Jerry says he may ask Joann if she wants to renew their vows for their 55th anniversary, which is coming up. He shares they went on a cruise in the Caribbean and Key West for their 50th. On the cruise ship, he had a dozen roses delivered to his wife at their dinner table and yellow roses for all the other women they'd been sharing the table with during the cruise.

***The music seems to be the reason for the lockdown. It's a far better alternative to fishies! Were AGP to broadcast the feeds from outside, they could be held responsible to pay royalties for every song heard... even though they were not the ones playing the music.

Glad to read confirmations of you getting the heck out of dodge, Carolyn!!!! Better safe than sorry.
I'm not sure how I feel about Memphis evicting Keesha instead of Jerry this week. I realize they think they can beat him in endurance, but he's better at the question comps, and he only needs to win two of the three to win HoH. I think they may be underestimating him too much.
The one thing I am certain of, I do not want to see Jerry win. I will admit, it's because of my personal feelings toward him. Oh well.
No matter what happens, Dan, Keesha and Renny will still be my 3 favorites this season. I love Stephen, too, but he did not make it far enough, so I got to know the others more than him.
I would hope that Memphis and Dan realize that even if Keesha were to win a part of the final 3 HOH comps, she would have to win the final part to send one of them out.
In my eyes, and I hope they figure it out also, it has got to be better to take Keesha, and gamble that she might win the last HOH, than to have to live with Jerry for even one more day longer than they have to.
Also, she would be less likely to be mad at them, and hold a grudge, if she were kept to the final 3. I don't think either of them will be able to ever live with it if Jerry were to stay, and then somehow make it to the final 2. He might even win it all if that were to happen, and that would just be sad.

And Noni, I have to agree with you when you wrote in an earlier post that you were disappointed in Renny's interviews. I agree. Not only did she kind of shrug her shoulders when asked about her friendship with Keesha, but just about everything she said was coming off as "America, please vote for me as America's Favorite". I kept hearing that between the lines in just about everything she said, without her actually saying it. I don't much care for people who over and over tell you what wonderful, loving people they are and how much they did for others. I will not vote for her as America's favorite, I am voting for Keesha who is a real person, and not someone who goes around tooting their own horn, so to speak.
And what happened to Keesha? She can't win the 'must win' comps to save her life! Anyone think she is totally burned out? I watch her and wish I could just reach through my computer and give her a hug...........♥

Hello everyone! Well, I planned on coming back to the computer at 12 am BBT (3 am for me) to wait on the POV comp with all of you. But, I was watching BBAD first and dozed off in the last few minutes, lol. I wasn't to happy to read this morning that Memphis won the POV. I was hoping Keesha would win it.
I just caught up on all the posts and all the comments and I see that most of you think that there's a very good chance that Dan and Memphis will vote out Keesha. When I was watching BBAD last night before the comp, I sort of came to that conclusion myself. I fell asleep hoping so much that Keesha would win this POV just to ensure that she stays in it and makes it to Final 3.
I really hope that it's just manipulation by AGP in the DR, as some of you suggested. They might be just trying to get Dan and Memphis to talk about the options and not make it so obvious that Jerry is a goner. I know that they make them say stuff like that for the DR sessions, just to have it for editing in the show. *BUT, I believe that we are now witnessing the first time EVER that AGP has prodded players into talking like this on the feeds in an effort to trick the live feed viewers. And, that just TICKS me OFF!! One of the reasons people get the feeds is to see the REAL talk between the players, rather than just the edited clips shown on the tv episodes. I am so ticked off at the thought that we are watching Dan and Memphis play out a script given to them by AGP!
Well, I'm mad, but I'm also hoping that's the case, actually - because that will at least mean that Jeery WILL be shown the door on Tuesday and Keesha will stay.
After seeing Dan and Memphis so proud of themselves the last couple of days, and last night on BBAD, I want Keesha to win more than ever. Yes, I know they have good game play, BUT Keesha has been working with them, helping them, and trusting them for so long now that it would suck if they turn on her at the end.
Sorry, I have so much more to say, ha ha. I'll do it in another comment, though.
I really think voting out Keesha now would cost Dan or Memphis in the end if Jerry somehow got to the final 2.

