Friday Morning with the BB14 Final 3
Happy Friday, BB Lovers! Good morning to you and good morning to our HGs! Apologies for the lack of Overnight Report this morning.. There just wasn't much to tell ya! If you missed the Endurance Comp last night, here's the link to the coverage - tons of pics and such.
As promised, both Ian and Danielle handed the comp to Dan on a ruby and diamond encrusted golden platter. Doh! Really Danielle? After all that went down last night? Really?
One thing left me sour last night.. and you guys know I'm never about any kind of conspiracy theories.. but.. why? Why? Why? I'd like a clear answer from production as to why the endurance comp didn't start immediately as it always has. If they were going to wait all the way until the episode had aired on the west coast, fine.. That I can understand. But they didn't. So why?
The HGs are still locked inside, so I am hopeful that we'll have either a Luxury Comp or Part 2 of the Final 3 HoH this morning.. BB got to waking them awfully early for there not to be something significant happening.
Although she had quite the crying jag last night for Shane, Danielle seems to have forgiven Dan for his latest transgression, and since she's telling him verbatim the conversations between her and Ian, I believe she's sincere in her devotion to the mist. Ian, much less so.. I believe he's got Dan's F2 plan figured out, but he hasn't been able to figure a way out of it yet..

Dan's in the bathroom brushing his teeth. Ian's still in bed. Danielle makes her way to the bathroom, and Dan 1 arm hugs her good morning..

Ian makes his way to the bathroom, and talk turns to the construction noises coming from outside, which sends us briefly to fishies.
8:32am Ian's having a shower, Danielle's doing her makeup routine, Dan's tidying up the kitchen, and I'm about to hit publish so you don't all think I've gone completely awol.. ;)
8:40am See above. add dishes to Dan, and subtract shampoo from Ian's head.

***So.. I have some 20,000 caps from this season, and every time I go to grab one to put up on the blog, and have to scroll through all of em. Inevitably, it'll stop somewhere around half way through, then I pull the curson down to the bottom again to get there.
This was the half way stop point today. Enjoy. Call it an eye candy ghost blast. ;-)
8:51am Feeds come back after 5 minutes and all the HGs are dressed or dressing.. Something's up!
Ian: They gave us the washer and dryer.
Dan: Shhh.. Ian, use that spray. It'll make your clothes smell better.
8:57am After brief fishies, all HGs have reported to the HoH Room.
Dan: It's messy.
Ian: As we left it.

9:15am We're on an extended fishie break.. ♫lalalalaaaaa - According to some lovely dishers in the comment section who were paying more attention than me last night, the final 3 HGs are doing the season rundown for the Sunday Show over breakfast, instead of the usual dinner.. BB usually lets us in on this, at least after a while.
9:26am Our fishies turn to Trivia.. Hmmm..
9:42am Still trivia.. I hope they're getting eggs benedict.. yummm
9:51am BB gives us a quick little glimpse to confirm it is indeed the breakfast..
11:35am Feeds are back!!
Dan: I'm tired.
Ian: I am too.
Dan: I may just hibernate today.
Dan and Ian are clearing the table... and Dan plans to toss quite a bit of the food, since they'll never eat it.
**Dan, if you put it into the storage room, I'm sure the P.A.s would love to get their mitts on those desserts.

Dan pulls the table cloth off the table and Ian tells him Newton's Law is why that works.. and explains it.

Danielle's out of the DR, laying on the couch in the living room. Ian's called to the DR. Dan keeps singing "plates and cups and cups and plates," causing skippy keeps sending us fishing.

Dan: You're up one game.
Dan: The live feeders have gotta be like, Dan and Danielle are actually awake before noon? Somethings up. (pause) Something's not sitting well with me.. Maybe because it was real food, instead of Ralph's processed garbinos.
Ian: What a joke. What a joke. Quack Quack..

