Here's a fun flashback to start your day. The HGs touch on everything from Jordan and Jeff hooking up once they're outside of the house, to Natalie admitting she also cheated during Otev - Mike O even called her out on it (and paused to review tapes, during which time Jordan was sure they were going to DQ Kevin), to what they'd do with the money.
Natalie says if she were to win, all the money would be gone in nothing flat, because she wants to pay off all her debt and buy a house outright.

Chima talk continues, and Natalie admits to a bit more, but insists Chima was the instigator...

Shortly after 3:30am, Kevin and Jordan go to sleep. Natalie stays up another hour, playing solitaire at the kitchen counter, then she hits the sack as well.

No idea why I am up so early. I got sick of the feeds about halfway through BBAD and moved on to watch Bill Maher. Kathy Griffin was hilarious.
I guess I'll be here a lot today... at least during my waking hours. It might just turn into a lazy sleepy day. Rain all day. Not that I am complaining.

Natalie sure did play with lots of integrity & honesty didn't she? HA! It would certainly serve her right if Jordan wins and takes Kevin to final two. On the other hand, it would be nice if AGP would show the Jury this footage to help them in their vote decision if not penalized for their cheating, especially Natalie.

Thanks, Jane, for the info on the game show Twentyone. I could find no regulations regarding cheating. I know the FCC stepped in and sanctioned the creator/owner. I wonder if the FCC role is to protect the contestant or the viewer?

I know it means nothing, but I love how when I go to vote online, Nat's picture is not in the number one slot in any scenario. I voted a lot yesterday at work...Jordan, Kevin, Jordan. Jordan, Kevin, Jordan.
Someone mentioned they were having a hard time reading the catpcha...I was too. I had to stand up and play with the lighting on my screen several times in order to read all of the characters. No funny ones for me though. I laughed at whoever got the "loser" one. That was great.
GaYToR...I am so happy that it's not cancer, so are the people I work with. I had to share the good news with people, and when I first tried, I got strange looks when I explained how we were friends. SO I just started telling people you were my good friend from high school. LOL No matter, they all say congrats and want you to take care of yourself.
Can anyone give me a suggestion for a one year wedding anniversary gift? I know it's paper. He got me a card in my lunch every day this week and then he gave me a photo keychain preloaded with 100 wedding photos...modern day
version of a photo album. My original idea of an electronic subscription to a magazine or newspaper pales in comparison now. HELP ME!!!!

Hi All,
I have so much BB to catch up on. Very groggy and still not felling so good. I had to have major surgery on Wednesday morning (total abdominal hysterectomy)- left the hospital yesterday afternoon and am at my parents resting I guess as best as can be with everything that has happened- dozing on and off with pain meds- wish I still had the morphine pump. Ok- well please keep me in the loop with BB- not so happy that Nat made it this far, but all things considered am grateful that I'm still here and can hang out with all of you, sorry if I don't make sense but will check in later.

An anniversary gift? I'm no help there. I get DQTD the same thing every year. NOTHING! He gets me the same, but we are the instant gratification types. We see it, we want it, we get it. But congrats on the 1 year. I even remember how excited we all were here at Dish for your wedding.
As for your calling me a friend from HS, that is too funny. BBDish is very much a family of friends, and each year we add some new ones. Thanks for thinking of me. I know hearing all the positive wishes and thoughts have helped to get me through those weeks of worry.

I want to see Jordon win the next HOH and I think that she has a good chance of it. Jordon knows all about the HGs because she spent her time mingling and talk to other HGs, not to . mention she listened as other HG's talked, not stuck up in the HOH room all day and night or sleeping all the time. Jordon wins takes Kevin, Natalie is out. The jury knowing that Jordon won 2 or the 3 HOH's gives her the big money an Kevin gets 50....I want Natalie to get nothing

Happy day everyone! I just had an OMG moment... There was a commercial for the movie Fame and one of the girls kinda looks like Nat but golly did she sound exactly like her. Is there any comp that Natalie didn't cheat at. Sheesh what is with that chick.
My latest flashbacks have been watching Season 2 again. If anyone wants to know all about Justin episode 4 is the one you want to watch. That is when he got kicked out. I forgot how much he had done before the knife incident. He urinated on a window, threw the chess board and broke some pieces. Unlike Chima he is interviewed after he is out of the house by Julie. He doesn't understand why threatening someone with a knife was wrong. He says he was joking.
I also forgot that Will and Shannon had the first BB showmance. It didn't last long since she was booted week three. Then Boogie got booted week four and Will was all alone. Hard to believe that he won that season. Good watching though.

