The Overnight Roundup!

Good Morning, Big Brother Lovers! Happy Monday!

Last night on the feeds, there just wasn't a whole lot of game talk. Instead, it was all about sex and love and relationships. So, instead of calling this an overnight report, I'm calling it an overnight round up.

The HGs also put on another little show in the backyard, but this one was unintentional... Ollie got a bunch of the HGs together to do the electric slide, just so they'd be doing something together and having fun. They even provided their own soundtrack. No singing, ofcourse, but they were their own human beat boxes. Good times! :)

Dan was playing cupid again last night, he is now pointing his arrows at Michelle and Jessie. He told Michelle he's not trying to push them together, he's just taking what he sees as an obvious spark between two people and trying to help ignite it.

Jessie and Michelle did spend quite a lot of alone time together last night, to the point where other HGs started to tease them about it more in earnest (Renny, especially). Michelle took offense, Jessie comforted her, and the tease goes on. No action.

The sex talk started in the afternoon, and as they weren't getting any relief, it continued all night long, even until bedtime. They're so starved, Steven's offering his services to the women.... He's a giver.

Ok, so after having watched a full week of these people, here are my impressions of the HGs (still in the game)...

Ollie -- He's a total punk. Not only did he break his word, but he went 180° out of his way to lead the witch hunt up to the HOH room (confronting Jerry about Brian). If he was smart, he would've kept his mouth shut, deflected the heat April and Libra were putting on him, and left his (original) alliance intact.

If there was one thing I wish people would've learned from last season, it's "Don't put up, re-nom, vote for, or send home a member of your own alliance". Do not take moves from the Alex Coladonato playbook (they obviously didn't work for him). This is a game of numbers. When you send one of your own home, you lose power. How can these people NOT understand that?

Ollie's sunk his own ship by choosing to now be on the outer edges of a weak, emotionally unstable alliance, and giving everyone a reason to focus on him with his burgeoning showmance. Bad move.

Jessie -- Dude is weird looking. In like a "Sloth from the Goonies" sort-of-way. He gets entirely too pissed off about every little thing in the house. He's a d**che and he needs to settle down on several fronts in the game. I mean, really? You stayed up all night to make sure the other side didn't have a chance to get votes for Brian? That's just f-ing stupid. I can't imagine how rampant his paranoia will be by the time day 22 rolls around. Or 23. Hell, even day 17. His competition strength will thankfully draw lots of attention his way in the coming weeks, no doubt earning him a spot in one of the two living room chairs. And let's just talk about that for a second (drawing attention). You sit out the first reward/food comp so nobody "is intimidated by this physique" but then you go out and win the very next two comps. Way to keep the focus off of yourself, moron.

Morning dish fans!

The Real Deal is priceless! His videos crack me up! I'm so glad he has joined the Dish!

These HGs crack me up so much, I can't help but like them. It is going to be so hard to root for one to win. Seriously!

Hope you all have a great morning!

Memphis -- Didn't like him early on. Still seems pretty fake and a bit "too cool for school". But he's worked back into an "I dunno" status after he started hanging with "the outsiders". I think that with his mental and physical abilities, along with his slightly off-the-radar gameplay, he could possibly coast to the end. He's kinda had the Adam strategy thus far.

Michelle -- Total psycho. Total phony. She's this year's Amber. The way she feels slighted by the most insignificant things (well I want to be your bestest best friend, why are you talking to her and not ME??) will cause her to get on people's nerves really quickly. That, and the fact that she's constantly doing status checks with people every five minutes. Also, her fake sympathy for everyone rivals that of Sheila or Allison. I would probably rather shoot myself in the face than have to live in a house with this extremely needy, fake-ass woman.

Angie -- Seems pretty cool. She could turn into a real player later on in the game (if she manages to make amends for last week). I think she's laying low right now and going with the flow. But she's going to pop back up on the radar and start capping kids at the knees, when the time's appropriate. Or at least I hope.

