Not Quite an Overnight
Good Morning, Big Brother Lovers! Happy Friday! What an endurance comp last night!
I'd like to thank you all for being here.
I'd also like to thank DishChick Carla for her incredible help behind the scenes (top secret stuff!), ReporterX for keeping the comments flowing & then staying up even later to get the post-comp stuff & the HoH reveal, and Dawn and Kim for all the gorgeous pics - last night and all season long! Due to the technical difficulties the folks over at AGP are having, assembling an overnight would be somewhat akin to mild torture this morning.
I'd just like to let everyone know, I've spoken with production, and they are more than aware of the problem. It's technical difficulties on their end, (not Real, not CBS) and their tech staff is working to correct the problem.
In the meantime, please do go and have a look at what Lessa put together.

Interesting comment from Dan. Let's do this like Judas. Does this mean he's thinking about going back on his deal with Ollie? Would not bother me any...it's honestly just a game and people are different on the outside world. I'LL FORGIVE YOU DAN!! Not that my forgiveness matters...I just want to see someone really get the house going, a la Dick.

WOW! I like the comments Dan is making about 'Judas' and 'Game On'.
I would love to see him nominate Ollie and Michelle this week. That way they could evict Ollie. If Ollie wins POV, go after Michelle. (Jerry will appreciate this, I'd hope.)
I'd rather stick with the original people I was dealing with to vote for me in the F2 then the snake votes of the others.
If he sticks with the ones he's with, he'll have greater numbers. (I believe.)

ollie was folding like a tent after Memphis dropped i dont know why dan wud offer such a stupid deal
he needs to stik to final 2 w/ memphis if he wants 5ook, but he shud want Keesha, jerry, renny, around bcuz they are ez to beat.
Ollie "the clueless" gets lucky again, at some point the worst player in BB history luck has to run out doesnt it.

I love the "Judas" comment and I really hope he puts up Ollie and Michelle or Jerry... who cares what he said to get what he wanted? Not I. Tis the game of BB!

If Dan honors his word to Ollie then the Judas comment refers to putting up Jerry with maybe Renny.
If he isn't honoring his word then he'll be pulling a Judas by putting Ollie and Michelle up anyway.

I hope Dan plays this game like Judas...Michelle and Ollie deserve that kind of thing.
They are still bashing Dan even after he said they were safe...Right before Nominations Dan should walk up to Ollie and Michelle and kiss each of them on a cheek. "The Kiss of Death"
If stays with this deal..its the worst deal in BB history he should have just dropped...but if he flips.
Then everything is on for a Dan,Memphis,Keesha and Renny for our final four...
Just to clarify: Dan might have caught Ollie talking to Jerry about the deal... which would nullify everything. let's hope Dan believes it!

**YAWN*** What a night!
I am going to hold back on comments about Dan's deal until I know more of what he is planning. I hope he is smarter than what I am thinking at this point. I am so anxious to know what he has up his sleeve.
I read the report that Leesa put up. Michelle & Ollie are just unbelievable. I was hoping Ollie might change after April left but guess that is not going to happen since he is now paired w/ Michelle.
It should be interesting!
I also read Renny's HOH blog, boy, she has changed my opinion of her a little bit. Why would she use her blog to vent her dislikes for some of the HG? I found it sad.
I thought at first that he was going to put up Jerry and Renny... but the more I thought about his comments about "game on" and "Judas", the more I think he may just go back on his word... as previously said, he should - they deserve it for the way they are acting and things they are saying after he promised them safety. I hope he figures it out and catches them - it will help him make the "right" decision. :)
And I'm soooo happy about his letter from Monica. He really needed that to refresh him. :)
maybe dan's "do this like Judas" comment means that he foresees jerry going up?
and also, maybe i'm wrong here, but don't memphis and dan have an agreement to go to final four with michelle and keesha (or is it ollie)? so dan would be fine letting ollie have some of his hoh power (and thus blame), knowing that it will be either renny or jerry leaving - not anyone to whom he actually is aligned.

