Happy Sunday!! Chelsia's Bloggin' with the Chicks & Answering Your Questions!

Good Morning, BB Lovers!! Happy Sunday and Happy Sunday Show Day! We'll be back tonight in time for a little pre-show gathering and, as always, we look forward to hanging with you during the show. :)

In the meantime, please enjoy Chelsia's latest blog and her answers to tons of your questions! As with all posts on BBDish, copying and pasting elsewhere is not allowed. Please do feel free to link to this post. Here's the direct url:

http://bbdish.blogspot.com/2008/09/happy-sunday-chelsias-bloggin-with.html

Here's Chelsia!!

I'm sooo happy with the final two!! I do have to say that I felt really bad for Jerry while the renegades were acting like they were not getting along. That poor old man really thought Memphis had his back. The competitions were cool; I really liked the boxing one. I'm still blown away by the difference in times between Jerry and Memphis! If you're reading this anywhere but bbdish.blogspot.com, it has been copied, pasted and stolen. Remove immediately.

I can't believe this season is basically over!! I'm excited to see what BB will be showing us on Sunday's show.

I'm also ooobbber-stoked about this week!!! Joshy and Sharon will be here on Tuesday!! I can't wait! I've been worried sick about Joshy and his family with the hurricane, but, so far, everything is ok. If you're reading this anywhere but bbdish.blogspot.com, it has been copied, pasted and stolen. Remove immediately.

I'm happy that BB is doing another America's favorite juror - I would like to see Renny or Keesha get it, but I have a feeling Jerry will "somehow" end up getting it.

Just because the season is basically over doesn't mean you can stop checkin in with the Dish Chicks!! I will be giving the Dish Chicks some footage from the wrap party, and I'm gonna try to take my camera to the finale, but, in the email I got, it said that we are not able to bring in cameras or cell phones to the finale, so I guess I'll have to see. :)If you're reading this anywhere but bbdish.blogspot.com, it has been copied, pasted and stolen. Remove immediately.

Since I am happy with the final two, either one winning is ok with me. But, I do feel like, for game play, Dan totally deserves it!! Hopefully the jurors will see that, too!! I can't wait to see the round table discussion and hear what everyone has to say.

I was reading some comments from my last blog, and here are some answers to your questions!!! Yiiipppiiiieeeee! ;)

In the jury house we were able to see the DVD from the last week; it is a very, very, VERY edited version, no DR's and not even the whole competitions. We could only watch the DVD once and then it went back with the producers. If you're reading this anywhere but bbdish.blogspot.com, it has been copied, pasted and stolen. Remove immediately.

Before the round table started, the producers met with us and told us to ask any questions we wanted to. They wanted us to bring up personal stuff and game play. Personally, I had been in sequester for a few weeks, so I had time to get over it…so, when I voted, it came down to who I felt had played a better game.

After the finale, there isn't really a psych exam - they call it debriefing. Basically, all the producers meet with everyone, one at a time, and they tell you how you were portrayed and what is on the internet about you.. For me…gay porn was the biggie. They congratulate you, make sure you are ready for questions, and just prep you for what you are about to experience.

After the show, BB does not give us any footage. :( My mom taped all the shows for me, but I still haven't watched them. BB did give us a BB9 hoodie and hat, as well as an autographed pic of the whole cast. They also sent us some stuff from the show with our names on it, and cute lil things from comps. If you're reading this anywhere but bbdish.blogspot.com, it has been copied, pasted and stolen. Remove immediately.

Would I do BB again…HELL, YESSS!!!! I would play differently, but there is no doubt in my mind that I would do it in a heartbeat!!

As for regretting things that I did in the house, I really don't ever like to go back and have regrets, but I definitely am ashamed of some of my actions and things I said in the house. That house can really bring out the ugly in someone and that's something that it definitely did to me…which is very embarrassing at times.

If there were another Allstars, and I was asked, yes, I would do it!! But…I really don't think anyone from my season would make Allstars - we sucked at gameplay!