Good morning/afternoon, All my BB addict buddies!
We have been having a lot of rain the last few days & some much cooler weather. More rain is expected today. After the horrible hot & dry summer we had it's been such a welcome relief. It's been almost 2 years since we have had this many days of rain in a row. It's pretty humid but w/ humidity comes rain so believe me, I am not complaining.
I am definitely going to go back to the FB to hear how Natalie cheated or what she did. How can she say she has played w/ integrity. Playing the game with integrity is to outwit or outplay a HG not play to win by cheating and/or getting someone kicked out for breaking a rule or get someone off the show by putting something in their food that would cause them to get sick because of an allergic reaction. (She thought of the 2 latter scenarios a number of times) I guess some people will do anything to get the money. And, this is not the house causing her to do crazy things she had to have this type of manipulative mind coming into this house.

Zany, I have learned through the sorrows in my life (Father, Brother, Step-Father, Friends) you never get over it but you learn to live with it. Your wound is very fresh right now and, this sounds cliche, but as time goes by it will get a easier. You will be able to replace the pain & tears with a smile because the good memories will outweigh the pain & will always be there for you to remember & hold in your heart. You will have those moments where you will still feel exactly as you did the day it happened. Allow yourself those moments, don't stop yourself from shedding those tears. It's cleansing. A little story: After my brother passed away I saw a license plate that had the initials of one of the meds he was taking when sick. I'm driving down the street, see this plate & burst into tears. I thought I was losing my mind. But, after the cry I started to laugh. I just found it funny that something so simple was that much of a trigger. But it only means we're human & to lose someone so special to us is painful but tears can be replaced with laughter.
Didi - I thought about you all week. I don't know if you saw it when I posted in reply one night when you mentioned your surgery but I have a complete understanding of the disappointment you are dealing w/ because of the hysterectomy. I went through the exact same thing a few years ago. You are not alone. Take good care of yourself & give yourself lots of attention & time. Draw support from your family & friends & find someone that lets you talk about all that you are feeling.
Well, I'm off to the gym & will be back later to watch the FB & catch up on the "excitement" of the HG today! Ha, I bet they are going out of their minds waiting for Tuesday. I bet Jordan didn't mind cleaning the house & doing the laundry alone yesterday. It gave her something to do constructive to do.

Didi - get better soon! Best advice I can give you is, when the Dr. said limit your movements and lifting,etc,etc,etc DO IT! You will feel wonderful in a few more days and be raring to go, that's when you'll overdo it and exhaustion will take over.
Zany - you will find just the right gift. It's not a competition, spend the day doing stuff you love for one another. And remember happy things so your dad is part of your special day.

When Julie mentioned on the last show the 'interrogation by the jury' a picture of Natalie being waterboarded flashed in my mind. Now I have never been in favor of torture but...it made me laugh picturing the rag in her mouth while she tries to mumble about her integrity.

I lost my Dad 3 yrs ago.It seems like forever now and it feels like yesterday. I found that when I would need him and wanted to talk to him I would find his voice inside me.I knew what he would say he had always helped and counseled me like no one else.You know he wouldn't want you to be sad.

I too have the question regarding who the Jury House members ask questions to.
This is what I think will happen:
Tuesday night, part III of the final HOH is played. The winner Jordan (thinking positive and throwing it out there to the universe) will select Kevin to go to the final 2. Natalie will then have to walk out to the live audience and get booed (really believe that will happen, whether they edit it [being live and all]). Then the 6 Jury Members will ask questions to Jordan and Kevin so they can decide who they will be voting for. Then the votes will be cast and Jordan will win the $500K because she kicked but when she needed to and was a good all around person.
That's what I think will happen . . . universe hear me . . .
Natale is freaking out. On AD last night she almost blew it when she said that she was going to call out Kevin for claiming that she keeps talking game with her.

