Big Brother Fans Rock my Socks!
I often call your attention to ebay daily deals or other amazing finds on the internet, because something's such a steal it's too good to miss.
Today is no different, it's just more important.
Today, I'd like to invite you to make a difference in the life of a child by buying a pair of shoes for 9.99/free shipping -
Less than it would cost you to box up what you've got and ship it yourself!
If that's all the convincing you need, here's the link to make it happen: I'm in! and the address to have it sent to:
KB Helping Haiti
260 Crandon Blvd., Suite 40
Key Biscayne, FL 33149
*** Please be advised, as with all good things, the shoe listing above has come to an end, but read on for more great ways you can help!! :)
We've got another container ship heading over during the 1st week of May, and unlike many groups, we'll have our own people on the ground distributing every single thing!
Our push right now is for shoes, baby food, school supplies and toys. To that end, I've assembled more links on deals you can take advantage of to help out... You'll find them at the end of this post.
As many of you know, I've been very involved with Haiti Relief since about 3 minutes after the quake. I've been extremely hesitant to post anything about this, because when you come here, you expect to see Big Brother news and nothing but... But I also know how incredibly caring you are as a community. So here we are. :)
Thank you for being amazing you.
Now, a little background...
Chilean born Key Biscayne resident Michele Estevez is heading back to Haiti on another giving mission during the 1st week of May. During Michele's 1st trip down, over Superbowl weekend, she delivered over $100,000 worth of goods to the people of Cite Soleil on behalf of the people of Key Biscayne, as well as our friends and families around the world.
I've amassed the following links to ease and expand the donating process for the upcoming mission. Each item listed here has been hand selected based upon quality, economy and need. All you need to do is click, purchase and have the items shipped to:
Key Biscayne Helping Haiti
260 Crandon Blvd., Suite 40
Key Biscayne, FL 33149
Drugstore.com has free shipping for new customers with any order of $25 or more.

Thanks for making this so easy for me :)I wouldn't have gotten around to doing this if it weren't for you. As terrible as that sounds, us busy people tend to forget how fortunate we are. Thanks for reminding us we can help those less fortunate.
Happy Friday, Carolyn!!!
God bless you and your work for the people of Haiti!!!!
I clicked on the first link for the sneakers, and it said the item had ended, but I moved on down your list of links, and purchased some Gerber baby food!
Thanks for all the wonderful information and links!!!
Hi Carolyn!!
Happy Friday!
Thanks so much for the information and links!
I clicked on the first link for the sneakers, but it said the item had ended, or something like that.
So, I bought some Gerber's baby food and shipped that to the addy you provided in Key Biscayne.
I wasn't aware you had been working to help provide relief for them! God bless you, as always, Caro!
I've donated to Red Cross, and my brother's church filled a truck to ship to them and I donated some items on that, as well.
But we shouldn't forget, many people are still struggling horribly in the aftermath of that awful quake.
Thanks a bunch for the info!!! Always glad to help out!
Have a good weekend!
(and check your e-mails, if you haven't, I sent you a pic of my new niece! heheheh)