I got to see my mom right after the backyard interviews; as for any other family or friends, I didn't get to see them until I arrived back in Iowa. If you're reading this anywhere but bbdish.blogspot.com, it has been copied, pasted and stolen. Remove immediately.

Question about April and production…yes, production will tell April and Ollie everything that has been shown on the internet.

I am in contract with CBS for one year…since I am in contract there are some things I am not allowed to talk about. So, I am sorry if I'm beating around the bush with some of these questions (DR). We were never allowed to see a person in the DR, only voices.

BB does not provide any clothing for us; when you make the show, they do tell you to bring a couple of nice outfits. I had always planned on wearing my black dress only on the day of the finale, so that's why you guys hadn't seen it. If you're reading this anywhere but bbdish.blogspot.com, it has been copied, pasted and stolen. Remove immediately.

The BB house is well maintained; it's just that everything in it is fake…I know, what?? I explain it as being one big sticker!! Everything was a sticker - the counter top, wallpaper, floors. So, it's not that the house isn't well maintained, it's just what the house is made out of.

The HOH lockdown is for producers to walk around the house and make sure everything is working right for the live show, ex.: lights, cameras, and all that jazz.

When I was evicted, I went right to the jury house. In season 9, the jurors didn't get to go on Housecalls.

Ok…if I had to go back, I still would have wanted James as my partner. As for us on a personal level, we never dated after BB; our relationship was very different, and, in all honesty, it was me. I had a hard time getting over what he had not told me. James also changed after the show. We are still friends and always will be, the kid is great. If you're reading this anywhere but bbdish.blogspot.com, it has been copied, pasted and stolen. Remove immediately.

I am living in LA and, yes, I'm back in school. To be totally honest, I have noooo idea what the hell I am doing and it gets very frustrating. BB definitely messes with you. I have never been this confused before. I know I will eventually study abroad, but, right now, I am trying to focus on school and surviving in this expensive city. I would love to get into broadcasting or television hosting, so I have been working on that, as well. I guess we'll see where this all takes me. :) If you're reading this anywhere but bbdish.blogspot.com, it has been copied, pasted and stolen. Remove immediately.

Also…I have sooo many people contacting me, asking how I got on BB and how can I help them. First off, I have NO pull; I can not help anyone. Second, BB is crazy!! They can do anything!! They know who they want and how to find them. BB found me; I never sent anything in, they actually called me. They found me because I had a rival on season 8 and we almost made season 8 together. Thank God we didn't!! I can tell anyone who is interested to just be yourself and don't be shy or timid. They don't want people like that! And…GOOD LUCK!!! If you're reading this anywhere but bbdish.blogspot.com, it has been copied, pasted and stolen. Remove immediately.

Thanks again for all your great comments and questions!! I'm sorry I didn't answer them all, but I gotta get my lil butt to work. :( Stay tuned for wrap party footage!!!!

Good morning all! I read Gaytor's last comment in the Saturday post and I agree. These boys are so cute to watch. When they're not talking business deals you'd think they were 11-12 years old! I missed most of last night though zonked out with a migraine.

Hope you get some more rest Carolyn.

Hi all and Happy Sunday!

Just wanted to share...since Carolyn linked Lessa to begin with, she has a great recap of Saturday fun and games in the bb house as well as a fabulous video tribute of the renegades...

( am i allowed to write her site?? bigbrothercraze)

Woo Hoo...Sunday show..should be fun to watch - let's see if they show anything we dont already know about....

Glad to hear you are feeling better, Carolyn...I had back surgery back in '95...and still get episodes about once a year...once the back goes bad, it never seems to be 100%...stress always goes into your weakest body part, so I totally sympathize...

Good Morning Carolyn and Fellow Dishers!

We survived Ike! Thankfully we have power - it flickered a couple of times but managed to stay on. We did get around 47mph winds and TONS of rain, but so far as we can tell, no damage to the outside of the house.

My thoughts and prayers are still with all the ones without power and who have flooded homes...

