He brought it on himself, but rather than ostracizing him, I wish they'd have a house meeting and calmly tell him he went waaay over the top and why and that he didn't have the power he thought he had in the first place. I have a feeling that the convo between Memphis n Dan about April n Keesha being the "leaders" was basically bashing April to Dan so that he wants to rid the house of April more so than Jerry. Memphis did say he was going to work Dan to make sure that April was still the target.

I don't know about Memphis. I think he's "with" Michelle but I also think he's equally "with" Dan. Actually not a bad trio. They're all pretty solo in the game so far and Dan/Memphis both have the same strategy. Stay as low as possible. Dan tries to come across as the weak player, and Memphis is not making himself a threat either.

Kitty, that last race by Phelps was actually a semifinal. He goes for the gold in that event tomorrow (tonight? later today? The time zone confuses me).
I have to admit, the reaction toward Jerry is somewhat harsh. I think it stems from an inherent disrespect for him among most of the other HGs.
In fact, I can think of one HG who always showed him respect and never talked smack about Jerry or his habits. Yup, it was Dan.

As long as I'm ground up meat it's all good. Actually, chopped liver is yummy. Hey, maybe you will think this is as funny as I do. There aren't a lot of jewish food shops in Maine (surprise surprise), but there is one place that is owned by an old jewish guy from Brooklyn (could be my grandfather). They have all the standard sandwich shop stuff but also some jewish food. They make their own chopped liver and in 2008 still advertise it with glowing pride as "full fat" chopped liver. Ah, home again.

Shan, thanks for the website info regarding Phelps. I just love this guy & want to see every single event. Phelps did win a gold medal tonight & he raced in the Butterfly 200 meter semi-final qualifed to race in the final. He came in first place in the semi. He will race tomorrow in the final of that race along with another one tomorrow. So far he has won 3 gold medals.
I am loving the Men's gymnastics. The U.S. team is fired up. When both of the Hamm brothers had to drop out everybody wrote the team off but they are doing really good!
I think Memphis is more with Michelle than Michelle is with Memphis. Michelle has a dislike for Libra that no one can change. She made up her mind a long time ago she didn't like her & I said once before that even if Libra sneezed Michelle would think it was a derogatory sneeze.

I think midget/dwarf is now acceptable within the community but I am not sure. That's neither here nor there. I has become acceptable in comedy to use stereotypes in stand-up acts, however, this to me isn't funny.

Renny & Keesh are talking about double eviction. Keesha doesnt understand it and Renny is explaining it to her....sort of. Why is it that all the people that go on BB never know anything about it? They all say things that arent true. Even the ones who claim that they have seen EVERY season! I think one of us BB Dishers need to go in the house. We would actually know everything! and probably win!!

Whoever gets HoH, and I really hope it's Dan... I think he would take the high road and leave Jerry alone, knowing putting up A/O at the same time would be the smartest move in BB history maybe... at least so far this season.
Re: Dan and AP. They need to get over it. Everyone there only has their eye on the prize and the only other one with a funny bone in her body is Renny. (I just saw her do her Little Person routine again, but it was just before BBAD started. I'm still on the Olympics so I haven't gone to BBAD yet. It's being DVR'd and I can catch up if it looks like I am missing anything good.
Re" Dan and his strange ways/sense of humor. Ya gotta love him. He tries his best to have fun in there and entertain us, which I think is why we voted him AP for ONE WEEK.
They try to tie him to EVERYTHING. It's nauseating at times.
Remember, he wasn't alone in thinking of fun things to do when Steven was still in the house. They were a great team, coming up with stuff together the way I remember it. Renny tries, but we haven't had a great BBAD except for WWIII.1 and WWWIII.2 and I can't remember, have we had WWIII.3 yet or are we still anticipating it?
Anyway, Dan is definitely my favorite, but I don't think he will get to the end, and that already makes me sad.
So my dream... coming soon. Dan was in it as was all the still in HGs. I was in the house too. I must have been channeling the DR leak because I was having my own session.