Sorry to disappear folks, we lost power here just as I was typing a comment. Am now over at Other Granddmothers, checking in on the feeds and Dish. We heard a loud pop and went dark. OG lives in Barnegat far enough away not to be affected. I was in the middle of talking to her on the phone when it went out so I had to come over to reassure her. yummy they're having pot roast! Good timing on my part. It is not blowing that bad yet and no lightning so not sure of what caused outage, but will hang here for a while rather than return to a dark house alone until bedtime. Gonna backtrack now and read the current post and comments.
All along I have said I was going to vote for Renny for America's Favorite but I am now leaning toward Keesha. Yes, her game has been off since Renny left & that hurt her a lot. But, after seeing some of Renny's interviews I am not so sure I want to see her win anything. I don't know where her head is at. But, Keesha has played a much, much better game. She was the one who always had to explain everything to Renny. She even had to explain the last POV to her because Renny still thought if she won it & used it on Keesha that she could have been put on the block.
I am so hoping this is a ploy by AGP to keep it exciting & the guys are not truly thinking of keeping Jerry. I couldn't stand it. And if they did that, as much as I have liked Dan & Mem my thoughts about them would be totally reversed. Things have worked for them & they should be proud of what they have done but backing out on Keesha is not going to sit well with me.
Carolyn - Good luck on keeping sane! I'm so sorry it is such a worrisome day for you. And, doesn't sound like Mom is helping much. Poor thing, she is digging her heels in, huh? I will continue to pray for it all to go smooth!

I too was disappointed in Renny's housecalls interview. Sometimes she rambles and seems like she is in a fog,then ends the sentence without answering the question and gives a big cheese smile...weird.
Also Gretchen always has to make at least one political remark in every show. I guess I'm just used to the rules here so it rubs me wrong. Carolyn thanks for keeping us focus on bb here at the dish.
I saw Renny on HC's, and maybe she is hedging her bets with Keesha. Saying "We'll see" about keeping in touch with Keesha, she may truly care about her, but isn't sure if Keesha was only using her in the house. So, just in case, she doesn't want to be left with egg on her face, in case she later finds out Keesha didn't feel the same about her as she did about Keesha.
Maybe when she is able to confirm that their friendship was real, and not one-sided, she will be all too happy to continue their friendship.
I realize I'm going out on a limb to try and defend her, I'm just not going to read too much into it. I can't help but imagine that walking out of the house has a

Here's the thing with booting Keesha now. Suppose she doesn't win F3 HOH. She then must rely on one of these boys to take her to F2. Whichever one makes that decision loses her vote.
I know Dan's mind is working overtime with vote possibilities now. He's taking Michelle on a trip (we assume) to work her vote. He knows if he continues to let Keesha think he wants to keep her and Memphis evicts her that's another vote for him. Add Renny and possibly Libra and Dan wins against Memphis, someone who really hasn't ticked anyone off.
The problem I'm finding with liking almost all the remaining players (yuck-Jerry) is they have to turn on each other. How else do you get to the finals?

Patti: like you, I think I will be tempted to cancel my feeds if they keep Jeery. As it is now, I usually just have my Real Player minimized, with the volume on and I look at it if something interesting happens. But lately, all I keep doing is turning off the volume, because I can't stand to hear Jerry. I also hate seeing him on BBAD, and if I DVR'd it, I just fast forward when he's on.
Also, I agree with you and Msfitz about Renny. She has kind of turned me off in her exit interviews. If Keesha is in the Jury House (which I really hope she is NOT!), I will DEFINITELY vote for her over Renny!!
If Jeery hasn't seen the "platinum POV" maybe, just maybe Dan can tell him it was part of the luxury comp prize and tell him he's using it on Keesha!!

