Final 3 HoH Part 1:
Endurance Comp!!
It's that time of season again!! Time for the final 3 HoH Endurance Competition!!
As soon as the live feeds come back on - 20 minutes or so is the average wait time for the final endurance comp, but tonight - VERY fast!!! - we'll be here doing updates right here within this post until the very end of the comp... no matter how long it goes!

At the moment, the planes are lightly undulating... up and down... it's beginning to intensify.. Both of the boys are silent in concenttration.

Dan says something to himself... "Watch the nose and pray"???
It's quite loud, and the planes continue moving while the wind is blasting...

Beginning of win from Dan...
Dan: Know what I tell the football players back at St Mary's? "If it ain't rough, it ain't right." So guess what, Memphis, it's gonna be a long night.

Whole lot of bouncing and swaying going on... We hear a real plane fly overhead... Jerry looks rather dejected over on the sidelines.

The wind machine kicks back on...

You can see Memphis' biceps flexing as he holds on tight to the ropes... Dan's head is tilted down during the wind and dirt blast...
Dan: (yells over the wind) I bet you wish you had on Jerry's windbreaker!!
Memphis: (silence)

Dan: Yeah.. Yeeaahhhh!!
Memphis is stoic, wondering perhaps how long Dan would like to carry on the ruse for Jerry...
Dan: If it ain't rough, it ain't right...

BB's cutting them a break for a moment.. no movement and no wind.. Then a quick drop, just to show em who's boss.. That would be Mike O.

Resume wind and movement.
Dan: Focus on the nose. Focus on the nose.
He keeps repeating that to himself...

Dan: Focus.. Focus on the nose.. I cannot keep my eye on the nose of this plane...
The wind is still coming very strong.. Both Dan and Memphis have their heads bent... Jerry's enveloped by it, as well.

The wind stops and the planes to a deep fast drop. Both Memphis and Dan hold on tight.

A moment of mercy from MikeO. No movement or wind for a moment... Both boys are poised for the next onslaught.
Jerry watches in silence from the sidelines.

Dan appears focused on the task at hand. No talking for the moment... We hear a couple of clicks, and the planes begin moving in earnest yet again. Deep fast dives... and slow climbs back up.

The wind & water spray machine kicks back on..
Dan: Focus... Nose of the plane, nose of the plane.. Focus, finish.. Focus on the finish.. One with the plane.. One with the plane...

Game over! Memphis takes a hard fall onto the pads.
In under an hour, it's over. Wow. Surely a new record.
Memphis comes over to Jerry and apologizes. Jerry apologizes to Memphis for falling so quickly, saying he didn't have a good hold of the rope.
Dan kneels and offers a prayer...

Dan: Did you lose balance or grip?
Jerry rambles on a bit..

Memphis has gone into the storage room, shirt off, to retrieve his packed bag and laundry... he takes it into the 50s room.
Dan's still outside looking at the game apparatus.

Memphis: I thought I was gonna go off face first into the damn pool.
Dan: I almost fell off too.
Memphis goes out of the bathroom to check on Jerry's whereabouts... Then runs back into the bathroom to share a celebratory whisper with Dan. Then back out to the kitchen...

More talk about how difficult the comp was. Memphis says maybe it's because he's top heavy.. Jerry agrees it's the weight..

Jerry: It couldn't. Had I wrapped my hand, it'da been fine. What they shoulda had was handles on there.

