haha... well she doesn't eat. there's not much to think about on that topic. she never eats with the HGs. she's on a pure coffee diet... sooo great for your kidneys and blood pressure!
Keesha never eats until everyone else is finished. I think that it is because she does not want to help with the dishes. She is always eating snacks, so it can't be because she is trying to lose weight.
I wonder if Michelle has a drinking problem. All you ever hear her wanting is beer and wine.
Personally i'd be asking for ear plugs and sedatives!

Seriously, I would say it's a safe bet that getting knocked up would be an automatic eviction. They would never let a pregnant woman do those stunts and eat slop, even if she were willing. With miscarriage, birth defects risks, etc. ... can you say laaaw-suuuit.

Yup, you are correct! I do remember Dani hardly eating (just snacking) and never cleaning up. I think the reason Keesha is snacking is because she is really hungry but won't admit it. If she would just eat a little real food instead of the junk food she eats, and get her ass in the kitchen to help clean up, maybe she would drop that extra weight (that only she sees).
And I am starting to think Michelle is an alcoholic! Not a night goes by she doesn't ask for or mention beer and wine at least half a dozen times or more.

Memphis said she was almost asleep last night & she heard that wine & beer had been given to them & she flew out of bed. She is always talking about it & running to check the storage room. Memphis has too but I have noticed it the most w/ Michelle. The first thing she said the night of the feast/fight was, oh wine, wine, wine! But maybe the stress in the house just makes her want it that much more!

One of the things I love (and yet sometimes hate) is that we all watch the same show, feeds, BBAD (or follow updates) and yet all draw such different conclusions. An anon poster commented on how arrogant "they" are referring to Memphis, Keesha and even Dan. I totally disagree. They may be boastful at the moment since Memphis won POV and they feel a little better (again at the moment) that they can control the vote this week. They certainly weren't feeling arrogant before the POV and all felt unsafe until this point this week (and some last week). In my opinion Ollie and Michelle (and Jerry) have been the complete and total arrogant ones this week. Ollie demanding Dan do a whole list of things for winning that was totally unreasonable and unrealistic. Thinking he had the right to tell Dan how to break the tie if there was one. Acting like an irate, pompous jerk because he thinks he holds the upper hand all while totally lying to Dan (saying he hasn't told anyone about the deal when he told Michelle and Jerry both) about deal and about Keesha and telling jerry to make stuff up if he has to when he talk to Dan about Dan's side (that's just off the top of my head). He's even threatening to go off on Dan and hit him if Dan doesn't do what Ollie wants. I haven't liked him for weeks. I was on the fence with Michelle until last week when I decided I couldn't stand her either. Ollie and April and now Ollie and Michelle also talk about other house guests having sex or bj when Ollie's the only one doing those things. Seriously. It's so funny that everyone can see such different views on the same people same show. I guess that's why I like to watch. Go Dan, Memphis, Keesha, Renny. I just hope one of them can win the HOH and before I get arrogant and ahead of myself - I hope Dan replaces Memphis with Michelle (or Ollie) and they go home (no Jerry, this week anyway).

What's the deal with the notion of "not deserving" to go on the block this season? What does doing or not doing anything "wrong" have to do with the price of tea in China (or getting put on the block in BB)?
It's so interesting to me how the rules of morality and ethics change every season. It would be a fascinating sociological study to track the seasons and compare what's happening in the world with their attitudes toward "right and wrong."

Wow, I just got back in after leaving during the POV hours ago. Yippee!!! I'm so glad that Memphis won the POV. It works out perfectly for Dan, (even though it was a tremendously risky move).
Now I have a ton of catching up to do here before BBAD starts in an hour and a half.
I don't think Jerry realizes that Keesha is the only genuinely nice person to him! It's so sad to hear him talk about her. And I always wanted to add that the other day he was praising Dan, I think with Renny, saying what a good person he is. Oh yeah, Jerry? What about Judas? I think Ollie, then Jerry needs to go. After Michelle, of course, although I'd rather see Michelle stay longer than them. I think Michelle is an alright person ,but the game is making her ugly. She does have a nice side.

Jane, I agree with you on the Contract issue, (fellow attorney here).
For anyone who is concerned about Dan and 'The Deal', the question I pose to you is this:
If you intentionally shoot someone in cold blood and they die, obviously you are a murderer. If you shoot AT someone, with the intention of killing them, but you miss-what are you? The intent is the same. Just because you have bad aim, are you any less guilty?
Memphis has never really held power before today, therefore has not had to lie. Renny stuck to what she wanted to do when she was HOH. Keesha was able to flip the house during April's HOH, but was able to follow through with her promises during her own. Dan broke his word 'supposedly' with Jesse's eviction. He will most likely break his word to some degree this week. With a good lawyer, I think he could get off on a technicality in both instances.
Jerry went back on his word week one. Michelle is a card carrying, banner waving 'liah'. April and Ollie...what can I say...
They attempted to break their promise to Michelle and flip the house when Keesha was on the block. They threatened to throw everyone, including their own alliance, under the bus when April was on the block. They said they would do anything to make sure Dan and Keesha did not get jury votes, even if they had to lie about them. They plotted to offer gold bars for votes and/or safety and then not follow through with payment. They spoke of many scenarios where they could and would make and then break deals.
And just today, Ollie encouraged Jerry to lie about Keesha if he had to. And Michelle is already making plans to promise safety to Dan next week and not follow through.
Have they been successful? No. Was the intent there? Yes. So are they at least, if not MORE guilty than Dan when it comes to crimes against fellow houseguests?
Before you render a verdict, consider this arguement. If the intent to do harm was present and premeditated, but the result was unsuccessful, does that make them innocent? I think not. It only means they have bad aim. (i.e. Their gameplay sucks!)

