Good Morning Big Brother lovers! Happy Wednesday!
To our friends in Ike's cone along the Gulf Coast in Texas, please be safe, attentive and prepared.
Today in the house: Part 2 of the Final 3 HoH Comp - the physical non-endurance leg. This leg of the Final 3 HoH comp will pit Jerry against Memphis in the battle to see who makes it to the 3rd and final leg of the comp to compete against Dan for the right to choose who makes it to Final 2.
The main questions that loom are:
- Will Jerry throw the comp to Memphis, per Dan and Memphis' desire, and
- Will the winner of part 3, assuming Dan & Memphis go head to head, remain true to the Renegade Alliance, or
- Will we be looking at yet another betrayal in the final week of Big Brother 10?
- Further, assuming part 3 comes down to Dan & Memphis, will Memphis be trusting enough of his alliance with Dan to throw part 3 to Dan, so he doesn't have to evict Jerry at Final 3, thereby potentially losing Jerry's vote?
- Or, Will Memphis try to win part 3 so he can evict Dan and become the jury house hero for everyone there that perceives themselves wronged by Dan?
There are more questions, to be sure, but we're getting ahead of ourselves... or I am, at least. ;)

On to the overnight...
lol. um. well... not a whole lot happening in there.
Dan & Memphis are playing a game of keep away in front of Jerry at the moment. This is the ruse that was begun last night as Keesha was leaving... At the time, I thought it was for Keesha's benefit, but as it turns out, it was equally, if not more, for Jerry's. They staged a "fight" to lull Jerry into a false sense of security going into the comp. The goal: make Jerry believe that both Dan & Memphis will take him to final 2, so he doesn't even try to win a comp.
It's still game on. The boys haven't uttered a civil word to each other in Jerry's presence since the moment Keesha walked out the door. It's only when Jerry's been called to the DR that any legitimate conversations have taken place.
Here they are:
9:51pm BBT
BB: Jerry, please come to the Diary Room.
Off he goes, giving Dan & Memphis an opportunity to speak to each other. They rush to the bathroom.
Dan: What's Jerry saying?
Memphis: Jerry said "at least one of us (Jerry & Memphis) is gonna be playing against him (Dan) in the end." He said if it's a physical competition, I want it to be you. My thought is that if it's physical, he might throw it to me, but he wont tell me.
Dan: You just need to make sure you win it.
Memphis: I know that!
Dan: You can't freak out, like you did at the beginning of the last Veto Comp.
Memphis: I won that comp. Don't forget that!
- ***uh, not so much. Only because Dan killed about 5 minutes to make it so.
Memphis: I think he wants to throw it.
Dan: Just keep telling him you can beat me in the 3rd one.
Memphis: I just need to be on point tomorrow.
Dan: It can't be just questions. Hopefully, it'll be questions and running around... If it's like season 8, it'll be related to HoH's. If it's a timed thing, you probably don't have to worry. Go over the HoHs and PoVs... You have to know them all in order. Forget about the (random) facts (from BB).
They do a quick bit of Jedi Training...
Memphis: He wants me to go up against you.
Dan: He thinks he's safe either way. Just keep driving that...
Memphis: He said he thinks he has the votes too.
Dan: Yeah, because he thinks I'd be sending you out, or you'd be sending me out..
Memphis: Think about it.. 2 days from now, we could be popping Champagne.
Dan: Dude, you need to get him to throw it.
They hear the Diary Room door and quickly disperse.
This is the last truly legitimate game conversation of the evening... The only other one that really caught my ear is the following snippet.

I stayed home from school sick today, so something interesting BETTER happen or I'll consider this a wasted day. Anyway, just commenting to say hi and stuff, and to give my two cents.
Dan and Memphis are playing this up very smart. As much as everyone hates Memphis right now, I can't not love him and am still on his side. But anyway, I LOVED Keesha to death, but I think getting her out now was best for Memphis and Dan. Especially Memphis. Maybe its just me, but I understand what he did and why he did it.
I really hope Keesha can forgive him and they can go on being friends--they were really cute!

