We Say Goodbye to Season 10 & the Renegades
This fine Sunday evening,
A treat I received,
For when I checked my yahoo mail,
There was Noni without fail...
I'll leave the rest of the rhyming to Noni.. Here she is!
Instead if just a rhyme to finish the season, I thought it would be more fun to recap the entire season, paying a bit of extra attention to last days. I will do a short finale rhyme after it is all over saluting the Renegades and the finale. I have one in mind for All the Dishers too. Sorry this is so long but a lot happened. This certainly hasn't been a boring season and in my opinion the best ever. I am trying to figure out a way to post all my rhymes over the season in case you missed any or want to copy them. Maybe Carolyn will help me figure something out. Love, Noni
We Say Goodbye to Season 10 and the Renegades
By Noni
There is only one day left till we say goodbye,
To the houseguests who made us laugh and cry.
Farewell those that we sincerely adored,
And the few that we really deeply abhorred.
One Sunday in July we met them all,
Which one of them would be the first to fall.
Beween Jeesie and Renny we saw the initial spat,
That here on Dish caused endless chat.
As the season opened we learned their quirks,
Who was cool and who were the jerks.
With sock puppets and talk shows they entertained,
And those who soon our admiration gained
The cast voted Jerry first HOH a move so bold,
They saw just a grandpa kindly and old.
Little they knew that he would become so vile,
That a nasty mouth would become his style.
Brian departed Big Bother week one,
Too quickly the house he had tried to run.
When all saw through his plan they rebelled,
He was the first houseguest the mob expelled.
With Jessie leading the house we saw Steven leave
His friendship with Brian got him the heave.
His humor and outrageousness gave us fits,
He was one of this seasons quickest wits.
Week three we saw Keesha take the reins,
It was Angie she targeted for her brains.
She knew that Angie would go far if she stayed,
We saw this week the first sign of emotions frayed.
In the fourth week April the Borg queen ruled,
Little did she know of the revolt she fueled.
Keesha our hero, broke up the mob of seven,
For this she earns a seat in Heaven.
This week we saw the outbreak of war,
It shook the entire house right to its core.
April, Michelle, Keesha, and Libra did fight ,
As feed viewers watched in morbid delight.
Jeesie was by no means the innocent one,
And Jerry could not resist joining the fun.
Ollie and Renny their words we did hear
But Dan and Memphis wisely stayed clear.
It was then that our first glimpse we caught
Of the wise strategy in the game they fought.
Dan and Memphis would prove to be a force
To be reckoned with, we saw, of course.
Aprollie told Jessie he was secure from eviction,
But that guarantee turned out to be fiction.
As the votes were counted three to four,
Jessie was headed right out the front door.
Dan was accused of becoming a traitor,
Jerry became a loathsome hater,
April and Ollie whispered oaths to each other in bed
Their sex talk so repulsive it hurts my poor head.
As the fifth HoH Michelle vented her wrath,
To each and every house guest who stood in her path.
The loss of her trip to Hawaii fueled her ire
As about the bannah she remained a big liar
She targeted Keesha and Libra for ejection,
We saw her anger and dejection.,
She affirmed her alliance with April and Ollie,
Little did she know t’would prove her folly.
We saw more wars break out within the walls,
With screaming up and down the halls.
Curses flew and tempers flared,
As complaints and accusations aired.
Libra evicted left the first to sequester,
As Aprils hate for Keesha did fester.
The house divided stood four and four,
Which side would want the victory more?
In the sixth HOH comp we saw Renny prevail,
The Rennygades would surely never fail.
Aprils ouster from the house was Renny’s goal,
With the POV Dan held a pivotal role.
April felt that she was the prettiest,
Most big hearted and the wittiest.
Beneath the surface we did see,
An individual as ugly as one can be.
Four to one she was voted out,
She was leaving now there was no doubt.
It left Ollie alone with no one to cuddle,
But soon with Michelle he did huddle.
Week seven did Ollie think he was in control,
Over Dan’s HOH did the power he hold.
To fall from the vines they both made a deal,
But poor dumb Ollie thought it was real.
Our wily Dan was the cleverest one,
He wanted this week to have him some fun.
His HOH reign confused his flock
As his buddy Memphis sat upon the block.
He and Memphis had formed a sole alliance,
On each other they were in reliance.
To hide the fact a red herring they laid,
Hoping that they would not be outplayed.
We watched as Dan’s plan did unfold
Was he foolish or was he very bold?
Memphis Bob did Michelle replace
As on the block by Jerry she took her place.
There would be no chance for peace and quiet,
As Michelle and Ollie caused a riot.
I have never seen such a reign of terror,
We hoped that Dan had not made an error.
On the night we saw Michelle’s eviction,
Which sealed Ollie’s fate with conviction.
In the eigth HOH comp Keesha was victorious
Against Old Jerry so very notorious.