Ian has now grabbed the other couch in the living room.. Dan's out of the DR in a minute.. and we have all 3 HGs sprawled out where there used to be standing room only..

Good morning Carolyn! What an epic night! Hoping Ian can pull off wins in round 2 & 3 to guarantee he is in the F2 (with Dan, of course!). As promised last week, I finally hit the tip jar this morning. I hope everyone who is part of the Dish hits it before the season ends.

I keep thinking Dan is overplaying his hand, but he seems to always get out of it. I mean, doesn't he realize that either Dani or Ian could pick up on the fact that he probably has a final two with both of them and band together to get him out (if he doesn't win Part III, that is)? On Part I, especially, it was painfully obvious that Danielle threw the comp just after Dan got her alone, so Ian knows something is up and is NOT happy about it. Gotta love that kid for his uneasiness with the backstabbing that his "partner in crime" is doing. And, I don't know if it was for the cameras, but Danielle seems to be feeling some ethical uneasiness as well. However, I am somewhat skeptical of her because she didn't have the real meltdown until after she confirmed that BBAD was on them. ??? I don't see how Dan keeps it together and gets either one of them to take him to final after all these shenanigans, but he's managed to pull it off before. And, you kind of have to hand it to him if he makes it all the way. Ian will beat him, though, in a F2, so Dan must be planning on taking Danielle unless Ian can figure out a way to win both Part II and III and cut him out at the end. Can't wait to see how it will play out.

Hi Carolyn, as far as a conspiracy, what was the gain?
AfterDark was interesting last night. A cliff notes version of Danielle's whole game: Dan tells her exactly what to do and what to say, and she goes and does it. He told her word for word the lies to tell Ian, the problem is Ian isn't Shane. He looked to be humoring her, but he wont be throwing the next two. Shane got sent home because his game was more naive than Lawon's. No other HG would have been ok with their closest ally putting them up as a replacement nom at final4.
Dan has played a great game. If he lets this Delusional little girl walk away with 500k, me and AGP will never forgive him

I think someone else already said this, but I imagine the delay in the endurance comp was to gather a bunch of DR's with reactions in the immediate aftermath of the double blindside eviction.
That seems the most likely reason to me.

Even if Ian and Danielle tell each other about Dan, I think they still won't take each other. Danielle believes she would never win over Ian and Ian thinks the same about Danielle. So right now Dan is in a great situation.
There could be a change of mind between Ian and Danielle but I find that unlikely.
Jade - I think Dan definitely wins against Danielle, but I'm not sure about Ian..
Amber - Do we know this for certain, or guessing?
John - That seems likely to me as well, but since when are DR sessions worth dumping the revenue CBS would have generated from feed sales for the final 3 endurance comp?

I think if Danielle or Ian win part 3 that whoever doesn't take Dan will win the money. The whole jury house is pissed at Dan and would be happy to see someone to evict him. That is my dream that the ultimate player got got. I think if Dan makes it to the final 2 he had pretty much guaranteed his victory on gameplay.

Why under estimate Danielle? Frank, Ashley, Shane, and joe won't vote for Dan. That's almost certain.

What I think we are seeing with Dan and Danielle's relationship is akin to Stockholm Syndrome.
Danielle is an otherwise smart and confident woman who would never be convinced in her real life to make so many unwise decisions.
I suspect the jury will be unkind to her and she will certainly be disappointed when she reads how she was the point of ridicule by so many, for example Twitter.
AGP should offer her maximum support after the show concludes. She should be offered counseling and complete emotional support.
I don't blame Dan for how he has played, he wants the prize. I don't think he knows how far he has pushed her.
Shane told Julie , that the reason he was evicted was b/c. Dan is a dirty player, well Shane must be too, b/c he did the same thing to Frank, shake on a final 3 deal and then lie to him all week and sent him packing. ???? Difference!!!