I still can't believe Keesha is gone. She must win America's Choice. As for the remaining guys, I am so mad at Memphis right now, but I have always hated Jerry. So Memphis and Dan must be in the final two and Dan must win. He really had played the game the best.
I so hope Jerry wins this and totally throws their game off!! I know I'm evil!
it'll be funny to see how much of that fake fight jerry believes. he's so dumb he doesnt think people know exactly y he's still in the house. i cant believe i actual hope he makes final 2. this aint gonna b long endurance.
I remember Dan and Memphis talking about having a pretend fight after Keesha is evicted so Jeery won't thing the two boys are together anymore. and Dan did that so Keesha would hear it instead of her seeing them high five one another. Dan is very good at this game!!!
oka dan is a marvelous game player, i love the guy, want him to win so badly, BUT all this crap is gonna come out in the jury Q n A!! how could it not! IF it's him and memphis in the final two memphis will probably win because everyone tried to get him out fo so long, he won when he needed to and he didnt pull all the antics, memphis knows he's sitting cozy and will be more so after the jury rips them up. Like memphis will let him make up junk while theyre sitting there together...
I'm a little worried. Dan doesn't look too stable up there. I'm hoping it's just him being Dan. I know he trust Memphis but he also knows the only time you're 100% safe is when you're in charge.
I don't think we'll see this level of game play for a long time. He's in a class by himself. I think it's time for Dr. Will to hand over the crown.

I am so sad that Keesha left, but the show must go on. Thank you for clairying what Dan said when they cut back into the house. To me, it seemed like maybe Jerry did something even more awful then normal during the long triva time. This just goes to show Dan really is a great player in the game, and knows just how the game works!

That was a good show. I agree with Jane. It was a *choppy* edit, but they had to do it that way to get enough in in the limited amount of time they had and still make it cohesive. It was a summary.
I think I will be voting for Keesha for America's Favorite(sorry, Renny), and I hope Dan wins the whole thing. If he doesn't win this HoH I'll be biting my nails down to the quick, and I don't have far to go. Will probably have to switch to my toes. If I gnaw them down, I'm flying to New Orleans and chewing on Gaytors.
I'm with Spyke, I think Dan will be the last one standing, he won't throw any more comps. He will make sure he goes to the F2!
I feel so bad for Keesha. I agree that she should get America's Favorite Player. She sure has my votes.

I just have to say that I think Dan is a phenominal player! Others may call it evil, I call it determination. How else can you win this game, at this point you are on your own!
Oh well, I didn't cry as much as I thought I would, I guess I got it all out last night when Keesha did too, LOL. She handled the interview with Julie very well, that's exactly why she wanted to know ahead of time, so she could have her little freak out, spaz, cry session, and then get over it and be okay for the live show.
I know alot of people here were gonna vote for Renny to get the money as america's favorite, I was too, but after everything that happened, I really think Keesha deserves it more, if it weren't for her, Renny, Dan, and Memphis would have all been gone long ago! So I hope people re-consider and vote for Keesha instead!
This HOH comp is gonna suck and be over in like an hour, Jerry will drop out in 10 minutes, then memphis and dan will do their little deal, although I don't see Dan dropping, memphis is gonna have to throw it to him cause I just don't see Dan risking it at this point.

I believe that Dan's comment was directed at Memphis, its a two part deal.
1) For Jerry to hear and think that these two are fighting and both of them would take him. Dan and Memphis are probably hoping Jerry will not try as hard if he feels they will both take him to the end.
2) For Keesha to hear. Once again Dan is working for his votes and Keesha will tell jury house that Dan went off on Memphis as she walked out the door.
Both of these plans benefit Dan. Good job, thats thinking ahead.

I see that the goggles on their helmets are comletely blacked out with what looks like paint. I'm thinking at some point during the challenge they will have to put the goggles on...it would be much harder to maintain your balance and stay oriented if you couldn't see...that would be interesting.

I have a feeling this endurance challenge won't be a long one. One of them is going to decide that they are safe with the other one no matter what and take a dive.

I think the meaning of "hot" was that Dan thinks she is hot. I think he did it because in a few prior conversations, Keesha bashed him for thinking Angie was cuter than her in the beginning of the game. In other words, another attempt to get Keesha on his side! With some humor!
Dan mentioned on his trip that he got motion sick in the limo...he made it sound like he always has kind of a problem with that. During the last very turbulent time he kept repeating something about "watch the nose of the plane, watch the nose of the plane..." We'll see how determined he is. I really hope he can win this.
Carolyn - lol. Watch the nose of the plane. Keeps you from getting dizzy when your eyes follow the object rather then see it move in contrast to the ground.