Being a BB fan, like all of you, I of course have watched House Calls. I don't know why though. It's so highly disappointing because, firstly Gretchen doesn't seem to know very much about the game or the episodes, let alone the feeds. Of all of them. the only one who knows what's really going in is Danielle.
The whole show is so sanitized, it's pointless in watching.
There is not much to comment about the house right now, except that I am disgusted that Dan is going with the plan to evict Keesha. I expected it from Memphis, but not Dan. I guess I was being naive.

I really have to disagree with some who have said Renny was tooting her own horn and asking use to vote her the fan fave -- she was told she IS the fan fave and she simply responded to that honestly and sincerely, in typical Renny fashion. I also don't believe she is turning her back on Keesha, I see her response of 'we'll see' as simply being realistically guarded. At this point it is hard to know how much was sincere and how much was game. Even though she knows how SHE feels for Keesha, it is probably difficult to be 100% sure it was so on Keesha's part. I really think that is an acceptable answer given the unique circumstances.
Renny is STILL my favorite and I'm still voting for her for America's Favorite, assuming we will get that opportunity.

I am doing much better now. I ended up with a fever and the worst headache that I've ever had. I had chills and nausea that lasted until late last night. The pain killers were useless because I couldn't keep any thing down. I just had some toast and it is the first thing that I've eaten since Thursday morning. First thing I did this morning I checked in to see what I had missed and saw a gorrila. Yikes thought that maybe I was still sick.
Zany, nice gift! I use mine all the time. It's not just for cakes. Whenever I make brownies or cookies, I put them on a plate in the covered cake stand. They stay nice and fresh that way. The only problem is that we can see them through the glass so they tempt us every time we walk into the kitchen. So, ha ha, they don't last long enough for freshness to be a concern!
Wonder what that DR leak was all about? There are so many little things going on it's hard to figure it all out.
Carolyn-I hope your ride helped you to relax & get your mind off stuff!

Carolyn, how was your ride? I am so frantic for you and your mom now. Just got power back on here and checked WC right away for news of IKE. OMG, girl it has ramped up again! Are you all packed? They seem uncertain as to what it is going to do so I assume you are getting out of Dodge. Scared to death that it will cross into the gulf and cause more trouble there.
Our little brush with Hanna has been nothing much, minor inconvenience, power outage only lasted about 4hrs, Rain and wind have been similar to what we see in Noreasters. Windy and wet blowing small stuff around. No flooding right here and hope we don't lose power again. Nothing for us compared to what you folks may have to do with.

Other grandmother peeked at the feeds while I was there and saw Jeery doing his pushup routine in the living room. I have been educating her on the real BB and Jeery. She is a TV only and thinks he is an old sweetie. I showed her the posts and what he's been up too, shewa shocked.
All I can say is Dan and Memphis had better keep Keesha and dump Jeery. I will be so disappointed if they don't. I hate to use the word deserve after the way certain hgs abuse it but Keesha really does deserve to go to F3. togethyer we have celebrated the Fab 4. I hated seeing Renny leave before Jeery and will be even more upset if he outlasts Keesha, especially after all she has done to keep those two guys in the house. I can't stand listening to a single word out of his trap anymore.

Anon @4:58 - While I am a huge proponent of calling people as soon as a gift is received to acknowledge that it arrived, I don't hold to that rule for gifts sent before a wedding.
Although some say that etiquette would require a prompt thank you be sent for gifts received prior to the wedding, there are two reasons why I don't agree with that:
The usual etiquette rules allow for three moths after a wedding to send out all the thank you notes. Many new couples like to wait for their pictures to be in so they can include one in the thank you card. I personally LOVE having a small wedding pic of the couple, so I would not mind receiving the thank you after the wedding.
Secondly, I would never impose such a strict rule on a busy bride right before the wedding! There are often many, many gifts sent in just the two or three weeks leading up to the wedding. If I thought that my sending the gift prior to the wedding would mean that a bride who is already way too stretched for time with last minute wedding details and work (getting ready for a honeymoon, and vacation from work), then I would never send my gift prior to the wedding.
Basically, if you're concerned as to whether or not the gift actually arrived at the destination, simply arrange for a delivery confirmation through the post office if that's how it was sent. With UPS, FedEx, etc. you'll already have tracking information and a confirmation.