Gonna go catch up on all the comments...posting now as laptop is acting up!

Mornin' y'all .....

Chelsia is right, BB9 didn't have many players with "game" skills. It seemed like it took forever before people started playing the game in that house. I still say that the way production aligned players in that "joust" HoH comp changed the game, and was the beginning of the landslide in the Adam/Sheila/Ryan/Natty alliance wins.

What a difference in the quality of the final two of BB10 vs BB9. Dan and Memphis treat women right, and overall are quality men. I can't say the same about BB9's final twosome.

Thanks so much Chelsia for the answers to our questions. I know everyone here really appreciates it. We love your blogging, but getting to hear about the "inside" is really special. We can't get anything like that anywhere else and we love that you are willing to share it.

I know 2 cents from a total stranger is worth about 2 cents, but being in your 20's is confusing even if you haven't been through the BB mind fark. Actually, life is pretty damn confusing at any age. Trust your gut and don't be afraid to take risks. The worst that can happen is you fail miserably and feel like crap for a while. Then you try again. Failing is better than not trying.

Thanks for hanging with us. You rock.

Thanks Chelsia! I love your answers now. I can't wait to see what you have to say after your 1 year is up with CBS. I think we all know one thing about you and it is that you don't hold back. Only the CBS Legal Dept. can keep you a 'little' quiet now. ;)

G'moning Carolyn. Glad to hear you are almost 100% but CAREFUL LADY! It's that part that isn't in the 100% that will snap when you least expect it. (Voice of experience here. I'm still waiting for my snap from my ordeal of standing in line for so long on Tuesday... usually 3 to 5 days and it hits me.)

Dingy, I'm glad you are safe. I didn't realize Houmo flooded again. I saw news footage of Lafitte and it's 6 feet of water which looked "almost" as bad as the Lower 9th from Katrina. Stay safe and don't worry about what you will find when you get back. Just get back. There's no place like home... click click click.

The Ike information on DirecTV is unbelievable. Pleasure boats on the I-45 South just beached there. It's going to take weeks for TXDOT to get the freeway reopened to Galveston again. I've watched a lot, just trying to sort details. We haven't heard from Danny's mother since Friday night. We are a bit concerned but mostly we just get busy circuit signals on her cell # and that's not unusual. Still we want to hear from her and yesterday would be fine.

Back later. Going to tune into the feeds and watch the little boys wake up. If BB wakes them up, it's about that time.

Gaytor, I am so sorry you still can't get in touch with Danny's mom! I'm sure she is fine and just can't call. But I know the unknown is always worse.

I am realizing even more how my family in Michigan felt when I couldn't call them for 9 days after Ivan. Especially when all they saw on TV was destruction.

I'll say an extra prayer for her when I pray for everyone affected by Ike and especially their family members who can't get in touch.

There are tons of care packages from the panhandle of FL on the way. One benefit of living in an area that is threatened by hurricanes, you get to help others by sending items you know they need.

Speaking if helping, has anyone heard from Beorn?

Thanks Marci...

Yes it's just the waiting that drives you crazy. I know that's how my oldest (the crazy one) sister found us after Katrina... worried if we were still alive. She finally found us registered on the Red Cross site of survivors/evacuees, and there she was in Lake Charles after not hearing from her for 10 years (her choice.)

These things bring families and friends closer together or even closer if they already are. We realize what love means compared to material things in a way that no one who hasn't gone through a tragedy understands.

YaY! I get to make a post about me me me again :p~ as if it has ever stopped me before.

I know I have friends right here on The Dish that care about me and everyone else here just like family because in a sense we all are, and our Matriarch is Carolyn. She definitely holds or 'family' together and she is the boss of our 'family.' That's why I'm skeeered of her. :p... mmhmm. yea... sceeered of her. That's what I am.... skeeerd! (HA!)

I too wish we would hear from Beorn, but as I said, so much of Baton Rouge is without power still and even if he has it, we know Beorn... his priority would be out helping others less fortunate 25 hours a day.

