Ok.. so here I sit waiting on the feeds to come back. How silly for Ollie to think that Dan will believe lies about Keesha this late in the game! Shows he's a lump on the log, or on April.
You can't let the alliances get so tight to start with. That's the semi-nice thing about Ollie/Michelle/Jerry. They've not been super close forever but they're clinging now.
Dan, Keesha, Memphis have spent weeks building relationships with each other. Same with Renny/Keesha. Too late to try to get Renny to flip to your side now Ollie, or to make Dan doubt Keesha.
As for the theory that Dan loses against anyone F2, I don't know. I think his best bet, the most "toss up" duo is Dan/Memphis. At the end, the game play will be a factor but so will personality and likeability.

ollie imparting his knowledge on Dan in HOH today was hysterical. the fly trying to tell the spider wut to do. that litte guy cracks me up i hope they show some funny clips of him sharing his thoughts in the jury house soon.
I want to see Dan win and tell ollie he's busted for violating their agreement and then put Michelle or him up. then perfect would be if the other goes in the 2nd eviction. All my fingers and toes are crossed that at least Dan, Memphis, or Keesha win it.Not sure I can trust Renny to use it.

Oh, and I did post in the previous one that I think Dan knows what he is doing, hoping and knowing that Ollie broke the deal, so when he breaks it, it won't be so bad. Dan is a smart player!
In the previous post, I also did my last dishing on April and how I could hardly bear listening to her in House Calls! Unappreciative thing couldn't even be classy and wear one of her outfits CBS gave to her! Then again...she doesn't know good taste...
Maybe Ollie should have worn his shades this morning in the HOH...it would have just been the icing on the cake, made him look even 'shadier' than he was coming across. I was just so afraid that Dan was buying it...but think from all that ya'll are saying Dan is playing good game.

I was out all morning since 7am(CST) & just got home. I read all the updates & now am going to get caught up on comments.
I just knew the POV results would be here by now. Waiting, waiting, waiting. I just have to know how it's going to turn out. Dan is a good one for sure I really want it to go his way.
I watched BBAD for about 30 min last night & had to turn it off. M/O are so full of hate. They make up stuff & are just vile. I was even yelling at the T.V. Oh well, crazy is as crazy does! LOL Like Keesha said I felt like I was stuck between crazy & crazier! Mean, hateful people. Aprilitis is still hanging around. Ollie even said I am going to get them for what they did to April last week. Everything April got, April deserved.

Hope Dan's plan works. Can't take Michell another week. She is one hateful person. The things that come out of her mouth sometimes. No wonder her April and Ollie get along so well. I say, it's a game and Dan can do whatever he wants; although he was pretty stupid for making all those deals with Ollie!!
grendon (and anyone else who still cares about this on going saga) - I've told this story before but I'll give the reader's digest version.
I come to the whole psychology of the house guests with a little insider knowledge. I have a friend who was a psychologist for reality TV. Not BB, a couple other shows. The way it was explained is production wants the psychologists to OK people with as many "pyschological quirks" as possible, but who won't be violent to themselves or others, and won't sue. There is huge debate in casting because the psychologists are typically much more conservative than production. Diagnosed (or undiagnosed) mental disorders are not a bar to casting, so long as violence & suing don't seem a risk.
In casting, typically there is a standard written mental health survey done then a in-person eval. During production there is a psychologist on set at all times and regular check in's. Players are repeatedly asked about suicidal feelings, during the show, and are escorted by a psychologist when "kicked off."
I vaguely remember that there were suicides after other shows. Never BB or Survivor (the big 2). Actually I don't know about other countries.
Though I "make up" my diagnosis, I do have a degree to be a therapist so it's sort of educated guessing. I wouldn't take anything I say to the bank, but there is at least some element of knowledge behind it.
I worried about Amber as well. At the time I thought she was the most unstable house guest to date. In comparison, I think April is much more fragile. I am totally speculating about the whole editing thing in her favor - but if I was the producer, that's what I would do after watching her behavior once in the house.
If the HG's were really smart, they would take Ollie to the end with them...b/c whoever does would win against him...he (ollie) hasn't done crap in the game...he doesn't deserve to win...I'd keep him around!!

Jane, have spent a lot of time around/in psychology and agree with all you say, though you say with tongue in cheek. It is so true! April is very off deep end and think even her family saw to some extend that....do think she was using Ollie, because she is type that cannot have feelings for other people. Just my opinion....the longer she was in there, the better Jessie looked (I know, crazy!)
I don't remember any reality suicides, but do remember a talk show murder....all these shows, talk shows included seem to pick the 'on the edge' people, and I guess that is why we all watch.
But, I do feel for a lot of them, and there have been some that I get that stomach clench that worries you....know what I mean? I don't get that with April, she just seems extremely mean and uncaring.

Well, by way of my former professional career, I'm something of an amateur detective and I uncovered that info weeks ago. I discovered the name and location of her business, quite easily within minutes. I also found info on Jerry, but Carolyn rejected that comment - in her better judgment, mind you!

Thinking about the what if's. If Michelle doesn't win POV, we are all (or most) going to be laughing all weekend. Because we will know that no matter who comes down, Michelle will go up. But if Michelle wins, we are all going to pulling our hair out waiting to see what happens on Monday.

