Good Morning, Big Brother Lovers!! Happy Saturday! :) The boys were up late last night talking about the jury questions, as well as just about everyone on the jury, and all of that is covered in the previous post and comment section: After the Jury QnA. Many thanks to everyone who stayed up late and helped with the coverage!
It's very important to remember, as soon as the Jury QnA was over last night, the jury members were separated, not allowed to talk to each other and whisked away to a hotel, where they will all remain in separate rooms, and allowed to open their doors only to the producers until the finale. Any campaigning that was going to happen on behalf of either of the 2 finalists has to have been completed before the QnA. Of course, they didn't know that going into it...

BB2 Krista is hosting the auction, and it comes complete with an autographed pic of Krista and Ophilia together. :)

Morning All, well my first morning anyway. Just checking in for any overnight action I missed and thanks to Samantha for catching the late late convo. I'd turned off my feeds to listen more closely to the weather news on Ike.
We can't get through to Danny's mother this morning.. all circuits busy type stuff, but I recall having that same problem with our T-Mobile 3 years ago, so not terribly concerned, just concerned. It looks like the worst part of the storm is in her area as I type.
So if I'm awake, once the boiz wake up, I'll be back.

I can't remember another season where the first evicted houseguest played such a big impact on the entire game.
Brian's early moves set the tone for evictions, and made Dan go into "weak player" mode. People talked about Brian for the entire duration of this show. No other first evictee has gotten as much pub as Brian.
Also, remember when Brian exited the house and Julie asked him who he thought could win the game? His answer was Memphis. Wow!
Brian's first alliance partner, Dan, is up against the guy Brian thought might have the best chance to win the game.
Dan deserves to win this game, but I think the jury will go personal and hand Memphis the big prize. I'm happy for both, but I think this Final show will leave me feeling like when Lisa was given the top prize over Danielle in BB3. The best player doesn't always win.
No one was happy about the gas price gouging!! I'm glad people spoke up and are fighting it!!

Gaytor- Hope Danny's mother is safe and sound.
Carolyn, I wonder if AGP has any idea how us 'feed' viewers feel about their versions of some of the HG? Know they have a reason for the way they portray some of the HG, but when they advertise live feed and BBAD that actually shows truthfully what is going on in the house, how do they reconcile TV portrayal? I know, probably stupid question, but has always bothered me.
These days, many people have BBAD and that at least showed a little bit of the nasty Jerry...am I just being stubborn in my views?

I hope the vile members of the jury (A/M/O/J) will actually think logically for once and do the right thing.
They are such a hateful little crew. Renny is crazy, but she's smart. Keesha know Dan was part of her eviction, but still gives him credit for playing a good game. And as it has been said before, Libra will vote from a game standpoint and not out of revenge.
I hope it comes out at the finale once and for all that the stupid banna was fake. Just to make Michelle look bad...again.
And, I hope that Libra's husband shows up at wrap party wearing a Hawaiian shirt to rub in Michelle's face, haha.
I wish I could be a fly on the wall when April is told that her dignity can be seen all over the internet and on now on the re-feeds.

I'm off to a friends house. I doubt I stay long, I usually don't. She has 2 dogs, 5 cats, a dozen chickens and roosters(2 of whom live IN the house), several aquariums-including lizards and a tarantula.....I always feel like I'm visiting a zoo. A few years ago she had a pet pot-bellied pig named Roofus who had his own bedroom, and for almost a year she had 2 cougars who lived in the house. If I don't check back in soon, someone please call the ASPCA, maybe they will rescue me.

Good morning carolyn so sad you have the back problem I have a hip and knee thingy 8 years now] I try and be grateful for the good days and if you dont have your own little Gizmo and are able get one I rescued my little boy Gypsy 2 years ago he is a lhasa apso and believe it or not his name was gizmo he was is my first dog and I changed his name so he wouldnt be reminded of his past life he was 1 when i found him and when I have a bad day he will get next to me and kiss my neck look at me with so much sympathy I have to laugh I guess im saying for me it more then love it is therapeutic. Now to get to bb and the money I want Dan to win he did play the best game and I dont believe he will blow the money . Keesha for 25,000 as she did say she wants dental work so i am voting for her on my two names and my husbands as well. Praying for all the Texans more then once we have been without power for aweek or more that is so hard..i guess all of us the gulf coast of fl. have been thu that love you all and I will truly miss this site

This has been my fave season ever with the most HGs I've liked ever. The Fab 4 were awesome. Add in Brian, Angie and Steven that is 7 really entertaining, neat individuals. Good job AGP.

