The Overnight Report
Good Morning Big Brother lovers!! It is indeed a very Happy Monday from Outside the Cone! :) Today in the Big Brother house, I'm expecting we may actually have HoH pictures... since they ought to be on lockdown inside starting sometime mid to late afternoon while the backyard is readied for the Final 3 Endurance Comp tomorrow night...

It was a very quiet night in the BB10 house...

Around the house...
- Dan is asleep in HoH.
- Keesha's in the Hippie Room tidying up and folding clothes.
- Memphis is in the Diary Room.
- Jerry is in the backyard, alone.
Memphis finishes his DR session, and they call Keesha in.

Kitchen Area
Memphis & Jerry
Even Sand is Suspect.
Jerry: It isn't white like the sand on the east coast.
Memphis: It was dark, even for California.. Probably 'cause it was an island. There's nothing like the white sand beaches of Florida.
Memphis is done being polite. He takes off, and Jerry makes himself another PB & B sandwich.
CUT TO:
10:40pm BBT
Around the house...
- Keesha comes out from the Diary Room, and Jerry gets called in. They cross paths as he's on his way in, and Keesha tells him she's going to bed.
- Dan is still sleeping up in the HoH room.
- Memphis is lying in bed in the Hippie Room.
CUT TO:
11:00 - 11:30pm BBT
Memphis & Keesha have the lights out in the Hippie Room, ready to get some shut-eye after the monumentally strenuous day they've had.. but first, a little pillow talk about adjusting to life outside the BB house...
Jerry sticks his head into the pitch black room and asks if they're going to bed, then tells them "they" are gonna give him a patch for his neck pain...
10 minutes later, Jerry gets called in to the DR. A couple minutes later, he comes out and has a seat in the massage chair...
BB calls Dan to the Diary Room, but he's sleeping, and he doesn't wake up to go.
By 11:30, Jerry's up and jogging laps in the back yard. Memphis and Keesha seem to be sleeping.
CUT TO:
12:20am BBT
Hippie Room - Memphis & Keesha are sleeping.
80s Room - Jerry's sleeping.
HoH - Dan wakes up.
Dan goes down to the Hippie Room, and wakes Keesha and Memphis, who've been lightly sleeping.. Chatter ensues.
Keesha: You've been tossing and turning.
Memphis: I know. I can't sleep.
Dan tells them about his dream...
Dan: You (Keesha) were HoH and you evicted Memphis, and he was naked.
Memphis: That's enough! No more dreaming about me naked.
Dan: (to Keesha) You were naked too. I remember seeing a different part of you.
Keesha laughs.
Dan: What did I miss tonight?
Keesha: Us sleeping. We went to bed at like 9 o'clock.
Dan: I woke up and all the kitchen lights were off. I think they do that when they shut down at night... I've never been so tired in my life. When I get outta here, I wanna talk to a former houseguest, and have them talk me through what to expect.
Memphis: I'm sure they'll fill you in on all kinds of crazy sh*t.
Keesha: We're the only ones who haven't seen other people yet.
Keesha refers to the evicted HGs who've walked out to the live audience.
Keesha: The further you go in the game, the harder it is.
Memphis: I wonder if the others were blindfolded when they left the house (to go to sequester).
Keesha doesn't think BB would do that.
Talk turns back to Dan's day out...
Memphis: I can't believe you saw a whale.
Dan: It was really quick, but it was so cool. It was a really remote island.
Memphis: It had to be somewhere like Catalina.
More chatter about the trip...
Dan curls up on Renny's bed. Everyone's yawning and Dan looks like he might just pass out too.
BB: Dan, please come to the Diary Room.
Keesha: They're gonna get you!
Dan goes off to the DR. Keesha and Memphis resume trying to sleep. Memphis is having difficulty... tossing and turning...
CUT TO:
1:02 - 1:30am BBT
Dan emerges from the Diary Room to find everyone sleeping again... He walks into the Hippie Room, tells them goodnight again and heads into the kitchen for a snack of cereal. He takes the cereal outside to the red couch and talks to Ted, the spider.
Dan: What's up, Ted? No food tonight, huh? I'll have to fix that for you.
Dan continues eating his cereal.
Dan: Crazy world we live in in this house... Crazy world.
He walks toward to pool and addresses it as Pauline, saying, "someone needs to keep you cleaner, Pauline." Dan gets to work on that...
Dan passes the American flag on the chair and says, "Thanks, America."
Dan finishes his snack, and goes back into the house. After cleaning up after himself and tinkering around for a couple minutes, he gets bored.
Dan: Lets go wake some house guests.
He goes back to the Hippie Room.
Dan: I can't sleep.
Keesha: Great.
Dan: Can you guys?
Memphis: (mumble)
Dan: It's pitch black in here.
Memphis: That's how we like it.
Memphis gets up and goes to the bathroom.
Dan: Are you tired?
Keesha: It's taken me forever to get to this point...
Dan: Didn't sleeping all day rid you of the tiredness?
Keesha: No. It just made me more tired.
Dan: I'm trying to decide whether to put this ice cube in your bed or not..
Keesha: Don't!
Dan: (laughs) I'm just kidding. I don't have an ice cube... yet.
Chatter about cereal, then back to Dan's outing...
Dan: It made me realize that everything we do in here, they are always watching. Always. They see everything. I'm not talking about the internet... I'm talking about Big Brother. They know everything we do.
Keesha: You don't even realize it 'til they ask you about something in the DR that you don't even remember doing..
Memphis returns from the rest room.
Dan: They said that we've been a very, very good season.
Memphis: Who said that?
Dan: They did.
Memphis: Good as in behavior?
Keesha: No.. they mean as entertainment.
Dan: No... as in good-good.
Talk turns to Renny and how funny she was... after a few minutes, they get very quiet. Even Dan seems to have dozed off.
1:30am BBT
Dan gets up like a shot, tells them goodnight again, and leaves the Hippie Room. After a brief stop in the darkened kitchen, Dan heads up to the HoH Room.
He changes into his sleeping shorts, stares at himself in the HoH Bathroom mirror for a bit, then he grabs his letter from home and gets into bed. After reading it, he turns out the light, grabs his headphones, gets under the covers and listens to some music before falling asleep.
2:03am BBT
Dan takes his headphones off and goes to sleep.
The rest of the house is in dreamland...