I am a long time BB fan since season 1. And BBAD since it came on. Ive been reading dish for a long time as well. Yesterday I signed up for the live feeds because I thought it was going to be a long endurance. I was disappointed from the get go. Trivia for a while and then when it came on feeds the final 3 had already been at it because they were drenched. Now its been on trivia awhile again. So basically, we CANT peep at the houseguests 24/7 because its filtered? I was thinking about being a live feeder next year but now am unsure it its worth it. Cmon you lifetime live feeders is this a fluke maybe, and its not normally like this? I dont want to pay to see fish, read trivia and hear that BB tune all day.

Good mornning BB fans. Iknow there are lots of Dan fans out there and sometimes I am a fan and sometimes, I'm not. I think if Ian gets Hoh and takes Danielle he may have a clean sweep of jury votes because he got Dan out of the game. I do think it should be Ian and Dan in the Final 2 but I wonder what Ian will do.
I just had another thought. The endurance competition used an extremely involved contraption. Perhaps it was nothing more than technical difficulties?

Dan deserves the win IMO with Ian taking 2nd place. With this jury though I think the only ones intelligent enough to vote on gameplay are Britney, Joe and Jenn. Dan has run this game and all Danielle has been is his puppetmaster.

I cant remember it ever happening. I think, other than annoying the live feeds, it was inconsequential as far as game. AGP must have been sure this was gonna go down and wanted to capture something, but I dont see how it could affect the game any more than anything else they do

Hi Gidget :) Yeah.. I was disappointed by the length of the comp too. FIshies and trivia happen, but fishies are usually quite quick.. Trivia is for comps and such. Some people get hung up on it. Personally.. I can't imagine watching Big Brother without the feeds, but this is a rough time of year to judge it by.. Next time, I recommend you dive in at the beginning.. MUCH more exciting. :)

In Survivor the jury has gone away from game play and squarely to personality.
Notice how Britney last night stuck up (sort of) for Dan's game play. Frank claims to love the game, we'll see. One vote that is personal is Shane's. I can't see that changing.

Howdy Caro and everyone else that has woken up today. I am so glad for Caro's coverage since I for one fell asleep after waiting so long for the comp to begin. I had my laptop on the bed next to my head, saw Ian drop. I even made it to where he went inside and came back outside. Then next thing I saw was a quad of sleeping bodies and what looked like a grill with a partly eaten pizza on top.
Now since the dish chicks are so great I'm diving back in.

I was pretty shocked at how badly Frank was taking jury house. Hopefully, he will man-up and realize he was outplayed. If he does, he will vote for Dan or Ian. I think Ashley's vote is a lock for Dan or Ian
Good Morning/Afternoon! :) Even if Ian has figured this out I don't understand why he would take Dan over Dani knowing that it's the harder route to 500k. I guess out of loyalty and hoping that people still hate Dan. But why put yourself through that. Also I think if it were anyone else there (except Frank) I honestly think Dani would go to final 2 with them instead of Dan. So yrs Dani is totally being misted but Dan is still her best option. There are at least 2 people who will not vote for Dan (Frank and Joe) and possibly three with Ashley. Actually I take that back about Joe. He's an uncertainty. I could never figure out if he dislike him because he was a good player and he knew he couldn't trust him or if he didn't like him for the way he played his game. Either way Dani has possibilities with Dan sitting next to her. With Ian? I wouldn't be surprised if he got a 6-1 or 7-0 vote against her. I think Joe and Jenn are going to possible swing votes. With Jenn leaning towards Dani. Anyway, I forgot what my main point was lol. I sure it's in there somewhere.

It occurred to me last night, maybe one of the reasons Dan is being so incredibly cut throat for the last few weeks is because his main goal really is to coach a player to half a million dollars, and to not win it himself. Maybe second place is all he wants and his player (Danielle) winning the game is his personal ultimate prize.
Or have I been Dan misted?