We have so many along the Gulf Coast, all the way from The Keys to Mexico and some think us fools for living here. But we all have to live somewhere and my attitude is I know when a tropical is coming... I don't know when a tornado may stick a finger from the clouds and wipe out whole cites as it did in OK this spring. The quakes on the west coast .... well we all know they never know when to expect those. Floods in the Midwest proves that isn't safe so ... where can anyone go and be completely safe. I'll take New Orleans any day and just watch for the storms in the Gulf. Oh and we can't leave "Mama Caro" out... She has to deal with the Atlantic Coast.

And now we turn our attention to those in South LA and East Texas and even into Arkansas and Missouri where Ike is continuing to wreak havoc even without the highest winds but the flooding rains and threats of tornadoes.

I pray for all and wait to hear from them.

Back to BB? Guess I should at least mention it. One of the boys are stirring. Not sure which one. I think it's Memphis. One camera on the bathroom while another is on a still sleeping boy. Feed two is on Debbie, and Feed 4 is on the other F2... the fish.

Maybe Memphis will get bored and go jump up and down on Dan's bed to get him up for the day. After all, it is almost noon.

Happy Sunday, dear Carolyn and fellow BB lovers :-)

Chelsia,You always enhance our BB enjoyment.Thank you.

I wish all jury members would vote for best gameplay.I understand that hurt feelings might be hard to overcome, but why would anyone want to be perceived by viewers as petty and vindinctive?

Debriefing.Yikes.I suspect that April will be secretly delighted that her sexploits have been viewed by so many, but her unpopularity will be crushing.

She should have realized long ago that what you say about others says more about you than it does about them. Maybe she'll get it now. I hope so.

I LOVE hearing happy updates from all of you who escaped Ike unharmed.I hate reading news stories of families trapped in Galviston with injured young children because they "didn't think the water would come up so high".KIDS HAVE NO CHOICE in that situation. You have to make the right choice FOR THEM.*sigh*

Thank you,Caro for being such a good mama to us all, and for taking care of yourself. So glad you're feeling better. xox

Jane-
Do you know how many here have benefitted from your wit, wisdom and sage advice?... and if your 2 cents are 1943 copper alloy pennies, they could be worth $165,000 :-)

Hi, Carolyn! I'm glad to hear your back is feeling better & you are taking some more time off to rest.
Hi, All my BB addict buddies!

I'm late today. We had some very, very bad news about a relative's home in Kemah, TX. I have been on the phone most of the day w/ family. They had evacuated. They went back to see their house this morning. Kemah is a small seaside tourist town, North of Galveston. It has gorgeous homes, a beautiful boardwalk with lots to do for entertainment. A large marina with beautiful boats & sailboats. Most of it along with their home is destroyed. It's just so sad what has happened & what they & so many others are dealing with right now. Please continue to pray for those effected. And, a huge thank you for all the prays & support that are being sent to TX & LA.

Chelsia - Great blog & thanks for answering so many questions. I've enjoyed reading your blogs & look forward to more to come.

I really enjoyed watching these guys last night on BBAD. They are so cute & such little boys. They had me laughing out loud. Especially trying to get food for Debbie & running after moths. When Dan told Memphis to watch out for the pole, I rolled. I think those spiders are going to miss them when they are gone. No more free meals, they will have to work for them now! They are always looking for something to do rather than just sit & bash other people.

Tonight's show ought to be fun! Can't wait to see it!

Hi Carolyn,

I love this site, and I also love that you referred us to Lessa's site several times this season. Sometimes, she has almost too much detail--LOL! I've exchanged a couple of emails with her to see if she knows anything about the status of seriously-ill Cap'n Phil on Deadliest Catch (since Lessa is in Alaska). Anyway, she's a sweetheart, just like you!

Chelsia--you were one of my faves on last season. I'm happy to see you recognize a few "episodes" you'd like to take back. Any learning experience is good. I wish you success in your studies and career, and hope you'll be blogging here in the future too!

