Happy Thursday, Big Brother Lovers
Good Morning, Big Brother lovers! 3 more days!!!! Before BB10 gets going 100% full swing, we've got a couple more BB9 interviews to run. :) Check back around noonish for the 1st one.
Seems a couple of the BB10 houseguests know a couple of the previous houseguests. First up - Keesha, the Hooters Girl, knows Zach. This is confirmed by Zach. Apparently, she's watched his pet turtle for him a couple times when he went out of town.
I'll be revealing the other one during an interview to be posted later today...
If we go by the spoilers, RealityBBQ has been posting, then we may know who the HoH is already, as well as who's annoying who in the house. Since their source was right about the cast list, I'm trusting this too. Go ahead and click that link to get straight to the potential spoiler... unless you wanna be surprised on Sunday night. I kinda wish I'd waited. lol. We get so few surprises once the season starts.
OK.. so I made it through all the videos last night - finally. That was quite a commitment, but I really wanted to get a feel for the folks, and avoid the trap of not being familiar enough with them and referring to them as blond chick, muscle guy, etc for the first couple days.
So far, I'm enjoying pretty much everyone... First impressions: I thought Angie was a hoot. Michelle seems refreshingly real. Steven is a sweetie. Brian too. Libra, I'm just digging. I enjoyed Renny. Jerry, I enjoyed in that no-nonsense Grampa vibe he's got going, and I'd love to see him go far, but I don't hold out much early hope for it... Memphis? I really didn't get a feel for him from the interview, so the jury's still out on that one.
A few things said definitely bothered me, but not enough to start a campaign. Just a bit bothered by April's cavalier attitude about her DUI - like the only thing wrong with it is that she got caught. That's my issue though... I sat there watching her thinking, oh really? Tell it to my dead sister - killed by a drunk driver.
I think April's real issue in the house will be all the OCD issues she mentioned.
Either way, I wish her, and the others luck... and I can't wait to start watching all of them on the live feeds. If you haven't signed up for the free trial yet, make sure you do before July 13th. That's when the Early Bird Special prices end.
Getting past Ollie's anti gay statement from the commercials (which definitely bugged) and just listening to the interview, I liked him. Again, I don't know how long he'll last though, because his knowledge of the game is so limited.
Dan, who I was also predisposed to disliking based on the commercials and his attitudes about women, I actually found somewhat charming in the interview and very smart. He seems devious enough to make it far in the game, IF he can do as he said he will and keep his politics and cave man attitudes to himself.
I found it funny that this crew seems to have been screened to the hilt to make sure there will be no surprises (porn). And I found it interesting that much of the cast is actually anti-politics of any kind and completely removed from the process... Maybe all those political ads were just designed to capitalize on the election year.
I know I've missed a few people - these are just the ones that stood out most for me during the interviews with Diane. First impressions...
How about yours?
Incidentally, CBS has released more interviews on youtube. Here's Steven telling about his mom's reaction when he came out to her. Oy. Makes me wanna hug him.
To see the rest of them, click here. It'll take you to page 2 of CBS' videos, and that's where all the HGs are - as of this writing.
See ya in a few!