Good morning Carolyn and all BB lovers. I figured I would check in early as I have a whole boring day of work ahead of me. I am only working two days this week as I have to head off to different doctors appointments with my hubby. Well anyway- Just wanted to let all the Jersey people know that I appreciate the comments about Comcast- but as for going with Direct TV it isn't an option. My next door neighbor had it (and a few other friends) and I swear the tech guy was at their house at least once a week. It must be the area I am in. It just doesn't like technology. Oh well, hope everyone has a good day, I will be back sometime tonight.

I can't believe they are going to screw Keesha. The only way Dan can win the money is to be standing next to Keesha in the final 2. Michelle had to tell Dan that April and Ollie don't like Keesha and won't give her the money in the end.
I have to give it to Dan and his game play.

What a boring night last night was. Without Dan there or awake that place is coma city.
As much as we love the Fab 4 this is what you get when people "love" each other in the house, boring TV and worse feeds. Who remembers season 1? At least BB gave them stuff to do. You want good TV as Dan likes to say you want bitter enemies at the end, competing and scheming. This is Ryan and Adam all over again, bromance part duex. After you checked out last night Carolyn went over and read Leesa's version of the day's events and when the guys talked about if Jerry fell out of the endurance comp early they would just throw it and she commented "UGH not again" it made me laugh but also to think yep it's going to be that way with these guys.
I'm thinking how interesting would the F2 be if it was April vs Keesha or Dan vs Ollie or Michelle and lastly Renny vs Memphis or Jerry. That would be some good feeds. There is a reason we loved the Evel Dick vs Zach endurance. It was win or go home not hey if you win it's cool and if I win it's cool, boring!
I love Keesha as much as everyone else but at this point I want Jerry to be in the F2 just to annoy the hell out of one of those guys.
They may be playing for themselves but CBS needs ratings and Real needs subscribers and you don't get that with the F2 we will most likely get.
I'm done ranting now. Hoping for a more interesting day :)

