Lydia's in the living room, Michele's also up and dressed, but good luck with the rest of em! We go immediately to the BRB Screen... then a minute later, at 9:48am, Trivia!!! This is going to be the most rag tag looking PoV player choosing ever.
The players will be revealed here within this post as they become known.

Lydia: She wants to see who she can trust. So Michele's like, I'm sorry, I'm sorry...

Lydia: I think she did it to see if Natalie could be trusted, and I'm sure she didn't think that by telling Natalie it would get back to me through Jessie...

Russell: That was a big slap in the face to Jessie that I chose you...
Jeff heads in to the DR, and Russell sits down to enjoy his hard boiled egg breakfast sandwich and coffee.

I knew there would be a new top post as soon as I posted this in last one!
Lydia's biography says she was nanny to a high profile couple. When I think of who would employ such a funky styly nanny, I think of the Jolie-Pitts. Anyone have a guess or know the real answer?
I'm really nervous about Jeff using the CDT...and him turning into everyone's target. I now hope Russell wins and takes himself off and Michelle is replacement. Then when Jeff replaces them with Jessie/Nat, he'll be the good guy. I feel like people, more than Chima and Nat are going to be mad at him for saving Russell and J/J will be next targets.

The whole thing about them even thinking Jeff is wizard is they have no idea what his supposed power is and they still kind of think Kevin might have it!! My prayer is that Nat does not get POV.....Jeff uses power to put up Nat/Jessie, Chima goes off, possibly to an extent that might be over the top!!! Who knows!!

Genie - you hit the nail on the head about Jeff & Michelle. Jordan has a better grasp of both of them & they need to sit down & get this out in the open. As long as Jeff continues to listen to Russell it will get worse. And, I just wish Michelle would zip her mouth shut around the other HG or quit asking questions about something someone might have said. If she wants clarification about it then go to the source stop going to Natalie or someone else.

Jeff is going to turn this house upside down on Thursday, Kevin and Lydia are going to be scrambling trying to align themselves with the people who hate them the most, Natalie and Chima.
I just can't wait for the look on Jessie's face when he's sent packing!

cindy.lou.who (from previous post) - I agree with what Dan said about people using tactics from previous shows. When this season started & it took off faster than previous seasons I had commented one time that the longer this show goes on the more we will probably see that happening. People who have watched it & tried to get on the show already have a plan of action set up in their head of how they will start working their game based on what they have seen from previous HG. It was great advice Dan gave that they should be themselves.

Yes, it is time for Jeff to step up and make a move and then the whole game will change for our favorite couple. They will practically have to alternate as HOH each week since I don't trust Russell, Michelle or Lydia to stand by them when the chips are down.
I do take offense to all the times Jesse has talked about them floating by and not playing the game. When have they had time to float? They have been too busy ducking and dodging to avoid all the crap that is constantly flying around the house.
I can't wait for Chima's Thursday night meltdown! I just hope anyone but gNat wins, I want her up beside Jessie. but if gNat does win I think Jessie would go home against Lydia.

Jane, your thoughts on Lydia??? Is she playing a game or is she just really so insecure with herself that she is clinging to Jesse and the 'attention' good/bad he gives her? Appears to me that this could a pattern that continues even outside the house? Just a thought, but would love to hear Jane's take on the subject.
Michele is very similar to Ronnie because if she's lonely, she will talk game and make assumptions abhout anyone.
Michele can not defend her actions because she has already let Natalie steam roll her about a lie that never happend.

Who else thinks this will be a "how badly do you want it" comp? With Jesse not playing it's better but they all know that only HOH and POV holders are safe from wizard powers.
I feel awful for Michelle in that house. Jordan needs to be more adamant to Jeff about Michelle not being the bad guy. If Jeff were more solid with her she'd be less likely to get isolated and caught in these webs and attacks.
The part I really don't understand is that if Jeff saves Lydia from eviction and replaces the nominees with Jessie and Natalie,
Kevin and Lydia will still be loyal to the person who stays in the house.
Kevin is a disgrace and a total wuss. He sat and let Jessie berate him in front of everyone and then apologized to Jessie afterwards.
What?! Is it possible that Russell got HG Choice and chose Jeff over Jessie?! WTG Russell! That's the first move you've made that actually makes sense this week ... maybe this season!

