Big Brother 12: A Prequel to the Days Ahead

The HGs probably think they have a PoV Ceremony today, but I don't think that'll be happening... Here's why & this is what I've been holding in all weekend, so as not to ruin anyone's weekend or start a riot:

Just after the HoH Comp started this past Thursday, right around the 39 minute mark, if you have On Demand or if you DVR'd it, Julie Chen said the following,

"Wednesday at 8/7 central, I'll be back for a special eviction episode. That's when we'll hold the final Veto Competition and Veto meeting, plus we'll begin the final 3 part HoH competition. Then the next night, the battle for the final and most powerful HoH continues... Who will move one step closer to winning the half million dollar prize. Find out next Thursday."

On Friday, I heard from a couple of dishers who attend Big Brother tapings, and they are going to one on Tuesday.

Tuesday
...

So... The good news is, because of them, we'll know who gets evicted Tuesday night, and more importantly, in the event anyone takes a fast dive off the Endurance Comp, we'll know that too, but the likelihood of us seeing it live, is beginning to sound rather unlikely.

I believe that the PoV Ceremony and Eviction will happen for the Studio Audience on Tuesday, and it will lead immediately to first part of the Final 3 HoH: the Endurance Comp.

So, in addition to the PoV Comp, we will see all of this on the Wednesday broadcast on CBS.

Then on the Thursday Show, we'll see the culmination of the Endurance Comp, which was played out on Tuesday night, in front of the tv audience... I'm hopeful they let them stay to watch the whole thing, so we have as many details as possible.

It wasn't a secret, per se, I just didn't want to screw up anyone's weekend...

But people, dishers at least, have been reacting *much* more positively than I ever imagined, and for this I am soooo incredibly grateful!

Thanks for the info Carolyn . . . I don't see how any of us will get mad at you for this . . . you are not CBS . . . you are the Dish . . . you tell us everything you know and some educated guesses . . . so, you know people attending Tuesday's show . . . that is great, they will tell us who gets evicted and any other tidbits that they can find out . . .

Well, I won't miss anything not watching the feeds whilst at work, that is a good thing . . .

Life is about laughing & living, in good & bad times. Getting through whatever comes our way & looking back & smiling.

Thanks for the info. So do we have any idea if part 2 and/or 3 will happen Thursday or will it be like last year with the final 3 all making it to finale night?

I got getted.

*Evil glare at Carolyn*

Of course I believe Carolyn's rundown of how things will happen but ...

I really seem to remember the F3 Endurance comp being live, not taped.

Season 6 and 7 come to mind first.
S6 being the hopping over the bunny in the cold cold rain and it lasted forever.

S7, Booger jumping off immediately because he was so PO'ed about Will getting evicted, then Janelle letting go of her key thinking she had already won, or something like that.

I remember the others but not who was playing them... some parts of me are short.

It just really seems we are watching live, or maybe just on the feeds. I dunno now.

And now I hear Wanky Wanky music.

Are we going to have a separate Morning Report?

I remember the other day, someone had blogged and was quite unhappy that some information wasn't on the dish . . . I think they thought you were connected to CBS or something like that . . . haven't seen them post again which is their loss . . . this comment section and the posts are all I use during the BB season . . . I remember a few seasons ago I did go looking at other sites . . . I was horrified at the bashing of HG and commentors . . . it was brutal . . .

I've said it before and I'll say it again:::

BBDish! Ya Gotta Have It!!!! I gotta have it and only it . . .

Even when I watch the live East Coast version, I have it so I don't see the tweets or whatever they are posting while watching the live show . . . I stay here at the dish in the comment section where I can safely share my opinions about who I want to see going forward . . .

My final 2 is still and will ever be Hayden and Lane . . . my humble opinion . . .

Thanks to Carolyn, Genie and Lessa for providing a safe place for us during the season and for sharing their insights . . .

Three Cheers for the Dish::

HipHip Hooray!

HipHip Hooray!

GayTor -

We were blocked during S6 for the final endurance. All others, we've seen.

My concern is that we're going to have a repeat of S6.

Everyone..

Fair warning..

We're about to have a new top post, as soon as I see the HGs.

How could you ever think that you are screwing up my weekend . . . or anyone else for that matter . . .