I don't want to see Keesha go. I have to admit that Dan has played a great game from the get-go and I do like Memphis--but he really hasn't played the game til here at the end. I think everyone carried him and then he wants to out Keesha after she has protected him. It just sucks. I thought they were close. I would love for Keesha to come behind and win just so she could rub it in April's face. I know--my personal feelings--but April just has no grounding in reality. We ALL know she has done nothing to embarass her family. OH...I pray that everyone stays safe if you're in the cones of uncertainty as they call them. Thank God Louisiana fared better than Katrina. Holy crap, Samantha, guess I hit a nerve. I appreciate that you acknowledge gifts as they arrive. When I receive, from the bride, their gift registry months in advance of the wedding and I send a gift soon thereafter, I don't want to wait until months later, after the wedding, that they actually received the gift. So perhaps the rules are different when the bride sends out her gift registry way, way before the wedding.
Carolyn, no need to apologize! I'm so amazed, impressed and grateful for all that you do and honestly don't know how you do it all.

I just heard from my mom & grandmother who are worried because I live at the shore and there is flooding- they don't want me to leave the house but don't want me to stay either! lol, and they are calling me every 5 minutes driving me meshugg! lol.
This is the thing - I refuse to leave my cats under any circumstances, and its not that bad. I still have electricity (though its flickering)- so you take care of you and do the best you can with Mom and we will all be here for you.

I've never really seen people send the wedding gifts months in advance as you say you do, but maybe that depends on what area of the country you live in. In my experience, most gifts are sent in just the last few weeks before the wedding (or as I said earlier, up to a month prior). In any event, to be sure that it's been received, I would recommend delivery confirmation. I send gifts to family throughout the country all year long, and I like to track it online and know as soon as it's received.
Oh geez, sorry so off topic, everyone. That's what happens when the BB house gets so boring, I guess.
Back to BB - does anyone know why BB took away the grill? I would have thought they would have left it there for the rest of the season. It sure would have made cooking a lot easier for them.

Just wanted to concur with Blue regarding Renny on House Calls.
I was thinking exactly that. When you leave it must feel like climbing out of a haze. I'm sure there's quite a bit of culture shock (hence the psychologists they all have access to).
As well - Renny's always seemed to have some difficulty being coherent when she's interviewed. I'm kind of like that myself. I can hold my own in groups, but put me at the centre of attention and I become incoherent and have trouble formulating my thoughts.

Carolyn, please get some rest and try to relax a little bit. You are under a great deal of stress right now and we want you to take care of yourself first. I know how difficult moms can be. I have one in my ear constantly but I love her to death anyways. my daughter probably says the same thing about me.
BB isn't going anywhere and we will all feel better if we know you are taking care of yourself and your mom. Maybe she needs a few tranquilizers to put her in a more pliable mood. My dad once had to slip my mom a few valium to get her to leave Sanibel in the early 80's during a hurricane. Worked great.
Lack of sleep always makes everything worse. Please just make sure that you and mom are safe. we'll be here with open arms and hugs when you're back. You have had to deal with more than your share of problems and listened to all of ours and I'm sure worried over all of us here who have had do deal with storms and other challenges. If there is anything any of us can do please ask. Just get done what you need to do for yourself and your family.
Please let us know if and when you leave so we can wish you a safe journey and know that you are out of Ikes path.

Bryan opened the box and I was right, it's the footed domed cake plate.
I've sent out thank yous for all of the gifts I received at the bridal shower. All of the wedding gift givers will get a thank you after the wedding...I don't want to risk the chance of me forgetting that I sent out a note, so everything is getting listed and taken care of after next weekend.

Just as I was going to log on last night, we lost our power here in NJ. It was only out for about 2 hours, but then I did not get the internet back until sometime during the night. It was still off and on all morning.
