Big Brother 12: Power of Veto Comp Results & Immediate Aftermath
Good afternoon, BB Lovers! I'm looking forward to filling in the blank on the PoV winner & changing that pic ASAP! As soon as the feeds come back & the results are known!In the meantime, just getting this post ready for the inevitable...
At 11:07am BBT, the feeds cut to the Be Right Back Screen. That was followed about 23 minutes later by Trivia, indicating that the PoV Comp was underway.
So now... we await the feeds and confirmation on the winner of this first crucial comp. Why crucial? Well, someone's life in the game sure depends upon it!
If Hayden has his way, either Brendon or Rachel are going home. He's been quite clear that he prefers it to be Brendon, but if Brendon wins it, Hayden says he'll put up a pawn and send Rachel packing.
A pawn. Yeah. That always works out real well for the pawn...

The feeds came back with Annie gaming him in the Storage Room, telling him how happy she is for him. He left, Lane and Britney entered, and they launched into, we're f'd.
Scurry, scurry wee creatures! The game just started over again, and these gamers are intense. ;) Enzo and Matt are already up in HoH, ironically talking smack about how other HGs will be up there very soon, bucking for themselves. They are not happy about Brendon winning PoV, but Enzo says it's good Brendon won, because it proves they were right about him being such a threat...
So... who will the "just a pawn" be? In other words, who's going home? ;p
The only thing that's solid is this: Brendon's Golden....

Rachel: Just make whatever deal you have to... I hope you win HoH next week. We'll have fun. (giggles) They're just pissed up there.
Brendon: Because they all wanted me to go home. Obviously they all figured out now that I'm a physical and mental competitor. I'm gonna make a deal for you and me. I don't wanna be here if you're not here.
Rachel: I'm really proud of you though.
Brendon: Thanks.
Rachel: You did such a good job. I really wanted to come jump on you when I saw it...

Jeez, I feel right back in the swing of things. I'm sitting here watching TV with the speakers of my computer on a little bit loud so I can jump over as soon as I hear people talking. It's so good to have Big Brother back again!

Damn - i got caught with the new top post so i'll repost here.
Some of my biggest pet peeves with ppl are as follows:
1. Wearing the damn baseball hat backwards.
2. Wearing your pants so low that one good fart and your pants will fall to your ankles.
3. Ppl who constantly have to tell ppl to trust them or they have to tell ppl they are classy/nice - always a load of drap cause real nice/classy and trust worthy ppl don't have to say it cause it just shows.
4. Girls who wear clothes 1 size too small to show off what the dr was able to give them/do for them.
5. Being so disrespectful/ignorant towards someones beliefs/religion. I'm not even religious in any way but i still show respect to those who are.
It is gonna be SOOOOOOO hard to find someone i like this season.

Carolyn, I have no idea if Brendon and Rachel have told each other about their Physicist/Chemist backgrounds, but you would hope they had, especially after swapping spit (and perhaps more?). But who knows with these people, lol.
This POV comp seems like a long one. If Rachel wins it and opts to take Brendon off instead of herself, at least Marcellas will no longer have the title of dumbest move in BB History. I bet he's secretly hoping she will do it.

Well I only made it an hour after feeds came on last night but is was my first time watching feeds from the very beginning since season 1.
Can't believe I made all the way through work today on three hours sleep. Guess I'm not as old as I thought I was :)
As she always does Lessa gave a very detailed report on the overnight happening. Glad it was all just game talk and I didn't miss any fun and games. Hope for that tonight. I can be and will be up all night.
All the talk of Annie playing both sides just makes her more like lovely Michelle.

Considering the sabatour, I'm okay with more drama. I usually don't like it when I hear that production plays favorites and rigs the comps.
I take back what I said last night about the new feeds being far superior to the old feeds. I'm sure it's my dinosaur of a computer but the main feed is pretty shaky and side feeds are delayed big time.
Just means I rely on the Dish as much as ever, which of course is never a bad thing.
They played a technotronics game again this year. So who will go off on who tomorrow ;)

When I go to the live feeds and try to switch to another camera it goes into quad and there is no sound. How do you switch over without getting quad? Is this happening to anyone else?

I'm trying to get a feel for this years HGs before I make judgements.
Annie is showing herself to be someone with no loyalty who will always follow power. I don't hate her (yet) so I hope she develops a better strategy and sticks to it. And she better do it fast.
Don't love Andrew but I kind of feel sorry for him. Wish we would have had feeds those first few days to see if there is a legitimate reason that everyone seems to dislike him.
Brendon doesn't seem like a bad guy but apparently he ended up on the wrong side of the power (last year's Jeff).
Thought I would hate Enzo but I don't (yet). However, he's not on the block and he seems to be tight with the HOH so he needs to quit complaining about not winning the POV. Not only does it make him look like a poor loser, it also isn't going to gain him any brownie points with Brendon who just could be next week's HOH.

So, I'll attempt to do this really quickly.
Saboteur: As an avid Lie To Me viewer, I've learned little tricks to pick up on the lies. If you watch the announcement again, you'll see that Kristen covered her face and/or mouth multiple times. It's pretty interesting stuff...I believe it's Kristen.
Lane: He is the spitting image of Andy from Parks & Recreation. Could be identical twins.
It's too early for me to form opinions and I was totally wrong based on initial interviews. As of now, I'm digging on Matt & Ragan. I just like looking at Lane but he's not the brightest. I don't really care for their "alliances" but, so far, I like them the best. I loved Britney in her interview but I'm not sure how I feel about her now. We'll see.

I was lucky (??) last year in the sense that I wasn't working. I was able to stay up all night and sleep all day. Same as the hamsters.
I'm back to work now and, when I'm training, my days are anywhere from 12-15 hrs for 4 week intervals. It just wipes me out. I still have the feeds so I can read your site and then catch flashbacks.
I wish I were independently wealthy so I didn't have to worry about it! :)

OMG, Lane, Enzo, and Britney are cracking me up in the Blanche's room (Do we have a name for this room?).
I'm definitely like Enzo about 95% more than I expected to.
The day had arrived... I signed up for the live feeds on Wednesday... Just like last year the feeds started off with a browser only format...
Not a big deal, I called the support line and they told me I would be able to do all the same things with the new format that I could do before using Real Player.
Well day 2 off the feeds is here and the feeds are the same as yesterday..
I am very disappointed in the lack of quality being offered to a loyal Super Pass customer of many years...
You cannot pause, rewind or anything I had become accustomed to.
Lets hope this changes... Very quickly...

Syn, I don't have confirmation, but before BB started, Twitter was going crazy looking for dirt on everyone, and there were pictures of Rachel that do not look like the Rachel we're seeing now. But I guess she's admitted to having botox at least 10 times.

RedRhonda - Not a stupid question at all. They either have to provide him a kosher version, or the stuff they use is already kosher. Many common (and not so common) products are. Usually, there's a discreet little K on the product. I bet if you look in your fridge or cabinet, you'll find plenty. ;)