You make my weekend!!!!! I just wish I could get up early and comment with you in the early hours . . . I so like to sleep in on the weekend . . . having every other Friday off is such a treat . . . I guess I won't need to ask for Friday off if the comp is starting another day . . .

This is almost it Carolyn! I know you all have survivor to look forward to . . . I tried last year to get into it, to comment with you all but I am just not a survivor kind of girl . . . I would pop in and read . . . I think I even would comment a hello to you all . . . it will be hard the next few weeks . . . I will really have to clean my house instead of just doing what I have to do . . . I will do it all . . . already have a stack of paperwork that I need to go through . . . that can wait . . . the dish and the sun are more important right now . . .

I always run out of things to say towards the end of the season because I have repeated myself so many times. This has been one of the most disappointing seasons for me. The feeds and BBAD have been boring and the endurance comps have been non-existent. But most of my disappointment comes from the brigade.

Individually, I like everyone except Enzo. As an alliance, I have not enjoyed them at all. As for Enzo calling them the biggest power alliance ever and claiming they have made history, I don't agree at all.

Memorable alliances don't always have to win. I think Janelle, Howie and Kaysar were an incredible alliance. They were good in comps, strategic and loyal. The brigade, especially Enzo, were not good in comps. Their strategy was to piggyback off Matt and without him taking care of them those first few weeks they probably wouldn't be where they are now. Once they threw him to the wolves it blew any chance of them going down in history as having a solid alliance that were together from the beginning. If it had been 2 of them on the block and it was out of their control, it would be a different story. But they broke up their own alliance by sabotaging Matt.

There are powerhouse alliances that walk around with huge targets on their backs and secretive alliances that no one knows about. Some people play the role of villian, some end up looking like a hero.

The brigade is not a powerhouse alliance. They didn't rock the comps. They snuck through the game and did manage to keep the target off themselves most the time. But they weren't really a secret either. Kristin and Ragan figured it out. Other people suspected. Everyone was too busy playing personal this year instead of thinking strategy. The brigade's survival is based more on the foolish moves of others than on any mastermind moves of their own.

There are no Evel Dick type villains in the brigade. Hayden and Lane are, for the most part, nice guys. Enzo is a cartoon character. There are no Dan type heroes. Turning their backs on Matt took away any chance of them looking like the good guys.

The brigade will be remembered in the same way that I remember how much Jesse annoyed me. They won't be worshippd. I don't think they will go down as one of the greatest alliances in BB history. And after this season, I hope I never have to listen to Enzo's boasting again. Please, no BG in the AS or I may have to say GB.

Hi Kylee :)

Nope. They will not be playing another Veto. They played Saturday. That's already in the can. Tomorrow night at the taping, they will have the PoV Ceremony, followed by eviction, and then straight into the Endurance Comp, which, since it's not being launched from a live show, I doubt very sincerely that we'll be seeing it on the feeds.

Hey all,
I don't know about anyone else, but I will be highly upset if they block the Endurance comp from being seen on the live feeds. This is what I've been waiting to see all season and spending money for, an Endurance comp where the players actually want to win that may last for more than an hour or 2...lol

Julie never said it was a live show on wednesday. so i think the pov ceremony and eviction will be on monday. And wednesdays show will be taped. Brit will be going home sooner than she thinks.

grendon, you made some very valid points! The brigade exists because of the foolish moves of others---the stupid obsession so many otherwise potentially strong players had with Brenden and Rachael, most notably?

From Kristin, who never even played except for campaigning to stay during her nomination, when she could have won comps or at least accepted the early offer of Brenden and Rachel to form an 'alliance of the showmances' (weeks before the last minute offer she and Hayden made to save themselves)....to Britney, who also scoffed at Rachel's attempts to ally with her, which alliance would have left her far stronger than the brigade (crumbling under fears of Matt's betrayal at the time, as well as failures to win comps)--an alliance for Britney with others who tried and succeeded at winning comps....to Ragan, who blew his early friendship with Brenden and Rachel to spend the rest of his season in the house hating on them like a preteen girl who has been denied entry into the 'cool girl's clique'. What a waste! Each of these either went home or floated as a powerless and ignorant helper of the brigade, instead of going down in BB history as a kick-ass player. Had they fulfilled their potential, the brigade would have fallen and gone home early on, and only Hayden and/or Matt might remain, by virtue of their ability to win comps and ally with those who win them. Which was how you stayed in the house and in the game in other seasons of BB.....