I honestly don't think most of these people would win against Ollie because the decisions this year have been based too much on personal feelings and not enough on gameplay.
Libra has an equal love/hate relationship with both sides, but with April in her ear may not base her vote on who played best.
April would never vote for Keesha, she would only vote for mem if he was against Keesha and only for Dan if against one of the other two.
Ollie would vote for whoever April told him to.
Jerry may be a surprise. If he has some time alone without people in his ear, he may base it on the game. It's a wild card vote.
Memphis might base it on the game, especially since he doesn't have to worry about voting for April. But he probably would not vote for Ollie and only vote for Michelle if she was up against Ollie.
Keesha would be the same as Memphis only reverse the mich/Ollie. I think she would pick him over her.
The only way Renny will not vote for Keesha is if she is not in the F2. I am almost sure Keesha would get Rennys vote over Dan.
Dan will probably base his vote on who played best because he respects the game.
Michelle's vote will be completely personal and based almost for sure on who she is the least pi**ed off at in that moment. And it could be influenced by something as simple as what side of the bed she woke up on or what color shirt the nominees are wearing.

The suicides I know of were a girl from Pirate Master and a young man from Paradise Hotel 2.
In the case of the girl, I don't know a lot. I think she was having problems with her boyfriend and was having financial problems. I don't know about any underlying emotional issues.
In the case of the young man, I believe his family said he suffered from bouts of depression and may have been diagnosed as being bi-polar.
I really am starting to dislike Ollie, like a lot. If he thinks Dan is going to put up one of his own guys for Ollie he's really dreaming (Dan better not or I lose all respect for him). I hope Dan gets Ollie or Jerry out this week, now that would be good TV!
One thing that annoys me about Ollie is how he talks, he sounds like he is trying to sound different.

Yes Rhonda - I actually really picked up on it in the April interviews with Julie and Gretchen. She's very disconnected. I want to use the word dissociated. Not clinically (like with MPD), but in a layman's sense. I can't think of the clinical work. Lacking in genuine affect. Dare I say Borderline Personality Disorder?
It's a horrible thing to bet on, but I'm still betting on childhood sexual abuse (or something along those lines). Perhaps she doesn't remember it. That would explain a lot, actually.
As for Ollie and her in the real world, I think it will last, oh, 10, 15 minutes, tops. Ollie's not who he portrayed to her, and she's not who she portrays to herself.
** Pure speculation, I could be tooootally off base.
Grendon, the Pirate Master girl was actually here in the city I live in, Reno. She was the DA here. Her boyfriend committed suicide about a month before, so they don't think it had anything to do with the show at all. And really nothing to do with money last we had heard, but could be wrong.

I think you are on target Jane...Ollie is not who they portrayed at all. Gee, like to be the fly on the wall when his family finds out or acknowledges what he really is like. Think the 'true' Ollie is starting to show now in little bits and pieces, but really think you are right on target about their '15' minute relationship.
I looked at the poll for what kind of PoV comp this'll be, and thinking back to season 9, we are right on track to see the Great Otev. Man...I think Michelle would win if it was the Otev thing tho. Anything else, I see Memphis winning!! Come on anyone BUT Michelle and Jerry!

Grendon: I watched that crappy Pirate Master show last summer. The woman who committed suicide was Cheryl, a 35 year old attorney. Her boyfriend had committed suicide just the month before.

That second article states near the end that another reality suicide occurred in 2005 involving someone who had been on The Contender.
You all are talking about what Renny said in her intro, right? I think I remember hearing Memphis at one time talking about what the producers had him saying and that it was a bunch of bull...before they said something about talking about production.

ReporterX, I am okay...coming out of the haze now! Really feeling a lot better. Guess the surgery didn't go all that great and I got an infection so I was very out of it for a few days. Now I am coming out of it. Have missed everyone a lot. Good to be back!!!
Jane: Hopefully not, for Renny's sake. Really, though before doing a reality show, it would be best not to have any identifying information available online, especially addresses and phone numbers. I knew that I would be able to find Renny and Jerry because I figured that unlike the younger house guests, they would have listed land line telephone numbers.
Jerry seems to be doing well, btw. From what I could see, it looks like a newer, large house on a bit of property. Personally, I'm sick of hearing him say he's doing this to give the money to his kids. That would NOT get him a final vote with me at all!
Rhonda: I know, that was crazy how they pulled Pirate Master and it was only available online. I dragged my poor husband into watching it with me, too. I think we only watched one episode online and then I waited for it to be over and read the episode recaps at Wikipedia.

O.K. On a lighter note-We are so tired of waiting for the POV results, even my cat fell asleep.
And in case you didn't know this, the angle of a photo can have a very slimming effect. I bet you would never guess she weighs over 20 pounds.
My husband is in denial about her weight 'issues'. He steadfastly denies that she is fat. He says she just has a small head.

spnshacres - They don't give live calls to the jury members. The calls are screened and Gretchen asks the one that are AOK and wont affect the game. I'm not a real fan of HC's, but the jury member episodes are like wet paint drying.

The Great Otev is the comp that has a huge South-east Asian Totem figure who asks questions and you have to get a object that answers the question and run to the mat to kneel on it. There is one less mat than contestant. Is that right?