Dan -- Didn't watch the interviews so I'm not all mixed up in the pre-hate for this kid. He seems like he could be very good at the game. Unfortunately, he got caught with "the leper" and will be going home soon. That is, unless he can pull a Zach, who was also part of an early alliance that was completely dismantled. He ended up laying low, selling out his vote, and looking the part of someone who was an absolute non-threat, long after his alliancemates were evicted. If Dan can do the same, he can come back from presumed dead status and have a shot at the money.

Good morning Carolyn and all BB lovers!
Those clips were hilarious! Too funny. These guys just have too much fun.
Was that Keesha cackling like a jackyl (sp?)?? It's almost too much...like nails on a chalk board.
Oh and the girls with Jessie last night...that boy is such a peacock! All he could do was look at his reflection.
Thanks for the good laughs this morning!

Jerry -- I know everyone loves the sweet, innocent grandpa-like figures on these shows, but I'm over this guy. In my mind, he's no better than Ollie. He acts like Brian came up to him and made deals and whatnot. In actuality, Brian went up to talk to him about noms and Jerry proposed an alliance, using moronic hand signals to talk, and all this other garbage.

Brian just kinda went along with it, as I imagine he did with all the people who thought they were in an alliance with him. What was he supposed to do, tell the HOH he had no desire to be in a mutually exclusive alliance with him? Jerry only has himself to blame for getting a little overzealous and thinking Brian had loyalties to only him.

Plus, Jerry's kinda creepy with the way he's always eyeballing the girls or telling them how "hot" they are. I'm sure he has underwear older than them. Skeeve.

Renny -- This year's Sheila. Except that she IS totally off-her-ass crazy. Could've gone home first, but will probably coast to (at least) the final 5 now. I started off quite annoyed with her, but have come to enjoy her nutty, yet laid-back, smooth commentary (DR sessions) and approach to the game.

Keesha -- Keesha is in no way, shape, or form Daniele. Or for that matter, even remotely on her level. Daniele is 500X this chick. I wouldn't even compare Keesha to a broke, oldass, busted, weathered, trailer park version of Dani. This girl is missing a visible tooth and has a high-pitched cackle for F's sake. She's also displayed absolutely no strategical mind or physical prowess whatsoever. Anyone who wants to compare the two should really go back and watch just about anything from season 8. There is no comparison. Dani is teh awesome. Keesha is annoying, and disgusting.

After watching last night's show I dislike Jessie even more. He really comes off as a very immature kid. The power definitely went to his head I think. Anyway, doesn't seem like that much game talk went on last night. There will probably be more today. BTW, have a good week everyone :)

April -- Kinda liked her in the beginning, but due to her way-too-early showmance, her frequent meltdowns, her constant paranoia, and the hanging from Libra's jockstrap, she's lost quite a bit of shine for me. I thought she could've been a smart player, but she's just been a spineless little follower.

Libra -- Ugh. Just ugh. She's beyond a control freak. Thankfully she's been applying a gigantic bullseye to her own backside and will be (hopefully) leaving very shortly. If Michelle and Jessie were smart, they would've gone ahead and taken out the second ring-leader in the house this week (instead of going after a severely weak Steven). Then they would've had two groups of impotent zombies walking around without any sort of direction. Instead, they bowed to her power over them. By letting Libra stay in, they've allowed her to keep serving up the kool-aid to her loyal minions, making her a tougher out down the road.

Steven -- Mostly just like him because he's not part of the Cult of Libra. Doesn't seem like he'll be going far or doing much game-wise. He's basically just a stage prop until Wednesday night. Not really sure why he's the target and I don't think anyone in the house can tell me why either. Oh wait. Because he talked to Brian? Genius strategy, people.

Thanks for the love fest That Guy Said. Good to see we are all keeping such a positive attitude. ;-)

I'm not going to analyize everyone, but I thought I would mention ... even Dani wasn't Dani. Remember, she alienated herself completely the first half of the season and she would have been dead meat except for daddy. And he would have been murdered (probably literally) except for his soft side with his kid. They were a team that can never be replaced. The dynamics of situation and personalities were too specific. They were a force. But that whole rekindling then working as a team thing could never happen again. It was a place in time.