The more I pondered on the bottle of wine Dan insisted was all Keesha's, the more disturbed I became... It's clear that Keesha stopped playing since Renny left the house, she has not solicited Memphis once with any viable plays to continue herself thru the game. She didn't win HOH or the POV why ply her with enough wine to make her sleep the day away so to ensure she would not talk game to Memphis when she hasn't up to that point??!!?? It was just a mean and over kill move.
Is it just me or does Dan meet the many criteria or Narcissistic Personality Disorder or NPD.
1. has a grandiose sense of self-importance
2. is preoccupied with fantasies of unlimited success, power, brilliance, beauty, or ideal love
3. believes that he or she is "special" and unique
4. requires excessive admiration
5. has a sense of entitlement

I am not says he exhibits them all or excessively but...I have seen hints of all.... I do not feel Renny was far off in her assessment of him that "something is off in him".
Note his treatment of others, his diary room sessions and general overall behavior...call it good tv or call borderline anti social behavior...
If I was Monica I would be thinking twice. This is a man that over thinks every situation and this is supposedly only a game what would he do in real life if someone wanted to leave him? Kind of scary when you stop to think about it.

Will they start from the time the HG's actually went in the house or the week after, when they started for us? I would love to see them when they first entered! I kinda would like to see Brian as I don't really remember him.
I really don't like the way Memphis was acting toward Keesha last night. Very telling I think?!?! I don't want her to go!!!!! I just hope he is way too sick of Jerry to keep him and his hurt(?) neck.
Good mornin' all! Keeping an eye on Ike and trying to get caught up with BB. :) Is anyone else sad that they are probably going to get rid of Keesha tomorrow? I just think they at least owe her a "sit down" to tell her they are probably getting rid of her. Don't cha think?

Does anyone else get the feeling that Dan was trying to get them to ask him more questions about his trip? Or maybe he wanted to tell them more but couldn't? And why did he mention an empty chair being there on the beach? Why would he bring it up at all?
On the overnight, I read a comment that I agree with totally but I can't remember who posted it so I'm sorry for not giving credit but they mentioned that taking Jerry to the final 3 seems like it's validating him. That's how I feel too and it bugs me! Keesha did work pretty hard, previous to now, to get everyone where they are and it's insulting that they don't want to take her. If that's what they decide, they had better tell her ~ fast!
BTW, why does Dan yell in the DR? He doesn't talk like that normally and every DR session, it's like he's screaming. Very weird! LOL I agree with some of the overnight comments that Dan seems like he's getting pretty cocky. But I do remember he was pretty cocky in the beginning when he was with Brian. I remember thinking, "This guy's a Catholic school teacher?!?!" But Brian being evicted took the wind right out of his sails! LOL I'll never forget the look on his face when they called Brian out! LOL

I'm just bummed that the guys aren't going to be decent enough to tell Keesha what they are thinking. She has been pretty loyal to those boys and for goodness sake, they can tell she's lost without Renny! (The house is certainly more boring without her!)
I secretly hope it slips out that Dan took Michelle, not b/c I want Dan to loose, but b/c Memphis would keep Keesha and try to "align" with her again and make for an interesting ending to the show. :)