Hey Carolyn, I am so sorry that your bad has been giving you a real rough couple of days. You have been very quiet about it lately. I had hoped it was a bit better. you really need some serious pampering and rest as soon as this is over. Until it is please take it easy, and stay horizontal as much as possible.
I spend a good deal of time here at Dish in bed with my laptop and about 6 pillows arranged in a very strange configuration.
These days I very rarely use the desktop, just too damn uncomfortable. I usually stretch out on the sofa, my comfy recliner, or lie on my side in bed
There have been so many so many well thought out comments here last night and today, that there doesn't seem to be anything I can add that hasn't already been said. I agree with almost all.
I too hate to see the winner chosen in an emotional decision. To me there is no question that the best gameplay wins the game and there is no doubt who has that.
Shamrock made such an interesting point about Brian being the first to leave but having such a big part in how the game played out. Smart guy too, but thought he was smarter than he really was.
Are April and Ollie done? Or will they be clawing there way through the air conditioning ducts for a secret rendevous while separated?
Will Ollie's dad take him to the woodshed for a little "talk" when he gets home?
Will Jeery be moving into the dog house when he gets home? I don't think even the strays at the shelter will want to room with him.
Will April find some new professional athletes to "escort" her when she gets out? I imagine with her notoriety she may have to look in remote place in the world. Perhaps the Captain of the championship firewalking team somewhere in the South Pacific.
Will CBS come up with a sitcom idea starring Renny, Keesha, and Dan so we can keep on seeing our favorites, and piss of April no end? Ok, Memphis too, but somehow I think he will be following all those business schemes he has planned. I think he will find after taxes 50k isn't going to go very far (especially after a nice big shiny diamond for Ashley)
Will we see Monica, Keesha, and Ashley all sporting Diamonds in the near future. I certainly hope so.

N2RealityTV - I hope your sister made it through all right. Glad you're okay too. We are getting nothing but wind today also & probably won't get a drop of rain. So strange to think that all that flooding is going on just a few hours away & we are dry as a bone. But, we were definitely spared from the inital predictions they had earlier in the week for us.

I love the friendship these 2 guys have formed. They are dreaming a lot about the future & good things will come to them as long as the ideas are flowing. Sometimes, when I am all wrapped up into the computer or reading or watching T.V. my cat will start crying & as soon as I stop what I am doing & play with him & give him some extra attention he is good!

msfitz, she seems ok now. She was crying more than usual, so I thought something was wrong with her. This morning one of her eyes wouldn't open and I had to put a warm cloth on it. She's a long haired and moments before she was cleaning herself and got something in it. I thought maybe her eye was bothering her again.
It's too bad Sunday's show is about the jury house. I'd like to see the questioning more than the snippets that are shown at the finale.

Hi everyone! Sorry Carolyn about your back, I know how back pain is! OUCH! I hope you feel better soon!
I haven't been here for a couple days except to check in and read as many comments as I can. I had to leave right after the 1st endurance and go with my daughter to the ER. She is pregnant and was having pressure pains. After the problems she had with her 1st pregnancy (with my twin grand-daughters) the pain scared her and she wanted to go have it checked out. We were there all night! She is fine now.
Yesterday was my birthday so I wasn't online a whole lot.
I have a question for all you BB experts. Do all the computers in my house have the same IP address or will votes from every computer count? I have voted for Keesha every day .... here and at my daughter's house. Just wanted to know if I voted on the other 2 computers here if they would count. My best friend is voting for Renny, she is a tv only viewer and I have to trump her votes! hee hee!
I pray that everyone in Texas and surrounding areas affecetd by Ike is safe. And I hope everyone else has a wonderful weekend!

How many times have we said, "I knew it! This group is going to screw over the better player and vote emotionally!" Every time.
How many times have we been wrong and they voted properly? Every time since sequester was created in season four.
Don't get me wrong, there is always one or two jurors who think with their heart but it's never enough to change the vote.
A few people hit the nail on the head in the last comment section. It seems like the person who is going to get the most votes gets the most questions/grilling. That's because they did more and created more bad feelings. Asking the questions is a form of therapy. It lets them get their emotions out before casting that vote for the person who screwed them over on the way to winning. Without those questions they might vote emotionally.
These people are adults who get a few days to stew and come to peace with the fact that they got played. As childish and horrible as some were they usually make the right choice.
I'm still going to be nervous on Tuesday night but I'l also confident that the majority of the jurors will do the right thing and vote for Dan.
(That's nothing against Memphis. He did play a great game. Dan's was just that much better, IMO.)
Laqiuta, sorry to hear about your daughter, hope she will be okay and the discomfort subsides.

I swear I am going to quit Pogo. O meet all the pervs, and it doesn't seem to matter what time of day it is, ick. I do not want to hear descriptions of hearing about guys sitting around without their boxers.(today) and one last night I can't even repeat, really creepy. Also had one started a game of cribbage said he wanted to take my face in his hands and lick it all over, double ick!!!