Last night, if Dani would have forced the puppet's puppet (Shane) to vote out Dan, i would have Hated it! But, she would have hands down deserved to win the game based on that single move. That would have been real gameplay, and I would have respected it. Just like "The Lie" in bb11
I've said that I would really love for the next one or two seasons to be newbies only, no vets at all.
However, I would love love love to watch Dr. Will and Dan play the game together. Throw in ED, Rachel, Danielle (BB3), Maggie, Janelle, and Jun and I would be in heaven. And a few others who aren't coming to immediate mind at the moment. The most ruthless of them all and the greatest at the comps of them all......WOW!

I hate to say it, but I think you have been misted. Putting aside my personal anti-Dan feelings, I am basing my opinion on Dan's DRs and things he has said to the feeders when no one else was around.
He has made it very clear that his one and only goal is to win at all costs. While I do believe he may take Danielle if he is the one in the position of making the final choice, I don't believe it is to help her win. I think the ulterior motive would be to have another feather in his cap, (being down to one player since the first week, getting his player to the end of the game, being the only coach to make it to the end of the game) thus giving him another reason to tell the jury why he deserves to win.

I think he wants the money, but I think it would also be a great accomplishment and consolation prize for him if he makes f2 with her. I'm hoping Dan's last BB ninja lesson to her is "How to cut the Strings"
I have been thinking a great deal about Dan, but I am not going to share my thoughts because I might be injured in my sleep. Suffice it to say, I believe Danielle has Stockholm syndrome.
Oh, Blue. You have been so misted. I feel like there has been massive mist attack and I'm the only one with a gas mask.
I was just thinking/wondering would Dan have been able to mist his way to the end if he stared playing the game from the beginning. No coaching. I actually think he would. My proof? When Dan only had Dani left on his team and even though people knew Dan was dangerous and hsd suspicions that coaches were coming into the game they still let talk them out of it/ talk themselves out of it. And when he came into the game he was able to get people to trust him even though they knew not to. He plays on everyone's weaknesses. Like Ian. He knows Ian wantd to beat the best. So he made a Renegades 2.0 just for Ian. No one else would fall for that. And Dani. He knows she is the only one who he can stab continously in the back tell her it was all for her benefit and she comes running back. When I sit down and think about it. He really is one of the greatest if not the greatest BB player I hace ever seen.

What a night! I felt bad for Shane, but everyone seems to have forgotten that he and Dani had a secret F2 deal. That means he was going after Dan next, and Dan just beat him to it. In my opinion, that's not dirty, just good gameplay.
Oh Dani...the only way for her to win is to win out and take Ian. Then she can claim that she was using Dan the whole time to get to the end. If she takes Dan, she looks like the one who was used. The problem is, she HAS been mIsted and she must wake up in order for this to happen!
I think Dan is the best player ever...but I just love Ian and his gameplay had been stellar as well. I'd love to see them in a final two because they have played this game the best. Who wins makes no difference to me!

I believe Big Brother has proven to be an excellent training camp for Dan in his subconscious quest for a dictatorship, or perhaps to lead a dangerous cult. We will be seeing big things from him -- like his face on giant billboards along the Santa Monica freeway.

Even though I was pretty sure it was coming, I was so sad to see Shane leave last night....purely from a human perspective. Game play aside, he is a stand up guy who was pleasant with everyone, helped them become healthier people, and has always been gracious.
I try every year to not have a favorite so that I'm not decimated when they get booted and having these 3 as options will be fun to watch!
I can't tell if Dan is a genius, or if everyone else are stupid..That is why I think it's a bad idea to mix former guest with new ones. They never ever ever play their own game, they are ultimate pawns in past guest games... I can't understand why in the world would Danielle take Dan off the block when the whole plan (so she thought) was to get rid of Ian. No red flags nothing...

Jury: How did it benefit you to take off Dan and put up your guaranteed F2 ally Shane. Knowing that Dan wanted Shane gone. Even though you knew it would be better for you to have 2 people guaranteeing you F2?
Dani: Well Dan told me it would help me in the end. And I listen to all his scenarios and decided they were better than mine.