She beat them all and was HOH crowned,
She grinned and leaped while Ollie frowned.
He knew out the door Michelle he would follow,
As he blinked and in self pity did he wallow.
That night they left both full of rage,
They sat with Julie on the stage.
Of unfairness they both did rant,
Michelle convinced Dan was a plant.
The Fab 4 now held all the power,
Or so they thought for about an hour.
But their reign was so short you see
For Head of Household Jerry beat them 1. 2. 3……
We knew then it was not to be ordained
That t’would be the Fab 4 who remained.
Jeery’s noms were Keesha and our Dan,
But Memphis quickly foiled his plan.
Jerry’s replacement pick was Renny Roo,
To the Nawlins dame we bid adieu.
Now the house was down to four,
What next for us would be in store?
Dan reigned supreme in competition,
Another HOH was his mission.
Their stategy was to not reveal as yet
The Renegades alliance was a sure bet.
In a luxury comp we saw them vie,
They all gave it their very best try.
In the end It was Dan who won,
A fun filled day with Michelle in the sun.
Here at Dish we watched as they schemed.
Jerry would leave or so it seemed.
Again pawn on the block Memphis sat,
With Jerry in his military hat.
The only flaw in their plan could be the POV,
Who would win what would come to be?
To Memphis that night our Dan he threw it,
Thank goodness then that no one knew it.
Relieved we were all here at Dish,
It seemed that we had been granted our wish.
The three were safe, Jerry would be gone,
We celebrated till almost dawn.
Dan took off on his secret date,
Who knew what was to become his fate.
Would Michelle’s vote he secure,
Or terrible torture would he endure?
He returned home safe gifts in hand
Rocks he had found upon the sand.
The others at him questions hurled,
What was happening in the outside world.
It seemed as though things were winding down,
As the three did romp and clown around
Up in HOH did Dan and Memphis plot,
About who would stay and who would not.
Then we saw to our great dismay,
That it was Keesha they planned to send away.
All day all night on Dish we raved and ranted,
That with Memphis and Dan we were disenchanted.
Charmed we are with Keesha dear,
Her big heart and the laugh we love to hear.
We were so sorry to see her leave.
Because of the tangled web they weave.
But looking now in the harsh daylight,
We realize that their choice was right.
If the Renegades were to last to the end
It would be Jerry against whom they would defend.
I still sit here sad and broken hearted,
That it was Keesha who departed.
I had really hoped to see the three,
Together in the end standing free.
The night that Keesha left us here,
Many of us shed many a tear.,
She touched a place inside us all,
We applauded her as she walked out tall.
Left in the house there were only three.
What would become of Old Jerry?
Memphis and Dan their parts they played,
Jeery thought their friendship fatally frayed.
He hoped each would take him along
To final two, but he was wrong.
In Part I wing walkers they were,
On top of airplanes it caused quite a stir.
Jerry did fall before the feeds were back on,
We knew then that he would soon surely be gone.
Then Memphis went down according to plan,
Part one the victor was Dan the Man.
In Part II Memphis and Jerry faced one another,
A boxing match of sorts to knock out each other.
At the end of round ten Memphis his glove held high,
Relieved as we watched and we uttered a sigh.
Part III would have the Renegades meet,
As one would have to go down in defeat.
About Jury members questions they were given.
This time to win they were hard driven.
This final match would the last HOH decide,
In whose hands would the power reside.
On Dish we watched live with bated breath.
Who would win we were scared to death.
Could in the Renegades alliance we trust?
Or would the money their friendship bust?
Would one think that he had a better chance?
If he took Jerry to the final dance?
With each question I gasped and sighed,
The suspense churned my stomach inside.
At last it ended and Dan did win,
Of the three part comp he was champion
Since week one we had waited to see
Who would the final two houseguests be ?
Dan stood in front of the waiting two,
Would he choose as we hoped he’d do?
YES, YES, our cries heard around the world,
Twas time to raise the Renegade flag unfurled.
As Jerry headed out the door in shock,
And here at Dish the celebrations rocked.
We cheered as we did our Happy Dance,
In all our spaces we did prance,
Woo Hoo we all yelled right out loud
To see Memphis and Dan the Renegades proud.
At last our boys could finally relax,
They no longer had to fear the axe.
On the feeds we watched them let down their hair,
Like two little boys playing without a care.
Bit still they faced their toughest mission,
They must withstand the inquisition.
The jury members would questions ask,
This day would prove to be a daunting task.
But now all is over it is all done.
Next we will see who will be the one,
Amidst the audience’s excited cries
To take home the lions share of the prize,
Here at Dish we join the masses
Voting as we sit on our a**es.
How busy our flying fingers be
As we vote for Keesha our choice to be.
This rhyme is done, its way too long,
If I had some music it would be a song.
I won’t let you down I shall not fail.
