For a live show it started out a bit weak, but my attention was at attention with Chima’s speech.
With all the censoring (thank goodness for the 10-sec delay), I’m not quite sure exactly everything she said. But I got the gist. And then I read up to be prepared for this piece.

That’s about it. After seeing her in all her prego glory last night I don’t have the heart to rip the Chenbot on anything. I am always happy for those knocked-up. I seriously must have grown a soft spot for her during my last menstrual cycle (must have it extracted after she pops the little one out).

LYDIA: Darling, it was nice to see you all fired up and defending Kevin against Braden. But when Braden tells you Russell spilled the beans on your ass, shouldn’t you take a moment to reflect? I heard the fire department dropped by the BB House what with all the smoke coming out of Jordan’s head while she thought through how to save Braden. I have to say though I’m proud of her and Laura for getting on the campaign trail. They put Palin to shame.

1. Yeah, so WTF was Braden wearing last night?! I have BEEN in / outside that house, and there is no good reason for that jacket he was sporting. Like, seriously? I thought chicks in nyc wearing their Uggs around was bad enough. I have to tune in and see Braden wearing my dad’s jacket?! At least my dad was rocking smokey glasses and giving the peace sign back then!

It was really interesting watching who cut whom in the HOH competition. True colors surfaced…and I forgave Laura for a minute for stretching the sh*t out of her skin to put those babies in. But just for a minute.
Drumroll…Ronnie wins HOH. THIS is why BB is great…and THIS is why HOH competitions are always great…you just NEVER KNOW who will be making those nominations :). Remember my season where there was a power flip week to week? Meanwhile, I just ate my way through the summer until it was time for a win. Sigh…the memories…screw expecting the unexpected, I love expecting the worst!!! MUAHAHAHAHA!
PS: My attempt to EDUMIFY YOU: Ho and Whore are the same thing. And I quote:

Yes I did, Michigan Man...it really was cool to see things close up. Everything from the backyard was outside the studio so we also saw all the patio furniture when we walked in..including the famous hammock! People were touching it, but knowing what I do about it, I opted to just look.

Actually Ms. Fitz, Julie was didn't seem offended at all, was beyond professional and really tried to give him the opportunity to correct his statements. It was him that wouldn't do it and acted as if he couldn't understand her questions. He kept trying to spin a long answer that didn't make sense, so Julie would just keep stopping him and repeated the same very simple questions. She couldn't get a straight answer out of him so she turned to us and said "Is it me?" (who's not making sense) and we all yelled "Noooo." She even asked us again one more time before she left the stage for the day...it was really cute. He really seemed as if he took something when he was backstage because he was coherent and articulate during the exit interview for the show, but when he came back to do the early show he was a mess. Even the stage manager said "you all got to watch the best plea speach in history and the most tweaked out interview in history" referring to Chima's speach and Braden's demeanor. The best part was when Julie asked him "Do I make you nervous?" and smiled. He got really antsy and replied a little too fast, "No, do I make you nervous?" and Julie just leaned back and smiled and said "No, I'm just fine." and he just stared blankly.

It is very possible, although they had a parking spot for the doctor right outside the studio door (I guess in case of emergency) and his car was not parked there when we came in or when we left. It could have been the nerves that made him all jittery...or a hit of coke.
All in all, great fun!!

I'm going to try really hard to make this my last post about this topic....I'm disgusted w/ Chima's behavior last night. Not because she said that (even though it was pretty low & trashy....2 wrongs...) but because she is a hypocrite. All those rooting her on for "setting things right & exposing the nastiness", don't forget, she made her own nasty comment: white people are dirty. It wasn't said in anger. It was said calmly in a convo w/ Natalie. Pot, meet kettle.

KentInNYC I'm in San Antonio.
We have had very little rain for the past 2 years & only in the last 3 months we have about 3 inches. It's been over 100 degrees every day now for the last month. It's a huge event when it rains just a little. What is really sad I got so excited & it has already stopped.

ohhh, they MIGHT be getting an earful. I remember those days though that it would take FOREVER for some competitions to actually happen. There was one day where the competition was INSIDE and we had to wait OUTSIDE. We were crawling along the edges looking for shade like we were looking for a dime bag we dropped. HA.
Kent and I were born on the same day, different year. But apparently our parents had the same idea at the same time of year...hmmm...

I say: You could be right, MsFitz. I think it was more trying to keep braden on track because he was very nervous and jittery, twitching in his seat and not responding directly to the questions. I think she was kind of coaxing him to pay attention. Braden also had some brief off camera moments where he whispered things to Julie with an apologitic look on his face, but I could only hear every other word so I'm not positive he was apologizing, but she seemed receptive. There was a moment during the commercial break after Chima's speach where the stage manager said to us "Can you believe what she said? About Julie? that will never air, its already been cut" when he mentioned her name she looked back at us and her expression said "Yeah, can u believe he said that about me" but she was smiling the whole time.
Ms. June, your blog is very funny and snarky, just like I like it!! The very first big brother episode I ever watched was when you went to the awards show, so I guess I can say you are partly responsible for this addiction I'm still supporting to this day! You're my pusher baby!

MsFitz, I used to live in San Antonio! My son is there now - going to college. He works at Fiesta Six Flags part-time. I love San Antonio.
How awesome would it be if Russell just switched alliances?! I do think when the time is right...he will start to distance himself from Jessie, Natalie, and Lydia.
By the way, Russell is not my type ever (which is what many of yall have said too) but dear god, if I was a single women in that house I would be all over that. He so looked like a stripper last night.

SassySam, I remember when I was in the house and they gave us posterboards of fan quotes, etc...we got in when it dot down to me, Ali and Rob.