I agree that Jessie needs to go, but I believe Natalie needs to go first. Jessie is self-absorbed and only really worried about himself. Natalie is pulling all the strings in the house and causing all the paranoia. Please people, send her packing. Nat hasn't won anything yet (well except 4 HOH's), so hopefully today's comp will be no different!

I have been daydreaming about Thurday nite. (snickers) I can just hear Chima, (after she gets over the initial shock of Jeff renominating 2 people) asking if she gets a vote too, since she has lost all rights of HOH. Then Julie gives her a resounding NOO.
Then she asks if she at least can compete in the new HOH. And once again Julie responds with a resounding NOOO.
I just hope that BB figures out a way to shut her little tirade down. If she starts cursing a blue streak f*ks all around, while Jeff is renominating someone, it could be all bleeps. I know they're on a 30 second delay, but it could ruin the show. And I surely do not want to miss this one.

Russell is a friggin bully that preys on the weak... First with Ronnie, now with Michelle... He wouldn't have treated Lydia or Chima like that because they would get right back in his face.. Michele is socially awkward and can't keep up, so he pounces.. I want him OUT!
Russell chose Jeff to play POV with him. I love him. Take that Jessie! Jessie is so outta there. But Natalie can't win POV so he can put them both up! Jeff should try not to win this POV. Hopefully Russell wins, they put up Michelle. Then Jeff takes them down and puts up Jessie/Natalie on Thursday. I just love that Jessie wasn't picked. YAY!
Jeff and Jordan are basically playing with house money. They are still targets regardless if Jeff uses the power and Jeff is the only that knows that.
Kevin and Lydia can't win a HOH contest. The only people that would target Jeff and Jordan are the people that were going to target them anyway, Chima and Natalie.
I wonder how Lydia will react when Jessie is sent home on Thursday.
I hope either Lydia or Russell win the POV. Then Chima can put up Jordan or Michelle. If Chima really believes Jeff has the CDE she shouldn't put up Jordan.
Then Jeff can use the CDE and put up Jessalie with Jessie going home.
I think maybe the Russell spat with Michelle is part of their plan. I know Michelle spilled the beans about everything BUT I think she is sly like a fox.
Next week Chima needs to go. I am sick to death of her. She's a narcisstic misandronist. She's the real racist in the house. Go back to the Chima, Natalie, Kevin dialogue about the "Red" states and the "Blue" states and the depth of color of their skin, etc.

I hope the Houseguests check to make sure that the other names are on the chips in the bag, so its fair. If it was the veto choosing players ceremony, I would dump the bag out and make sure everyone was there.
Why are there four feeds of Russell. If we have to watch some one lying in bed at least give us some other choices.
I understand Jeff non trust in Michele. Michele seems to always be involved in some type of drama because she can't keep her mouth shut.
The whole miscommunication with Natalie about Lydia wanting to go after Jeff is something Jeff will always remember. Michele holds her card close to her chest with the people she should and shows her hand to the people she shouldn't.
Michele brings all this non trust on herself.
If Nat/Jessie go on the block, they can't vote...Chima can't vote, knocks the three bad votes out and counts the votes in the house to really shake that house up finally!! No more of those three running the house, IMO

They both have spilled the beans all over the house. Michele is gravitating to the mythical Woman's Alliance which really is Chima and Natalie.
Jeff will make himself a target if he goes to bat for Russell, but Russell will finally solidify his allegiance to Jeff, as he has shown already by picking him for the POV over Jessie.