Jeremy so true, just have never seen so much hatred and bitterness as this season.
Memphis did play a very good game too, albeit a very different one from Dan. Letting Dan take most of the heat was smart on its own. I really want Dan to come in first but both guys deserve to do really well. Its a shame 1st and 2nd place are so vastly different in their value, but of course that is a huge part of the game. I am sure Memphis will have a huge following in the LA area as will Keesha.
I hope this success doesn't change Dan, he has a good head on his shoulders but some hgs seem to go overboard after with all the attention, and the emotional stress of the confinement.
I wonder how long the paranoia about being watched and listened to lasts.

Hi Genie, Sorry I missed you. Yes, that behind the scenes control room is more intense than I thought it was. I imagined some little "Skippy" all alone with his BB "Whirly-Bird" hat on flipping switches and zooming in on the drama (not to mention the porn angles..hehe).
I do hope the jury votes with game play in mind. Unfortunately, I don't think they can get past their vanity to do this except for Keesha and possibly Renny. After watching all the interviews on House Calls this season, Keesha is the only one who never made the interview about MEMEME.
Noni, I live in Phoenix, I don't think any team player will touch April with a ten foot pole..haha. She is way too easy, if you get my drift. What, did it take 24 hrs. to land Ollie in Bed? There is a reason why she never landed a meaningful relationship with any of the players she bragged about. One trist with her and she becomes your worst nightmare!! Why is it when she even fakes a smile, her lower mouth looks like this :(
Please America, vote for Keesha. Let's get the message to April. I think we all want to see her reaction.

Oh - have I missed this every season? I don't remember ever reading that the jury was whisked away to a hotel after the jury questioning and kept away from eachother. Do they do that every season? Actually, I LOVE this idea, because it gives people more time to think about the HG answers and decide for themselves on the Final vote without being influenced any further by other jurors.

Sorry to hear about your back problems. I too am a long time sufferer of the bad back. Many years of therapy later this is what works for me EFT. If you've never heard of it just do a Google search. At first it sounds like voodoo but it really does work and it's easy to do. It's bio-feedback basically. Tapping on pressure points and positive reinforcement. If you have the means, I get it through the VA Hospital, electronic bio-feedback can work wonders too. It teaches your brain to relax which in turn takes the tension out of your back and shoulders or where ever and helps you sleep better too. Pain drugs never worked for me but this does, hope it helps.
I think the jury will vote for the best player in the end. The thing that does worry me is Dan did a lot of stuff for "good TV" that really didn't have much to do with the game and that may still sink him. Making Renny say Ollie's name in the roulette could cost him that vote. Doubtful unless she has really changed her mind about Memphis but we'll see.
Cat owner here. He is old and if he doesn't get his way will let me know about it very loudly and annoyingly. He's much like a HG sleeps 20 some hours a day :)

I have absolutely no life because I've been sitting here watching Dan & Memphis play with their remote controlled cars for too long. But, just wanted to comment that Dan mentioned the "Platinum Power of Veto" to Memphis, so he must have shown that to him already. These guys are so entertaining! :)

Hey everyone ... we hadda evacuate again, the levees broke here for hurricane ike, which we were only in the tropical storm part of it... and now we have thousands of homes underwater. I live 9 foor off the ground but im not sure what im going back to whenever the water resides. Its never been this bad and widespread before. The water is in places no one ever thought it was possible to flood.
Anyways I wanted to keep in touch. Im at my daughters house and were safe from the storm but omgawd im sick of this... I dont wanna think bout the mess we have to go too when we get to go home.
Surely its time for us to move...

BoyZ will be BoyZ...
I woke up for about half of BBAD and laughed myself silly at these two. They have to be the most entertaining F2 in BB history, and I don't even think they are thinking of us as they are playing like 12 year-old's with their toys.
They run from room to room and have a very short attention span. They play Texas Hold 'Em with Hershey's Miniatures, They toss cards in a hat, they feed Debbie, but watching them run around the yard trying to catch a moth is the funniest part. The "you do it, NO YOU do it, No, I'm not gonna do it" routine is hilarious. It doesn't hold their interests long and they are off to play another game. I am glad AGP isn't feeding them Ritalin. I rather admire their concentration disorders.
It's not really much worse than I have seen them at the rest of the season but now that game is off they can really play hard. As the accountants of the world say... 'we work hard and we play harder.' Their work is done. Eleven grueling weeks of it. I wonder how long, once they get back home and all the initial press is over, will it be before they are ready to be men again and get back to the 9 to 5 routines of daily existence.
Anyway, I am entertained, and not even in my usual pervish ways. They could change that in a flash, but I'm just as happy watching the overgrown children at play.
I still don't know what the giant foil ball is all about. It's not round but it is somewhat symmetrical from what I've seen. It sorta reminds me of a giant brain. I know one thing for sure. It's way too big to come out of Jessie's head.
Carolyn, I am super glad you are getting some rest, but GURL!! You aren't giving me ANYTHING to work with here. I really need a straight man! Know where I can find one? I don't care if he's been bent before. I can bend him again. :p~