I read all the post and comments and thanks to you Carolyn, & the dishchicks ...I now have the live feeds and even though it can be boring at times (like yesterday while "Dan tha man" was gone)...I'm now an avid live feed watcher!! :D
Ya know...I don't understand why BB makes Jerry out to be this harmless, kind to all old man...he has a fuse like Manchelle but with the added edge of life experience to contain him "some what"...and he is smart and in good shape for a man of 75 years...BUT...he knew what he was getting into and signed all kinds of waivers to be on the show! I love the relationship he "now" has with his wife but when he talks about the years he went here and there and did this and that...he wasn't home with his family and he has said that his kids aren't close with those "Oh noooo" raised eyebrows when Keesha asked him about them...and he thinks women are submissive and can you imagine him being mad at you as your father...scary???...and going to lunch/pub drinking a couple of beers and then driving, and then the VFW..drinking another couple or three beers and then DRIVING...I don't know...I guess what it is is you get to see his core...his lack of self-responsibility...that he is arrogant and puts self first and he most probably manipulates all of his relationships and I'm not talking about inside the BB world...he's obvious there...but when he is at home in his everyday life where no cameras see his self-centered actions!
And yet BB/CBS make him out to be a poor, poor wittle puppy who's trying his best and the sharks are biting him! UGH!
Okay...off the "Jerry" soap box..I have an advantage over M/K/D because I can come here and vent my frustrations of the ol' fart! LMAO
Anyways...I really think Dan and Memphis would both gain from keeping Keesha, because if she did win and had to pick...it would heart-break her and they both can go to workin their charismatic, playful magic to woo her vote for final 2...(that would be hilarious to watch)....but if Jerry slides through somehow(mental competition)...he will play KING of the hill and gloat and expect them to each "hail to the king" and grovel for his choice...especially Dan!! If they keep Keesha they could both beat her in endurance and Dan, could work his magic on Keesha...which so could Memphis equally because they have been together as an alliance for longer than she and Dan!

It's sad that Keesha really believes that the guys will take her to F3 like they both have told her over and over. I would love to see her with 'others' in the end to see what she would have done.
Although I love her, I don't think she is the type of person who would fight to take $$ away from everyone else. Great trait, but not for BB.
But then again, from her conversations on 'wine' night, I am not sure she was there to win the money, but it had more to do with Fear Chamber than BB!
Just a thought? Do ya'll think BB will somehow reveal that Dan took someone? Like right before the voting? There has been no real twist this season....I mean Jessie came back as a gorilla....BTW - who knew he could be a little funny??? Hmmmm..... :)

It IS true the sand here is very dark.Not like FL or HI.And it's not smooth and round it really sticks to you.And you do find more rocks than shells.

I just think he's a fun loving guy with a quirky side. And, most importantly, he came to play a game and he very rarely does anything in this house without that in mind.
He seems odd because very few others do that. The other HGs let down that guard or overplay (ala Jeery).
I think it's Dan's gameface that makes him so odd to others. I actually like that we have a true gamer in the house this year, and one that entertains us while doing so.

I get married in less than a week. I have to clean. mani/pedi, hair touched up, try makeup, print new directions to reception since it's gonna rain, give new directions to cake and food people, get balloons now that it's inside, massage on Friday, rehearsal, tuxedos, clean the house, tie the ribbons on the bubbles, memorize the vows,
maybe reschedule the massage for tomorrow?? LOL

I just finished reading all the comments and the post from last night and it sounds like I missed a fun time!!!!
I thought last nights Primetime Fairytale was one of the best I have seen in awhile. I don't know why, but I thought the HG's were just joking about Jessie being in the gorilla suit. Imagine my surprise!!!! I laughed very hard at that.
I hope Dan is lying about being alone on the beach, I would love to see how Michelle handles spending the afternoon alone with him.
Reading about Jerry lecturing Dan about not being included in things around the house was interesting. Humans just naturally gravitate towards other like-minded people in terms of attitude and character. Memphis, Dan, Keesha and Renny enjoy lauging, joking, having *real* conversations, and just otherwise having fun. Jerry does not. It's interesting that he thinks he can run them down verbally and annoy the daylights out of them for 2 months, then suddenly *demand* to be their friend. They don't like you, Jerry, get over it.
Jerry seems to have a need for control. He likes having it, using it, and when he doesn't have it, gets angry. Unfortunately for him, Dan and Keesha have pretty much controlled things in the house, and I think it bugs him. Remember, he has convinced himself he can control the jury vote if he is sent there. He seems to grasping at anything he can to exert control in the house, but can't quite seem to grab hold.

The reason Dan mentioned the chair is because of Jery suspecting you can take a jury member. Dan didn't want them htinking he did so he said there was an empty chair. This way he is hinting at it, and if they ask if a jury member was there, he could say no. They would believe him more if he gave them information then none at all. Like "Why would he hint at there being another jury member if there wasn't one" deal. If that makes any sense. It's just a more believable lie.