I agree with Mark. We, myself included, have all thought Dan would be a shoo-in to beat Danielle. Last night I started thinking about how people would vote.
Britney and Ian would probably vote for Dan because they have both given him credit for the move even when it worked against them.
I'm not positive how Joe would vote, but he has not liked Dan for a while. I think Shane and Jenn are sure votes for Danielle. Frank has played personally since day one (even if he claims not to have), I think he would vote for Danielle and Ashley would probably follow Frank and Jenn.
If Dan were in the final 2 with Ian-Ian would have Britney for sure and probably Ashley. Dan would have Danielle and probably Jenn. Joe is a complete toss-up in that case. Is Shane going to be swayed more by Brit or Dani? That's hard to say. I think Frank would vote for Dan. He is pissed at both but doesn't want it brought to attention that he screwed up by not getting Dan out when he had the chance. With Ian, he can place all the blame on him for ruining their whole alliance and being a backstabber.
Sometimes the jury completely surprises me but I am basing my guess off whether people can appreciate the game or whether they do think it was personal. I always thought Ian would be a definite winner and still think he could pull it off, but I think Dan actually has a better chance against Ian than Danielle.
Unless, of course, we can't get past the curse of a woman never beating a man in the finals.

Definitely Carolyn. Dani has been doused in mist. The funny thing is if anyone ask if Dab was loyal to anybody it would be her. He may have blindsided and used her but he never backstabbed her. If he did she would be gone. That's the cherry on top of the sundae in convincing people he should win.

Grendon - you're in my head again! I've been thinking & pondering that lately as well.
My husband was cracking up at me last night because I was so flabbergasted that Dani believed Dan again! I'm sure it's so hard to be in there so I may be off base....BUT, what happened to this poor girl that causes her to continue to put her trust in someone who completely decimates her MULTIPLE times! I was very huffy & puffy over it last night & my household found it very amusing...me, not so much. :o)
As much as I can hand it to Dan that he's playing a genius game, I am just beyond myself that Dani is still misted.
Why in the world didn't she ask Ian straight up if he & Dan have a final 2 last night when Dan was in the DR forever??!! I mean, he may have lied, but Ian isn't a very good liar so at least maybe she'd have a clue.
Just completely befuddled and baffled by Ms Danielle. I don't care who you are...fool me once, shame on you but fool me twice & I have to look at the mirror.

Sorry I've been missing Carolyn. With the lag in feeds I seem to always be checking in when nothing is going on in the house. I see jane has been doing a good job of speaking for me though. Maybe she and I could invent the anti-mist and 'un-Dan' people as they leave the BB house.
Blue, I would love a shirt that says "I Got Misted". I think it would also be a great gift from to Dan to the other HG's....heehee....sounds like you need one, too;)

Re: Last night and why the feeds didn't come back and endurance comp didn't start until later I think what they mentioned for Sunday's show is the key "See the fallout from Dan's blindside". I'll bet Dani was freaking the f out. She probably had to go see the doc and calm down before they could go to the comp. Otherwise I bet they would've had to bleep out a lots profanity from her.

Ok the person that should have spoke up on the replacement nominee should have been Shane! OMG, this is a game and your shomance wants to put you on the block. He should say that he didn't care if he got blood on his hands! Ugh I'm just so frustrated with Dan this year. I know he had to change his gameplay. But I think his ultimate goal is to be the Only Two Time Winner. The money is just a bonus.