What makes each season interesting is there is no real way to compare them. The group dynamics will always be different. The only thing I can say that always seems to work well, is a true alliance. We've only seen it twice really ... Dick and Dani and Dr. Will and Boogie.

No one is perfect, but I really do like them all, except Jessie - who really needs to be hit over the head with a rubber mallet, like in the cartoon he is built for.

Morning Dishers!! I love that the HG are having so much fun and think that they are just hysterical, other than Jessie. I don't think he is funny, just the things he does are funny. Last night with the girls was priceless, all he did was continue to gaze at himself in the mirror....I just can't figure the guy out. Is the guy really that into himself? For real?

The bedroom clip was so funny. Steven was in top form and had those girls going. Think it is great to see them just chillin' a bit and not trashin' each other constantly.

Dan was funny, but if you watched it live, he was a bit of a one trick pony. Every conversation he would repeat his mantra. It was cute the first 3x and then it got old. I think he is trying really hard, but he is a little limited by his Catholic school thing. He can't really keep up with the raunch and he's trying desperately to work around it. It's hard not to work blue in that house. Balloon clowns just don't cut it.

I agree with you on most. Still have somewhat of a soft spot for the old man... too much ageism going around these days.

As for Michelle, you failed to mention that she thinks she is a LOOKER and that is another reason she reminds me of Amber. Sure is perfect for the other 'humble' person in the house... Jessie.

And for those who may think I am scrooge this season... I just don't like the split house from the very start. I can't stand the "how dare she or he talk to so and so". I wish there were many small groups rather than this divided house by two. I am tired of people just following a flock of whatever. This seems so much like our 'democratic' electoral process... little to choose from if you are an independent thinker. Oh well, at least BB is a game. I hope and wish the big group is shattered soon.

I absolutely love when all the game talk is put aside and they actually seem to enjoy one another. I can even take the fake ones for a minute or two. I think, outside of the house, these people are all good people... they are just stinky as players. But then again, that is just my opinion (and many others on other sites.)

Sweet Carolyn, I'll email you later today. Thanks for the question. <3

Michelle apparently doesn't know about the phrase "The appearance of impropriety." There she & Jessie are hiding their faces under pillows & etc in a "common room" as opposed to the HoH room...what did she THINK that was going to look like? That whining from last week & now this whining is making her get on my nerves. And what's up w/ getting annoyed that Steve tried to get her to use the POV...HEY YOU TWIT...HE'S ON THE BLOCK...SO HE'S SUPPOSED TO TRY & GET YOU TO USE IT. GEESH! PLUS, if I remember correctly using the POV & putting up Libra was not JUST Steve's idea...& as a matter of fact...didn't she, herself, already think/talk about that before Steve talked to her about that.

Remember Cosby & his line about every family having an "INFORMER" (mole if you will)...well I nom Michelle for that title. As just one example: seeking ppl out to tell them 'Oh, Renny left her mic in the bathroom again' before giving it to Renny. I mean I know that's not that big of a deal in terms of "ratting" somebody out but why did feel the need to report that information other than to just be an informer?

A side note: BB needs to tell the HGs to STOP THAT when it comes to them purposely trying to prevent the mics from picking up their convo AND ENFORCE it by making a whole house announcement something to the effect of "JESSIE & MICHELLE STOP TALKING WHILE MUFFLING THE MICS ON PURPOSE." or just "JESSIE & MICHELLE STOP WHISPERING." Even the HGs that don't win are being PAID a salary (stipend) to be on the show & hence are employees of CBS/BB so them trying to hide what they're saying from BB should be prevented....b/c hey the show IS CALLED BIG BROTHER for Pete's sake. Also no talking should be allowed while water noise is preventing the mics from picking up discussion.

that guy said: "two groups of impotent zombies"

Classic line, and really, great justification to get rid of Libra.

Last night on BBAD was the worst night so far. Boring. I also wonder why the producers allowed Jessie and Michelle to talk under pillows without their mics. Some penalties should occur for that. Jessie's mic was laying three feet away on the couch.