I kept hoping that BB would show the beach with Dan on the TV screen yesterday so someone would notice it...but alas everyone was either asleep or outside.
The whole beach thing needs to change the "face" of the game more than just swaying the jury or BB would not have done it at least I would hope to shout at APG. There has to be more of a point to this than all of that or Dan would have made it a point to talk to the BB cameras last night and he did not. So I suspect something else to happen that even he may not suspect.
At least hope springs eternal from a bored BB viewer. If this season is a blatant rerun of Adam and Ryan and I throw up in my mouth and write APG a dirty letter.....

debbie - as much as I love to label as many house guests as possible with psychiatric disorders, I can't go there with you on Dan and NPD. He's a chipper guy with a good sense of humor playing a good game and enjoying his status. No I don't see a hint of NPD in him. Maybe he's a bit cocky at times, but I'm not sure I would even go that far. He just reminds me of someone who has an athlete's competitive spirit and envisions winning, to win. That's what they do.
People with NPD do stuff like take off their clothes in public and harm others to get to the top with no insight or recognition of how it may affect others. They have indiscriminate sex and believe they deserve it. No, I don't see a single NPD trait in Dan.
We all have all those traits to some degree at various times. It's a matter of how it impacts our lives and the lives of others. I think Dan is a fierce competitor, but the antithesis of a narcissist. He's hyper aware of his rational relationship to the world and those in it.
But obviously you don't like the guy much! Lol. :) You're entitled. I agree with you about Monica being cautious for one reason, Dan does not seem to have gotten his share of experimental nookie. But he's a traditional guy and not everyone needs that. I think his commitment to Monica is sincere and they have about as good a shot as anyone. These days that's about 50/50.

I think the story about the empty chair was Dan trying to make it more believable that he was alone. Jerry didn't believe he'd be alone and I'm sure he figured given time Memphis and Keesha would begin to wonder about him not taking someone.
This "a second place setting, I felt like an a$$ sitting there by myself. they'll show me all alone" feeds into him feeling badly for having not picked one of them. It also plays up his status as a goofy, lovable guy. They were all genuinely happy he had a fun experience even "alone".
I'm getting flashbacks of Ryan and Adam....ugh....At least they took Sheila to the final 3. I wonder who Keesha would vote for when she finds out that Dan took Michelle to the beach and that Memphis and Dan had this plan all along to be final 2? I bet if it's the 2 guys at the end, that Memphis wins. Everyone else has done his dirty work!

Re Beorn: It's very likely he is without power still. I believe most of Baton Rouge is... without power. I think classes at LSU started back today but of course that being a state institution, (yes Beorn is in an institution. hehe) their power would be a priority. Still there was damage to their football stadium known as Death Valley. For now LSU is working out terms to play their home games in the Super Dome, which is a problem because Death Valley seats about 20K more than the Super Dome.
And speaking of the Super Dome... GEAUX SAINTS! We had our first win in a home opener in 10 years yesterday.. Against Tampa Bay. :-D

In my opinion Dan is just playing a game. I don't think he has any behavioral problems, he is just playing the best game in the house. I do think he is making a huge mistake not bringing Keesha to the final three. I think that as long as Dan is in the final 2 he will win based on game play but please keep Keesha, she is in your alliance!
Awww Jane, that wasn't a nudge! LOL. Just my 2 cents about why Dan bothered with the 2 chairs story. LOL.
I agree with you that he's not NPD. He is a truly genuine guy who just happens to be an excellent player. We haven't had a lot of those in the past few seasons. I actually think this is the way Eric wanted to play season 8, but he had way too many strikes against him. Sho-mance, AP all season, much more of a nervous nelly (not as aw shucks as Dan), and the inability to win comps when needed.

I think Dan is just better prepared to play the game than anyone else. When he needed to be a weak player...he took huge risks to make himself seem very weak. As soon as he needed to play strong, he's won almost every comp he's played (Jerry would not have won his HOH if Dan hadn't gotten a horrible bounce).
Dan has the ability to get near perfect reads on people and gently persuade them to do things his way. I have a hard time seeing anyone that can beat him. I also find it very difficult to see how the jury could let their personal feelings override the fact that each of them got skunked by a much better player.
If I'm not mistaken, Dan has also never made a personal attack against someone...under when being attacked himself. This, to me, further illustrates that he knows this is just a game and he's playing it to the best of his ability within the rules.