I love watching the feeds and I love this website very much but I think since I started watching the feeds it has almost ruin the game for me. If that was anyone else that was anyone else that was going to get blind sided they would have the Dr going crazy to.save them. But since it was Dan and they want him and Ian in the.end together they let dani and shane both look stupid. I know this is a game but I am worried for dani ...Dan has her so misted and when she watches this and see how people don't like her and Dan was playing her she will lose it . Dan has always been one of my favorite but after last conversation with dani on bbad I feel sick I cried over TV ..wow I felt dumb but as a mom I would never want my daughter treated like that. I would love for dani to win second half of HOH and third and take out Dan even though she won't din against Ian she would have at least some dignity back...thanks onces again for your website.
I'm really disappointed about how much down time there is at this point! I can't imagine how much time we are going to have to kill before the finale! Is it like this everry year? This is my first year on the feeds and I have been loving it. This couple of days I have been mistified that Ian has survived to this point. He lost the POV and then lost the first half of the HOH ompetition. I think he can win this thing if he can win the second half and get a chance to go to the jury. When will they play that competion? This waiting is killing me!
I just pray the Ian has enough sense not to throw the 2nd game. I am not happy with Dan this year at all. Yes he has had some great moves but at some serious expense to others. I can't believe that Dani thinks she will win against him after all that he has done to her. I guess the DRs are just wanting Dan to win because it doesn't seem like they are giving any thoughts to Ian or Dani and making them think beyond the mist.

Very curious about the delay in the comp last night too. That could have had a huge influence on the game. Another thing that strikes me as odd is how much they showed Shane of the conversation between Dan and Dani after he left. They usually show the HGs milling about before HOH starts but this was way more than that. It would seem his vote is locked up for Dani but he still got to see fall out from his eviction that no other HG has had. Weird.

I really hope that Danielle doesn't talk Ian into throwing the next comp. Ian either wins or finishes in 3rd place. I don't understand why they threw the endurance comp last night, just doesn't see logical.
Also I'm so sick of Danielle crying about Shane, she enabled his demise in the house. He was really mad at everyone, that may come out at the reunion.
WoW what a season, like to see Ian win, or Dan, but wouldn't be disappointed if Danielle pulls this off either. First season I've been able to say that LOL. Usually the one I want to win gets evicted.
If anybody saw the interview with Shane and Jeff. Shane said he won't vote for Dan. I was thinking as I typed this that Dan might have a better shot at it if he takes Ian. But then Dani would ve pissed and they would both vote against him. His best option would be if Ian won and took Dan. I don't think Dani would think a F2 deal is the culprit of Ian picking Dan. Then Dani would convince Shane and he has Britney and Dani could get Jenn too and that's four. Looks like Ian is Dan's ticket to 500k. If Ian's the one who won it.
I am not happy that dan/dani want to double team Ian and try and get him to throw the next comp. Go ahead Dan and gang up on a 21 yr old. Ian is stressed out enough already and does have feelings for others, which you don't seem to have. I wish Ian and Dani would get Dan out.

Today while doing my catch-up on all the posts from last night I could not help but wonder IF
if only we at home that watch the feeds could be the ones to vote ya'll out like in the first season....who would now be in the jury house and who would be the final 3?
I had mentioned before the twist that the twist should be "let America vote". The more I think about it the more I think AG should give that a thought for next year. We would know who was the sneaky one and get them out pronto and there would be no blood on any HG hands.
I never thought I would say this but I hope Ian wins! I do NOT like this new Evil Dan and I do not want him to win and I am SOOOOOOO sick of Danielle doing everything he tells her to do and believing everything he says! I liked Dan better when he was honest and loyal, and he won when he played an honest game. Why does he think that he needs to be such a d-bag this time??? Very disappointed. I am also really getting sick of BB bringing back former HGs they need to let new people play and play it their own way like it used to be. The game and the show have gotten boring with the return of former HGs because the new HGs become sheep and just follow the old HGs. This may be mylast season to watch if they keep bringing back former HGs too bad, it used to be a great show! Carolyn your blog has been my BB go to place for many years now, Thanks for what you do!
I don't like Dani but I am concerned for her at the finale. I think Dan will do a trip on her with his speech plus once the others Jodi, Janie, JoJo get ahold of her about her lies, things could get bad.