Keesha did get in the interview with Julie. She is as sweet as I thought she would be. Love you Keesha and miss you already. :(

Good morning, Carolyn. I hope you had a nice peacefull ride this morning. After seeing Keesha's interview with Julie this morning, I just want to say that she really is a sweetheart. I am so sad to see her leave the house. I guess its true, good guys finish last. I would also like to add that right now I cannot stand Dan or Memphis. Dan is probably playing the BEST game in BB history, but he really isn't the sweet, innocent person that he is being made out to be. I would love to see his plan backfire. But then, who would win, Jeery? To be honest, I don't really care who wins at thiis point. I will keep watching just to see if the Renegades plan works out and who the jury house thinks is most deserving.

Good Morning Carolyn Darlin. I really wish they would show the comp on the feeds. Have a nice bike ride. I wait until 8 or 9 at night to do my riding. It's to hot and humid to do it during the day.
I'm looking forward to seeing Genie Sea, Piper, and CakeGirl. It feels good to see the rest of the gang again. I've missed everyone.
Dan I feel is the greatest Big Brother player of all time even surpassing Dr. Will. Will threw every comp. in both his seasons...Dan threw his in the beginning and won when he needed too! His strategic mind is beyond belief. I like Dan and I like Jerry however if Memphis were smart and if he wins the HoH Dan should go home so that he wins. The Jury will vote for the best player and in the scenario that Memphis wins HoH...the jury will pick Dan as the best player over him...if he takes Jerry he wins. Go Dan!!
i have hated jerry through out this entire game, but after memphis and dan pulled there sh*t last night on Keesha...after she saved Memphis sorry butt not once but 3 times...i hope jerry shocks them all and puts the screws to memphis atleast, the jury will do it to dan i'm sure, or atleast i hope they both screwed keesha big time, never even gave her a chance...i garentee you they lost her and rennys vote atleast, omg i'm so mad
I say Dan has played the best game ever only because he played the Jurors in such a manner that Dr. Will didn't have the opportunity or knowledge too. Dr. Will, the second best BB player ever if Dan wins only got to play the Jury in his "exit interview" and questionnaire. He did so well, however Dan won over the Jury in voting and eliminations especially in the case if Keesha where he "allowed" Memphis to send her home. I hope Dan wins it because he deserves it given his game and his strategic mind that has propelled him this far.

I went to bed early for the first time in a long time. I felt there was no point of staying up to watch the feeds when the woman with the contagious laugh is no longer in the house.
Watching Jerry make hamburgers without washing his hands would only be entertaining if people became sick, lol.
I just watched Keesha's interview with Julie Chen on the morning show. She's such a sweet girl. Julie hinted about Dan and Memphis having an alliance together but she didn't catch on. Sigh.
If BB was football, then Dan is to the point most teams just kill the clock but he keeps throwing for the end zone! He has proven that he is the competition king. He has proven he can manipulate like no one else (and still protect the dignity of the targets without personally insulting them). He has not only formed a great strategy...he has written a script for the game and it's being followed by his competitors! He's even planted seeds in the jury house to let them see how well he is playing the game.
Sticking with the football comparison, if A/O/M still insist on hating Dan for the way he played the game that's like a football team complaining about how hard the opponent was hitting them. If it's legal it's part of the game!
I don't think there's any way Dan will give up the final HOH to Memphis. His best chance of winning is to show his absolute domination once he stopped the 'art of the throw'.
Go Dan! Memphis deserves the 2nd place for being Dan's fullback.

Well it was a blast last night. I was very sad when Keesha walked out but let me tell you she is more beautiful in person then on TV. Julie is so tiny and beautiful also. Well if you watch the interview I am sitting behind Julie third row up on the end and my husband Steve is sitting behind Keesah third row on the end.
We go seperated:( We were able to watch the HOH comp last night and all the stage people were stunded when Jerry fell off within 10 minutes of it starting. We also got to meet the man who keeps telling the HG's to go to the diary room and to stop that. Very good looking older man.
I was the last person to walk in. There were many people behind me who did not get to go in. I was happy..lol. Well I have to get to work so have a wonderful day my friend..