I am going to throw this out for comment, cause it is on my mind.
I was raised in So.Cal.at the beach and have been to Catalina Island many times. Yes, it was owned by the Wrigley family at one point.
I think Dan is lying about his trip and this is why:
1. Catalina is somewhat "private" meaning there are some private places there but, it has a community/resort on it that would be hard to miss from a helicopter. Dan never mention seeing anything but a "private island".
2. I have never been to the beach swimming without getting sand on me and sand in my bathing suit etc. Dan came back,never took a shower or even washed his hands or face. Then went into his bed with his bathing suit and t shirt on. Where is any trace of sand on his body or in his hair?
3. He mentioned Jet Skis there but didn't talk about using them,only the kiack. Dan would have jumped on a Jet Ski in a heartbeat!
If you only spend 1 hour on Catalina you become sunburned somewhat! I did not see any recent sun on him.
Things just do not add up for me!! He may have just gone to the jury house!!!!!

I was watching Big Brother last night with my parents (who really don't watch the show that much). My dad does not like Memphis. He says he acts like a snotty sh*t, lol. My mom thinks that Dan is TOO sure of himself. They both liked Keesha though. Jerry was ehh. Then I filled them in on how he REALLY is and they didn't like him at all.
I really like Keesha and I'm hoping that they will change their minds.

I think Dan might have the biggest heart of any of them. Sure, taking Michelle to the beach is part strategy. She HATES him - so anything to soothe ruffled feathers. But he also said the trip would mean the most to her (that's not really strategy). And here, has the chance to spend ALL day with someone on a private beach being spoiled rotten. And he takes the one person who hates him the most. That takes guts. I'm not sure I could do it. Even though I think Michelle will take the trip and stab him in the back anyway (I'm pretty sure she thinks he deserves it).
I still says the kid has heart.

Hi all my BB addict buddies!
Ha-ha, well I am the goofball of all goofballs. I couldn't figure out what happened to comments last night. I know better but I just didn't think to click on the "Newest". Wow, I guess my birthday celebration on Saturday hurt my brain more than I thought it did. I didn't even get to say good night! I am still giggling over my brain fart!
Although, last night was booooooring. Tell me why I sit & watch BBAD while people are sleeping? I just keep thinking some kind of conversation is going to take place that I don't want to miss. Well, the only conversation last night was Keesha & Jerry for a while & that I could have lived without. Jerry just angers me to no end. Keesha was talking about how funny Renny was & you could hear the tone of missing her in her voice & stupid, freakin' Jerry had to add his comment, but she has a mean streak or something like that. Keesha just said...we all do! That is what I love about her, she doesn't get on the hate bandwagon. Even the other night they were talking about A/O relationship & she said, I hope they can make it work. She truly does care about others & it shows.
I think Dan & Memphis should be proud of themselves for how they made it in this game. Especially, Dan, he has never forgotten he is playing a game. He has never just sat around waiting for something to happen. He always finds a way to entertain himself (and us) when their is down time in the house. If he is cocky about it right now I think that is okay. He knows he is & has been in control of his own destiny throughout this game & has continually adjusted himself to do what is needed to reach the goal of winning. I can't judge his personal life by the way he is playing this game.
Memphis has played a more laid back role but I also think he has been very aware of what is going on around him & played it the best way he knew was good for him.
Keesha has played well up until Renny left. I believe she is truly feeling safe this week & has asked them to tell her if they were going to boot her out. She trusts them enough that if they haven't told her she is going then she doesn't believe that she is. I also think she is keenly aware that Dan & Memphis have an alliance. Although Dan nominating Memphis this week did throw her off a little I still think she has it in the back of her mind they are stronger w/ each other than she is with them.
I just want Jerry to go because I do not want him to feel vindicated & want him to feel by trashing others personally that he played a good game & he is one to be reckoned with. But, I still believe that AGP is going to work it so that he stays to the end because they do not want all their promotions of him to backfire. Yes, he is to be commended for being 75 & doing what he has done. Winning some comps & lasting this long, but his method of game play by being so vile & his personal attacks should not be rewarded.
The FAB3 played with a lot more integrity & avoided all the nasty, vile talk about others & strictly kept it game play & not personal attacks.

