For those of you just arriving to the blog for the first time in a couple hours, the HGs are on the first hour of an extended lockdown that they've been told will continue until the live show tomorrow night. Because of this, we strongly suspect the HoH Comp will be an Endurance Comp, and we urge those of you who haven't gotten the live feeds yet to go ahead and get the 2 week free trial now. It's the only way to really watch a Big Brother endurance comp! There is no substitute for the BB live feeds on an endurance comp night! :)

Renny: Listen, I can see what he's doing. He wants to get in good with them, jsut in case they win HoH.
April: He told me and Ollie earlier that he wasn't gonna do it til he was leaving, cause he didn't want to unfairly sway the votes.
Keesha: That's what he told me this morning.
Libra: Why would he do that? Does he think we're stupid?
Renny: As soon as I saw him do that, I thought it was a betrayal. You don't do something like that til after HoH.
Libra: I wouldn't even do it then.
Renny: He talks out of both sides of his mouth...
Talk turns to the lockdown.
Libra: We're locked in here for 24 hours. It's gonna be big. It has to be endurance.
Renny: What?
Libra: Endurance. You gonna be hangin', honey.

Keesha: What did Memphis say to you?
Jerry: He said it was the worst thing I could have said to him and he accepted my apology. I just didn't wanna let it fester anymore.
Talk turns to the new schedule.
April: Noms wll be friday, PoV will be on Saturday.
Keesha: Oh sh*t... (laughing) If I get put up on my birthday.
Jerry: Think positive.
Renny: When did you decide to apologize to Memphis?
Jerry: I talked to April and Ollie about it, then Keesha, and I just decided it was time to do it.
April: There's just a misunderstanding, because when you talked to Ollie and I, you said that you didn't want it to effect the votes.
Jerry: But when I talked to Keesha, she said there's no power now.
Libra: but he could get into power tomorrow.
Jerry: I didn't wanna do it when he was HoH or I am or something like that. I don't think it's gonna stop him from doing anything to me..
Renny speaks up. Jerry's had enough.
Jerry: This was personal between him n me. It doesn't have anything to do with you people. I mean, I'd still like to hear an apology from him about the mf, but...
Renny: I know it was personal between the two of you. I'm just referring to all the talks we've had upstairs.
Jerry: I'm still 100% with the team. This doesn't have anything to do with that. I had told Angie about the womanizer thing, and it got back to him, and I didn't mean it as a character attack, but he took it that way. It's probably the only thing I've regretted since i've been in the house. It's not gonna change his plans for me.
Renny: Well it might.
Jerry: I'm part of what you people said and I'm stayin there.
Renny: We all said, not you people.
Jerry: We all said. This doesn't effect that. Ya knwo what.. if youwanna get pissed about it, then F*ck it. You wanna get pissed about it...
Renny: I'm not..
Jerry: Well, you're the one harping about it.
Jerry goes.
April and Keesha say this is why we were saying to to say anything yet.
Memphis comes in @ 6:50pm BBT. Renny tells him that Jerry's apology was full of poop.
Renny: He's been upstairs talking about you.
Memphis: Look, I'm just not the kind of guy to tell someone to F off if they're making an apology. It doesn't change the way I feel about him. It doesn't take him off my hit list.
Renny tries to instigate more drama, but Keesha nips it in the bud.

Keesha invites the other women for a bubble bath upstairs. Everyone's into it.
April goes to remove the bar soap from the bathroom and replace it with soft soap.
Keesha, Libra and Renny stick around talking more about Jerry and his temper. Renny wants Keesha to be very clear that Jerry's been using her, and now he's preparing to jump ship just in case the others win HoH next week.

Libra: Even with his comments like, "Blacks stick together."
Keesha: What?!
Libra: Oh yeah... he said to me, we all know how blacks stick together.
Libra goes on to say that if she were in the sequester house, she would rather vote for Jessie to win than a floater.
They're getting a little loud. Dan comes in to use the restroom, and tells them they might want to keep it down a little, because Memphis is right outside the door, and he can hear everything. Dan goes back out.
Ollie: I wanna tell you.. Angie came to me earlier to tell me she wanted to talk to me...
Keesha: I know what she wants. She wants to get your vote. She asked me for JJ's number earlier... I'm like, what?! She wants JJ's number to get him with Steven. That's not gonna happen.

just saw your next hoh poll, and cast my vote for dan.
mainly cause my views of him have done a complete 180 degree turn from viewing his promo clips. i would also like to see interviews with his mom and dad and see their reaction to all that has gone on.