The Deal
Since there were technical difficulties and we missed out on a lot of important conversations, I still feel very confused. Looking in from the outside, it doesn't make sense. Basically Ollie won HOH but Dan got the room.
If Dan is trying to regain his honor it just doesn't work. He still ends up being a traitor to half the house.
If he is trying to insure his own safety...still doesn't work. What happened with Jerry was personal and really had nothing to do with game. Renny was already on the fence with him. Ollie and Michelle can't be trusted to keep him safe. Jesse and April are gone, they blame Dan, they aren't going to forget that. Keesha and Memphis would have kept Dan safe, but if they are at risk because of him that will be over.
As far as the comp: Michelle-Everyone talked all day long about hanging from a vine (gloves) and anyone who has watched an endurance comp knows there is rain and the sun goes down (coat) You are an idiot. Dan-When someone does not want to make a deal and then changes their mind, it means they are going to fall.
Once everyone left the HOH room, Dan's whole expression changed and we got the 'game on' and 'Judas comments. That leads me to believe one of 3 scenarios.
The boy has no morals, doesn't care who he has to use and is not the Dan I thought he was. I hope I'm wrong.
He is an excellent gamer and already had a backup plan that will allow him to keep his deal with Ollie at the same time he is staying loyal to the people he promised loyalty to. I hope I'm right.
There is a twist and Dan was a 'mole' or a 'plant' all along. I know I sound like Michelle, but I was wondering if Dr. Will has a brother. Before Renny got to Dan with the scissors I noticed he had that same out of control hair as Will. I know, it's a stretch, but I am feeling as paranoid as the HGs at this point.
This is so shallow however I didn't expect Monica to look like she does. She is still very pretty I just didn't picture that when I thought about her.
At the same time I cant see Dan being to superficial. Who knows!

I'm absolutely thrilled that Dan won HOH, and I also loved his 'Judas' and 'Game On' comments! Can't wait to see his noms!
I'm so sick of Michelle, she is driving me up the wall. Her baby talk and arrogance and 'I got this game won' attitude is driving me mad! LOL And then Ollie, well... funny how now that 40+ days have gone by he's ready to play the game. UGH!

Btw, thanks for the info about the problems with the feeds & production. I called Real this morning & they said it wasn't on their end, that it was a CBS issue. LOL
OMG! I had most of it figured out last night:
This is the smartest thing that Dan could have done....it's absolutely brilliant. Ollie will get the blame for putting someone up for noms and the POV if that person goes out and Dan will protect Keesha which then everyone will think they have a deal together which will make her the target. Leaving Dan's alliance with Memphis still a secret. If Dan can pull this off, I'll be in his corner...until then, I want Michelle/Ollie to team up and get Keesha/Memphis out of the house....and Dan out later.
I still think Renny is a wild card and just might get Memphis out if she has the chance...she knows D/M won't take her to final 2.
By far my favorite endurance comp yet....I was actually laughing last night when I saw them getting swung into the padded wall! Sure it was painful and cold- blah, blah, blah- but I loved watching it! My second fav endurance comp was Dick, Dani and Zack in the garden holding their keys.
Oh and the paranoia? Geez Ollie and Michelle are going crazy!
But does he really have to flip to ensure staying in the game?
As long as he can get Keesha, Renny, and Memphis on the same page, he's OK to evict Jerry, so long as he doesn't win PoV.
I think folks might be looking too deep into "Let's do this like Judas." I think he said it because it rhymes and stuff.

I think Dan is a lot smarter than anyone in that house realizes and he's playing a great game. I'm hoping he does the right thing and puts Ollipop and manipulachelle up.
No one knows what the conversation was between him and Ollie cause of the messed up feed but lets hope he just said "your safe, no worries," and he didn't say something like "you have my word, or I swear".
...But whatever happens this week, I'm sure there will be more drama than last week...ZZZZZZ!!
I really, as I keep saying, don't understand how 'the deal' will work. Dan just may have a plan that will help him. If so, more power to him, that's what the games about.
But as far as making Ollie the bad guy and keeping his hands clean-I don't buy it for a minute. Keesha and Memphis will still blame Dan because it's a deal that did NOT have to be made. And ultimately, he has the power to go back on his word the same way Keesha knew she had the power to vote the way she wanted to when Jesse was on the block.
Memphis is not gonna forgive and forget. We saw how he acted when he thought Renny MIGHT put him at risk.
And if this plan in any way covers Dans butt and let's him come out smelling like a rose, Keesha will figure it out. She has figured out just about every other deal in the house. If he keeps her safe she will go along with it, but I don't think she will trust him after this.
like I said in the very beginning of the season..to win 500K- Remy & Dan are the most dangerous players.
Also, I guess since everyone had their morning coffee, they are now seeing that Dan's deal is BRILLANT!!
just 1 side note; all you Dan fans; I just dont understand. obviously you like him because of his word, morals, etc...but in a heartbeat..you all want him to break his word and become Judas and nominate Ollie or Michelle..