I started watching Big Brother in season 8 because I had a friend on the show. But, I only watched the TV version. One of my friends is hardcore into Big Brother and has been watching season 1. Anyway, she doesn't watch the feeds but watched BBAD. I would say that I like Eric. And then she would fill me in on all the nasty things he would say about Dick checking out his own daughter. But on TV, he came across as a goofball. Just another good example on how they manipulate the edits to show someone as a nice person, when they are actually not.
Season 9 is when I discovered the feeds and House Calls and everything Big Brother related. I must have 20/20 hindsight because ten minutes after I signed up Amanda had her seizure.
By the way, Ike, Ike go away. TX coast does not need you. Please, please weaken & stay away from the entire Gulf coast. Wwwwwwwhhhhooo! "blowing very hard"

I know. I wish I did. But reading his antics it didn't surprise me at all, lol. He was like that on the message board that I met him on. Too funny. It was surreal at the time because when they showed everyone at the bar having a party for him, those are all my friends too. I stayed away from the BB message boards because I knew I would get into fights with people sticking up for him. I read stuff after that people were saying the strained relationship between him and Danielle was fake. Which made me laugh because anyone that knew him, knew it wasn't.

Debbie a, I think Dan is just approaching BB as a critical football game. the tactics are much the same. His knowledge of past seasons is extensive and he knows what it takes to succeed in rthe game. He has tremendous analytical shills and the wheels are always turning. He has seen how certain past players success depended on pulling the wool over their housemates eyes. Lying, manipulating, and outwitting ARE the game.
I also believe that AGP has seen how quickwitted and funny Dan is and are really encouraging(pushing)
him to really play it up, ham it up, get cocky, etc...(we know they do this). He is very much a fun loving little boy (and a pest) much of the time.
This season would be so BORING this year otherwise.
He as also shown a level of caring, respect, and interest in others you don't find in many of the other hgs.
I think Monica is a very lucky girl to have him, and his students lucky as well.
He has outplayed everyone and no one can deny that!

I met a lady about 65 in Smithville yesterday with OG. We were all talking with the gal who owned the shop we were in when Big Brother came up. I asked her what she thought of Jeery, said she couldn't stand him, he was disgusting, and she is a TV only! Didn't even know what feeds are, has no computer of her own. Her friends all watch BB too, when I clued her in about Jeery she was stunned and couldn't wait to tell her friends some of whom are big Jeery fans, lol. I told the proprietor(35-40ish) about Dish, she is a big reality fan, goes to different sites didn't know Dish.

I am a Van too. While my married(divorced) name is Costa(like Michelle. ugh)my maiden name is Van Esselstyn,and may just go back to it. I don't want to be thought of as a relative, we do have very similar hair, except mine is more stubborn and does not react well to a flat iron(I wear a lot of ponytails.)

Ok, preps done outside the house, just things to be done around here. We will be the "safe" house if needed since we are northwest of the city. But, lots of family on the coast so need to stock up and batten down just in case.
Oilman -- Yes, lying is part of the game. It would be really great is someone could win without lying or cheating, but don't think that could happen.
Dan has lied. The difference for me is that any lying he has done has been on a game level to give himself an advantage IN THE GAME .
Michelle's lying about the bannah was also to further herself in the game. Since I'm a Dan fan I didn't like it, but it was just gameplay.
The lying that really bothers me is the gossipy stuff that others (mostly now departed) have done on a personal level behind someone else's back just for mean, nasty, personal jealousy sake.
Yes, lying is lying. On a moral level it's wrong. In the game it's ... probably wrong too.

Honestly, I think Jerry fits that description MUCH closer than Dan or anyone else left in the house!
Do I like how D/M are talking about keeping Jerry over Keesha? No! But I don't think it makes either of them evil or mentally deranged or anything other than two guys playing the game as best they can -- and you've got to admit, it's been pretty good.
Still holding onto hope that they keep Keesha!