Yes, Memphis is up and getting his morning dose of coffee and a bit of fresh air. Dan is snuggled all warm in his bed still with visions of $500K dancing in his head.

Memphis has that silly straw hat on, which really fits his look and attitude but I like him better in his navy baseball cap with the big M.

Every time I see that on him, I have this vision of AG screaming from the control room... MEEEEMMMMMPPPHIIIIIISSSSS!!!!! (Like Dave in 'Alvin and the Chipmunks' screaming at Alvin.) Actually I can see Memphis as the perfect Alvin.. the mischievousness just oozes from his pores.

YaY!! Geaux Saints... at least I get to watch more of the game today since both aren't awake yet. Right now we are ahead of the Redskins by more than a touchdown. Hope I don't jinx it.

Carolyn, congrats to your USC Condom Heads... OK... Trojans last night on their big win over Ohio St. Maybe we will see another LSU/USC match up in the big game. Would love to take another National title away from your team. :p~~~~~~~

Now back to worrying about our Gulf Coast friends. My sister just left to go back home to Calcasieu Parish to see if she still has a trailer standing. Her friends she has called tell her she had flooding and some wind damage but she's afraid they aren't telling her everything so she doesn't have a coronary. She does have heart problems.

I'll be back... I feel like Pogoing today.

Chelsia, if you are still reading these posts would you do me a favor and when you go for the finale? Please mention to Julie Chen, the wife of the Networks President, that she is very misinformed. As often as she has commented about Jeery being the oldest participant in Reality show history, her husband's own CBS had two seasons with Rudy on it. Both Survivor Borneo, and Survivor All-Stars had Rudy as a participant. On Survivor All-Stars Rudy was 76 years old.

And also, thank you for the responses to our questions. Two of mine were answered and I thank you so much.

Jane, your final sentence in your post to Chelsia said it all. "Failing is better than not trying."

I'd rather have a long list of failings (and I do) than a lifetime of 'what ifs' and that is how I've led my life. The failings hurt but we learn from each and every one of them. All we have from the what ifs are the wondering just that. What if?

You're sage advice is always spot on.

Poor Memphis... you can tell he really wants his playmate to wake up and come outside.

Carolyn if you are opening an afternoon post as I type I am going to..... well.... just say "What else is new?"

:o)

Was just catching up on comments when I noticed the one about Beorn. Last time I remember hearing from him, he mentioned working at the field hospital at the P-Mac. The P-Mac is still in use as a triag hospital, because there were so many nursing centers and hospitals in the lower LA area with out power. The last of the Baton Rouge are should recieve power by Wednesday. The outer lying areas are spiratic. Some have power, some still do not. Since I don't know if Beorn lives in the city or out, I can't confirm, but things are getting back to normal in this area. Hopefully he is just busy, there were alot of houses damaged.

When Gustav was coming, we were all asking about Renny's family. Has anyone asked about Libra's family who lives in Houston? I would hope they left town for safety.

lila - if only my 2 cents were worth that much ... well than I'd only need about 10 cents. lol. Hey, there are people floating away from their homes on disconnected staircases. I can only complain so much before I want to give myself a smack. Reality check.

MsFitz, I forgot to mention Kema I think. If not, well it wouldn't be the first time I've repeated myself.

I've seen the news on Kema too. I'm still flipping to 362 DirectTV and checking their local CBS coverage.

Years ago I knew a mother and son from Kema who drove to west Houston every day to work. Long drive but they loved Kema so much and if I remember they had been there all their life. So sad to see it right now, but we all know they will rebuild.

YaY! Dan is gett.... never mind, he was just making a tent with his sheet. hmmm. Maybe I should go perv on Feed 1. I remember what it was like to be 25 and alone in bed. I did occasionally sleep alone back then. :p~~

HAHA! Memphis is getting antsy.

He's still outside and said loudly. "Play some music so Dan will get his lazy ass up."

He wants his playmate.

Good morning, actually good afternoon all! I finally got to catch up on some sleep and slept in today. I'm feeling much better now.