Red Rhonda - I would love to hear jane's take on Lydia, as well. I am certainly not a psychiatrist, but to me, Lydia seems like a woman whose whole self-worth has to be tied up in whether she is with a man or not. And yes, I mean in a sexual relationship. Kevin is gay, she know Jeff is smitten with Jordan, and Russell just isn't interested. Of the departed HGs - Ronnie was a married doofus, Casey was married and Braden was only there a week.
Ms. Fitz - how cool that our man Dan gave a great piece of advice that carries over into real life, not just in the BB house? If Jeff goes as far as I hope he will, maybe Dan will sort of mentor him through the post-BB shark waters. He mentioned how former BB winners have done that for him in the past year.
Best case scenario for Jeff, either Russell or Lydia win POV, take themselves off, and Chima puts up Michelle or Jordan.
At that point, Jeff can use his power to take both people off the block and replace them with Jessie & Natalie.
Hey Genie! No prob, I didn't see/hear what all was said last night. I can't hardly listen to any of them anymore.
My thing with Michelle was as a human being and before she put Jeff on people's radar. If Jordan was more successful at getting Jeff to trust Michelle before, she wouldn't have been vulnerable to saying anything last night. Michelle really doesn't have enough "on the fly" people skills for this house. Maybe with less confrontational hgs, and ones that didn't start playing the game at 200mph on day one she'd have had a better chance.
This group was too much for her. She never had/has a chance to just sit and puzzle them out.
I still say that Jeff's playing a great game. Even with being on the radar. He can win comps. He won POV when needed, he could have taken that HOH. People may be wary of him now but it won't last. He hasn't made himself as hated as others.
I actually hope for a Michelle HOH next week. She'll get a place to decompress and it'll be interesting to see who she falls for. I think she'd put up Russ but who else?

I think it will be a "how bad do you want it" POV too, and as long as he doesn't give up anything I hope Jeff wins, makes a deal with Russ, takes him down with the POV to make chima put up someone else, and then replace both her noms again Thursday!

The things that happen when you turn your back. I see now Russel and Michele are at it again and even Jeff is on the she's crazy, bi-polar, etc. wagon. I noticed from some of your commentary that you think this is Michele's or that's how it reads to me. I'll have to flashback a lot. To me though this all goes back to the green room lie that Russel believed Nat and Jessie. Russel is a complete jerk. If he is first in jury house I won't even mind. It seems he has taken over Ronnie's brain. I said it the night it happened and I still believe it. He is doing everything in his power to create the all female alliance that he says they have to prevent. Add this to the problems that Nat and Jessie have been having and I wouldn't be surprised to see her put him up given a chance.
If this keeps up Jeff will use the wizard power and take down Russel and put up Michele. I hope he see the light before Thursday. Things don't look good right now.
I wish he would take down Russel and put up Nat and then see what happens. Every lie left in that house stem from her so she needs to go next.
Going to read comments and see what else is going on. Every time I hear or read that Russel is harassing Michele though I get PO'ed big time.

Alright...just a few things.
1. From last night in HOH - I get so irritated when people talk about politics and have basis or knowledge on it. I did not vote for the wizard based on my political beliefs, how attractive they are, race, or sexual orientation. I voted for Jeff because he seems to be a nice, funny, treats everyone well, and has been a underdog this whole season. Furthermore, for someone to be claiming other HG are racists, that HG has surely been harping on EVERYONE's race. You cannot claim to fight racial issues when you, yourself, are not "color blind." Also, IMO if you believe (not just find it fun) in astrology, then you believe in stereotypes. She should watch Penn & Tellers BullS**T on astrology, very funny and very informative.
2. Also, did these people forget it is to the Jury now? You have to get votes from these HG to even win! Doesn't matter how far you will make it....you still have to get the votes!
I hope this comp has something to do with water to freak Nat out and she doesn't win POV. I never said I wasn't mean! LOL
I'm still in shock that she showered twice within one week!!!

Carolyn, I posted this on an earlier post but the comment never got published. Can you (or someone else) explain how the voting works when the Coup d'Etat is used? Does Jeff still get to vote and Chima ends up TOTALLY screwed and doesn't get her noms OR a vote? Or does Jeff take the role of HOH and he doesn't vote and Chima does? Further, how does a tie work when the Coup d'Etat is used? Does Chima still get to break the tie or does that power shift to Jeff? I am a diehard fan (as you know... I've been bloggin here since all stars) and am ashamed to know I don't know the answer to this question!
I just don't want Natale to win POV. anyone else is ok. I sorta hope Chima wins because she is all ready protected by being HOH. Best case scenario, on thurs. jess, and Natale go up on the block. Jesse goes home. Then Jeff wins HOH, and nominates Chima, and Natale. That would be GREAT!!!!!

