BBDish Endorsement for BB15 America's Favorite
I don't generally make endorsements for America's Favorite, but this year is an anomaly, and I'm making an exception. Granted, my candidate isn't on the ballot, yet.Let's see if we can change that..
As you probably know, Britney Haynes' baby girl Tilly was diagnosed with cancer. We do not know what type of cancer. What we do know is that this is a horrific time for her and her family, and I would really like them all to know that they have the support and prayers of the BB family.

Clearly I go into this knowing full well it's not going to happen.

It puts the situation in the forefront with the powers that be, and when they see the fan commitment/love, that may then have the desired effect of a substantial donation AND the inclusion of this horrific news, along with a donation link, in a broadcast, which will reach a substantially larger audience and generate the kind of $ that can actually make a dent, because frankly, $25,000 wont.

I am truly sorry to hear about Britney's little girl. I would even be more than willing to donate to a fund for Tilly.
I just seem unable to bring myself to cut out one of the current house guests (Jay You Double D) to support a previous house guest.
How about tweeting for CBS and/or the BB Production Team to create a Tilly Foundation for BB fans to contribute to?
P.S. A Tilly Foundation could potentially gather hella lotz more than #25,000.00 -- imo.

awww im so sorry for Brit, and I will pray for her. I am not going to say yes or no about the write in afp- I do think Big brother and the ex bb players and fans should some how try and help.
I hope big brother will take the money not used to reward this seasons bad behavior with lux comps and rewards, and give it to Britney and her family.
Its the least big brother can do after this horrible season and worst f3 ever. Help Britney and her baby AG, production, Big brother, america and fans and players. It is the right thing to do

I saw your tweet & RT immediately. It's the least CBS/BB can do to try to redeem themselves for all the negativity & hate they've allowed to run rampant this season. It's also a great way to minimize the anger at the Elissa favoritism.
God bless Britney & her husband as they navigate this emotional & spiritual minefield! May God comfort them throughout & guide the healing hands of the medical team treating Tilly.

I am sorry i must agree with bredrachbear/ shed get more with a foundation opened and i do think few players this season deserve the afp- ellisa or judd are my two.
I do pray for the child and hope that big brother does something to help Britny and her child out. Opening a foundation where fans, and bb past hg could donate money could help more then 25k

There was so much ugliness this season, it would be nice to do something positive and heartfelt. I like BerdacheBear idea, too, of setting up a Tilly Foundation.
This is so devastating for Britney and her family. The heartbreak is without measure.
I lost my infant daughter, Laura, in 1976, and with the passing of time it does get easier, but I've never been the same. I still ache over the emptiness, and when I'm alone I still cry for her.

Carolyn, I profusely apologize to you. It was NEVER my intention to "not give you credit" or to make you look stupid. I'm unfortunately not a mind-reader (dammit), and I was responding to the words you wrote, and not the thought behind them. Your revised post, with clearly worded intentions, is a band wagon that I would have immediately jumped onto, with no equivocation. I won't speak for Tiffany, but for me, I again apologize for not reading between the lines. IF I were a Twitterer(?) (Tweeter?), I would be retweeting your last post, loudly, clearly, and OFTEN.
P.S. I have always had a bad habit -- and that is not trying to interpret words or thoughts of others, but to read them as written and proceed from there. (Interpreting words to mean something other than what they actually say, has gotten me into trouble and I stopped doing that. It never ended well for me.)

OMG! It has taken me 68 years to discover this thought-process you call a "Chick Thing"? Tell me more. LOLOLOLOL.
I will retweet...but anyone that wants to donate to my sons hopitals bills as well im in. My son has a very rare heart defect that has causes him to have 3 open heart surgeries and one more in the very near future. Hes 17 now but because the heart defect is so rare they dont know much about his future. The oldest living patient with this defect (called hypo plastic left syndrome) is only in her late 20s. As of right now I am about 25,000 in debt still from his medicines and doctors visits.
Praying for Britt because I know what it feels like to have a sick baby. I wish her all the best.

I haven't read all the comments, but I'd like to see CBS announce that they will match contributions up to say $50,000 with a minimum donation on their part of $25,000.

Also the one who was saying this is karma.. How dare they. We may not like some players but I for one would never wish there child gets cancer. My heart goes out to Britney and Tilly. My father died from cancer when I was 15 and my grandfather 3 years later. But I cant imagine what Brit and her family are going thru right now.

I totally agree that the final 3 are NOT the 3 I would have picked to get the money, however, since it has to be one of them, I feel like Andy is the only one who wasn't racist or disgusting. He kind of played an annoying game, but I don't remember when he made racist or disgusting comments like Spencer and GenaMarie Maybe he did and I missed it, but it couldn't be as bad as the other two said, especially GM comments on Elissa's son-UNBELIEVABLE. I agree that Tilly deserves the 25,000 Americas fav more than any of the HG, but however it is done I do hope this BB community can do some good with our votes rather than evil!
Amanda. My sympathies for your struggles and more so your son's. please know that we realize its not just Brittney that struggles.