Chelsia's blog was great, I would love to know who her rival was too, I'm thinking maybe it's not anyone that actually made it on the show though.

Carolyn: Glad to hear you're feeling better.

Amber: I'm looking forward to my cake! LOL!

Everyone remember to keep voting for KEESHA!

I'll be back later to party with you guys during the show. I'm hoping they will show some really funny stuff tonight.

Gaytor - My family and I finally figured out a phone trick living through countless California earthquakes.

Although, we were in close proximity, we could never call each other because the local lines (through all counties) were immediately busy.

We did learn that lines going out of state were still available. So we'd call friends on the east coast and all check in through those friends.

Perhaps if you have friends in a state that wasn't in the path, they could try to reach D's mom?

Not sure if this would even apply to a cell phone - but I'd feel awful if I didn't take the time to tell you what we used to do.

Just hope it all clears up soon - the waiting must be miserable.

msfitz - I am so sorry to hear about your families home and it's community. IN the face of disaster what can we do but rally rebuild and nurture each other. My prayers are with them. Huggies girlie. ♥

My prayers are with everyone in Ike's nasty path.

jane - I do not compliment. I state facts! :) ♥

♫ Hi Carolyn and everyone ♫

Popping in to check on everyone here and to see if Dan is ever going to get up today. My goodness, it's 1:45 in the afternoon BB time! Rise and shine!

Sounds like I missed the fun last night watching the "little " boys, but lack of sleep had caught up with me and I crashed really early, didn't even have supper.

Caro, I have just emailed you a marathon of a poem. Sorry, its really long. It recaps the entire season and details the final days. Figured it might be something for tomorrow or early Tuesday. You'll see when you get it.

My thoughts and prayers today are with all of the people suffering from the devasting effects of Ike. Dingy I am so sorry to hear that you are going through all this again. Msfitz, my heart goes out to your relatives over the loss of their home, but at the same time I am so relieved that they got out ahead and are safe. I pray we will hear from all our other friends here at Dish, and that they are all safe as well as the millions of others that have been affected by this horrible event.

I think Memphis needs to go in and toss some cold water on Dan and get his a** outta be. C'mon boys entertain us.

Afternoon/evening Carolyn and everyone.

First best wishes and safe return for everyone affected by the storm. Even Chicago flooded from remnants of Ike, how crazy is that.

Chelsia, thanks so much for answering all those questions. I love behind the scenes stuff. You know in your mind the house is a set but I just thought it was more substantial I guess.

Glad your back is mostly better Carolyn. I myself stayed up to late watching the boys and then had to work to early this morning and my shoulders are letting me know about it.

Really missed everyone last night. Since I don't like talking to myself, not that much anyway, like Gaytor I hung out with Leesa for a bit watching the boys card tricks. Throwing cards off the HOH balcony was just silly. When Dan tried to run the car off the balcony earlier in the day I so thought he was going to get a big reprimand but they let it go and it was really funny. If the rail wasn't so low he would have made it. We had a guy when I was in the Marines who chased the camp mascot, a bull dog, with a remote car. That was a big mistake though. That dog was a VIP you don't mess with him if you know what's go for you.

Voted for Keesha.

GO RENEGADES!

Connie,
My husband watches Dead. Catch. How is the captain? It looked pretty bad at the end of the season.

Chelsia, you were my favorite and I love your candidness!! Keep it up. I'm also interested in when your contract is up. Would love for you to answer the questions without the "reins"!

Keep resting Carolyn, it does help!

As always, Chelsia expresses herself extremely well through written word ... her insight is truly appreciated by many I'm sure ... and as for adjusting to life after BB9 she will do fine - after all she does have her own "personal" astrologer now helping her along the way!!! ... keep an eye on this young lady - she has a very bright future ahead of her!!!!

Carolyn - for your tireless, exhaustive and dedicated efforts you deserve a riotous round of applause, a huge THANK YOU and a "BeeBee" - ummm Big Brother - statuette (in solid gold of course!!!) - the equivalent of an Oscar!!!!