Samantha - I think there are a lot of danger zones, and from Renny's perspective she jokes with no malicious intent. Memphis said "you are making fun" and she replied "no I'm not, we have to be able to laugh at ourselves." I believe that is where she is honestly coming from.
I think intent is important - joking with a good heart is quite different from making judgments. But certainly some people will be offended.
Regarding the fact that HGs never really understand the way BB works, is it possible that BB won't approve anyone that knows what WE know to be a HG? Would it be too much of an advantage, especially since we learn more about editing and production watching the feeds and BBAD?

IMHO their obsession with Dan's every is boring. I don't find him strange at all. He has a sense of humor - OMG, it must be the devil's work.
I've been a fan of this site for a long time. Admittedly, a lurker, not poster... But what is up with the Olympic spoilers? I live on the West Coast and love keeping up with the house guests and hearing your opinions, but why do people have to ruin the Olympics for us West Coasters?
Uh oh... now I'm worried... what if this scenario plays out.
We all know Jessie told Michelle and Memphis to stick together. With that in mind consider this.
What if April and Ollie decide they want Keesha out. Memphis could see that as a smart play. I mean, come one, if the Final 2 are Memphis and Libra, who do you think would win that. (Hell Libra vs. anyone in the final 2 and she loses)
Memphis explains things to Michelle, maybe explains to her how she can get that Hawaii trip back.
Voting day comes and it plays out
Jerry/Renny/Dan all vote to evict Libra
April/Ollie/Memphis vote to evict Keesha
Michelle breaks the tie evicting Keesha.
Oh Jerry's world would fall apart. Double-crossed by HOH. And even worse, stuck with his Judas.
Hell at that point EVERYONE would be a Judas!!
Tell me I've overthought all this.
Let's not forget about Brian and his puppet show. That may have been some of the best comedy and he is gone also.BTW went to school and started getting ready for the new year. It took all evening to catch up on the days happenings. I still say Jerry is not quite all right.

So.. the dream, and I had many and remember every one of them but only one was BB related.
I was in the house too. (Maybe I am that 14th key?) I saw Jerry fighting ... verbally... with everyone and it finally got on my last gay nerve. I demanded a DR session.
When I got into the DR, I could barely hear a voice but it was asking me questions where I could win money for the correct answer. I kept saying I couldn't hear. Then the volume was turned up and I realized whoever was in DR was just listening to the radio and ignoring me. It was a radio game segment, but the player had my name.
Anyway, the production booth door cracked open but the person inside was ignoring me. I was getting pissed, because this was the first time I had demanded a DR and had never been called in before... the entire season. The PA was wearing a safari type uniform, like a park ranger/tour guide. She had long blonde hair tied in a pony tail, very long, but never saw her face. Maybe it was Allison Grodner herself.
I told you it was vivid.
So, as I was waiting for my private DR session so I could vent about Jerry, April, and not sure whoelse, but it was more like I was in there to tattle, because I guess I thought no one in production was listening to the fight out in the kitchen.
Well, before my session started, the PA allowed everyone else in the house to come in also. It was suddenly me against all of them. I lost my voice, or it was so low I couldn't even hear myself.
Then I woke up.
Jane, please please please, analyze me.
Next.... maybe I will tell my teeth story I promised from earlier. :p~

If I were more computer literate, I would make a chop of Ollie careening around Bodega Bay (where The Birds was filmed) like Tippi Hedren in that little car, with birds pecking at his head.

merry - I will admit, you do have to ignore the fact that it's liver. Just the concept of eating a liver is disgusting. That's why I don't think about it. I kind of have to do that with all meat. (Gaytor - yes there are some exceptions).

PMMFSL! Jane I <3 you. I resemble that remark. I really do, but since I know it, doesn't that really make me sane? I remember hearing only the truly crazy don't realize they are and.... well we have a few walking talking examples of that in the BB10 house. For some reason April comes to mind first.