I was waterboarded for real at SERE school before going to war. They do not put a rag in your mouth but rather a cloth over your face. Don't recommend it for anyone. I might make an exception for tang.
What a heavy day! Didi, I had the same surgery and my wonderful husband took care of everything and I stayed off of my feet and laid on the couch watching tv. In 3 weeks I was back to work and was supposed to take 6 - 8 weeks. It went well. GaYTor - great news! Zany One - you don't cry unless there is a very special person that you are missing and that is good to acknowledge. My Mom dies 3 years ago and I cried just reading your post! Dad had Alzheimer's so it is like part of him is gone, but I celebrate that part that is still here.
Now for the trivial stuff ... I thought that the program was the $64,000 Question, that caused the scandal. I didn't see the movie but as a "little" kid, I do remember the TV show and the controversy.
Why would BB keep those 3 in the house for so long with nothing to do? Natalie will talk Kevin and Jordan into oblivion by Tuesday. Has Michelle gone to the jury house or to a hotel?

Natalie will probably get a rousing applause as she leaves the BB house though since everyone will be so happy she is GONE!! She'll, of couse, misinterpret it as being that America loves her and she's going to have a televised wedding ala Trista and Ryan. As if!!!!! HAHA.
I just watch a few minutes of flashback during the first week of the season. Jessie and Ronnie were so unbearable, I didn't even remember them being that bad. Watching Jordan sleep in the sun is better.
Natalie has few redeeming qualities, but honestly, I prefer watching her to Jessie and Ronnie, and especially Ronnie. He's a nightmare. A-hole of the most extreme magnitude. Had to turn it off.
There is no point to this. But in a few days I won't have any place to criticize people with complete impunity. I need to get it all in for the next nine months.

Scott, it was a while back, but I think what I found were regulations on game shows. Presumably the regs are to protect the contestants, but to even say they are regulations is stretching it a bit. It's more a statement that game shows need contracts. It's really to protect the FCC and networks from the hassle of another scandal.
It was a big expensive mess at the time. Though the politics of the scandal at that time were very culture specific. It was early TV, a completely different "moral" sensibility, and we weren't used to public messes aired nationwide.
Now, it inconceivable to imagine this issue being a blip on the political radar. The next political issue will be when someone dies as a direct result of negligence. And even then, it will have to be something extreme, like it was aired live and it was a pregnant woman who's fetus died, or something like that. We've already had murders that resulted from talk shows, and though the court case got attention, it had hardly the same social impact. It's a very different time in mass communication.

I haven't had a chance to do FB yet, but will get started now.
I get the klutz award for the day...I fell down a flight of stairs this morning. Have been in E.R. all day. I have a fracture in my knee and a hairline fracture in right hip....They sent me home, but have to stay in bed (by myself) until I go to ortho doc on Monday. Gave me lots of pain meds. I am black and blue up and down my whole right side.

When I was on Scrabble (the TV game show ~ 23 years ago!) It was so intense as far as security goes. We could only go as groups to the ladies room and you were not allowed to talk to anyone else in the studio. There was always a lawyer present. We were told it was because of the $64,000 question game show scandal. It was pretty cool, though.
BTW~ I won $4,150!!! I was on for 2 days!! Woohoo!!

MsFitz, I couldn't have said it better myself. I lost my mother, stepfather, father & grandmother all within 3 years (to the exact day Jan 18th). Being an only child was really hard too and I thankfully had wonderful friends to help me. I was 36. It does get easier but shedding those tears is exactly what you need to do! There are many different phases you will go through dealing with this.

Just a heads up here. I just watched the semi-finals of the US open, and they were saying that the finals are tomorrow night. I don't know when they will put on the clip show for BB.
What was this cheating that Natalie and Kevin did during the OTEV Veto contest? I seem to have missed it!
anonymoose - they talk about the cheating starting around 1:15am on that flashback...
The cheating that Nat did was cut out on the tv show as well as the the live feeds...we looked back at our copy of it to confirm. She rubber banded her hand onto the key but kept her hand at times on the rope instead of the key. It's on BBDish Blog. Check it out. And Kevin knew exactly when it was fixing to start rolling again cos' he was pretending to look away from Natalie but really he was watching the mechanism...