Last season, Sheila went inside right after losing, so Ryan and Adam were able to talk and decide how to handle the rest of the comp. Jerry is sitting right there. Dan and Memphis can't discuss their options. I hope Jerry keeps his butt glued to that bench so D and M can't talk deals at all.
Now if they would get a swarm of bugs blown in their face and not mist.
Color me confused ... Does Dan think he can get more jury votes than Memphis. IMO, he should have taken Keesha to final 2. I felt bad for her ... and when she finds out that Dan had an alliance with Mempis, she's going to be hurt and mad.
I was so hoping that Memphis would save Keesha at the last minute.

I actually think Memphis will let Dan have this one eventually. They both want to make it look good. He'll hang there until Dan says something about the Lions then he'll fall. I can't get over Jerry not even trying. He told Memphis last night that he'd give it everything he's got.
The boys made a wise decision here.
Is there anyway they could have set this up for Memphis to win? And, then it comes down to, "will he or won't he?"
It's going to interesting to see if they stick to the plan. If I were Memphis, I would think long and hard before bailing out to give it to Dan so he doesn't have to 'dump' Jerry. Something tells me Memphis has a little too much trust in Dan.
Don't forget to listen for the Detroit Lions talk from Dan. That's Memphis' cue to drop!
It's too late now, and I don't know if it would heave helped, but if I were Keesha I would have called Memphis out last night on what a total wimp he is. I would have completely emasculated him, laughing at how he thinks he can't beat a girl who weighs 90 pounds less than him, so he's bringing a 75 year old man along to the endurance comp. I would have told him that I will make damn sure that nobody in the jury house will respect him for taking the easy way out, so he will not be getting any votes now.
I wasn't crazy about Memphis from the beginning of the season, and only thought he was okay when he became part of the group of 4 with Keesha, Renny and Dan. Still, he was definitely my least favorite of that group and the one that I wanted to see go first.
Oh well, big surprise that Jeery didn't even last 10 minutes. I wonder if he really fell or if he faked it because he figured why bother, either guy will take him to the Final 2.
Uugh, I don't even care anymore, another season coming down to who do I hate the least. I guess of the 3, I would prefer Dan win even though I'm ticked at him because he duped Keesha just as much, or more than Memphis did. But, he is the best game player of this season. If Memphis wins, I will not be happy at all. I'm kind of hating on him right now, and I have zero respect for him. And if Jeery wins, I'll go ballistic. That would be the most obnoxious ending to this season, for sure.
I have to disagree. Dan DOES deserve to win. He has played not only the best game this season but the best game ever. Adam and Ryan aren't even in the same league as him. Jeery deserves to be the last one evicted. He has done nothing to deserve anything. Oldfartstud.
I hope we dont have a repeat of season eight with the person that's doing all the smack talking not being able to last. But then again, that person ended up with 500K.

In the last post, I said I think Dan in one of THE best players in BB history! He knows when to hold 'em, knows when to fold 'em....
i'm anxiously waiting for jerry to PLEASE just go inside. i want to see what these two say to each other.
I don't think Dan and Memphis are playing it up for Jerry.
I think Dan has played ALL of them and ALL of us ALL week. He has nothing to lose now. Don't think any deals will be struck, unless Dan talks Memphis down.
And I think Memphis is realizing right now he has been played. It might affect him in the comp -- we will see.
I love Keesha and am so proud that she left with the class that is so her. But I agree with Jane. She will be fine. She knows its a game and she will go far in life. And as much as I loved Renny, Keesha is truly my America's Favorite.
But, everything Dan has been doing now makes sense and he is pure genious in this game (are you tired of me saying that yet?)

I think Dan really does get motion sickness. He's a little intense looking for this short of a time and Memphis is just hanging out.
Dan will be down in 15 minutes, he's going to throw up.
One more thing - is it just me or does this final endurance comp seem a lot easier than last year's in the ice cold water? I know everyone's sick of the conspiracy theories, but I'm sure that AGP figured Jeery would at least have a decent shot at this one.
It's interesting how Jeery was off before we got the feeds back. So, we'll never know if he threw it because we all know that AGP will edit it however they choose.

why are most upset with Memphis when the decision to get Keesha out was both his and Dan's? at least Memphis felt a little guilt in voting Keesha out. but Dan just milked the situation and played into Keesha's emotions without any qualms at all.

