Russell has a game idea for tonight. It's called 4-4-40. It's a game he used to play with all his co-firefighters when they'd put out some fire on a mountain, and they couldn't leave yet, just in case.

Still reading through today's posts and comments.........but just wanted to add...I agree with Jane about Lydia's comment.
What happened to Chima is horrific and deplorable, but the reality is, it's her story to tell any way she sees fit, and IMHO no one knows her well enough this early in the game to know if she would use it to gain sympathy to her advantage........and right or wrong of her to do......it's her story to tell.
I don't blame Lydia for being cautious....in this game......anything goes.
If Chima did tell it to game sympathy, I will not judge her for it. If she made it up...that would be different....but since it's true.....
Oh well, just my 2 cents....for what it's worth...(I know, 2 cents, right? heheh)

re: pc backlash. personally I don't like people telling me that certain words are forbidden to utter. stick & stones… well you know. I completely understand how ugly slurs are, but on principle I wish everybody was free to say whatever they wanted, without consequence. and I watch MSNBC. *gasp* That said… I realize words are powerful things, especially angry words.
Generally I find that people learn not to use certain unseemly words in polite company, but have the same thoughts as if they had used the "naughty" words.
We have plenty far to go in society in terms of tolerance, but sometimes I think political correctness encourages backlash more than it encourages understanding of fellow humans. It almost gives more power to a word to make it unmentionable.

Jordan is not the sharpest knife in the drawer, though what bothers me about her is she is aware of that and plays it up. She wants to be seen as the dumb blond. Now if that's strategy I take it all back, because she is damn good at it. But she's so good at it I don't think it's strategy. I'm so perplexed by her, it's like she wondered onto the set by accident and said "this seems fun," and just started hanging.

Paul, maybe it's my own bias talking, but straight guys don't do a lot of full frontal nudity in gay films. Interesting catchup.
Re: the Chima/Lydia exchange, I'd say it's just too early to tell what the motivations were behind telling the story. For a lot of folks who suffered that sort of trauma, being open about it is their way of coping, i.e. taking "ownership" of the experience. It's possible it was used for gameplay purposes, but who knows. Bit early to cast aspersions one way or the other.
This is why I love Carolyn so much, she doesn't mind a joke about getting into her pants ...

Good afternoon Carolyn and Dishers. So I'm trying to respect Natalie's game but I just dislike her attitude of entitlement. To speak to Jessie you gotta go through me and I must be present seems to be her attitude. Smart for sure to be in the thick of everything, I just can't get past the ego and find myself disliking her. Well that and the I tell everything how it is I don't lie..well save for that whole you're not really 18 so they all think you're young and inexperienced...
Ideally, if the others were smart they'd get rid of her. I'd dig watching her get back doored with a Russel Jessie nomination from Jordan (and I didn't particularly care for Jordan much) You know one of those guys would give it everything they had to win that POV!

I am so suprised Ronnie hasn't got busted yet with all his alliances..everytime someone starts to talk about it with the other person, they get interuppted....Ronnie..you have something on your shoulder, but no it didn't rub off your nose!
Russell played it safe and went to bed, but he did tell Natalie, that his fight with Jeff was to rile him up, right after it happened. I think Russell did take it to far and when "Yappy" started in it just made things even more heated. This girl has too much testosterone. Reminds me of a bully talking crap and his little sidekick in the background saying, "Yea"."Yea".and repeats everything her sidekick says. Russell has a potty mouth too when it comes to slurs, not just Jeff.
Lydia..oh Lydia..your comment about Chima was self-detonating with your fans. So disappointing..When she let loose on Ronnie, I was getting a Chelsea flashback. Ronnie is covering his tracks though and starting to put questions in everyones mind about how faithful she is. We'll see..
