Well, I heard through the grapevine that they pick the HOH before they even enter the house. But the 14 spots makes me giggle as well.
Interesting, I was wondering why there would be only 13 HGs... I just hope they don't screw it up and nobody knows the 14th person or that person doesn't have an unfair advantage.

I may be wrong.. but in past seasons haven't there always been 14? The one in the top left corner usually is the season number? In this case the frame would say "Big Brother 10"

I heard rumors before the season started about a secret room in the BB house. They have done this overseas in previous BB seasons where people are living in another part of the house or a halfway house in one season.
I'm going to make that my guess. Maybe this person can see everything.
hey decided to count the beds..the 50's room has 4 single beds..the 60's/70's room has 2 water beds (can't tell if they are singles or doubles), 80's room has 3 doubles.
If the water beds are singles thats 6 singles 3 doubles sleeps 6 = 12 peeps
If the water beds are doubles sleeps 14..
Plus the HOH
oh relistened and heard her say water beds are 1 double=2 & 2 singles..
so that is:
50's room has 4 single beds..the 60's/70's room has 1 double & 2 single water beds, 80's room has 3 doubles.
4 doubles = 8
6 singles
still = 14 right?

I've been listening to more of the HGs interviews and it's interesting how some first impressions from just reading already has changed. The Live Feed will tell the real story.
Aaarrgghh! They are trying to torture us already. I wanta know what is going on. Now.
As for the beds I counted four twins in the 50's room, two twins and one double in the 60's/70's room and two doubles in the 80's room. So with the HOH there are beds for 13.
My favorite after watching every video to date is still Brian. I also like Renny and Jerry. Other than Renny and Jerry, it stills feels like a twenty something group. There is one that is 30 and one that is 35, and in my oppionion they are just barely out of the 20s.
Yes..when I saw 13 houseguests, I was saying that they were leaving room for bringing more in..never know.
Very exciting! I knew 13 just seemed too low. Maybe they leave it at that and we'll see with the extra frame (maybe the middle row, middle frame will say BB10 or somdin like that). All in due time peoples...4 more days!

hey Alice..there are 3 beds in the 80's room..but I can't tell if all 3 are doubles..there is 2 of the red and black doubles the 3rd is a what looks like a chair that makes into a bed but could be a single..definitely 3 beds though..(can see it clearer in a video that was done for cbs2 8 journalists move into the BB house)

i read somewhere else that they chose the first HOH merely on their looks.. i wonder if it was done before they entered the house?

I don't think they would do house tours for ET and all the other tours done so far with an unfinished house.
and when the 8 journalist toured the house for cbs2.com they had 8 frames with the journalists pics on that wall..this tour for ET was done later and now has 14 frames.
i read that too... could be right... we'll know for certain on sunday.

Congrats on getting the feeds! Your experience of Big Brother is about to change drastically for the better. :)
Chances are very good you already have real on your computer. If you do, just launch it, and when it opens and you see Big Brother stuff, click on it, and it'll ask you to put in your user name and pass word... Do that and you're good to go. :)
If you don't already have real on your computer, you'll need to go to real.com and download it first.

so I was looking at some of the pictures of the wall in season's past, I didn't see any that had "big brother 7 or 8" or whatever in a frame. But I do remember a similar speculation before season 9 start...I think it might have had to do with the number of chairs around the table, or some other number of something :)anyone else remember something similar? seems like so long ago now :P

i couldnt remember when the show began this time so i thought id check in with my favorite blog from the spring. this sunday the fun begins eh? and just when my wake-sleep cycle was reverting back to the norm oh well.
this is my first season from the very start, i picked up pretty early on from last year, so i dont know about 13 14 whatevers. i know last season got me in 6s and 7s on a couple occasions.
hope everyone is having a fun summer and with our first hurricane churning up out there i hope we dont get any hits this summer, ive been thru enough to last 5 lifetimes.
im as much looking forward to your blog carolyn and all the fun and interesting characters that visit and post here.

Just to clarify on your earlier comment Carolyn... last year's house tour the memory wall had 14 slots.... it was then when people started to speculate that a couple may leave early on before the game gets going... that indeed did happen and the whole season stayed with only 14 slots... not 16...
I really think they just hadn't decided on how many HGs they were going to have when they took that picture. You can tell they hadn't finished re-decorating the house yet therefore, I think they did the memory wall last.
Could one more be stashed away somewhere or ? was this just taken before they were finished putting up the pics for the memory wall and didn't know how many hgs. there were?
I'm just now getting to watch the videos... When you watch the interview with Brian, tell me this..
Who is the "other Brian" that Diane refers to??? He's not among the revealed HGs.

I know this is a little off topic but I was watching the Pussycat Dolls "When I Grow Up" video today with my daughter and I swear I saw James from BB6/7 as a random dude with his shirt off. Have you heard anything about this?
Someone mentioned there being 16 pictures on the memory wall least season, but actually..wasn't the memory wall revealed AFTER Jacob and Sharon got evicted? If you notice, Jacob was never on the wall, and Sharon replaced Neil's picture after he left. So really, there were 14 frames on the wall and not 16.

I read a blog of Parker's a while back. He said he was there as an extra and ran into James, who was also suppose to be an extra but he got picked to be in the shot that you saw him in.

That is very interesting! And even more so is this... if you go to Brian's interview, at the very beginning, you can hear the interviewer (a.k.a. Diane BB5) guessing which Brian he is. After guessing that he is "Brian from San Francisco" he wonders why and she says "Um, because the other Brian doesn't seem, I don't know, you'll get to know him."
Could this other Brian be a little twist... or could he simply be a reserve, remember "Samantha" from BB8, the mistery girl we only saw 5 seconds of?

I need some help with this one. Who is "Samantha from BB8"? I didn't come to this site or go to other behind-the-scenes-info sites until BB9 so I have NO clue who this Samantha lady is. I've seen a picture or 2 of her in the past few days but don't know why. If she was a reserve, then why did we even see her in the first place?? Thank you!