I don't get why an apology between the two guys is such an issue. Jerry said he didn't mean it maliciously but was surprised how Memphis over reacted to it. Then it caused tension between the two and I think Jerry didn't realize it was a touchy subject with Memphis. I think Jerry wanted to just get it off his chest. Everyone has some sort of baggage and sometimes we don't know when we might push a button.
I don't understand. If they know it's going to be endurance why not get rid of the biggest physical threat to you in the competition? Which would be Jessie?

I think Michelle is going to KILL an endurance comp. I think she said she used to be a wrestler. The girl works out and is strong. Ollie might do well too. April never works out, but she could hang in there.
Libra is out of shape. Memphis is a bit too bulky. Dan could be good, but he's kind of scrawny.
If production makes the endurance easier for Renny and Jerry's sake, I'll be angry.
I'm still not rooting for any specific hg's, but I'd love to see Michelle, Memphis and Jessie (or Angie) take HOH just to see the "7" scramble.
My fondest wish is that Libra would leave the house. To be honest, it's hard to watch her on the feeds anymore. When she's not in full-blown catty/chatty kathy speak, she's just sitting around glaring at people with her nostrils flaring.
I just have a feeling that the house atmosphere would be more cordial and we wouldn't have to witness as many of these immature "clique" conversations and, hopefully, people would get down to GAME.
The lame way the season is playing out, it has to happen.
Also: the more twists they introduce, the better. Anything to shake this baby up. I hope they come up with some new ideas instead of just rehashing old stuff (AP, for example) on a weekly basis.
WHY IN THE WORLD ARE THEY GIVING JERRY A HARD TIME FOR APOLOGIZING TO MEMPHIS? THESE PEOPLE ARE RIDICULOUS. This season is going to hell fast. Good for Jerry for telling them all to mind their own business and stay out of it.
It seems like the ladies are looking at Jerry's apology as game-play. Listening to Jerry, it's hard to get a read on him. He sounds sincere about it being a personal thing between Memphis and Jerry, but I can definately see where the ladies are coming from. They are making some strong arguments to him. He seems to be trying to play both sides. And I personally think he is.
It is starting to sound like game-play. He's sneaky, conniving, and manipulative.

Carolyn and Julie, I have all the Anne Rice books too. I love the Vampire series but the Mayfair Witches are my favs. Really loved it when she combined them as she closed out the series.
We were sorta neighbors before the storm. We lived about 3 blocks from her. Both her houses. No one ever knew which house she was actually in at any given time.
Her son, Christopher is an excellent writer too, but his books are more on a gay focus, since he is too.

I actually understand how they could all get paranoid about Jerry's apology. First he made a point of telling them earlier today that he would not apologize until he was leaving the house then he turns around a few hours later and apologizes. Couple that with the way he has been staring at Keesha when she talks to Memphis(it was rather creepy) and I think most people locked in a house the way these people are would be wondering if this was a gameplay move as opposed to a real apology. Jerry's "hygiene issues" just adds fuel to their anger/irritation/paranoia.
I can't believe it's the night before an eviction/hoh (probably endurance) comp and no one is talking strategy or questioning the vote between Angie and Jessie.

You know, I'm actually considering not watching this show anymore this season. For some reason, the way the house guests treat Jerry bothers me so much. He is from a different generation than the teeny boppers on the show and I just feel like they are so rude to him. If I were his family, I would want him voted out just to get away from the games these people play. At 75, Jerry has earned my respect in this game. I can't say that for most of the others.