I'm feeling much better about Dan and Memphis having seen them when Jerry was in the DR. It's nice to see game play still happening this far into the season. I think sometimes it scales back but Dan has kept it at a high level all season long. Amazing.
It's Wednesday. 77 hours and 50 minutes til the wedding. Better yet, 48 hours and 45 minutes til our couples' massage. With wine, no less. She asked me if that was too early in the day to start drinking. I told her she had nothing to worry about. Hell, I'll probably start drinking tomorrow.
Gotta get the nails and stuff done today, so I'll catch everyone later. love love!!

Loved the Keesha montage as well, will miss her. From a game perspective and that particular competition though they made the right choice. They had no idea what it would be but if she was in it she would have won it. Women just have better balance it's a fact.

Good morning Carolyn and BB lovers! I apologize if this has already been discussed and Carolyn, feel free to not post this if it has. How would this have played out if it just "happened" that Dan and Memphis were not next to each other in the POV? Would Dan have risked not winning and then what? Would he have risked being the one to evict Keesha or would he have taken his chances against Keesha in the final 3 so as not to lose her vote and anyone she might have influenced?

Follow up question to watching the Re-Feeds. I thought I was pretty tech savvy but this one is puzzling me.
You said to launch Real Player and there would be a thing for the re-feeds but I'm not seeing anything. All I see are highlights under the Reality TV button. Do I click on the BB10 tab and should it be there? If you or anyone could give me a bit more info that would be great thanks.

I might be in the minority here, but I felt really bad for Memphis last night. Not as bad as I felt for Keesha, but he looked like it was killing him. He really didn't handle it the right way at all, he could have said something to make Keesha try to understand. I mean, couldn't he have said "they" wouldn't let me or "I was going to tell you" or something? By not saying anything he looked like he was just going to kick her out and not tell her and be fine with it.
I actually can't believe that Memphis is still sticking with Dan after all of that. Dan let Memphis look like a huge jerk, all the while puffing himself up to look like the hero. Memphis won't have a lot of fans on the jury, especially if he ends up evicting Jerry, so he is basically just helping Dan's game. I really do think that Dan's played the best game, he has every single angle figured out far ahead of time, but I think he takes it a little too far sometimes.

Know I keep saying this, but here's why I think Dan is the best player ever.
Yes, he is an alliance that helped him get to F3 and he has won comps when he needed to. Memphis (and yes, even Jerry) has also done that and played a good game to get to this point. And they've all made some slight attempts at winning jury votes.
But, I really think Dan is playing Memphis right now. He is having him take part in "handling" others, but Dan has ensured a lot more jury support than Memphis in the last two weeks. It looks like who took part doing what in the Renegade's plan sure is to Dan's favor and was part of his plan. And, I don't think Memphis even sees that he's being played by Dan right now.
Yes, I think Dan will take Memphis to the F2, but now think he can win against him. In fact, Dan's play on Memphis may have even swayed enough votes (especially with Keesha's presence on the jury) that Memphis couldn't win against Jerry.
Every single word that comes out of Dan's mouth is game play and he couches it in what I believe is the real kind and caring Dan. That alone will make him much better at handling the jury than either Memphis (ego gets the best of him) or Jerry (clueless in that he thinks the "get" this analogies and stories). Everyone knows Dan is sometimes full of BS, but when his delivery is with humor and kindness, his BS is even ok (whoda' thunk he could have Michelle laughing with him at the end of their trip).
I know anything can still happen and Dan is not in F2 yet, but things are looking much brighter than they were even 24 hours ago.
And regardless of the outcome, I still feel Monica is one lucky girl!
Ok, will quit rambling now. I know I probably sound like Jerry when he starts telling one of his life stories!

all this talk about dan played the best game ever i think has to do with him making good TV. he hasnt won yet. personally i think Adam bb9 is severely under rated. the guy wuz never trully on the block and had a cake walk with the jury votes. and he had she bot and natalia to deal with. dan also had memhis and keesha 2 more really good players helping him.