Piper - mild form yes. I have a lot of pets and a kid living at home so i'm getting better then i use to be. I remember yrs ago i would be up til 3 or 4 in the morning washing walls cause of a smudge or finger print. My worse habits now with it seem to be the bathroom and common areas....just can't handle clutter of any kind (nic nacs are a no no here )and i'm forever dusting/sweeping mopping and tidying up. I have calmed down a lot over the yrs but its more to do with my back issues then being able to "deal" with my obsessions.

Hahahaha! My biggest pet peeve of this season (ie: I've fast forwarded through it so I don't throw my computer through the window...) is Keesha's constant smacking. No, not snacking... sMacking. I have taken note of her open-mouthed, frito crunching, bowl sitting on her chin while reclined antics and they leave me cringing as though someone were scratching nails down a chalkboard. This girl never eats dinner because she's always shoving a chip in her mouth.... God bless her. Otherwise... I think she's kinda fun. This season is the first time I have really gotten into BB. I actually found this site through My Space...and sooo happy I did...I have been sitting here in front of my computer for the past 9 hours...This uncommon for me except when I am playing poker online. I have had a drinking problem all day,,, and a smoking one too...I have drank about 5 coca-colas and went through a whole pack of cigs...(and I don't usually smoke a pack in 3 days. My daughter and I just ordered pizza and getting ready for BBAD. I am really going to have BB withdrawal when this season is over...Is there somewhere to go back and watch any of the other seasons????
I am surprised they aren't out on DVD... My daughter and I have been switching back and forth on the computer reading everything... while I am not reading I am calling one of my other daughters and telling her what is going on at the BB House...ZANYONE...I have lots and lots and lots of cookbooks... I had a womens consignment shop for 8 years (I closed last year after I lost my husband to liver cancer), I was always buying cookbooks to resale. I brought all of them home with me...So if there are any recipes you may want and can't find, please let me know.
I have a few from the early 1900s and 40's and 50's.. The rest are in the last 30 years up to the present time...Or anyone else who would like a recipe...feel free..

grendon - the problem with your scenario is you don't really present a legal issue. Law is not logical, it's ordered. If a person shoots and kills they are a murderer, if they shoot and miss they may be guilty of nothing at all. Intent only comes into play if there is an underlying crime and we are valuing the depth of the crime, not identifying the crime itself.
You are presenting a logic scenario. If A equals B and B equals C then A equals C. That's not law, it philosophy.
IF your first proposition were true, that intent equals guilt, than O/M/J are more guilty. If commission of a crime is identified by specific acts, as in law, only meeting the definition of those acts equals guilt.
However, if we find that O/M/J did in fact commit a particular crime given then acts, then intent will have an impact on how we establish the so called severity, and thus the punishment.
While morality and ethics greatly influences law, it underlies it. The application is supposed to be blind.
So, in the BB court, do we have a system of laws or do we use logic with moral and ethical argument?

I have to say. I really find everyone's observations fascinating!
Jane - I thought the same, about the consensus in opinion of the HGs. Last season, there was those of us who liked James, and those who liked Natalie. There were heated debates in fact. I bet it was the same with Evil Dick and Danielle. This season, there are some variations in opinion but I think there is a consensus about most of the HGs.
We have Dan. A very shrewd and perceptive young man. He is also charming and considerate and funny. He is truly engaging. He is to me truly America's player, because he is well-loved. I respect Dan.
We have Ollie. Whenever I look at him I hear a line from the Wizard of Oz. "If I only had a heart, a brain, the nerve!" He has nerve. That I'll give him. He has the nerve to think (and I use the term loosely) that Dan will blindly do whatever he wants. He thinks (loosely) that he is OWED something. The only thing he has earned in this game is an eviction.
I think these two epitomize the extremes in human behaviour that we find in BB. This is why we love it! :)
Boy am I glad I voted for Jerry now. I would feel real guilty right now. I just figured with his ill wife and his position in this game, voting for him would cause the least damage to a HG. IMO he has harmed himself enough in this game.

Ollie is crazy if he thinks that Dan will really follow-thru, just because Ollie said so. Ollie already broke the deal, in fact we saw him do it that same evening, right after the HOH comp. Dan caught him many times, talking about it with Michelle and Jerry. Jerry needs to get his head together, and figure out that telling Dan about Ollie talking to him and breaking his word, would probably do him some good, and he could possibly go another week into the game. Not that I want him to win, just because it would be a good gameplay.
Jerry does deserve the phone call - I hope he gets it. Michelle will pissed at anyone that gets it besides her.

Frankly I was too confused to answer. (Which is obviously why I can only pretend to be a lawyer)

Why is it every year the HG's that are most hated believe they are the most loved by us? And the ones that ARE the most loved by us never say anything about it?
All that threatening talk Ollie spewed yesterday resulted in him sending Michelle up to talk to Dan instead of him doing it himself. What a wimp!
I hope they take Jerry aside and promise him safety if he admits to Ollie telling him the part of the deal he agreed to keep quiet Then Ollie is busted, Michelle goes to Jury, and Ollie is alone......
My biggest fear for today is Ollie confronting Dan and what Dan will say.
Jerry got the phone call (it looks like) and has Carolyn to thank for that.
I am sitting here watching BBAD and actually LOL when Michelle and Ollie were playing pool and she said twice "I am sure America is loving us right now"~!!!