I know i might be disliked after saying this comment but i kinda agree with the girls for questioning Jerry's motive for apologizing. I mean I remember reading how he stared when they were talking to Memphis also not to mention today when they were outside he seemed to do the same thing. He may have honestly apologized because he felt he needed to as a human being but it just seems awkard.
I'm getting a bit tired of the view held by some HGs that being out of someone's alliance means you can't be friends with them (or even civil!). Jerry's apology seemed sincere, but they always have to bring it back to the game.
Angie has to drive home to Keesha that Jessie is a big threat in a physical comp, and that he needs to go this week, or else she could be in big trouble.
I wonder if the scale in the house is the type you can adjust w/o it being noticed? I was thinking it might be a trick to play on Jessie etal by AP to make them think they're losing or gaining weight.
I really like Renny but I feel like she could turn on a dime. Sometimes when they are teasing or kidding around she seems to take it very serious. When she gets a bee in her bonnet she just can't seem to stop if from buzzing in her brain. She needs to continue to lay low like she has been & stop worrying about Jerry. He did what he did & they have to live with it but I really do not think he is going to bail on this alliance, yet! I really wish they would get out Jessie but truly I think Angie is a big threat cuz I think that girl can withstand a lot. Houston has a huge black liberal, democratic population and I am proud of her for not pushing her politics down anyone throats there. Must be a rule because I would be campaigning for Obama the whole time. What a great platform for getting out the message.

Rosaritoe, yes that was Tillman the bulldog, farter not fighter.Definitely a good skateboarder too. There was some very funny footage of him in the pool swimming in a life jacket. Just imagine his owner holding him in a lifejacket over the water and Tillman paddling before he had even been lowered into the pool. Then of course he farted in the pool, although thats better than peeing in it. Was very sad to see them go, lioked both of them.
I agree with bigdog. Jerry's apology was completely game play. I don't think it's necessarily a bad thing...you're in there to play a game and win the money. I think it was a smart move, even though it didn't change Memphis' opinion about him.
Another reason why I don't understand all of this "I gave my word" talk. Yeah...so what? You want the money? I can understand living up to your word with someone you're really tight with but most of these people gave their words the first week...FORGET YOUR WORD!!! Play the game. Jeez!!

On another note... with the first endurance comp/all nighter of the season presumably coming up it has me thinking of how soon this season will be over. We have all been spoiled having the past 3 BB so close to one another, but I doubt we'll be so lucky again. I'm just bummed thinking of the 9 months or whatever i'm gonna have to wait to enjoy all your comments again.

Hey, Noni in NJ, (sorry everyone but i gotta answer this) I share your feelings about Tillman. I wanted the chick that put those snarl bands on her dog to go. She said it didn't hurt him but it had to hurt him cuz of the way he reacted. I thought it was cruel what she did. Ok, folks, I got that off my chest! thanks!!!!!
I do worry about Renny & Jerry in an endurance but they signed up & were told this might happen but still worries me.
I'm bummed they didn't do anything for Renny's b'day & then when the house was singing HB they told them to stop singing. I am hoping they do combine all the b'days so everyone gets acknowledged who celebrates one while in the house.

I agree with the hygiene issues re Jerry. If you are creeped out by someone's hygiene or lack thereof, it colors your perceptions of that person.
I bet if they actually sai. d to him 'Jerry you're not washing your hands and that's not cool' I bet he would do it just to improve his game. It totally creeps me out. I couldn't eat food he'd touched
I don't understand why Memphis is so easily angered about being called a womanizer.

i really can't find a hg this season that i really like. except for angie. too bad she has yet to step up her gameplay. if she was smart she would make them realize that tomorrow will probably be endurance and jessie has a good chance of winning it.
i am really disappointed that she gave up as soon as she was nominated. i really get the feeling she doesn't want to be there anymore.

Noni, Tillman in the pool was great. Bulldogs cannot swim, though a lot of them (mine, too) love the water, hence the need for the vest. Otherwise you have a sinking lug :( My Tucker chased a ball into Lake Tahoe and ran across the bottom, that is how we figured it out!
Think Michelle is a good bet for an endurance...said that before, she is a tough competitor and she is playing hard. Kind of like 'payback is a bi***' She is out for revenge, though she protests.

I wish that these houseguests would actually play the game on a strategic level instead of a personal one. They are booting people out of the house because of ridiculous reasons. Which will leave Memphis or Jessie winning...and as sad as this is...if they do win..they deserve it!
As far as the apology goes, Jerry is right. It has nothing to do with anyone else besides him and Memphis! Geez, these women need to get off of their high horses. I did not mind them at first, but now it is starting to get a tad bit annoying. They are wanting Jerry out because he's irritating and annoying to them? Some kind of a damn move if you ask me!
Im rooting for Dan or Ollie now, I like the more laid back, mouth shut people. Keesha's laugh is starting to get to my ears now...I have heard many laughs in my life time, but never one that has been outrageously ridiculous as hers. How about everyone else?