I too am still so sad about Keesha leaving. I do have to agree with most everyone this morning who has said that Dan is a master player... he really is GOOD at this game...I also think that Dan is a good guy at heart and that he will be friends with "The Rennygades" after the "game". I too feel that Memphis was genuine in his goodbye to Keesha and think that it was soooo hard for him to do that to Keesha...I hope that he and Keesha remain friends!

Last night Jerry (oops, sorry – Jeery) asked Memphis what he was going to do on his 1st night home. Go out to eat? Sit with Ashley and play with the dog? Duh! Jeery what would most people do after being separated that long?? I guess it’s been too long ago for Jeery.
What town is Jeery from in Texas? I forgot.
Last, but not least, I’m really sorry that Keesha is gone. It’s not going to be the same without her. I am glad that she will be seeing JJ and Gismo, in the very near future.

I think if any of the guys throw anything at this point they would be pretty stupid. Once the fact that they are so close to the $$, they will (should) truly compete it. Besides, that would be better for us!

I was so disappointed in how short the comp last night was. The Hgs this season are not motivated enough like in past season where someone would fight tooth or nail. Can't believe i'm typing this...but i miss Michelles determination.
I always find that when the show is down to 3/4 ppl that it becomes boring. Jerry really annoys me, Dan is too cocky and Memphis is too damn quiet. Oh the days of ED and his craziness!
Will be on and off for the day. Gonna make green tomato chow and get some much needed cleaning done around here.

Carolyn darling, I'm still in Ike's projected path; now I know how you felt last week! It's terrible to NOT know where the dang thing is headed, it's like "hurry up and wait" situation. As many have said Keesha was a class act while leaving last night. I was very proud of her!
I was almost in tears last night, from laughter, watching Memphis forced to listen to Jeery drone on and on about nothing!! Memphis looked like he wanted a hole to open up and swallow him just to get away from that old man!! I was ROFLMAO!!
Every time Jerry would start schooling him about "the facts" or start a long story about his life, I would giggle!
Memphis deserves having to put up with that nasty old man!! Now that's sweet revenge for Keesha!
I guess winning money isn't free after all!!! You must earn it one way or the other!! LOL

Michigan Man - When you click on Watch 24 hour feeds from either Superpass or Big Brother tab, the small screen with current feed will come up. On the top of the feed screen you get, upper right corner, it will say 'Watch 24/7 feed replay'. Just click on that and you get the feed reruns.
I wish you could start where ever you want, but you can't. You get what you get. You can record though.

I can't stand how Mem & Dan laughed & mocked Keesha when she was so hurt, I believe she deserved more respect than that, good gameplay to evict her maybe, good gameplay to make fun of her? Not Cool!
I also think BB didn't want Mem to tell Keesha b/c they were afraid she might talk her way into staying. Jerry staying certainly is bad for the live feeders & BBAD.
My thoughts on the duck with HOT on the bottom? Keesha was always teasing Dan about thinking everyone was prettier than her i think that was his way of telling her she was hot.
Does anyone else wonder if Dan telling Manshell it was everyone else that wanted her out will come back to bite him in the butt?

johnny 5 -- I'm not a tv only and still think Dan is best ever. It's not just for tv, but he's playing that crowd as well as on the feeds and everyone inside the house.
By the way, I was a HUGE Adam fan. Was actually feeling like I was the only one last year. Also thought he "played" a great game, even if it looked like floating to others. That is a strategy (you have to know when to float where to stay in) and I think he played the entire time he was there.