LOL, Marci ... yeah, some fool let the fairies and elves take time off this w/end so I'm stuck with the house chores cuz company coming tonight ... Really sucks just when PoV is so crucial .. lol
Before I get too far off topic though ... is it me or is this house the most crazy, flip-flopping, bi-polar, unpredictable and shady household ever in BB history?!
I mean, just when there seems to be a solid alliance forming between more than two people .... someone (Natalie/Russell) goes on a tirade, makes up stories (that far too many start to believe) or spills all the secrets (making everyone suspicious of them, not the other HGs) and flips everything upside down again.
Honestly, I don't trust that any of the alliances are for F/2 except Kev/Lyd, J&J, and Jessalie. No one can align with either Russell or Michele because neither can keep their mouth shut and will throw you under the bus without a second thought ... then claim it was game-play ... Seriously?! Game-play?!
Oh, and I do think that Kevin and J&J are playing, not floating. Actually I'm not sure it's possible to float in this game ... you have to align somewhere at some time to someone or you won't make it through to the end.
They may take a less confrontational position than others in the house, but that doesn't mean they're not playing the game. It just means they're less annoying ... I'm not a confrontational person by nature so others may feel differently than I do here ..
Anyway, my 2cents .... worth probably exactly that, too ... lol

Natalie won't win PoV. When has she ever won anything?
This is Jeff's first opportunity to do what he's wanted to do the whole game, FLIP THE HOUSE. The only way to do that is to replace whoever is on the block w Jessie & Natalie. The Coup d'Etat can win Jeff at least 2 friends, split up the only other couple (that can win comps) & secures the eviction of 1/2 of his biggest obstacles to him getting further.
I'm pretty sure he knows this, but this game can turn you 180 degrees in a week. The power should allow him to have a clear head about all this, thankfully.

Just watching some of the flash back footage from last night. Man, this is not the game for Michele. If there ever was a scapegoat ...
Her awkward interpersonal skills are just too devastating. As far as I can tell, she lies the least of anyone (except Jordan) and is pretty emotionally stable, considering (Russell is far more bi-polar-ish). But she's so awkward that any joke or comment she makes can be turned into the lie of the century by the Ronnie's and Russell, and the boys (namely Jeff) believe it. Bros before hoes, and all that.
I feel for her, but on the other hand, them's the breaks. The most interesting thing to me is that Jordan, who has a double digit IQ deficit compared to Michele, is that much smarter in the game.
One thing though, as much as I do love Jeff and Jordan, they got themselves a huge advantage when they found each other. Without each other, this would be a very different game for the both of them.
Shouldn't this veto comp be physical? They have been physical in the past. This is week 5, right? If it is physical, I think Russ will win. Jeff better throw the competition.

I would hope that Chima at least gets to still vote and break the tie... although if she is already planning breakdown to end all breakdowns if Jeff usurps her power, imagine what will happen if she doesn't get to vote or break the tie either? Can we say spontaneous combustion. I must say tho, it seems like I am the only Chima supporter. It just sucks because out of her alliance, that is the only one I really like. I would like to see a Jordan/Kevin/Chima/Jeff final 4!!

I knew it. I did the flashback research Aug. 5th first conversation between Michele and Russel 12:30am. Russel is called to DR and Michele says we will talk about sexual dysfunction another day, Russel laughs. That morning in the back yard 12:30pm Russel confronts Michele and says that she said erectile dysfunction, Michele corrects him and says she said sexual dysfunction. She says it was funny because it was the last thing she said. It was the last thing she said. Russel like many of them came up with erectile dysfunction in his own head. Russel has now used it so many times he believes it, he has convinced Michele that she said and he has convinced everyone else that she said it. She didn't say it. Paranoia.