Anne...I think she is ready to go too. She was really having a hard time saying goodbye to her family--especially her brother. I think she just misses them and would rather be there than in the BB house.
However, I think it's exremely silly. How old are these people? It hasn't even been 4 weeks yet. Grow up. There are 17 and 18 year olds being sent from their families for 6 months at a time to FIGHT A WAR. You're chillin' in a house in LA.

This season has me so confused. Seriously.
I didn't like Dan because of a statement he made in his interview. As I got to experience Dan, I have come to like him very much. He is decent and he is smart.
I didn't like Steven's unpc remarks, and cannot excuse them. but I grew to like his sincerity and kindness.
I like Angie, she is chill and cannto bring herself to do or say the mena things a lot of the HGs are capable of, but she turned into a limp cabbage leaf, and is sort of wiltig out of the house.
I liked Keesha, but I don't like her anymore. She is showing a spiteful and very vapid side that I do not like.
I never liked Libra or April. April, I like least.
I liked Renny, I didn't like Renny, I liked Renny, now I am off the Renny train. What she and the rest of the "spat hags" did to Jerry about his apology is actully making me ill. The man apologized. That's it. Good grief!
Okay, I have a 3-hour final exam in 12 hours. Gotta go to bed. Get up early, refresh my mind on key points, jog, shower, eat breakfast, and make it to campus on time.
But then I am off until Aug. 25th. Can bask in BBDish and live feeds to my hearts content!

Noni: I feel the same way! I think Tillman should have stayed! I yelled and cursed the tv when Ron's name was said.
I think the girl who used the snarl bands should have been booted, simply because I think that was a mean thing to do to the doggie. It didn't bother the dog my patootie! Did you see the instant change in his demeanor? She even said she knew he didn't like them.
I was holding my little Westie the whole time telling him I would never, ever do that to him.
I can't complain about my doggie farting anymore after hearing Tillman.
That dog was cute. I'll miss him.

Blue, Maybe you can convert that conservative boy. I like him too. It's hard for me to decide who I want as AP, him, Renny or Ollie. And, I hope the right winger wins and that shocks me, but he seems like a good guy. His profile is pretty radical, but he seems like a nice guy who has figured a way to fly under radar (now,) and could just win this game if he can wins some comps.

I am so super excited that tomorrow night might be an Endurance Comp! I haven't watched the feeds yet. I work as the Director of an Alzheimer's Unit in an Assisted Living, and I have a 1 year old who has been sick 3 times this month. And, I'm house hunting. Major stress. But, honestly, Big Brother always comes at the perfect time in my life. Right when I need "him"!
Anyway, I work Sunday through Thursday, so I will get to stay up and watch tomorrow night!
There are no words for how excited this makes me. About time to do something for myself right about now....

WOWSER! I missed so much fun with y'all tonight. I really have to get Danny his own computer. He refuses to feed me unless I let him have the keyboard, and I certainly have no time for cooking... the kitchen is 4 rooms back. He doesn't understand this is BB Season.

Naturally I am in the bleeding heart liberal category with so many of you, and the color of my blood is rainbow.
Now back to the game. I'm not at all surprised by the women of BB10. Just like every other season, the women screw up because they eat their own. Michelle will go a long way because I don't think she has many female genes. It makes me sad that this seems to be the thing every season. I was thinking it is time for a female winner this year but if there is one, it will be quite by accident.
Come on girls. Get off Jerry's back for a sincere apology. That was between him and Memphis. Jerry is of a generation that admitting when you are wrong and standing up and saying it is important. I don't see it as game play at all. Jerry is far from perfect and not one of my favorites, but he has stayed true to himself I think. And his word is all he has. If he makes a mistake he tries to right it. Maybe not the way we all think is right but 'right' is different to everyone in that sense.
Carolyn, I love you more than ever. I've never seen you so.... assertive. It IS your blog and your rules, which are very very lax anyway. I can't imagine what was said to get you that riled but "You geaux GF!"

I find it so funny when people compare Jerry and Renny re age. They are 21 years apart. That is also a generation.
I am Renny's age and my parents are Jerry's, so don't think they can necessarily relate either.