Don't hate on Dan, he is playing a game and a good one I might add. I think you have to be a little "evil" and underhanded to get far in the game. You also have to be able to seperate emotions from the game, which may be why a lot of women have a harder time in the game.
I hope Dan and Memphis go final two; even though Memphis hasn't made as many huge game moves he has played a good game as well. There is a big difference between 1st and 2nd place winnings but I can tell you to a teacher they are both life altering amounts.

Loyalty has no place in the game right now. I think both of these guys (yes, I said both and you know when two I'm talking about) are good guys outside of the house.
But they all knew when they came in only one could win. They are playing the game, not trying to win friends.
And, I think the Fab 3 (not the F3) will all remain friends once this is over and they have time to put the game in perspective.
Right now they are doing the right thing. Playing the game for themself to win the $500K for themself, not for the "team".
I am not sure.... who said they would throw it to the other one? Was Dan going to throw it or Memphis if Jerry was out?

If they want Jeery to believe they have turned on each other they can't make a deal. Jeery will suspect. They would have to make it look really good. Not so sure at this pointthere is enough trust for one to throw it to the other. keesha worked very hard to make dan realize he was at risk. Hope he listened and took her seriously.

at this point of the game you don't make deals or throw it. Dan wouldn't be that stupid. He can't take that chance. I say he stays up there as long as he can. I think that he is stronger than Memphis and will win this part of the comp. He isn't gonna trust Memphis like Keesha did.
I think once Keesha gets into the JH and into the loving arms of her Renny Roo; I think her emotions may melt away and she will be able to start looking at game play only. Of course that should still have Dan winning if things play out right.

Poor Dan and he needed Dramamine on his outing to the beach. Also nobody has been out riding in a car for 2 months.Its a shame he couldn't have pocketed some on Sunday just in case.

Now that keesha and renny are gone I don't really care who wins but I agree that Dan has TOTALLY played memphis and I'm not so sure he sees that yet...
I'm still voting for Renny for AC. She took alot of crap from those two. She knew not to trust Dan or Memphis. She tried to tell Keesha, but Keesha wouldn't listen to her. If Keesha would have listened to Renny they might have flipped and turned on Dan and Memphis and might have still been in the game. Keesha kept backing up the people she liked and not the strong competitors. Dan and Memphis are both strong competitors. And Dan has the added mental abilities.

right on good times and itcmek - at this point in the game...no deals! loyalty is what got them this far but it won't really take them anywhere else now. at this point any hard feelings should be out the window if something goes against plan because it's every man for himself. i didn't want keesha to go and someone earlier said it well when they mentioned that memphis could have better handled his reaction to keesha's question but...well...do you want to win or not?

Jenn, I bow to our resident expert on the shortest Final Endurance in BB history but I think that was the Big Brother -Has Beens when Mike "Booger" jumped off the mountain before the comp barely got started because his buddy was evicted. That left Erica and Janelle up and they had a deal that Erica was going to jump first and fast, but Janelle's hand slipped and down she went instead.
Of course I could be making all this up. I remember what I want and when I want.

Just go to the box in the middle on the upper right corner of the page and click it to make the page smaller, then get on the edge of the page until you see an arrow, (on mine it's an arrow,) and pull the page to size you want. Then, put you feeds on the other side of the screen.

I just wanna throw this out there while I frantically make a possibly futile attempt at catching up on comments (had to step away for about 40 minutes or so) -- does anyone else suspect that Memphis and Jerry have had a 'hidden' alliance all this time? I first suspected it when they had their infamous "womanizer" blow up in the HoH -- it just seemed so over the top, kwim? And Jerry actually DID seem to be acting.
Anyway, it makes sense why Memphis doesn't seem to care that Dan was throwing under the bus to Keesha -- because he has never intended to be standing with Dan in the F2.
Anyway, I'm sure it's flawed logic on my part -- but I have wondered this more than once during the season, so thought I'd say something. LOL
