If you're just checking in to BBDish for the first time this season, Welcome Home!! Make sure to look around at all the posts. There are videos and rumors and spoilers galore, as well as a very fun first interview of the season, and our annual preseason contest.
As always, you can access each post individually, by clicking on the direct links, or you can view the 7 most recent posts by staying on the front page (http://bbdish.blogspot.com) and just scrolling down. Hitting F5 every now and again is always a good idea too, as we tend to update quite often once everything gets going!! :)
Today in BB land:
- Julie Chen will be on the Craig Ferguson show tonight! The show starts at 12:35am, and odds are excellent that Julie'll be the 1st guest.
- I'm thinking the BB11 HGs are very likely having the 1st PoV Comp, if they didn't already have it yesterday... No matter. We'll figure out who won when the feeds kick on. :)
- The Early Bird Special on the Feeds ends tonight at 11:59pm. If you want the whole season for 29.99, now's the time to get it!
- The Big Brother Live Feed interface went live on Real last night. The chat rooms are open and everyone's *raving* about the new flashback feature and how sleek it all is with the improvements.
- If you're already on there, and you're having difficulty finding the chat rooms, because you're accustomed to them just being there to the right of the screen, fret not, just look up above the feed box and over to the right a little, where it says "Chat." ;) Click on that.
- The feeds are also "live", but they're showing NASA, CSPAN and the like until after the Premiere Thursday night. Hardcore BB fans are, of course, tuned in & hoping for an "oops" moment from the control room that allows us all an early glimpse inside the BB11 house!

I'm especially happy today, because my brother and sister-in-law announced they are 8-9 weeks pregnant!!!! Yay!! This will be their 3rd (and they say last, lol, child).
She was pregnant this past winter, but had a miscarriage, :(
So this is shaping up to be a great week!!!!

Thanks guys! I am just as excited to Dish with ALL of the gang as I am with BB starting! It's fun conversing with people I have never really met and I get a little giddy when one of the 'gang' checks in.

I'm trying to catch up on all the pre-show stuff. Did you see the Lydia interview from Esquire in 2007? There is a link at sillyhamster. She is a HUGE Harry Potter fan. As much as a loved her already she is so my favorite. Kind of makes me think she should have been on team Geek. Her and Ronnie should get along really well.
I'm working on the contest since I don't have the feeds this year. Not for awhile anyway. Wanted to take advantage of the early bird but it's just not going to happen money wise. Hoping if I don't win I can get them by next paycheck and only miss about a week or so. At least the Flashback feature will help.
Thanks for all your great work Carolyn. Going to be glued here until I do get those feeds. Not like I won't be glued here after but you know what I mean.

Any one feel solid on who # 13 is yet..I have heard Jesse or Brian.. I would soo love to see Brian back. I liked him right away on BB10 and never got the chance to see him play. I hope he is not an early target again because of his over eagerness that got him the boot last season..

OH P.S.... I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the flashback feature! That is so amazing.. Sometimes on am flying or out of town on some evenings the show is on and I can now recapture it when I get home. Super Cool! Does anyone know how to get tickets for the show? I have to dig in and research a bit.

Well I finished the scavenger hunt. Had to go back and reread some of your posts and rewatch some videos but I think I got em all right. Plus hopefully my e-mail made it. I hate hotmail. I really need to use something else as a primary. I tried to cut and paste some of my answers and thing messed me all up and I had to start over, stupid hotmail.
It was a fun game though and by doing it I came across some new stuff I had missed about the House Guests.

So I just got the "ok" from the husband to order the live feeds, but I'm at work. Do I need to wait until I'm at my home computer to sign up for them, or can I log on to any computer and watch them once I've paid for them?

I just watched the flash back on the first night of the live feeds on BB10 when they came on after the first show. If you haven't, and have the feeds.. hop on over there and flash back to Jul 16th @ 9PM and turn on the feeds. It's too funny.. They are running around the house like crazy people hooting and hollaring for the life feed viewers and their first celebration. Its funny to watch them still innocent and liking each other.
Carolyn - I would enjoy Cowboy too cuz I liked him. Drew was really good to Cowboy. Would be nice to see him get another chance. Still my fav would be Mr. Brian for #13. Would love to see what he has up his sleeve.
New poster here, but not new to the site. I've visited for the last two seasons and am super excited for this one. I got the live feeds for the first time this year and I absolutely love the flashback feature.
I wanted to stop in and thank Carolyn for keeping such excellent archives because I've been able to revisit some of my favorite blow ups from last season, hehe.
I can't believe it's another day, lol, we definitely need two seasons of Big Brother a year!

I am so happy to be home for the next 3 months.
Congrats Blue on the soon to be new addition to the family. I am a little jealous cause there are no more new bundles coming in our family until the next generation get started. :(
I just wanted to agree with everyone who has pointed out that if you don't get the LIVE FEEDS you are only getting the producers version of the show. That version is usually so far off it leaves the live feed viewers baffled.
With the live feeds we always know who is really working who and who has true alliances with who. The live show manipulates it drastically for the TV audience.
In defense of the producers, it is impossible to convert 48+ hours into a one hour episode. Just IMPOSSIBLE so if you don't have the live feeds you are missing about 35 hours of entertainment not seen on TV. That is cause at some point the do need to sleep.

Now I need to catch up on Twitter and get busy learning how to use RP properly. I can't depend on Carolyn to give me a 6 hour personal lesson in what buttons to push.... She might get the wrong idea. :-p~

I used my awesome powers of persuasion this year so I wouldn't have to cancel HBO for Showtime for the BBAD, which never impressed me that much anyhow -- except for Keesha and Libra's blow up last year) and miss the rest of my other favorite show: TRUEBLOOD.

Sorry Deb, forgot the second part. You have to click Flashback to see the calendar and go back in time! It's wonderful!!!!!
