gander at my account. Wow, I've been watching the feeds since 2005 - really funny to see that.

Jesse?! Please not that whiner again. I can see him wanting another 15 minutes but man we don't want him. He gets to be HOH? That seems kind of unfair to the rest of them. I really wish they would let the new people play their game and keep the old ones out. They can come in as hosts but that's it. Oh well, what ya gonna do, right.

Think of the launch pad as a secret entrance for right now...
As far as the improvements go, you wont be able to see those from the launch pad right now- only from inside superpass once the feeds Officially go live. :)
For right now, the launch pad is just for a sneak peek and hopefully a leak!
In terms of switching views, just for now, click each of the feeds individually from the launch pad, then check where it says "File" and you'll see the different feeds listed there, and you can switch between em.

ok i just finished my free video game of the month. still bb feeds not up? i guess i finished it to quick! since the HGs are in play they wont see a bit of world hype about MJs memorial
I assume there will be a more user-friendly control panel directly on RealPlayer?
It's funny, every year I get the feeds and every year I find it cumbersome to get to where I'm going again. I always have to relearn. Real Player's navigation never makes much sense.
David - lol :) I'm glad you're enjoying the bonus features! You can launch the feeds from the Launch Pad here on bbdish, ya know. :) The do occasionally offer a quick glimpse inside - whether it's an oops, a test, or a way to generate more buzz...

Real can't be blamed for what you're seeing now.. It's a back door entrance, and not what you'll be seeing once the feeds officially go live. :)

Carolyn, When the feeds go live do you get credit if we log in from your site? I always log in from my icon on my desktop.

What time will the feeds go live on Thursday? I don't really need an exact time(I know you probably don't have one anyway. lol) I'm just looking for a ballpark time. I'm going to a taping of "So You Think You Can Dance", but if the feeds start right after the show is over I might skip it. :P

I am so bummed that I can't get the feeds. I have been out of work for over a year and just can't afford it. The up-side is that I have Carolyn, the dish chicks and all of you! Once again I will be here many, many times a day to check in and see what's going on!

2. Scroll down, keeping an eye on the left sidebar.
3. You'll pass by Dishy Links, Stay Connected, and Get the Feeds, and then you'll see...
3. It's the 4th category on the left sidebar... "Launch the BB11 Live Feeds"
4. Choose only from the High Speed options. The low speed ones aren't working yet.
5. Enjoy Nasa,CSPAN & whatever else they've got on, including, ever so hopefully, the occasional oopsie glimpse. :)

I am SO SO SO excited about BB11! Carolyn, thank you so much for all you do! I would be so lost in BB world without you! I stumbled upon your blog during BB8 and have been a loyal follower ever since, even though this is my first comment.
I am very excited about this season. I am quite confident that it will be a wonderful expierence for all involved!
I also think that someone is toying with us. Personally, i think it makes the season much more fun; With all the speculation and such!

I am so glad I got rid of my job at the grocery store. More time for the feeds! at home, at work at the library, okay 45 minutes of cleaning work in the evening. i should be able to handle 45 minutes feed downtime? BBdish mobile updates on the cellphone of course!

well actually i quit my grocery store job for more time guitar practicing/teaching but i can handle playing guitar with the feeds on. teaching doesn't start till sept.

Well it's great that you guys who have the feeds somehow have CSPAN and NASA. I am still seeing the BB1o highlights. How do I get to see what you guys are seeing on my Real Player? I have Superpass and everything. It's not showing CSPAN or NASA just BB10 ...

I want to buy the feeds for the first time. I'm Canadian and I'm on a mac, so which one of your links would be more correct? (You are the only site I've seen that gives this choice.)
Is there a difference between what mac users and/or Canadian users will see?

heck, I remember feeds on dial up connection. At the time I thought it was just so cool to get a feed, even as choppy as it was.. (season 2)

Blue's wearing red. IndigoPrince has red hair in his avatar. I think red is hot. That in itself is enough to keep me coming back. Of course there is also Carolyn RepX and all the other wonderful people here.
I'm babbling to keep from cussing about yesterdays leaks and the disgust I feel about who is in the house. If I weren't so addicted I would cancel my feeds and say cya next year, but everyone knows I can't do that.

You must be extra special or something, Carolyn(well, special to more people than just us dishers. lol)! I don't have an option for the feeds in my superpass at all. I guess I'll just wait for Thursday. Do you guys usually meet here when the feeds go live?