Sorry but I cant bear to watch After Dark or the feeds at the moment...Memphis has done nothing but hide behind people the whole game...Not one HoH make sure the blood is on someone elses hands.
And he has the nerve to vote Keesha out...when she Saved his butt countless times.
Lets put it this way..if it werent for Keesha rallying the votes. Memphis would have been in the gorilla suit!
And right now Dan isn't much better as far as Im concerned!

Even though I don't have the feeds, this is the point in the game when I really do wish they'd give live feeders peeks into the jury house. It's usually slow and quiet in the bb house and you KNOW all the action is over at the jh -- it would be so wonderful to be able to see (or read, in my case LOL) a little of that, ya know?

I'm glad Memphis has to put up with Jeery, hehe,I'm also glad Dan finally made Mem get his hands dirty. The only time Mem ever won was to save his own booty. Never had to take one for the team. My husband has said since the begining not to trust Mem. Two best players have been Dan & Keesha. Hope Dan wins the half million & Keesha the AP.

Wait till Keesha tells Renny what happened. Renny always knew that Memphis and Dan were together. I'd love to be a fly on the wall in that jury house. I'm telling you when the season gets boring like this, they should show the jury house more often. Or even for an hour or so at night, instead of BBAD. There should be a link for the jury house RP. Just one camera though, so if they are sitting in the living room, we get to watch them. That way it's not too invasive as it was in the house.

Dan is a great player but I still think that Dr. Will is best ever and here's why.
Will was nominated 4 times for eviction and during that season there was no Veto. He had to convince enough HGs to not vote him out. The jury saw everything he did and it was made up of every HG that left.

Dan has not really had to fight for his own life in the game and when he did he had a chance to use or have used the Veto. Will's game was far harder. It's apples and oranges but still valid.
He may be the second best player or the best strategist but not the best IMHO.

Its a new day a new game, I loved how Dan tried to let Memphis know that he really didn't win that veto, but Memphis's ego was a little to big and he didnt get it I think that is going to be his down fall, and Jerry just might squeeze by him in this second part. Thats what the look was on his face last night "fear" He wasn't feeling bad about what he had done to keesha. And if you remember he had told Dan to throw him under the bus to Keesha, so I dont buy that he was feeling remorseful. I think it was Fear that you see on Memphis's face. But this is all taken from my opinion from watching my recorded BBAD this morning, This can all change within a matter of minutes of reading jokers updates todady which I will do all day long, and this is the beauty of BB "expect the unexpected" I'am just another BB freak that becomes way involved in the lives of other people. And believes that my opinion means somthing to someone. I only just found Carolyn and all you fun people I will miss this group, I have read your blogs daily I feel I know you. I really didn't want Memphis in the F2; I wanted it K/D. But, that's not gonna happen.
But think about it. Would you have given M any credit if had kept K and she and D ended up in the F2? Then how smart would he have been?
Isn't the object to win the $500K? At least these two guys did it with gameplay and not the vile, personal, vengeful tactics that earlier HGs this season used. If D/M had not lied some, just think who would be left in the house now.
I really wish no lying and nicey all the time could win this game, but it can't. It doesn't make them bad people. I really think it hurt M that it happened like it did. But he's not the devil -- it's a game.
Now, don't make me defend M again! It's really hard for me!

I'm just too tired greet everyone individually, and a bit teary eyed.
Did anyone else start bawling, not just tear up during Keeshas interview? I started tearing up immediately, but when a heard that little bit of her laugh I lost it completely. I adore her.
I think that was the best interview ever, even better than Renny's. Very insightful,genuine, and diplomatic,as regards to Jeery and April, she could have said much worse.
Her description of her relationship with Renny and Dan kept the tears flowing. I hopw when Renny sees it she will realize what a friend Keesha really is, I know Dan does.
I think Dan has to keep some of his caring for Keesha buried and act cocky because of Memphis. Memphis would worry about Dan's friendship with her and it could jeopardize him in the end.
She is one of the most endearing houseguests ever in the house. I really hope this will bring her to a career that will allow us to to see her frequently. Actually I would love something that includes Keesha, Renny and Dan together, their chemistry is amazing.
CAROLYN, are you allowed to put house calls up here I can never get it to play through the CBS site. I get about 4 seconds if show for every 2 minutes of reloading. But stuff always works fine through here.