Don't be so quick to think Dan is an idiot for making the deal with Ollie.
Dan tried out for BB four times before finally getting in the house. He's a major BB fan and I'd bet he knows the game well.
He wants Keesha and Memphis safe for the F3. He'll either honor the deal somewhat and put up Jerry and Renny (with Renny as the PAWN). If he goes back on any of the deal it will be with the renom if there is one.
He's playing for the $500K by keeping his F3 alive AND working for jury votes.
Michelle can be swayed at the drop of a hat to change sides. As someone else said earlier, she's not the prettiest or the most educated and she definately lacks a lot of class. All anyone has to do is show her a little attention and she's your new BFF.
Renny won't be surprised if Dan puts her up because she keeps putting him down and doesn't trust him. As I said in a previous post I've disembarked from the Renny train.
Jerry won't be surprised either. In fact I think Jerry would actually like to leave so he can finally EAT. (I know he got pizza last night, but I'm not sure if he's completely off slop).

i was starting to get upset about the "3 part deal" Dan made w/ Ollie. UNTIL I heard him in HOH after every1 left. GAME ON... he told Memphis F2.

Thanks for the linkage, Carolyn! Before I head back to bed for a nap (yay for back to school!) here's why I think Dan's deal is not quite as bad as initially thought... There's only one way it can go wrong.
Ollie will almost certainly choose Memphis to go up against Dan's choice - likely Jerry. Now, thing is, this week is an 'hoh breaks the tie' week. By explaining to Keesha what's gonna happen (we assume, since the feeds were bjorked), if Keesha and Memphis can keep Renny calm/voting their way, no matter which of them goes up, they have two votes to keep them in, Dan breaks the tie, their alliance remains intact.
For instance - Jerry vs. Memphis
K/R vote to evict Jerry
O/M vote to evict Memphis
Dan votes to evict Jerry.
The only kink in the plan is that if Memphis DOES go up, Renny will want him gone, which is why Dan told him to "work her vote NOW..." just in case. If Ollie decides to go after Renny instead, then it's best case scenario Renny vs. Jerry, Jerry goes without question. POV could throw a wrench in it too - though Dan can save Memphis/Memphis save himself/Keesha save Memphis... there's a lot of possibilities there too. But I'm inclined to believe that DAn thought this out pretty well, all things considered. He knew he'd have to offer something big to Ollie that Ollie would believe - Ollie's a beer shy of a 6 pack when it comes to playing the game. Heck, he only started to play yesterday. He's worlds behind all of them. heh. With this scenario- Dan upholds the 'deal' and still protects his entire alliance, including Memphis and keesha both.
But that's what _I_ think'll happen... I could be completely off base though. And now? Naptime for tired Lessa's. *thud*
Hi Caroline! I don't comment very often but I wanted to drop a line and say thanks so much for all you do! I found your blog a few weeks into season 9 while I was away at college, I don't have a TV there so I watch all my shows online and it was mid-writers strike and that's when I got hooked on Big Brother! It's an interesting show, but to be completely honest I don't think I would have gotten into it very much if it weren't for your blog that shows the WHOLE truth and NOTHING BUT the truth haha. I ended up getting the feeds for the last month of the season and I think my roommates thought I was crazy cause there was always random voices coming from my bedroom (most notably Natalie "OMG EVERYTHING IS IN EIGHTS" and Sheila "BUT I'M A 45 YEAR OLD SINGLE MOM") Hehe oh how I wish I could have gotten the feeds for this season (I have a dumb thing called tuition due on Monday) as much as I thought last season was a riot, I absolutely LOVE the cast this time around. So after watching the episodes it's nice to come on here and get the real scoop of what's going on! OK so this is kind of long haha but I just wanted to come in here and say THANK YOU to you, ReporterX, whoever makes all the screen caps (which are great, especially since you can't post youtube vids anymore), and everyone else involved!

Boy, I went to sleep just 4 hours ago (after trying to keep up with the NON feeds) and I cannot believe what Ollie and Michelle were saying! They have literally attributed EVERY single thing Dan has said or done or and every movement he made in this entire game to him being a plant for BB. It was hilarious! What is so funny is, if they really believe what they say, they are even more stupid!
This is going to be an interesting week. Can't wait, can't wait, can't wait!
And in those four hours, Fay has started her little game too!

I keep pondering the ever-popular Judas comment. The paranoia side of me is afraid that he might have meant he is going to have to put up one of his own: Renny, Keesha, Memphis (although I think he's trying to keep him safe from what I can tell of his conversations with Ollie.)
But I'm hoping, hoping, hoping that it means that Jerry, Ollie, or Michelle are going up.

I, personally, didn't rally behind dan due to his word and morals...I think in the BB game, giving one's word and sticking to morals is not good game play.
This may be a Survivor term, however:
