It's gotten to the point where I will turn the feeds to Memphis and Dan playing CHESS over having to listen to a word Michelle says. I can deal with Ollie and even Jerry(mixed in with everyone) but once Michelle gets in the mix I can't deal. Her voice, mannerisms, lies, baby talk... all of it. Just drives me straight up the wall.
Maybe Jerry didn't get t h e call, but maybe they let him have a call because of his emotional state earlier.

Grendon - I thought the same re: Michelle on all counts. She told Memphis in the beginning of BB that she is not a real estate salesperson, but a secretary. She has also said that she lives back home with her parents. I'm sorry but I can't see her being in real estate sales!
And it's funny how last week Ollie and April AND Jerry "knew" Michelle was playing both sides and saying what a liar she was. Every season the HG's talk about the cost of food and their concern about the BB budget. It makes me laugh every time. Like if they ate lobster every day for every meal it would have a dent in the BB production budget. Not to mention reality TV is the cheapest to produce. No big stars getting 200k an episode. Yet Keesha is worried she spent too much on the turkey wraps she ordered while on "vacation." Comical. I wonder where that thinking comes from?

I haven't been on for a while. As an outsider without favorites I have to say that Dan will be shooting himself in the foot if he goes against Ollie and the promise.
Obviously Memphis will take himself off, and depending on what Dan does this will set it up if he will have a chance to win the big price or not. If he goes against THAT promise... and puts up Michelle or Ollie, Dan will never win the $500K. He'll automatically have Ollie, April, Michelle and Jerry voting for the other person. So is Dan playing for himself or for his alliance? At least if Renny goes up, Jerry can still get voted out by Dan's tie breaker. He will ONLY lose one vote that way. That is what is best for him.
I'd want Dan to win over Memphis (Bob), because the latter is just too cocky.

Jane - back in the day, I worked in a studio when I lived in L.A. (no big thing - if you live in LA and change jobs every 5 years or so to increase your income, you eventually end up in a studio).
The budgets the individual departments had were over the moon. The television contracts I used to work with were nuts in terms of the amounts of monies that are alloted.
I guess if you've not been exposed to anything like that, you might feel guilty for overspending on a turkey wrap.
Being a teacher and football coach are jobs that give Dan a tremendous advantage.

First of all, Ollie might have outlasted Dan on the Vines, which shows he CAN compete in challenges. Secondly, you're assuming that if Manchelle or Ollie do not leave this week, they will at some point.

The fact that the SC hate Memphis even more and they vote purely personal, they don't really think about game play cuz none of them are players themselves, it might be an advantage. Should be interesting.
Ollie talks big but he hides behind Michelle just lioke he did April. He was trying to get Michelle to go Dan. He always wants someone else to do his dirty work. I would love to see him be the one to go but Michelle is the bigger threat. So hope he is the 2nd part of the double eviction. Can't wait to see April's face when Ollie follows Michelle into the jury house and Jerry is still with the others. HAH!

Unlike you I am not emotionally invested in these people (my faves left long ago) and I know you are by calling Michelle Manchelle. Pretty obvious.
I have watched this show since the first episode and have watched how it all have folded in previous seasons. The HGs are usually too bitter towards the person who betrayed them... and in this case it would be Dan. Hence, between Keesha and Dan... Keesha would win hands down. It's also pretty clear that both Ollie and Michelle won't make F3, they have the numbers against them in upcoming votes. (Jerry won't make it past F4.) That leaves one of them and two others for the last three part comp and in order to get to F2, that person would have to win two out of those three. Not likely. But also not impossible.
Time will tell and we'll see.

A little bit about Justin and read the quote, I see something similar coming out of one of their mouths. If anyone ever wondered why they don't have real knifes in the house any more, this is it.
Back when Justin was on the show – and kicked off – it was pretty obvious that this guy was no Einstein. When he was booted for holding a knife to fellow contestant (and fellow Hall of Shame inductee) Krista Stegall, pretending to swing a sweeper at her, making threats to others, etc., he said, “I didn’t threaten nuthin against anybody.” Mind you, he had admitted trying to use intimidation tactics even after he said, on-camera, that he knew such things were not allowed. But he still couldn’t understand why he had been booted.
You know, you'd think at Jerry's age he would be able to see the affect people like Ollie and Michelle on the people around them. But he (Jerry) continues to hang out with them and take up their habits.

Final 5... everyone keeps Dan (out of Renny/Keesha/Memphis. renny/Keesha keep Dan over Memphis, Memphis keep Dan over Renny or Keesha because he has no choice). Same for final 4. If it's R/K/M/D Dan is golden for final 3 through ALL of them!
If Memphis is evicted at final 4, so be it. Dan wins HOH and takes Keesha to end and wins the game too!
The only thing I can report is at 1:38 AM BBT Dan turned out his lights and all are asleep. With dreams of safety dancing in their heads.

As for Ollie's threats. I think he's nothing but a wimp with a big mouth but I would love to see him get violent and escorted out of the house. I wonder what that would do to the FF on Thursday.
I do remember the season of X-Factor, that a guy was taken out of the house for holding a knife to his ex-gf's throat. I think after that is when they started getting plastic utensils for butcher knives and the like. That is the only one I remember although there has been a few almost expulsions. I recall hoping Eric the fireman was almost taken out. And wishing he had been. I wonder how it would have changed that season since his sheep would have been lost without their shepard earlier.
On the subject of hearts and musical notes and the like. Google 'ascii characters' and you can find a lot of lists. I remember very few of them but I used to have a list printed out, and all involved using the ALT key + a number or letter. Ä and © and Ç are about the only 3 I remember the Ä is good for making an angel, which I used a lot because I am such a sweet one .. ^Ä^ <--- That's me! :p~ ... So everyone make a list so we can drive Carolyn crazier. >:)

Regarding Renny and her location and status.
She's not even in New Orleans. She's in Metairie, LA. Sure it's a suburb but she isn't even in Orleans Parish. She's to the west in Jefferson Parish.
I know the location by looking at the hybrid map and a full zoom in. Yes, this has to be out of her home. Not that there is anything wrong with that, but a socialite. NO! A social butterfly, definitely.
Probably from the tone of this comment you can tell I am still off the Renny bandwagon. I'm not over her attitude from last week, or the one she has now. I swear, if given a chance she would cast her vote for the eviction of Jerry. Guess we will find out Thursday. I'm glad it will either be 3/1 or 2/2. I'd love a 2/2 so Dan can break the tie. We haven't had one of those this season.

marci -- I think Dan is also looking at the end game. He never focuses on one plan of action until he has weighed those with future odds of winning.
When it's clear to him which of those are the best for him, he then goes after that one plan while gettering everyone else to focus on why it's best for them.
I truly do think Dan is one of the best BB players in the history of the game. Only time will tell if it takes him to the end. If the was playing against only other great players, I would think so. But, he's dealing with some irrational and misguided (personal) players and that is very unpredictable.
Last part of my rant -- I keep reading posts about this one or that one doesn't deserve to win because they are so cocky. Funny how Dr. Will and Evel Dick are probably the two most revered players in the history of the game (not my favs, but they were good). Were those two not also the most cocky in the history of the game.

Only snag that could hurt him is the shortened season. He sometimes needs to "coach" these guys through the next step. With double eviction, we could have a Renny making a decision based on the thought that pops into her head at that second.
I think Dan's already trying to lay that out to everyone "just in case", but that could hurt.
But, I think our boy Danny is definitely focues on the end game already.

Remember that Dan has to win two out of three comps in the last HoH. I don't think Keesha or Renny would take him to F2. And even if they did... he wouldn't get the final vote because of emotional playing. If he's next to Memphis... yes.

Feeling for somebody doesn't mean you like them. Have compassion for a situation or empathy for a person is just being caring and kind. You don't have to like somebody to feel for them.
This game is grueling and unless you have been in it... you can't really understand. There is a reason as a BB addict from Day 1 that I would never put myself in this situation. It's emotionally taxing.
I would love to have Jerry as a grandpa anyday. He is full of vitality. Mine happens to be very cold and sixth feet under.