One addition, I am sure production constantly eggs him on to do things in a manner we would describe as cocky for the viewers.
AS much as many were angered by how Dan was with Keesha in those last hours he was comforting to her and listened patiently to her every word while still following his master plan.
A good coach will still stay and try to win the game even if one of his star players has been injured and taken off the field.
Dan is by far the best we have ever seen. The fact that so many dislike him despite his true generous caring nature is proof of his mastery at the game.
You just can't fake the interest he takes in the other players and the respect he shows. I wonder if he ever took drama in HS and college?
Zany, I hope you are loving every minute of the chaos that. I hope the event will be blessed as well as the two of you, and all the endeavors you two will attempt together.

Memphis with April and Libra. I didn't have them the first few weeks so this should be good considering where this ended.
I know you can get HC's through the BB viewer. I don't know if anyone downloaded that. That's what I use. I find that for some reason I can't watch HC's at work, but I can get it at home.
They have a youtube page. I'm not sure how updated it is. I know last season Gretchen was really promoting, this season not so much.
Carolyn, don't show that picture to anyone. I was heavier and looked awful, lol.
Memphis is suffering now for evicting Keesha, and will continue to do so until Thursday nights vote. How fitting it is that he is the one that Jeery will be glued to for the next few days.
Right now Memphis's little voice is saying over and over and over again
"You should have kept Keesha"
As he hears Jeery rambling on in his sleep his little voice says "You should have kept Keesha"
Finally Memphis can take it no more, hits the panic button and runs screaming from the house. Dan looks up and winks at the camera.
Then he goes over and shakes Jeery's hand." We had them believing it from day one, Grandpa."
I would just like to say Carolyn you Rock!!! Just discovered your site at the end of BB8,& was a lurker through BB9, & the first time ever blogger in BB10. This site with all the wonderful personalities & view points makes the BB season soooo much more fun!!! You are THE BB warrior!!!
One of the things that has disappointed me the most in Mem, besides him evicting sweet Keesha, was him talking about BB8 Nick and calling him a f@gg#t, he said that about someone else a few days before that outside but covered it very fast. Whats up with the guys and this word?

I think what we witnessed last night was Dan pondering on the spa couch just who he is going to take with him to the Final 2...Memphis or Jeery... Remember he pumped Keesha pretty good about whether she thought he could beat Jeery at one point or Memphis at another point in their conversation.
Don't put it past Dan to blow past Memphis is a New York minute and pick Jeery if he thinks that is his best bet to get the cash.
Then you will see a true "Dustin face of shock" like no other. Completely unscripted....poor dumb Memphis...never saw it coming...

Hello Carolyn and fellow BB lovers/addicts. I send my prayers for safey for anyone in the path of Ike.
I think Dan is a great player. I didn't think he had a chance in hell of winning not mstter who he went up against, but I now think differently. He is a true BB genius. The time he spent with Keesha truly made a difference in him winning or losing the game (pending he makes in to F2). Memphis put the final nail in his coffin. Had he taken the time to talk to Keesha, they probably could have figured out what Dan was doing, and they possibly could have taken each other to the F2. Oh well, what's done is done. I think when Memphis watchs the tapes he will kicj himself right in the ass. Unless Keesha has some type of change of heart, i don't know that Memphis can beat Dan anymore.....I'm actually really excited to see what happens in the end. Oh yeah, I can't wait for Jeery to realize that he was played.....Remember he said "all I ask is that you play me for a fool" HA HA HA HA HA HA---

POD - women's lower center of gravity tend to give them a better sense of balance. It's a broad generalization. I think Keesha may have had a shot, but Dan would be hard for anyone to beat. He's so mentally intense in competitions. That's his real strength.
