This deal sucks, but it may actually help Dan out a lot in the long run. He already has Memphis and Keesha close to him...this deal could buy respect from April, Ollie and Michelle if he sticks to it and gets Jerry out this week. He will need the jury votes if he gets to final 2.

Okay I have a question. Now it may be a stupid question but it's a question.
Why did Dan offer safety for another person when at first O was only asking safety for himself?
Are Dan & Memphis talking about taking Michelle to the F4 still? If so could it be because this could be the excuse for Dan not putting her on the block?

Dan could have gotten away with only offering safety to O. Which I still wasn't much of a happy camper with but still that would have been only "one" person not two.

I liked the fact that they all seemed more human after the comp tonight, but I was really surprised that they didn't congratulate Dan and Ollie more... maybe that was off camera when the feeds cut out? What--no hugs?
Dan asked Ollie if he told Michelle she was safe yet and Ollie lied and said NO. Can't wait to see their conversation. Dan said he'd consult with Ollie first about nominations.
This is actually really smart of Dan. He can now paint a huge target on Ollie and Michelle's backs, forcing Renny/Keesha to go after them and vice versa. Dan stays safe.

I think Dan extended too large of an offer for Ollie offering him two picks. Ollie would have taken the safety without a second person.IMO
This will be an interesting HOH. Once he chooses between Renny Keesha or Jerry to go on the block, the house will see his partnership with Memphis.
We all know how Memphis feels about being a pawn. I don't see it happening after Dan had him shake on the deal.

I was routing for Dan all the way! Good for him. I wish that Dan wouldn't have offered Ollie a twofer deal though, he left it wide open for Michelle. I expect he will put Jerry and someone else up, prolly Renny as his "pawn". Jerry will go, not Renny - Well that is my prediction anyway.

I'm sorry but this deal really...what am I allowed to say (sucks, bites, blows) Well it does something that's NOT good.
If Dan breaks the deal he looks like the liar even though we all know Michelle and Ollie are liars. They will never stick to their word. Never feel an obligation to keep Dan safe. They and April will continue their vile comments about everyone else. And if one of them wins Dan will be a laughingstock.
I can't comprehend the reasoning behind this. Dan should have known that Ollie was going to fall. This deal is SOOO much worse than I thought. Dan stood a better chance of winning if he had dropped.
And to see Michelle stand there and lie to Memphis, the one person who her beloved Jesse told her to stick by, I think she is a disgusting excuse for a human being. I think Ollie and April deserve each other. And Dan, I only hope you can have the same ability to go back on your word that Dr. Will had. Earlier after talking to Renny and Memphis in the hippy room, Dan walked out and muttered something about someone being the 'only one to give me a hug'. Who was he talking about? I'm thinking Jerry, but not sure. I'm thinking with the corner he's put himself in with the deal he made that it pretty much just leaves Jerry for him to put up without screwing his own plans. Anyway, not sure, so thought I'd ask if anyone else had any ideas what he meant by the 'only one to hug me' comment.

Too bad they can't do it this week. I really think Dan's noms will be Jerry and Renny. With only 4 people voting he should be able to get his way since he would be the tie breaker. Hopefully it's Jerry he wants out not Renny since so many of us love her. I'm worried about her after the doubt she placed in them last week.

A couple of weeks ago Dan was showering and wondering if he still had a job and asked for someone to start a website requesting to save his job. Well someone did start one.

I have a funny feeling all is not what it seems! I want to have faith in Dan, he has been too shrewd to just give it all away please tell me he is somehow playin Ollie.
I can't read these blogs much anymore. There is so much hate directed one way, when other HGs do the same thing. Memphis has been playing all sides from the beginning. Dan was a floater and AP and loyal to who he needs more. Renny has been strong, as has Jerry. Keesha has been on one side. Michelle has been thrown to the wolves more than once and done what she had to to stay alive. April was loyal to her alliance. They screwed her over and no wonder she became bitter with them. Promises are promises. Some last and some don't. We'll see what this week does.
It just gets old reading the one sided hate. 'nuf said. It also doesn't seem that too many have seen this show from the beginning BB1, because there is nothing that hasn't been done in here before. There have been fights, sex (BB4 first time) and two-timing double-talking houseguests that did nothing but spew over those other people thinking they were all perfect.