It took some time to tell this tale,
One last thing that I must take time to say,
I feel for those who were in Ike’s way
For those at risk I offer hope and prayer
You know in our hearts we really care.
My friends here at Dish I shall treasure forever,
I will not forget them I promise never.
What’s that you say? Please don’t go far?
For coming soon are Survivor and TAR.

Had some free time this afternoon and watched Jerry on HC's ... not bad old man, not bad.

Another work of art Noni, loved it.
There you are :) Hi N2! I enjoyed it too.. especially when Gretchen asked him if he'd like to address his family et al., and he took it as an opportunity to address the live feed viewers...
Wow! I am absolutely blown away! Noni, you truly have the talent. I am super impressed at you remembering all those details.

Noni,
Once again you have outdone yourself...what a wonderful recap of the entire season! Fabulous job...I really wish this and all the other poems you have shared with us can be shared with all the "tv only's" as well as the hg's...
Carolyn,
I feel like the withdrawal is starting already, and while I havent missed a season of Survivor or TAR, BB and BBdish are really a unique opportunity to have a chance to bond with wonderful people in the US and Canada...I love you all and have really enjoyed this season
~hockeymom~
( and maybe I'll even set up a blogger account soon! )
BRAVO Noni!! You have truly outdone yourself on this one!! I hate to see this season end but I guess it's on to bigger things for BB10 HG.
Just glad I have power again. We lost power due to Ike pulling up quite a few trees around here. At least we've had nothing as bad as south Tx & south La. Praying for them all.
Carolyn hope your back is better soon. It's no fun being in pain!
Gaytor....did y'all ever hear from Danny's Mom? Hope so & hope all is well.
See y'all after the show!!
New Top Post! :)
Loved it♥♥
Such talent.
I loved that this could be a song.
That would be good.
I just loved that part and when he did the one word association ... that was a hoot.
This will be my new profile starting Survivor Gabon, I'll be posting all my chop works over here. I took a note from you and decided to make it all a one stop shop with N2RealityTV.
BB10 is going to stay exactly where it is under my personal account (aka Heather).
Thanks for all you do lady, much appreciated. Much love for all my fellow dishlovers!
;)
Hello Carolyn, Noni, and all other BB Crazies ;-)
Noni - You have a gift with words. I love reading your poems. I can't wait to see what you come up with for Survivor and TAR.
Well I just wanted to let everyone know that what they are showing on the news IS exactly that bad. I live in Cleveland about an hour north of Houston and there are uprooted trees and fallen powerlines EVERYWHERE!! We only have electric because we have a generator but we have no phones or stores or gas stations open. School will be out for a week but by the looks of things it will be out longer. Anyway I'm sad I'm not going to see the show tonight or Tuesday because of Ike coverage so Carolyn thanks for keeping us up to date. I hope everyone keeps us in their prayers because we need it. It's really bad!!
Brava ♥
Noni - what an unbelievable talent & memory. Wonderful! And, thank you for indulging us all season with these wonderful poems.
Loved it Noni... you made me smile and laughed out loud...
So Glad you are feeling better Carolyn. Just please, do not over do it tonight. Save yourself for our selfish addiction on Tuesday!!!
Thank you Chelsia for your insight to what happens within the BBhouse. I have enjoyed reading your blogs every week. I too, cannot wait until your contract is over with CBS so we can get the really great scoops...hehe So happy you are going to school and going abroad to study is fantastic. Good Luck in all your lifes adventures...
I am glad to be here...We had a very VERY Windy day here... I have been without power all afternoon. Just came back on a few minutes ago...I was really going to cry if I didn't get to see tonight's show. I have been looking forward to it all week.
We had just a little bit of rain, but the wind was something else.. Still windy here, but has calmed down a bit now. I know it was very mild to the wind etc. that everyone felt in Ike's path. My thoughts and prayers are still with them...I can't even begin to imagine. It was so hard to watch the news and see all of the devastation. I owned a Women's Consignment Boutique and after Katrina, my mother, daughters and I collected clothing at the shop and we sent 30 something boxes of clothing with the local sheriff/fire departments. There were semi trailers in different locations within our county. I can't remember exactly but I know there were at least 6 semis full of just about everything people could donate. I haven't heard anything yet, but I can see that happening again here with our sheriff/fire departments...
I have enjoyed the guys playing in the house. They are two funny guys.
Still voting for Keesha!!!!!
Everyone enjoy this evenings show...
Oh, Noni!! That was GREAT!!!
Ohhh Noni! I bow down at your feet!! You have such a talent! I love it! Will you be writing stuff for us for Survivor and TAR?? I'll be looking forward to it!
WTG Noni! That poem was great!
Keep those votes coming for Keesha!
Carolyn as usual you did a great job again this year!
Your site is the best on the net!
Love & kisses GF!!!!!
DebInNY - :) Thank you!! What a nice thing to say!