This is the smartest thing that Dan could have done....it's absolutely brilliant. Ollie will get the blame for putting someone up for noms and the POV if that person goes out and Dan will protect Keesha which then everyone will think they have a deal together which will make her the target. Leaving Dan's alliance with Memphis still a secret. If Dan can pull this off, I'll be in his corner...until then, I want Michelle/Ollie to team up and get Keesha/Memphis out of the house....and Dan out later.

I think (and hope) that Dan made the deal with the knowledge that Ollie wouldn't keep his word and can therefore go back on his word.
I just can't imagine why Dan would make a deal like this without having a back up plan.
Ok, promising Ollie safety- fine, but Michelle? and then letting Ollie pick the renom? Hmmmm...
Perhaps Dan can somehow wriggle out of this by saying Ollie misunderstood?
I'd love to see Dan flip completely and put Ollie and Michelle up anyway with Ollie as the target. If Ollie goes then Michelle will be grateful (possible jury vote) and Keesha, Renny, Jerry, Memphis would all be happy. April and Ollie would be out for a jury vote for Dan, but big deal...then they'd have to pick whoever is against Dan at final 2 (this is assuming Dan makes it to the final 2).
Imagine if it's Keesha and Dan as final 2...who would April & Ollie vote for then? lol as they can't stand either of them.

OK, here are my thoughts. Dan must put up Jerry and Renny. Then someone must use the pov and then Dan backdoord Ollie. He has to go..and poor April is waiting for him. This is a game and that is the best move for Dan. So he looses April, Ollie, and MIchelle jury votes that is it. All he has to do is talk to all the others and save himself from the double evection next week. I would like to see Ollie and Michelle out next week and if he can play and win HOH...anyone could go. I think Dan made a real smart move here. He has made a HUGE friend out of Ollie by giving him such a generous deal. Dan still has good, viable options like: Renny/Jerry to put up, and he can explain it pretty easily.
Using his deal with Ollie as cover he will be able to explain that he is sorry for having to put up Renny, but that they have the votes to keep her in the game. At the same time, he can keep Memphis safe and he has gotten much closer to securing the jury votes of Ollie/April/Michelle if he were to make it to the end.
Memphis and Dan were talking just the other day about the final 5 being the two of them plus Ollie, Keesha and Michelle. This all plays perfectly for that to still be possible.

Goodbye Keesha unless you win POV; you thought it would be smooth sailing when everyone did your dirty work to get Libra & April gone (w/o you doing the work); jury house will be great with these 3 best friends.
In addition, Dan was going to come off the vine earlier than Ollie; his talking really helped him.
Dan is thinking like a chess player AND still acting like he is a weak player and doesn't "get it". (He asked Keesha how many people play in the VETO this week; you know he already has that figured out.)
By allowing Ollie to be safe and pick one other, Dan makes him think he is controlling the game, when in fact - it really doesn't matter who Ollie chooses. In the end - Dan has a close relationship with Memphis and Keesha, PLUS - he has the tie-breaking vote this week.
Dan knew Ollie would choose Michelle, or less likely, Jerry. Either way, he can put one of them up against Renny and then "save" Renny with his tie-breaking vote in the end. We all KNOW that Memphis and Keesha would vote to keep Renny. (Memphis wants Jerry out so bad!)
I think that Dan has set himself up this week to make the most people happy at the end of his HOH rein; and still keep his alliance with Memphis strong.
if you think about it, the deal dan and ollie made is actually kind of a smart move from dan.
He has good reason to put up one and only one person, that's jerry. He'll probably do that and then cast the blame on ollie for the other nominee (likely to be keesha). If ollie is telling the truth and he wanted either michelle or memphis to be safe, I would say that's what gave dan the green light. He knows that, as long as it's not memphis the one going up and jerry doesn't win the pov, wosrt case scenario the votes go split and he gets to pick who goes home!
Hi there, I just wanted to say that I think that Dan should just break his deal with Ollie. I would rather have the jury house members who vote against me be: Ollie, April, and Michelle.
But if I broke my alliance with the others they'd be mad. So, I'd make them happy if I broke my word. That way I'd have on my side:
Renny, Keesha, Memphis, Libra.
Did I forget either on either side?
The tie, I guess, would be Jerry.
But you never know who you will be next to....
But, I think I'd stay on my original side. That way my chances are better. Don't want to anger your originals.
